I'm coming with the idea (yours actually lmao but it's neat) of hickeys. A t&t wenclair, before a potential sexual debacle, where after a kinda hard day for Enid, she sees interested people being around Wednesday and clearly those people don't know what they're doing. So Enid tries to make the idea that Wednesday is taken clear, by leaving hickeys.

(I really like the sentence how she wants her love to be a den and not a cage that you said in the sex prompt for this au. You think you could put it in her demeanor ? Totally cool if you don't)

"you wouldn't leave, righ?" Enid asks from her side of the room.

Wednesday pauses in her writing because with relationships come the realization that somethings are simply more important than Viper at times.

At times being a keyword because usually she wouldn't need to give a glance but Enid sounded.. Off and that was a sign that something was wrong if what her books said was right.

Enid is special, it's only right that Wednesday gives her attention whenever she wishes for it.

Wednesday turns her head to to meet the blank stare of her paramour. She looked unbothered, as if asking about the weather but Wednesday can see the tiny bit of a fang peaking out from those lips. Enid was stressed about something, enough to want to wrap her Jaws around it.

It's not the first time but it has been happening alot recently.

What brought this on?

Wednesday didn't need to think twice to know her eyes turned a lil bit more expressive as something akin to worry is flickers onto her face.

"id need to leave this room eventually," she says.

Those lips of enid's upturn at her answer and it has Wednesday's heart beating in turn.

Gorgeous.

"you know what I mean, Wednesday," Enid repeats, rolling her eyes as she sits up on the edge of her bed. The fang was still there and her nails flexed as they tapped against the muted colored covers. Then, the wolf tilts her head to bare a smile that makes Wednesday's hairs rise. It's a feeling akin to an electric shock, it's lovely.

"Then again," she muses, pushing herself off to stand up. "you wouldn't dare do that would you?"

Leave? I could never, runs through Wednesday's mind. For where else could I go but into your arms?

"I dare to do many things," is what leaves Wednesday's lips and she fully turns in her seat to face her lover. It's a tease, a taunt and Enid responds in kind with a laugh.

She strides closer, slipping a hand to cradle the back of Wednesday's chair as she loomed over. It's dangerous for Enid to be in her space, simply because wednesday can count every lash in those eyes and thinks of all the ways those lips would feel against hers.

Wednesday already knows it would be soft yet those teeth wouldn't be afraid to nip and bite, just the way she likes it.

"you're cute, 'day," Enid says and Wednesday's couldn't stop the way her face turns affronted at that. Because pardon her slang because cute? Is simply not a word one uses to describe her.

"I think you're mistaken," Wednesday dryly replies, shifting in her seat to cross her arms. "and simply incorrect too."

Enid tilts her head, eyeing her with a lazy smile on her face. Gone was the fang and something akin to a spark of pleased burns in Wednesday's gut.

"I think I'm right," Enid smartly rebukes as she leant on the chair and with it comes the smell of burnt vanilla.

Wednesday was going to say something before a hand ghosts over the back of her neck and the girl became rather aware of how close the two were. So close that they could nearly share the same breath if she brought Enid in by the collar.

Close enough to kiss, if she willed it so.

"I think you're wrong," Wednesday mumbles as heat warms at her neck, already leaning onto the hand near it.

Enid smiles and its one that takes her breath away.

Oh wait no, this one felt a little too literal and Wednesday swallowed, feeling the way her throat bobbed against the wolf's thumb. A slow unsheathing of a claw reaches ears and Wednesday doesn't need a mirror to know the blood has reached her face when that lovely weapon of enid's presses onto her skin.

"I think I'm right," Enid repeats and she tilts her head, her lips pulling back into a smile as she eyes the lady sitting. "don't you think so Wednesday?"

Wednesday breathes through her nose, trying to think this carefully. Before taking that rationality and tossing it out the window by arching her brow.

"i think you'd need to convince me," Wednesday says and her breath hitches when that grip tightens, that lovely claw teasingly scratching against her skin.

The look on Enid's face darkens and Wednesday shivers when her hand lightens to brush a finger on her cheek instead.

"I can do that."

The next day, Wednesday earned odd stares as she loosened her tie. Around her neck littered bruises but not the usual kind like most expect. It wasn't lil hickies that come with someone suckling, instead it was long, like someone wrapped their fingers around that throat and squeezed.

It looked like Wednesday had gotten choked out.

They wouldn't be wrong.

raised from birth in a family of yakuza, sabu is considered a yakuza prince. he has no real want the lead the group that he was born into, despite having all the rights to its assets. prefers to be a silent leader, rather than an up - lifting, present one. very off - putting to those who talk to him. not apt to give away personal information, he holds the rights to all of the riches his family passed off to him. will only give his name as SABU .

early life, high - school.

in youth, sabu was less of a quiet, level - headed person. filled with lots of rage towards his family, especially his father for the way he was raised; constantly thrown into ever - growing dangerous situations. as the second - oldest son in the family, he held little worth in their eyes, lacking the potential to become the next head of their family business. being tossed into underground fighting rings, learning to fight for himself at a young age - his anger was constant. lashing out in different ways, whether it was wreaking havoc on the maids or picking pointless fights at school. he acquired a love for all things violence - filled, horror movies, rock music, degrading pornographic imagery - occult paraphernalia.

when he was nineteen, his face injury occurred - the product of an illegal underground fight; where his opponent used his teeth to rip the skin from sabu’s face. tearing on the right side, from the top of his jawline to the chin, ripping half the lip. the worst pain that he had ever felt in his entire life. with a family that did not believe heavily in the support of doctors or hospitals, he was left to at home remedies, with little care from his parents if he lived or died. relying on heavy pain - killers & incredibly painful methods to ensure that it scarred up enough to keep from infecting.

soon after his facial injury, he became reliant on the painkillers - taking them more often than he didn’t; mellowing out his personality a great deal. a relief to anyone that had to withstand him working at his parent’s mansion.

the death of his older brother became the conspiracy that had many thinking of him as a monster. convinced that he would kill his own sibling to solidify his place as the heir to the family business, giving him all of the rights to the family fortune. the truth behind his brother’s murder remains a mystery, and he refuses to say a word on it; his younger sister taking the side of believing that he had a hand in it, but he remains apathetic.

after many years, sabu still retains his favored gothic aesthetic; considered to be quite extra about it. his home is decorated in blacks & reds; his two favorite colors. most of his business remains a mystery to those who are not involved - only keeping few close acquaintances.

his only real close friend is a single right - hand man, with a child who he quite openly treats as a niece. estranged from his own family, the yakuza that he maintains is closer to a family than his true blood to him; not that he openly admits to such.

at forty - three, he no longer possesses the same aggressive personality that he once had. becoming someone a lot more cold & calculating over the years; be - fitting of a leader

regular ol' team-up: best case scenario would be setting up an actual team of 4! but i also wouldn't wanna force anyone into anything if they don't want to, so i'll leave this as a tentative "muses teaming up for convenience; potential for multi-mun plotting if everyone's interested" type thing! i do think coming up with a team name and everything would be rly fun tho...

coaching/mentoring: i'm a sucker for yuri tuning into his big bro-isms and i think this event's perfect for that tbh! it's very likely he'd naturally hype up any younger muses participating in the events, whether he's teaming up with them or just cheering from the sidelines. this could also be incorporated with the 4-person team idea if everyone's down for it.

maybe it's the summer or whatever but holy Hell do I have the hankering for reviving my Gamora and Nebula (of Marvel's MCU / Guardians of the Galaxy) muses. I know this is a niche ask and has never really gotten traction before but you can't fault a guy for trying, soooo;

I like creating lil' servers for me and my partners where we can write and store all the good stuff like music, refs, art, memes, all of that in multiple channels. it's not required to befriend me to write with me, but I do gladly befriend my writing partners! I write in third person, past tense, and usually reply at least once a day, sometimes quicker, sometimes slower. you know how it is; life, in the way, etc. I strive to be communicative and let you know should I get busy. I typically write 2+ paragraphs and can go up to the dozens if given the opportunity, sometimes I simply Cannot Shut Up, but it is not required that you write a whole ass novel just because I do. 🦄 — something wonderfully unique! a headcanon about what my muse believes sets them apart from others in their life?

Aster

Her life experience is different enough from other people’s that it makes her feel one of a kind at best, like a bit of an outsider looking in at worst. She hasn’t really met anyone else that’s shared her experience of the Galar League, plus dropping out of school early due to constant travelling at a young age has also caused her to feel a bit isolated socially. Not that she’s insecure about it, she just acknowledges that her situation was a bit unusual compared to most.

Kaz

Genuinely believes he’s the most handsome man on the planet. He’ll acknowledge other people are hot, but Kaz sees himself as a cut above the rest. Even when his face is busted from getting into fights he still has the confidence to act like he’s the hottest person in the room.

Vernon

Doesn’t see himself as anything particularly unique or special, instead he views his pokemon as the exceptional ones. Doesn’t matter that they aren’t good at battling and are just companions (except Roddy, who’s a Working Bird), he has the best ones. His special little guys :))

👚 — pretty in pink! for a headcanon about my muse’s wardrobe looks like and what their favourite colour to wear is.

Aster

I have drawn some of Aster’s outfits before!! they can be found in her tag, but I’ll stick them all here too :)) Green and orange hair is from her old design/when she was living in Nacrene City, but she still wears the same clothes!! Outfit repeater and proud of it lmao

Generally prefers vintage clothes, her wardrobe has elements of the 60s, 70s, 90s and 2000s. Likes low rise pants and skirts, and her hemlines short. Wears boots almost exclusively as far as footwear goes. At work, she prefers wearing stuff that’s comfortable, easy to move in and doesn’t matter if it gets dirty. For favourite colours to wear, she goes for deep reds, oranges and browns.

Kaz

Still working on a proper wardrobe ref for Kaz, but for now here’s some examples lifted off pinterest for the sort of stuff he wears:

On a day to day basis he dresses in outfits that are kind of edgy, dark colours and details like chains, studded belts and silver jewellery. When playing shows with his band, he goes very flashy. Effeminate and revealing, he dresses to keep the audience’s eyes on him and look sexy. Favourite colour to wear is purple.

Vernon

Like with Aster, I’ve drawn some outfits for Vernon before!!

Used to lack a sense of style until he got sick of Aster roasting his outfits over facetime and gave into her demands to “fix”. his wardrobe. He currently wears a mix of a few things he already had and some stuff Aster found for him online. Unsurprisingly, her more retro influence has rubbed off on him. Not very confident in experimenting with accessories, but he can’t really go wrong with just jeans and a decent shirt. Likes shades of green in his outfits.

💞 — you stole my heart! for a romantic headcanon from my muse’s past, or even potentially from their present.

Aster

Been on dates here and there but never had a long term relationship before arriving in Unova, it just isn’t convenient when you’re travelling and the other party might not want to leave their home region when you’re ready to explore somewhere new. Tried long distance with someone she met in Sinnoh, who wanted to stay in Hearthome City, but once Aster left for Alola things fizzled out on her end within a month. She felt bad at first, but got over it quickly.

Kaz

Not a lot of romantic experience here, though when he was a teenager and the band was just starting out, Kaz dated someone who became infatuated with him after seeing him on stage a few times. He wasn’t really interested in this groupie, just wanted to soak up their attention (and maybe use the relationship as an opportunity to have sex for the first time). Things ended abruptly when he got bored and told them to fuck off.

Vernon

Had a boyfriend when he was in his last couple years of school. It was a pretty normal, if awkward, first relationship for both of them. Vernon was the one who got dumped, though it was mostly mutual. The boyfriend was about to go to university in another city and wanted a fresh start (read: get drunk and be promiscuous during freshers week without cheating on someone). Vernon had already started his training to become a cabbie pretty much the moment school ended for them, and had less and less free time to spend with his boyfriend anyway, so while disappointed he figured it would be for the best if they parted ways. Have not spoken to one another since.

🧠 — brain vs. brawn! a headcanon of two times in my muse’s life: one where they used their intellect, and one where they used their physical strength or skills.

Aster

Intellect: Aster would be put to the test by her mother in childhood, in that she’d frequently be taken to art museums and galleries, then the two of them would talk about the stuff on display and what Aster thought about them. This ‘mother daughter bonding time’ would cause Aster to think harder than usual about certain artworks, especially more abstract ones that don’t really look like anything specific. Caused her critical thinking skills to improve a whole bunch.

Strength: While living with Romy, Aster would occasionally help out with various things that involved heavy lifting. Packing and transporting Romy’s sculptures for exhibitions or helping set up sound equipment when Kaz’s band would play at the apartment for rehearsals or parties. This was on top of working at the Route 3 Daycare, which is a hands-on job in itself handling other people’s pokemon.

Kaz

Intellect: Usually not very smart, but very good with a guitar. Plays by ear, messes around with alternative tuning methods and varying time signatures etc. Can’t write lyrics for shit but could probably come up with very complex instrumentals or solos given the chance.

Strength: Uses his physical strength all the time. To beat people up. Also uses his strength to wrestle with his pokemon for fun. A regular human can’t really compete with an Electivire in a sparring match, but that’s not going to stop Kaz from trying.

Vernon

Intellect: Read the entirety of James Joyce’s Ulysses and managed to make sense of it. Or the pokemon world’s equivalent of that book. He didn’t have an annotated copy so spent a lot of time looking up the relevant historical context and doing his own research to help pull the text apart more easily. Took a long time but finishing the book felt like a major achievement.

Strength: Flying on the back of a Corviknight all night requires a lot of stamina and physical strength. Flying at high altitudes while in the open air for extended periods of time while also straddling a giant bird can be exhausting, and just being able to stay on the saddle at the same time requires above average strength lest the cabbie be sent flying off their Corviknight’s back during turbulence. It’s actually a pretty dangerous occupation to go into.

Chapter 48 - As The Waters Flow of Heaven Has A Road But No One Walks It is up! :D

The rains caught up with them at last, and any hope that it might ease the sweltering heat was thoroughly dashed – the air was so thick with humidity, it was worse than the mists back in Yi City, thick and heavy and hot.

And yet, despite the discomfort of damp, clinging robes and the relentless heat... there was a comfortable familiarity, a sense of peace to simply walking.

“I have been thinking, lately, about the flow of water,” Xiao Xingchen mused out loud, unthinkingly letting a nudge from Xue Yang's elbow steer him around yet some other puddle or muddy patch. “And I've realized that by setting my heart so firmly on what we hoped to achieve in Jinlintai, making it the one goal above all others... I blinded myself to the greater truth of what it is I – we - actually hope to do.”

“Of course,” Xue Yang amiably agreed, and he really should have seen the bad joke coming, he should have, “you are blind, Daozhang.”

Can't help but oblige and ask about your hc for the origins of Song Lan's mysophobia👀

I know I outright encouraged the question, but wow. 😂

So this was a headcanon I picked up for Heaven Has A Road after actually writing the events that partially gave rise to it.

When I was on vacation a couple of months back, I found myself without hand sanitizer after visiting a store, and after the last two years of pandemic and the super-strict regulations at that particular location, being unable to sanitize my hands for those few minutes before I got back to the hotel really made my skin crawl. Like there were potential pathogens all over them, to the point I could almost feel it.

And so logically, I thought to myself "Wow, this must be how Song Lan feels at all times."

And then my next thought was "Huh, and he was the one who immediately picked up on the abandoned zombie village having been devastated by a plague..."

So, a Song Lan who knows to spot the aftermath of a plague, a Song Lan obsessed with staying clean, avoiding closeness and touch... A Song Lan raised by a temple, because he had no family of his own...

Maybe the first plague he saw was his home village. Maybe toddler Song Lan was told by terrified relatives not to approach strangers, not to touch, wash your hands, keep clean - or the sickness will get you, will get us all...

And then it did.

Maybe Song Lan was taken in by Baixue because everyone else was gone. Dead. Their bodies twisted and swollen and festering, ruined and tainted by sickness. Uncleanness. And if you touch, if you get dirty, if you don't stay clean... It will get you too. Get you, and all those you care about.

He was too young to consciously remember any of it. In his mind, there's nothing before Baixue.

But after that, he never stopped compulsively washing his hands.

And he still can't make himself touch.

No demanding he surrender. No using the spirit-trapping rope he carries in his sleeve to restrain him. No hesitation, no quarter.

maybe it's the summer or whatever but holy Hell do I have the hankering for reviving my Gamora and Nebula (of Marvel's MCU / Guardians of the Galaxy) muses. I know this is a niche ask and has never really gotten traction before but you can't fault a guy for trying, soooo;

✦ sup, I'm yee regular, 30+ trans dude and homosexual from Europe, looking to write one on one with peeps on discord. I like creating lil' servers for me and my partners where we can write and store all the good stuff like music, refs, art, memes, all of that in multiple channels. it's not required to befriend me to write with me, but I do gladly befriend my writing partners! I write in third person, past tense, and usually reply at least once a day, sometimes quicker, sometimes slower. you know how it is; life, in the way, etc. I strive to be communicative and let you know should I get busy. I typically write 2+ paragraphs and can go up to the dozens if given the opportunity, sometimes I simply Cannot Shut Up, but it is not required that you write a whole ass novel just because I do. I love slow burn as much as love at first sight, angst and fluff, hurt and comfort and occasional smut, mostly just everything in a nice balance. I'm not interested in toxic ships; I like my ships to suffer, sure, but not because they're actively terrible for each other for idk steamy reasons I guess. I like them to struggle but come out the other side together and stronger, beat their obstacles and have love conquer all.
