Rescue Bot Elita

Okay, so a while back I had this AU about Elita being a rescue bot as you can probably tell from the title and now that I've finished rewatching RB for the umpteenth time (Did you know Cody was thirteen in season four? I swear I thought he was fifteen), I decided to brush off the old AU.

We start not with Elita, but with Ariel. She's young and unmotivated, unsure of what she wants to do with her life. One day, she ditches class to bug hang out with Swerve at Maccadam's, only to end up trapped in a fire after a bar fight gets too rough. After being saved by Chromia and her team, Ariel suddenly realized what she wanted to do with her life.

After skipping ahead a few years, we come to Ariel's academy days. She and her team train hard and excel at their classes. Heck, Ariel proves to be so good that she's taught how to scan a third mode. She's told not to tell the others how, but she immediately goes back on this and shows one of her teammates.

Eventually, she, along with her classmates Thunderblast, Inferno, Mortar, and Lifeline graduated as Rescue Force Omega-85. At first, everything was coming up roses. They were saving lives, she had met Orion Pax, and she was living the dream. Of course, this is Cybertron, and good things don't last long there.

A mission had gone horribly wrong, leaving Mortar and Lifeline dead. They knew death was always a possibility on the job, but they weren't as prepared as they thought. Inferno and Thunderblast gave up rescue work, eventually joining the Wreckers and the Decepticons respectively. Ariel retired from active duty, instead choosing to teach the newer generations of rescue bots.

Her final group of students before the war finally kicked off were the bots who would later become Rescue Force Sigma-17. She would never claim to have favorites among her students, but these guys were pretty close. Eventually, they too would graduate, but would often come to Ariel for advice. She would later be the last bot to speak with them before they went into stasis.

She wanted to call for search parties, but before she could raise the alarm, the war - which had just been a few skirmishes beforehand - finally began in earnest. She would side with Optimus and his Autobots, but she never forgot her missing students.

Millennia after Cybertron had died, Ariel - now calling herself 'Elita One' - finds her way to Earth and reunites with Optimus. Initially, he asks her to join Team Prime, but stops when he sees the scuffed rescue bot insignia on her shoulder plating. He still asks her to fight, as the Autobots need every capable fighter they can get, but he doesn't ask her to join the team.

Instead, he convinces her to take a position similar to Wheeljack and Hightide where she goes wherever, whether it's helping people or shooting cons. He also makes sure she knows of a little island off the coast of Maine. One housing the last known Rescue Bots in existence. He had no way of knowing he was about to reunite a teacher with her former students.

One of the main characters in my au, Hot Rod!

She's one of the younger autobots, and one of the only ones that isn't afraid to stand up to Sentinel. When she was "born," she was assigned to Ultra Magnus, taking care of her was supposed to help him have patience and calm the terrible temper he had. She's currently learning how to steer The Ark (and she's not doing so well), as well as having to deal with Sentinel wanting her to be Prime (so that he can keep her under his control). She's curious, and may be the key to stopping the war... Who knows... :)

Next one is Elita-One!

Elita-One, as awesome as she is, she can be the most annoying autobot out there. Depends who you ask. She's a skilled fighter and loyal to the autobot cause, she's saved Optimus in battle countless times, but she's always had an obsession with Optimus, even back when Optimus was still called Orion Pax.

Next up (and one of my favorite), Megaempress!

She's actually Megatron's sister! She and Megatron were created at slightly different times yet they're related! She had a way better life than him though (Her parental figure was Termagax btw), and she never met him until she headed to Earth for a "pit stop" to refill her ship with a supply of energon and other things and stumbled across The Nemesis. She's way more outgoing and energetic than Megatron, and she's tough but friendly. She's leader of a small group of bots who left Cybertron during the war, her second in command being Slipstream!

Next one is Slipstream! (Not official design, I'm changing it up a bit)

Slipstream is actually Starscream's sister! Born at different times though just like Megaempress. She's second in command to Megaenmpress and she's a tough cookie. She and Windblade had some past together but she's moved on. She may be small but she can put up a fight!

Next up is Arachnid! (I made this design a long time ago, I may tweak it around a bit)

(I may combine arachnid and arachnia into one), she's a decepticon since she had no choice but to follow them when she was rescued. She was actually a scientist, but not a good one. She experimented on other cybertronians, to see how future generations could be upgraded. One of her subjects was Blitzwing, where she was trying to upgrade the t-cogs and other parts needed for a transformation so that Cybertronians could change into more than one thing. Blitzwing was her first test for this, and it didn't end so well, he couldn't control the transformations and he was just suffering in general. But after a few more tests on other cybertronians, she was successful. Now most of the young bots can transform into more than one thing because of her.

Next up is Arcee!

A smart bot, she was destined to do great things before the war, but she followed her "heart" instead. She and Skywarp were together for a while and she was happy, but their first official date, was also the day she could've been been accepted into the academy of her dreams. She loved Skywarp so much that she let go of her dream for him, but he never showed up. After that night, she promised that she would never love anyone again.

Next up is Thrust!

Underestimated by her brothers, Ramjet and Dirge, she was abandoned inside an abandoned factory when she was just created. Luckily, Shockwave found her in time before the whole building burned down. She always works her hardest to prove to her brothers that she's just as strong as them.

Next up is Smokescreen!

She's a smart bot! She's one of Hot Rod's closest friends and very close to Optimus. Optimus wanted to give the matrix to her after him, but the matrix didn't choose her, it chose Hot Rod instead. (She goes by any pronouns technically)

Next up is Termagax! (I made this design a while ago, I may change it up a bit)

She was Megaempress's mentor and mother figure!

There's some more, like Cyrak, Windblade, Red Alert, Flamewar, Chromia, Shadow striker, Miko, Nova Storm, Nacelle, etc.

Okay next question, what's optimus prime's sexuallity in each of your AU's?

Okay; Let’s go down the line then lol.

Now all the AU’s of Optimus is just different Prime’s over the Transformers franchise.

1986 Optimus (Gen-1 Boy) is the only bot out of the Prime’s in my AU’s who’s straight. But he is an ally to the LGBTQ+ because of Blurr and other bots.

The Comic versions of Optimus vary between Straight and Gay or Bisexual. I haven’t really read the comics but I have seen in YT videos the way Optimus would act sometimes around women and men so yeh; It just varies.

Of course; Optimus Primal is Gay and Poly as I explained in a previous ask you had lol.

Armada Optimus is Gay; He’s been gay since he became a Prime lol

Transformers Animated Optimus is Pansexual; He realized that when he liked Girls, Guys, Trans boys and well, Just Everyone lol. But he’s currently taken.

Okay; Who’s next… *Looks on List* OH! Bayverse Optimus; He is questioning if he is Bisexual because he was with Elita 1 when he was younger but he’s leaning more towards men lol. Why do you think I have him be with Ironhi- Wait! Just realized. He’s also Polyamorous.

Next; TFP and RID 2015 Optimus. Gay and Polyamorous; He knows who he likes from the men. Someone who’s grumpy and one hell of a good medic.

Rescue Bots Optimus will be a throw in because I like Rescue bots; He’s actually Bisexual.

Okay hopefully the last one before I get more questions about who each Prime is with (maybe lol) is EarthSpark Optimus; He’s Pansexual like Animated Optimus.

A Year of Moments Elita/Optimus Drabbles - March

           Fresh Starts      

“I didn’t know Optimus had a wife!” the human femme said, staring up at her.

Wife.

It wasn’t ‘bonded, it wasn’t ‘sparkmate’ with all the history and pain weighting those words down.

Wife.  A femme tied to another in love and credits and life.

Not the ‘Prime’s General’ or ‘Prime’s Holy Consort.’

Optimus’s wife.

Wife.  Defined by love.   Partnership engraved in the etymology of the word.

Not a lowly former dancer turned Prime’s sparkmate turned General.  Not a rank.  Not an insult.

“Yes,” she said slowly, her human language still accented and slow.  “I am Optimus’s wife.”

A new title.

           Road Trip      

“We’re not lost.”

“Of course not.”

Elita-1 squinted.

“We may have driven past Montana.”

“Understandable,” Optimus rumbled beside her, gleaming in the sunset, still in altmode.

“They need more signs.  These ‘states’ of theirs are too small.”

“I agree.”  He shifted back and forth to put himself in a sunnier spot.

“I’m sure everyone misses it.”

“Probably.”  He was sinking lower on his wheels, engine rumbling lower and deeper.

“Don’t you dare try and recharge out here.  We’ll find a…hotel parking lot or something.”

“Wasn’t that what we were trying to find before we drove through Montana?”

“Don’t get comfortable!”

           Mutual Pining      

“She was the helm of the SpecOps for Iacon.  Now she’s the youngest bot to achieve the rank of General.”

“He’s literally the word of Primus given physical form.”

“I’ve read her reports – she excels at everything she tries.”

“He’s the most powerful bot on the planet –“

“She speaks and the war room goes silent.”

“-because the planet picked him to speak for it.”

“Bots that won’t give me the time of day trip over themselves to speak to her.”

“He’s the prettiest mech I’ve ever fragging seen.”

“How exactly –“

“am I supposed to just ask him out?”

                             “Make me”      

She was obviously the bot who had been hacking their system.  A week’s worth of grime on her plating, a battered datapad full of illegal software, and an aggressive grin.

“Please stop using the library’s terminal for your illegal activity,” he said firmly.  She rocked back in her chair to look up at him.

“Got proof of that?” she asked, voice deep for her slight frame.  Her optics looked exhausted.

“I do.”

“And?”

“And I’m telling you to stop.”

“Telling me, are you?  Ha.  Make me.”  So exhausted.

Maybe change his approach?

“How about I ‘make you’ a cube instead?”

           Acceptance      

“-and tomorrow we’re going to visit the Library of Congress,” Optimus gushed over their private line.  “They said I could see things in the restricted section.”  Outwardly, he was calmly standing at attention, watching the training maneuvers.

“That’s wonderful,” Elita-1 said, lifting the next cannon onto her knee.  She was splattered with mud and gun powder – she’d be chipping it off later.

“I know the humans are implementing your new strategy.  I’d like to come watch afterwards.”

She grinned, spark glowing.  “It’ll be glorious!”

He smiled back.

The odd places a reluctant warrior turned Prime and battle-obsessed dropout found acceptance.

           Fairytale AU      

Optimus wasn’t expecting to be struck in the chestplates with a loop of cable, but here he was, on his back, staring up at the angry pink face in the tower.

“You better have punched Lord Starscream’s face in – the smug fragger.  Imagine!  Arresting me for spying!  Half our ambassadors are in his subspace pocket!”

“Um, I’m here to rescue you, Commander Elita-1?” Optimus said, trying to keep up with her rapid-fire complaints.

“Good.  I’d rather ally with Iacon anyways.”  She loosened her grip and slid the rest of the way down into his arms.

He wasn’t expecting that either.

Rescue Bot Elita AU

Okay, so I’ve been thinking about my RB Elita AU and how to explain it. I was going to make this big timeline of events, but A), I really don’t want to do something that big and B) Even if I did, there’s a lot I don’t have worked out yet.

So I figured ‘Hey, why not start with Elita herself?’ So this is just a scattered list of information that I have about her so far.

- Elita actually doesn’t become Elita until the war breaks out. For most of her career as a rescue bot, she’s known as Ariel.

- She kind of pulls from TFA Elita and Optimus. She’s teal and yellow (Again, until the war breaks out), she can temporarily copy abilities, and she loses a teammate on Archa Seven.

- Ariel was inspired to become a rescue bot when she was young (I’d put her at nine or ten if she were human. Just a little younger than the Rescue Bot Recruits). After cutting class to hang out with Swerve at Maccadam’s (even if he wouldn’t give her any high grade), a fight broke out and the bar was set alight.

- In all the commotion, The front of the building collapses before Ariel can reach the exit. Luckily, she was rescued by Chromia and her teammates, Moonracer and Firestar.

- Ariel would eventually join the academy and meet her future teammates: The excitable Inferno (Fire Specialist and future wrecker), the cynical Thunderblast (Sea specialist and future Decepticon), the quiet and humble Triage (Team medic), and the clumsy but well intentioned Mortar (Engineer and future corpse)/ Together, they were Rescue Force Omega-85.

- She was trained in search and rescue, but her copying ability allowed her to help out in just about any kind of rescue.

- The rescue bots usually weren’t called when collapses happened, but Ariel and her team were always there when someone called.

- While Ariel and Orion Pax courted, they never made the decision to become conjunx endura. After the exodus, a part of them regretted not doing so.

- After Archa Seven, Ariel would quit active duty and become a teacher at the academy. In fact, she was one the teachers for Rescue Force Sigma-17.

- She was also the last bot to see them before they went missing. Even after she meets them on Earth, she wishes she had either gone with them or stopped them from leaving.

- When Ariel joined the Autobots, she took on a new name and color as a way of leaving her past behind.

- While Elita proved to be a prolific warrior, she spent a lot of the war rescuing Autobots trapped on enemy line and neutral bots caught in the crossfire

- Elita became a legend among the Autobots after she beat the shit out of Starscream using one of his own soldiers as a club.

Regarding your Amnesiac Starscream AU concept: just as a little thought experiment, what do you think the other "Cons would be like as amnesiacs? Amnesiac!Blackarachnia would probably just be Elita-1, and personally I see Amnesiac!Blitzwing being quiet and intelligent like his Icy persona but also timid, sensitive, and a scaredy-cat (who's deathly afraid of the Autobots due to my headcanon that he was an AUtobot experiment as Blackarachnia experimenting on him was a Hasbro mandate and not the direction the writers wanted to take) and Animated!Shockwave being a dorky, emotional sweetheart who wants to use science to make the world a better place, but I'm not too sure how Amnesiac!Megatron and Amnesiac!Lugnut would act.

amnesiac blitzwing: he was a newly forged bot in the autobots rank, they were experimenting with making aerialbots to combat the decepticons, unfortunately, due to not having much knowledge on fliers anatomy and any records of such being purged in the times of the protectobots ruling, most of these newly forged bots either died, were not capable of fighting due to physical deformities and chorionic pain and other issues to date, the ones survived were experimented on and dissected, once the decepticons caught air of this they raided the autobots scientific facilities to rescue these trapped bots, amnesiac blitzwing is shaky, scared mess, almost feral in behavior and doesn’t trust anyone, his other personalities switching almost constantly and erratically, he hides away from anyone as a first respond, get too close and you will get severely mauled, he needs a hug.

amnesiac Megatron: he reverts to his mind set as a gladiator, he is deathly silent and extremely brutal, only ever seeming friendly with others of similar frametypes, while not as cunning or planning as his present self, he fights with great brutality and strength that most that face him are only found in parts, he is not a bot to be reckoned with.

amnesiac Lugnut: Lugnut was a royal guardbot to a family known in altihex as richest, he was often treated as a mere object and was punished if he does anything slightly off, once he heard Megatron speeches rallying bots to join his cause, to take down the cruel senate and council and never be treated unjustly based solely on frametypes, the poor guardbot was enraptured, he is a timid, soft spoken bot, twitchy and afraid of punishment due to his previous owners cruelty, but has strong determination and loyalty.

Tfa AU:

Blackarachnia is after Wasp for an experiment and to lure the newly cured Optimus.

Optimus had gain Wasp’s trust, providing a servo of friendship and during the mix of trying to talk the Elite and Repair Crew down, the Dino bots came by and kidnapped him and Wasp.

Thus, a new mission of the team and Elite to rescue them.

Elita having a very bad feeling on who might be the mastermind of this kidnapping.

While Blackarachnia looks at the glass coffin where BW Silverbolt lays, admiring and softly telling him that all will be well and she’ll save him.

Although Optimus has been involved in much of the kerfuffle and plot, there aren't many who would actually attempt to kidnap him rather than just defeat him.

Elita hopes she can just get there in time.

A few angsty facts about the tfp au!

Sometimes Starscream misses her older siblings, even if she spent a lot of her life pushing them down to claw her way up in life. He does not regret it though.

Breakdown still has nightmares about getting captured by MECH, and he's rightfully wary of humans. This will not fade, even as he grows more familiar with the kids and Fowler.

Slams hood of megop these two can fit so much chronic pain that will be tough to resolve

oh i don't know maybe the fact that tHE MATRIX WAs LitERALLy killing Optimus and bringing him back just to win arguments???

Soundwave will call Miko by the names of his offlined cassettes sometimes.

During the comm blackout a lot of vehicons honestly thought Fowler was dead.

Bumblebee will not have his vocalizer magically fixed and does not need his voice back, and he does not need to forgive Megatron.

Arcee has pretty bad separation anxiety when it comes to Jack and June, considering what happened to her previous partners. She does not need to forgive Starscream.

Bulkhead worries about the day that Wheeljack doesn't come back. Conversely, Wheeljack worries about the day where there won't be anyone to come back to.

The team on Griffin Rock worry a lot about Bumblebee while he's on the mainland, and desperately wish they knew more if what was going on. Even as they're put more and more into the loop, they're never going to feel like it's enough.

The night when it truly hit the rescue bots that Cybertron was gone Heatwave cried. Like honest to goodness messy crying.

Before the elite triad arrived on earth, a lot of the autobots assumed Elita One, Jazz, and Prowl were dead.

Jazz fucking missed Orion, and was so emotional when he found out Optimus came back right this time.

Tarn.

Pharma's crippling ptsd in regard to Delphi and Tarn.

The DJD is still here functioning without Tarn (well until they try to fuck with Arachnid anyways)

Knockout and Breakdown will offline, yes, but it will be together. Till death do us part, and even then they will still be together.

Can we know a bit about the OCs listed under Prime partners?

And also, if any of your Rescue Bots OCs have met High Tide, Quickshadow, Blurr, and Salvage, what do they think of them?

Hey! So sorry for such a late response to this! I had a reply in the works, but Tumblr ate it, so I’m gonna type it out again.

To start with the RBs;

There’s a possibility the OCs have met High Tide in passing. But I can certainly tell you, immediately off the bat, since I’ve heard that he goes full drill sergeant on the RB’s asses, Mintracer would not be fond in the slightest. Who does this mech think he is, bossing around his adoptive son, and second-creation? Oh yeah, and his son-in-law, too, but more focus on his precious Chase. >:(. The others, it depends, haven’t decided yet.

Blurr and Salvage, it also kinda depends, and I’d say they’re probably some of Blades’s classmates from the academy, given behavior, from what I’ve heard. Most likely, they may have met Blaze as classmates, and Mintracer as one of their teachers, but the others, who knows.

Quickshadow, yes, Mintracer, Flare, & Ember have certainly met her. Mintracer is neutral, but also not quite fond of her. Her history with Chase and Heatwave is… interesting. Flare and Ember wanted her to be something of a love interest to him; didn’t work. Heatwave doesn’t swing that way, and was already with Chase. Chase and Quickshadow just didn’t really… ‘work’, as anything more than classmates, if you feel? Quite possibly she was one of the students who barely held onto a C in his class, after pretty much the whole school base bombed that final essay; might’ve gone at Chase a little after, too, claiming favoritism in some form, since he was the only one got higher than a B-. Haven’t quite decided, but Mintracer wouldn’t be fond of this particular former student, and Flare and Ember have probably forgotten about her.

Now, on the Prime Partners; for context, this is to say partner more means ‘romantic’ partner, since that’s the relationship they each had with their respective partners. So, Elita would also be classified as one, and later on, Thunderclash as well. And further, in AU Canon Divergence, context: Solus is a TransMasc/FtM using He/Him pronouns and from a former sister planet known as Femmax, Amalgamous was the original Decepticon Leader way back when long before any of the main bunch were thought of, and Zeta is a separate person from Sentinel. So in order, from first to last so far;

Luma

Luma is Solus’s partner. She was a moon/night themed femme, that Sola met at some point when the two took a trip from Femmax to Cybertron, and the two became fast friends, and developed some feelings. Luma was quite possibly the most supportive person of Sola’s feelings regarding their gender, and was happy to adapt to new pronouns and a new name for them. They held quite a lot of trust between them, and lived together on Cybertron post-transition, in a relationship. Solus was adamant that he wanted Luma with him in the afterlife, so they both reside in the Hall of Primes, which started the trend.

Wintegreen

Wintegreen was Amalgamous’s conjux. They had a cross faction relationship, originally, since Amalgamous was a Decepticon - the Leader of that revolution, in fact! (Also the very proud holder of the title as The First/Original Autobot Fucker/Crossfaction Relationship Engagee) - and Wintegreen was some little nobody Autobot foot soldier. After lots of stress from the Autobots, and seducing and serenading from Amal, they decided they were done being an Autobot, and became a Decepticon, sitting on the throne with Amal. They ended up with two creations; the first one named ‘Thirteen’. They passed when the Autobots managed to unexpectedly siege the base, post-war/in the middle of Alchemist’s Reign. The four rest together, though their creations didn’t follow into the Hall with them, thought to have reincarnated.

Lilacwing

Lilacwing was Zeta’s… well, it’s complicated, but not to say they’re not in love! They just don’t know what to call it, because they weren’t necessarily official, but certainly accompanied and interacted with each other a whole lot more than just the Prime and Air Commander who happened to be ‘friends’. But they did have more than their fair share of nights on the couch with some shitty romance show going as background noise. Unfortunately in normal AU, they did pass, killed at some point though only Lilac recalls who, making way for Sentinel to be picked by the council.

However, in the ‘Line of Primacy AU’, they didn’t pass, but Zeta was forced to abstain a while, due to a situation popping up, and forced to give up the ‘pop up’ in his chamber, so they lived in his place, and after Sentinel fell, they came back into reign. After a while, eventually they found the little one they’d been forced to give up, and brought him home, with the little friend he was with, since they’d been left without anyone else to go to. Therefore creating the lineage, of Zeta and Optimus. And they ended up adopting Megs, and they love their silver swan, even if he does tend to forget they’re his adoptive parents every time he visits Iacon. No, Lilacwing did not carry Op. ;)

Tfa androidformers au

I don’t have too much fledged out atm, but the basic premise for tfa androidformers is that the reader works with Ratchet in an abandoned factory to fix and help deviated androids. Whether or not those androids stay is completely up to them, but the only other human(or so thought to be human) to know of the two’s operation is Sari. Her father, Professor Sumdac is unaware of this secret safe haven for androids, and works as the lead engineer at Cyberlife. As for the bots themselves, what I have so far is that Sentinel(SL1200), Elita(EA1000), and Optimus(OP1200) were finalized prototypes for a new type of advanced security android. Unfortunately, Elita was being sent off to a human who Optimus and Sentinel learned would secretly mistreat and even tear androids apart, only to put them back together in some sort of monstrosity, the former went against orders in an attempt to save her and was deemed deviant. Ratchet found Optimus before something horrid could happen to him, and brought him back to the reader. As for Sentinel, he struggled with joining Optimus in the rescue mission and sticking to his designated human, and in choosing to follow orders, he was not caught like Optimus. Sentinel is an absolute denial that he could ever be deviant, which is part of why he despises deviants so much. Bumblebee(BE1400) was a car racing android, but due to his strong desire to win he was decommissioned before his first real race. Bulkhead(BH1500) was a farming android with an unfortunate habit of breaking things, enraging his owner and getting nearly flattened to nothing by the farms giant tractor if not for a BE1400 android coming and accidentally saving his life in the attempts of an escape, to which he quickly joined in on. Prowl(PW600) was an android caught in the midst of trying to escape to an android friendly country with others, and barely managed to escape, winding up injured and found by a secret clan of androids that worked in helping other deviants. When the group leader had been killed, and the clan taken apart, Prowl found himself just barely escaping and on the run once again, but this time in the backyard of a very odd, but friendly human which was the reader.
