realistically i shouldnt stay up to do homework (because ... that'll make things worse tomorrow) but also like. i have too many things going on tomorrow to be able to just uh. start on it tomorrow

#i have to watch something around 2 hours long. usually i watch at 2x speed for class w/ captions #since it's 10 pm it'll be 11 when i stop #i have an appointment at 10 am and another one at 2 pm #paper is due at 5:30 pm and i have another assignment that i need done by 11:59 #and class is from 6-7:50 give or take #i'd reschedule... the 10 am appointment #but the next appointment would be in april...#i already rescheduled it once...#maybe i'll reschedule the 2 pm one but that appointment is to like. talk with disability resources for accommodations #lol........#rescheduled that for next week...

i've had some really stupidly large unexpected expenses this week so i might open quick sketch comms later today to try and make the money back asap........ nothing fancy or expensive, just quick sketches with minimal grey shading at most, stuff i can finish and deliver fast

#basically i have an important work/school related trip next week and had to reschedule my flights #because i was DUMB and had gotten the dates wrong #ended up being charged double what the original tickets had cost #and now im worried i want be able to eat while traveling lol #so if you want to help a dumb fuck out and get a sketch out of it nows your chance #im talking like 5-10€ prices at most #chubsette talks

Low-income clinic gastroenterology categorically doesn't do telehealth appointments and requires you to come in person which I think is a little bit prohibitive for a patient base 1) largely reliant on public transit and 2) largely afflicted with chronic conditions that will make you vomit or shit yourself if you have to spend two hours on the bus

top surgery in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS so obviously i am perpetually bursting into tears because i can't wait i can't wait i can't wait i can't wait!!!!!!! oh my goddddd i can't breathe i'm so excited (and terrified)

#i am also on month 4ish of progressively going off my main antidepressant so i KEEP BURSTJNG INTO TEARS UNEXPECTEDLY #my phone is being locked up with one of the gals for the first week of recovery but i've warned all my friends that im. well #despite being the Happiest Person they've ever met i am definitely definitely going to be crying that first week fbjdnf #oh god though im so excited i was at the gym tonight and all i could thnk was. #Personal #Health stuff #I have my 6-month checkup after my conization surgery next Wednesday #Which will have to be rescheduled if my period isn’t over by then #And that is simply not an option given how my doctor works 1 day a week and his next availability isn’t until 3 months from now #I had my Pap smear that resulted in the conization surgery on February 14th 2024 #I've spent more than enough time waiting for results and appointments etc since #I am NOT waiting another 3 months if this fucker (my period) decides to be a fickle bitch

we interviewed like, literally the perfect candidate today (for another job I'm on the panel for, sadly not for my team) but also they work with Sam so I was like 'NO. I SHOULDN'T ask Sam 'hey is [name] sound?'

but because I have no boundaries instead I went into his room as soon as I got home and went 'THE INTERVIEWS WENT WELL. BY THE WAY WHO ARE THE PEOPLE WHO YOU LIKE AND HATE AT WORK.' which inevitably triggered a guessing game which. is just asking 'is [name] sound' with extra steps

(they are, evidently, as good as they seemed)

(which is lucky. already finalised my scoring so.)

#red said #I'm sorry to [name] who was like 'i don't want people at work to know I've applied for other jobs' when i mentioned i knew Sam #there is no defence i just can't keep secrets #but also in fairness Sam's on holiday until after we make the decision and we still have one person to see #but they would have to be genuinely amazing to do better than [name] cause they knocked it out of the park on every metric #like the only criticism anyone could come up with was 'they seem kind of overqualified'#they were lovely. extremely capable. had both a depth and breadth of knowledge and experience. they even had work life boundaries.#hens teeth in the charities sector to find people who are both good at their jobs and capable of switching off #so we have to meet my Least Favourite Candidate next week. Least Favourite bc they scored well on their application so i had to rank them #as my 2nd choice. but also stacked up every Hate point. cop army reservist ai specialist former city job. die die die.#like i have to be FAIR and BALANCED and i WILL be. in the event he's somehow significantly better than the person we saw today #of course he'll get it #but like if it's a could-go-either-way thing it should be today's candidate #next week's candidate is also on my shitlist for needing to reschedule the interview (fair. reasonable.)#and therefore extending the amount of time i need to endure being on interview panels by an entire extra week (hate kill maim)#that. unlike being a cop. isn't his fault and everyone should have the right to reschedule if needed. but i JUST WANT IT OVER
