Drew up the Archmagister, one of Zephrine's two co-rulers in Tiamyra.

Similar to how Zephrine rules the religious aspect of things in the Cathedral of Five Spires, Visaryn here rules the magic aspect, leading the Obsidian Spire. Together with the Sovereign(Raishi) and the Hierarch(Zephrine), they make up Tiamyra's rulers, collectively called the Triumverate.

Given that Tiamat rules at least partly over the domain of magic in Caerllon, mages are very highly respected within the nation's culture, and Visaryn here is no exception. The complex inner-workings and cutthroat politics of the Obsidian Spire has meant that Visaryn has had to be very cunning and resourceful to reach the top, and even moreso to remain there for as long as he has. He is both respected and feared, for good reason.

As a person he is both a brilliant and very serious man who doesn't suffer fools and has little time for those that interrupt his work, and even less time for those whose ambition exceeds their skill. He also isn't above turning someone into a potted plant should they draw his ire, which means most people aren't dumb enough to do so.

That said, if you earn his respect, he will do everything in his power(which is significant) to do right by you and is incredibly loyal once that loyalty has been earned.

Evil DnD Doodles

Some more D&D drawings! Today I bring you our 4e evil campaign! Hands down one of my favorites where my tiefling warlock was able to curse two warring armies and use their deaths to power a final blast of darkness that hit the main bad guy for 1,700+ d6's. We all had to roll to make sure I didn't just nuke the entire party off the map and hey! I only wound up killing the pixie. (Well, and the bad guy. I reduced that demon into nothing but ash... and everything around us for miles... Good times!)

The first drawing is Zenobia, the aforementioned tiefling and her personal murderer/bodyguard, the thri kreen Tah'Koh. (My friends think it's funny to name these things after food...)

This is the beautiful Rekah the dryad, and Ophelia the drug-addicted pixie.

My husband's red dragonborn sorcerer, Zarrok and my friend's blue dragonborn: the lady! The DIVA! Miss Jorjor Gabor (or Jormun'gandr). He dressed in drag once and decided to do it for the rest of the campaign despite being REALLY bad at it.

Cuttle Fishback

This was another very recent character concept that I nearly got to use. I had to make it on short notice, but was struck by inspiration. Unfortunately I very quickly felt I didn’t quite gel with the group, so I politely excused myself and withdrew my participation. This concept was partly based on my Kraken Warlock Inheritor concept, and he was briefly a Lizardman until I realized that Fathomless gave you a Swim Speed and Water Breathing, so it would be more interesting to slap on someone who couldn’t do that normally. Cuttle was originally the name of his Octopus familiar. The game was Call of the Netherdeep.

Pact of the Chain: Familiar is an Octopus tentatively named Abaddon. 

Backstory Concept: Cuttle Fishback was the Chef on a Pirate Ship (I'll name it later). The ship sank during an unnatural storm, and as he sunk to the depths of the ocean he was contacted by a sunken sentient/haunted ship (also to be named later). It hungers for treasure, and saved his life in return for his service on it's "crew". Gave him a compass that always points in the direction of a treasure the ship desires, but Cuttle doesn't actually know what that treasure is, just that he needs to find it, so he goes wherever the compass points.

This backstory Concept was written in like 30 minutes, so it certainly has a lot of room for additional details. 

Appearance: 6′5, 256 lbs. Red scales, One Smoldering red eye (Wears an eyepatch.). Squared jaw for a dragonborn. Two large curving red-black horns that sweep backwards. Scales instead of smooth are jagged and somewhat prickly, some semblance to a jagged coral reef. Broadly built. Alligator like tail. Wears a black chef’s uniform with a large scarf, the interior of the scarf has the symbol of his former crew on it.

My Skyrim Dragonborn, Vakna True-Thunder shortly after turning an unlucky band of highwaymen into a three-course meal. Wanted to make an illustration alluding to her history with lycanthropy and the Daedric Prince of Prey over the course of a decade. After all, where is the sport in hunting an unarmed prisoner on the run--a young messenger for the Jarl of Windhelm himself who had yet to see even her sixteenth winter? The pursuing Dominion jailers and hounds never had any intention of playing fair, blood moon or not, so Hircine offered the desperate girl the power to even these odds and make his forest a proper hunting ground once more. And in years since, she has certainly never let this power go to waste.
