En cette journée mondiale du recyclage ♻️, c'est l'occasion de rappeler qu'il est important de trier nos déchets afin de les valoriser. Chez Ashoka, pour éviter que les bouteilles finissent dans les océans, nous les mettons dans nos sacs ! Mais qu'est ce que cela veut dire ? Dès le début nous avons voulu que les doublures de nos sacs et accessoires soient conçues dans une matière 100% recyclée. Cette matière réalisée à partir de bouteilles plastique se retrouve aujourd'hui dans tous nos sacs. Et c'est environ 23 bouteilles de 0,5 litre qui sont nécessaires pour la fabrication d'un sac à main. Puis, pour aller encore plus loin, nous avons été les premiers en France à opter pour l'apple Skin 🍏, cette matière révolutionnaire réalisée à partir de déchets de pommes, résidus de l'industrie agro alimentaire. Notre défi, vous proposer un sac qui dedans comme dehors serait issu de matériaux recyclés et cela tout en conservant les codes du luxe et de la maroquinerie. La route est encore longue et il reste beaucoup à faire, alors créons, innovons et recyclons ! On this global recycling day ♻️, it is an opportunity to remind people that it is important to sort our waste in order to recover it. At Ashoka, to avoid bottles ending up in the oceans, we put them in our bags! But what does that mean? From the very beginning we wanted the linings of our bags and accessories to be made from 100% recycled material. This material, made from plastic bottles, is now found in all our bags. And it takes about 23 bottles (0.5 litres) to make a handbag. Then, to go even further, we were the first in France to opt for the Apple skin 🍏 material fabric, this revolutionary material made from apple waste, waste from the food industry. Our challenge, to offer you a bag that inside and outside would be made from recycled materials while retaining the codes of luxury and leather goods.
