Miko is terrified of bugs, especially spiders, because she thinks they're creepy and gross
Jack is terrified of bugs, especially spiders, because Arachnid.
Raf thinks they're creepy but isn't really scared of them unless they're on his leg or something
Ratchet nearly has a spark attack when Raf tells him how damn expensive his glasses are, which then brings June into a whole rant about expensive medical situations and needs
cue Ratchet being absolutely flabbergasted
Miko draws on the walls of the base, no one can stop her
a bit angsty, but I was also thinking of Bulkhead having some sort of digital collection of all the drawings Miko made for him when he leaves :(
Ratchet is the only person who's seen Optimus break down
i've debated if Jack could also see Optimus falter, maybe accidentally stumbling upon him somewhere in the base
i thought that Jack would be the most concerned and understanding, but honestly i think any of the humans in the group would be that way
Bumblebee has dreams he can talk sometimes, and when he wakes up there's a split second where he believes his voice box is fixed
Fowler snores really fucking loud
i also think June and Fowler would be a sweet couple, they start dating
Miko and like everyone else predicted this for a long while
Arcee thinks Smokescreen is an absolute buffoon but comes to see him as a younger brother

It would be funny if the au just takes the same storyline as the show but just change some background and characters design. Imagine if the base is by the cliff near the sea, my man Fowler would’ve been the first guy who jump and swim down there where the mermaid autobots are lmao

You know what would have been funny in tfp? If Fowler referred to Ratchet as Optimus’s husband and vice versa. “Prime what climbed up your husbands tailpipe today?” “Ratchet tell your husband that putting himself in danger is not going to fix anything.” “Prime your husbands walking over and he looks like he’s on a mission.” “Ratchet you should get back to base before your husband blows his top.” “Prime personally I would let your husband fuss over you… You look like you got hit by a cargo plane.”
The best part was if they thought that “husband” meant “good friends” or something like that lol Until Raf finally asks if their married Raf: Are you guys married? Ratchet: Married? Raf: Uh it’s a formally and legal union of two people in a romantic relationship. Optimus: Why do you ask…? Raf: Because husband is the term for the male partner or partners in a marriage. Insert flustered robots

Okay I’ve talked about my reverse!tfp au where the humans are cybertronians while the robots are human and I can’t stop thinking about Bulkhead, Arcee, and Bumblebee getting the kids car accessories.
Arcee should get Jack fuzzy pink dice and hand them somewhere in his altmode that when he transforms he can’t reach them. Just to mess with him. She wouldn’t go overboard with the accessories and would just get him an air freshener or something.
Miko is a different case. She would beg Bulkhead to get her as much accessories as possible. I’d imagine she’d love a way to further express her identity and her individuality with trying to get pink and purple seats and wheels. Though he draws the line at getting her decals considering they are the equivalent of tattoos for them.
Raf would like the video game key chains Bumblebee gets him to hang on his rear-view mirror. Like Arcee he doesn’t go over the top with it but would place a sticker on his door just a simple bumblebee one. For branding purposes of course.
When Fowler joined he’d 100% be against getting accessories. He didn’t want those human knickknacks on his frame. They have fighting to do.

Some lil headcanon stuff for Torque lmao (ft team prime)
↳ Optimus and Ratchet are conjunxs, tho initially just Bumblebee and Torque knew as they are really private about it. They are really private about Bumblebee and Torque being their sparklings too (a bit more difficult with Torque since she really looks like Ratchet but they played it off as a coincidence. Somehow it worked for a while) The main reason for their secrecy is because they fear the decepticons will take advantage of both these informations. Team Prime eventually figured it out tho.
(how sparklings work in my au [completely Sfw and asexual])
↳ Her Alt mode is an ambulance. Sometimes she uses her holoform as well
(This is Torque’s holoform + Ratchet’s)
↳ Torque really likes human music, any kind. Her first introduction to it happened when she got stranded alone for years before she got reunited with the team. The only signal she could pick up was a radio station’s one and to help take her mind off everything and combat the solitude she started listening to it while she scavanged for supplies or tried to find a way to contact other autobots. She picked up the habit of quietly humming along to whatever song there was, and it continued even when she arrived at the base.
She sometimes hums along when Miko happens to play her guitar at base too.
↳ Torque and Bumblebee sometimes switch places with Ratchet when they have patrol with Optimus so him and Ratchet can spend a bit of time together without interruptions. They are aware their creators are busy and often don’t have the time to do much of anything together so thats their way to help them get a bit of that time off and they offer to take on a few task to convince them to take the day off (for example Torque offers to take on Ratchet’s tasks and Bumblebee to take on an extra patrols)
↳ Most of she’s pretty friendly and cheerful but she can be very blunt at times and takes after Ratchet in some aspects.
↳ She goes along well with the team, tho she didn’t at first with Smokescreen. Being a medic like Ratchet (even tho in training she still goes to help fix and weld together injuries of the team as she is literally one of the two medics left) she saw her fair share of horrors in the battlefield and she genuinely got annoyed every time he talked about how cool it was fighting and stuff because she saw it from a medic standpoint: just a senseless spilling of energon. She eventually warmed up to him however and they became friends
She didn’t go super along with Ultra Magnus at first either
Referring to at the beginning of ep 9 season 3, the tone in which he spoke to the team kinda pissed her off, that’s when she threw a quick “you did not just use that tone” glare at him. She knows he meant well but she really didn’t like how he said all that. It felt low-key disrespectful to her
↳ Torque doesn’t fully believe decepticons can change but she doesn’t discard the possibility. Except for Megatron. She despises the guy for what he did to her brother and if she could punch him in his faceplate she would.
↳ She rarely argues with her creators, even less so with her brother
The only time she argued with Optimus it was when he decided to stay behind when the base was blown up and she argued with Ratchet when he tested the Synth-En on himself
She argued with Bumblebee when he went on patrol when he didn’t have his t-cog and put himself in danger
In all 3 occasions, she was more worried than mad
↳ Torque goes along pretty alright with Jack and Miko tho she does find Miko’s tendency to jump into the groundbridge worrying.
She goes along really well with Raf and she’s happy to answer any questions he has about Cybertron when Ratchet is too busy and Bumblebee is on patrols
She goes along enough with Fowler and June, sometimes she asks June how human medicine works
↳ Her mask and visor originally had a medical function, they were to deal with contagious viruses (such as cybonic plague), but she uses them more when fighting.
(Tw, light mentions of tortur€)
↳ Torque can’t feel pain. When she was taken by decepticons back on Cybertron, before she managed to escape with the escape pod she was tortured for information so badly that her pain sensors got damaged severely.
Because of that she can’t feel if she is critically injured in a fight and continues on until she just drops and doesn’t feel the discomfort of needing to refuel so she most of the times forgets and often runs low on energon.
Optimus is very careful in sending her in missions because of these reasons and Ratchet is trying to fix the damage but so far was unable too.
The team took first notice of this, or at least Optimus and Ratchet did, in the aftermath of the scraplet incident (she went with Arcee and Optimus in the artic but when she was back she didn’t appear to be suffering like Arcee or Optimus even being in the same condition)
+ bonus doodle of Torque being very pissed off
#i very much don’t know if the last one is plausible but let’s pretend it is lol#tfp torque#torque tfp#tfp oc#transformers oc#transformers prime oc#transformers prime#ratchet tfp#bumblebee tfp#tfp smokescreen#tfp miko#tfp raf#optimus prime tfp#tfp optimus prime#tfp ratchet#tfp megatron#tfp#tfp jack#tfp kids#tfp ultra magnus#optimus prime#ratchet#bumblebee#megatron#team prime#tfp fowler#tfp june darby#ratchop#optiratch#conjunx endura

Raf's Notes as originally presented on The Hub's website.
TRANSMITTING FROM INSIDE AUTOBOT HEADQUARTERS
What if you could have secret access to the Autobots' base, getting the inside scoop on their latest missions and battles with the Decepticons? Well, that's Raf! He's got full access to all things Autobots, and he's taking notes.
We've gained access to his laptop, so now you can peek over his shoulder and see what's really happening behind the scenes. (Just don't tell him we gave you the secret password, or he might hack our system.) Check out Raf's Notes every week -- EXCLUSIVELY--here on HubWorld.com!
THE NOTES SO FAR
Gotta keep track of all of this ACTION! This is my stash of all my entries--super-encrypted so that Megatron and his boys (or Agent Fowler) can't get to the goods!
ENTRY # 1
This Is NOT a Diary!
OK, not sure where to start, since a LOT has happened, but I figure I better take notes, cuz ... well, let's just say, life's been pretty different lately. And I want to remember as much as possible, cuz if someone else said all this happened to him, no way would I believe it. I'm saving these notes as a triple-encrypted file in my laptop, so no one will ever see them. I'd do hex-encryption, but who has the time?
AUTOBOTS!!!
Where was I? OK. Autobots. My life hasn't been the same since I met them. They're these huge autonomous robotic life-forms who came to Earth to protect us from these other huge guys called Decepticons. Optimus Prime is the leader of the good guys, and Megatron is the really bad Bad Guy. (Except they used to be friends ... but that was a REALLY long time ago.)
They're all after this stuff called Energon, which is kinda like food and gas and blood and electricity all mixed into one. (Note to self : Eww.) They used to live on a planet called Cybertron, but they destroyed it by fighting for, like, forever. Optimus says he's trying to make sure that doesn't happen to Earth next. They've been here in secret for a while, but since me and these other kids Jack and Miko accidentally saw them and discovered their secret, they're protecting us ... in case the Cons come after us.
Bumblebee's my buddy. Mostly cuz I'm the only kid who understands him. Not sure why ... he makes perfect sense. He just doesn’t use words. Might be the same reason I could understand digital code, even when I was three years old. Anyway, most people talk too much. Best thing? Bee's an awesome muscle car, and he’s my friend.
Arcee is Jack's partner, and Bulkhead watches out for Miko. I guess I should point out that Jack and Miko go to my school, and normally we'd never even talk. But lately, nothing's normal, so the three of us hang out at the secret Autobot base a LOT. It's awesome, cuz they have the sickest computers and other way-cool tech.
My mom asked where I was going after school all the time, so I told her I joined the Computer Club. Which is kinda true.
ENTRY #2
The Bigger They Are....
Woah, what a week! Looks like Megatron, the main Decepticon, went down for good this week, out in space. Lucky for Earth! Most of us felt like cheering, but not Optimus. He never likes it when a spark gets extinguished, no matter whose. A spark is like a Bot's life spirit, more or less.
Game Over?
After that, we were all thinking Game Over. No more Megatron, no more trouble. So we got busy with our science fair projects. I have to say, it was pretty cool getting science help from the Bots. They have so much data to work with, and all that amazing hardware.
But it never stays quiet for long around here. Optimus and Bee went to go check out a blip on the Energon grid. It's how they keep track of all the Bots and Cons everywhere -- like a radar screen for the whole universe. They figured it was probably Cons, but had no idea who or what they were headed for. But soon as they saw Skyquake, it was like -- GO time.
Turns out these other Cons, Starscream and Soundwave, had come to Earth just to find and reanimate this massive guy. Bee said Skyquake made Optimus look small! Even worse, his whole mission was to destroy Optimus, under ancient orders from Megatron. They'd faced off on Cybertron before, but that was forever ago.
Bigger AND Badder!
Thing is, big as Skyquake was, he wasn't as swift as the Bots. Our guys had him down and pretty much out.. until good old Agent Fowler came along in a plane. Skyquake scanned the plane, and then it was ON again. But, then snap -- the GUY BECAME THE PLANE!!! (btw, scanning sounds awesome. Like instant cloning.) Wish I'd seen that!
Anyway, in the end, our guys nailed Skyquake, and his spark went out. Huge relief in some ways, but Optimus was sad again ... he always hopes he can bring the bad guys around to being good.
Meanwhile, Ratchet seriously messed with my volcano project for Science Fair. I will NOT let him help again. I had to stay late at school and try to repair the Energon damage in the auditorium. Which took more than a little explaining.
ENTRY #3
Scraplets Scare!
OMG. What an insane week! We had a Scraplet infestation at the base. Imagine raccoon-sized termites wired on too much coffee! Or zombie dogs on candy! Or ... well, I'll explain.
It all started when Bumblebee and Bulkhead were scouting for Energon in the Arctic. They found this big metal egg/pod thing and brought it back for examination. No one knew what it was. But by the time it thawed, it was too late!
Here's what happened: Once the pod thing was in the lab, Optimus and Arcee went back to the Arctic for more recon while Bee and Bulkhead thawed out. Turns out they get frostbite too, almost like us. Miko and Jack were playing a video game ... and since there's only two controllers, I was like, No, you go ahead. (Mr. Nice Guy. As usual.) So I was just hanging near the lab when I saw the first Scraplet.
It was kinda cute, for a bot. It was like ... well, like a dog, like I said. But a friendly dog. They only eat metal, see, not organic material -- so when it saw me, it was like: "Hmmm. Not tasty."
But then it followed me back to the main area and BAM! It attacked Bee like mad. I had to smash it with a pipe to make it stop. Bulkhead seriously freaked. Never seen him like that before. And then we knew it was an infestation. There were like HUNDREDS of them, all inside the walls, chewing up the pipes and cables! Which explained the Comm-Link and power failures. Optimus and Arcee were out there freezing, but Ratchet couldn’t activate the GroundBridge to bring them in.
Since us kids weren't Scraplet food, we went to fix the hole in the Energon pipeline -- just in time, too. It was scary, but way more scary for the Bots. For once, WE got to protect THEM! It was cool and all, but still ... I'd rather not do it again.
I'm not so much the Protector type. More the Defensive Crouch type. Still ... it's good to know I can work it if I have to.
ENTRY #4
Don't Judge a Bot by Its Cover
I learned something new about Decepticons this week. Something huge happened -- a Bot made contact with us! Wheeljack. He's an old friend of Bulkhead's ... this big soldier Bot guy who just roams the universe solo. Or that's who he was supposed to be.
But I'm getting ahead of myself.
It started when we got a friendly Bot signal from deep space this week. Bulkhead was psyched to see it was Wheeljack, cuz they used to be best buds, back in this elite fighting unit called the Wreckers. (Sounds like a reality show, right?) When he showed up, we kinda had a party. They played this game called "lobbing" which is basically playing catch with the biggest things they can find. Miko jammed on her guitar (I think she may be getting better), and I showed Bee how to do the Robot. It was awesome.
But then Bulkhead started getting suspicious, cuz he said Wheeljack wasn't acting like himself. Turns out it wasn't Wheeljack at all! It was just a Decepticon pretending to be the real Wheeljack, who was imprisoned up on the Nemesis -- that's the Cons' ship.
That's right! We actually had a REAL LIVE CON inside the base!!! Gives me chills just thinking about it. Bet Miko gets worse chills -- when Bulkhead blew the Con's cover, he took her hostage. She was pretty cool under pressure, I gotta say.
Anyway, thanks to some quick thinking and awesome fighting, we got the real Wheeljack back. He actually busted out of the Nemesis himself! Way cool. So then we had another party. For reals. We all kinda thought Wheeljack would stay, and we'd have another Bot here on Earth ... but he took off soon as Ratchet fixed up his ship. Everyone was bummed that he left.
Bots aren't always what they seem. Maybe that's true about people too. That's why I like computers! Cuz you can always just reprogram. Simple. Elegant. No surprises.
ENTRY #5
One Laptop, Over Easy
Whole new thing this week. The Bots had to fight humans AND Cons!
Agent Fowler was taking this radioactive device called a Dingus across the country when Cons attacked him. That's what he thought, anyway. So he asked the Autobots to GroundBridge it out of danger, but it's too risky to transport radioactive devices that way. So Optimus and the other Autobots had to roll out and form a convoy to take it over land.
I stayed at the Base with Ratchet and watched everything on the grid via Comm-Link. The attackers were in fast attack cars and totally harassing the V-mode Bots. That's when we found out they weren't Cons at all -- they were humans working for a crew called MECH. Then, as if being chased by a bunch of heavily armed flesh and blood criminals wasn't enough, six Cons showed up out of the blue.
We had to protect the Dingus, so I got to hack into the rail system and divert a train. Highlight of my week -- GroundBridging Jack and Miko onto a moving train! Ratchet didn't think it was possible, but I got the train's coordinates online and zzzoom -- off they went! But then MECH hacked into the same system -- and they fried my laptop! Not sure how, but major bummer. Good thing my files were backed up.
I guess Miko and Jack were pretty freaked by how serious it got on that train. It almost derailed, and Optimus had to stop it with his bare hands. Kinda wish I'd been there. But mostly? Glad I wasn't. Not that I'd say that out loud.
Optimus was bummed, cuz the Bots blew their cover in front of MECH when they transformed to fight the Decepticons. And we're all pretty sure MECH will be back. But at least the Dingus didn't blow up or get stolen.
After all that, Ratchet sort of helped me fix my laptop ... even though he kept saying how lame it was. Well, now I've gotta figure out a better firewall. Still can't believe I got counter-hacked! Very embarrassing, actually. Hoping everyone forgets really soon.
:)
ENTRY #6
Breaking and Energon
This week, we got to break into a museum! But it was for a good reason.
It all started when the Autobots saw an Energon blip on the grid over in Greece. Bulkhead was trying to help Miko see how homework can be cool, so he took her with him to Greece. So there they were at these excavations, when they found a mosaic showing an ancient Cybertronian Energon Harvester. Pretty unexpected!
Miko took a snap and showed it to Optimus, who said the mosaic was a signpost for the real thing. So I did a quick image search online and found this ancient Greek statue on display in a regular museum. We knew the Decepticons were after it, so we had to snag it first ... which meant breaking into the museum. Like Optimus said: We were only breaking a law to save lives.
Here's why lives were at stake: Not only can a Harvester suck Energon out of the ground -- it can pull it right out of a living Autobot! That'd be like a vampire sucking all the blood out of you just by pointing at you. No way did Optimus want the Cons getting that thing.
So we planned this total heist, like in the movies -- only with a forklift and us kids. It would've worked, too, but then these Cons Breakdown and Knock Out showed up, and there was a massive Bot brawl in the parking lot.
During the fight, Jack and I came face-to-face with Soundwave in the museum! That is one scary guy. But he was so focused on the Harvester, he left us alone. Lucky!
The Autobots were bummed he'd snagged it, but they eventually got it back over in Greece. Took more fighting, and Bulkhead lost some Energon, but it worked out.
Oh, and Miko got caught by a museum guard, but for once Agent Fowler was pretty cool. He came in, flashed his badge, and then just sent her on her way. Like, Yo, there's Bulkhead. Go.
I guess we have friends in high places now.
ENTRY #7
Playing the Race Car
Wild week. Jack pretty much got everyone in trouble, but gotta say ... we were all kinda responsible. Mostly cuz we didn't really step up and help him resist temptation. Optimus wasn't happy with any of us.
According to Jack, it all started when this girl at school asked if she could have a ride on Arcee. Of course, Arcee was like no way, that's against the rules, and it's not happening. But then this dumb bully from school who drives a street racer talked some smack about Arcee -- I think he called her a moped?! -- and she was like, OK, that's it. (She takes that kind of thing personally.) So she and Jack smoked him right there. The bully guy wanted a rematch, but Arcee said nope -- we're not breaking the rules again.
So here's where I came in. Jack didn't want to look like a chicken in front of that girl (he likes her!), so he asked if Bee would help him win the race. That didn't seem like a good idea to me, but I'm all for taking down a bully. And besides, Bee was really into the racing part. So he and Jack showed up at the race. But then ... so did a Decepticon! It was one of the car Cons we saw at the museum ... Knock Out? Anyway, as soon as he saw Bee, the Con got violent. Bee said it was scary. And Jack couldn't understand what Bee was saying, so it was like total chaos.
It's weird: We all basically broke the rules and then, boom -- the worst-case scenario happened. What were we thinking? Optimus totally went out and tracked everyone down and saved the day ... but he wasn't happy about it. Then he gave us all a serious talking to. Sounds corny, but I think we all learned our lessons.
In the end, Arcee did let Jack give that cute girl a ride ... and now he won?t stop talking about the girl. Or about Arcee.
ENTRY #8
Bugging Out
Jack and Arcee had a wicked time out in the forest this week. They were looking for an Energon signature, but turns out the blip was this super-creepy Decepticon called Airachnid. (Like "arachnid," which means spider.) She has eight limbs, spits webbing, and likes to hunt. Creepy! I wasn't there, so all I have to go on is what Jack said, but sounds like it got super hairy out there.
He says he's never seen Arcee that afraid before, and it's cuz she has history with Airachnid from back on Cybertron. She wouldn't give him deets, but it must've been bad for a Bot that fierce to get that scared. And her Comm-Link wouldn't work, so she couldn't call the Base for backup.
Jack ended up running, since Airachnid was actually hunting him! She travels the universe looking for different species to add to her "collection." Kinda like a big game hunter. I think hunting's gross enough already, without humans being the prey. Too bad she didn't land her ship in the middle of one of those controlled hunts, where people "hunt" captive lions and tigers. Yeah, that's a fair fight.
Anyway, Jack was pretty swift. He tried setting traps, which didn't work, but then he actually went into her spaceship and started a fire in her ship?s leaking engine thrusters. That messed her up just enough to let Arcee get up on her. Then Airachnid just fled. Took off. Adios.
Arcee's been quiet since they got back. Big and tough as they are, I forget how vulnerable Autobots can be. Bumblebee says she's not talking to him either. Not sure what she's going through -- and I'm not asking -- but she and Optimus took a couple long drives this week.
OTOH, Jack's all puffed up now, cuz Arcee finally started calling him her "partner." Miko keeps reminding him he's just a kid, but seeing what he just went through, I'm OK with letting him feel whatever he wants. Not that he wants to know what I think.
Anyway, I feel like we're all partners here.
ENTRY #9
Inside Megatron's Mind
I don't know what was a bigger deal this week -- Optimus Prime nearly losing his spark, which was huge, or Bumblebee going INSIDE Megatron's mind. Yes, INSIDE it! And we thought that guy's spark WAS out.
Here's how it started... Out on a recon mission with Ratchet, Optimus Prime caught Cybonic Plague, a deadly virus Megatron invented on Cybertron. It looked like he was a goner. But Jack figured that if Megatron invented it, he must have invented an antidote too. Luckily, the Nemesis's cloaking tech was down, so Ratchet was able to bridge Arcee and Bumblebee up to the enemy ship to search out the cure.
But they couldn't find it, so Ratchet said they'd have to enter Megatron's mind through a Cortical-Psychic patch -- using Decepticon medical tech. Arcee was like "Are you out of your fragging mind?!" but then 'Bee volunteered to enter Megatron's mind. I was proud... and terrified.
Us kids stayed at the Base, of course, but we got to see literally inside Megatron's twisted mind through a comm-link. That guy is wacked out. I translated for Jack and Miko while Bumbleee scouted -- and then Bee met Megatron in the guy's own unconscious -- and totally stood up to him -- IN HIS OWN BRAIN! He even outsmarted him by saying that if the plague virus destroyed Optimus, Megatron would never get to do it himself. Which Megatron -- whose fantasies are all about obliterating Optimus -- totally bought.
So Ratchet grabbed the antidote formula via comm-link, and our Autobot pals bridged back. Optimus is fine now, but Bee is acting a little strange. Spending time inside such a sick mind must leave some weird aftereffects. Hope he feels better soon!
ENTRY #10
Out of My Comfort Zone
Up on the Nemesis, Megatron snuck into Bee's brain using the same Cortical-Psychic patch that Bee used to get into his. Then he hijacked Bumblebee. What a nightmare. To think we actually had Megatron inside the Base! Good thing he was more into getting revenge against Starscream than infiltrating our systems and defenses. He did nearly nail Bulkhead with a metal basketball, but that didn’t seem so weird at the time somehow.
But I should have known what was up when Bee forgot to pick me up for school.
Funny. The base's defenses are all physical, and Megatron exploited the groundbridge using kind of a mindbridge. Well, never judge a 'Bot by its cover.
The scariest part of all was watching Bumblebee's mind struggling to control his own body. I knew he wouldn’t let Megatron hurt me. At least, that's what I hoped. So in a way, by forcing Bumblebee to stay focused on me, I was our best defense against Megatron. And it worked.
Wow. I stood up to Megatron. I’d do anything to save Bumblebee ... and that's pretty much what I did. Went waaaay out of my comfort zone to help my buddy. But hey. We're family. We were tight before, but we're even tighter now.
ENTRY #11
Zoned Out
This week, Miko got us kids into big trouble. As in, Terrorcon-sized.
It all started when the Autobots rolled out, and Miko made a break for the Groundbridge! Me and Jack tried to stop her, but we got pulled in too.
The Bots thought they'd found Megatron trying to raise more dead Decepticons (Miko calls 'em "zombie Cons"). But it was actually Starscream. He fired a missile and almost hit us. Yikes! Then Optimus shot off Starscream's arm.
Something went wonky when the Autobots 'bridged us back. We stayed put, but they couldn't see us. It's like we were ghosts. Creepy. Ratchet said we'd gotten sent to the wrong place, but I realized we really went into a different dimension. A shadow zone. Never figured I could think quicker than an Autobot. I was pretty proud of myself! And pretty terrified.
Worst part? Miko got her zombie Con: This massive Terrorcon called Skyquake was with us in the Shadowzone. Wow, I can run a LOT when I have to!
Starscream's arm was in the Shadowzone too. I figured out how to launch its missile. (More pride. More terror.) We actually knocked off Skyquake's arm ... but the ARM CHASED US TOO! It was like, game over. Thankfully, the Autobots 'bridged us out.
Miko actually told Optimus it was her fault! Jack was like, can you repeat that about a million times? But I was remembering how we three had to work together to escape. What if she HAD gone in by herself?
Scary thought. Weird to say I'm glad I was there, but ... I guess sometimes being in the worst place is the best place you can be.
ENTRY #12
Nervous Breakdown
You'd never expect Bulkhead to say no to a rescue mission. But this week, he told Optimus he wasn't gonna do it, no way no how. Not even for the "greater good."
I get it. The Autobots were rolling out to save a Decepticon. How weird is that? And the Con in question was Breakdown -- Bulkhead's archenemy.
I wasn't there, but I got the deets from Bumblebee and Miko. Bulkhead and Breakdown were having a smackdown, and Bulk got pretty messed up. (Note to self: Never ask Miko if Bulkhead was LOSING, 'specially when I'm in arm-punching range. Ouch.) Then those spooky techie guys from MECH showed up and captured Breakdown. Optimus knew it could be bad for humankind if MECH learned the secrets of Cybertronian biology.
Amazingly, Optimus was OK with Bulkhead flat-out refusing the mission. But not Miko! She acted super-angry about it, but I knew she must've really been massively disappointed. Either way, she talked him into going. How? She said, "No rescue, no REMATCH!" Yeah, they totally speak the same language.
I almost wish I'd seen Bulkhead and Breakdown team up. Except, 'Bee said Starscream and his troopers showed up, so I'm glad I didn't. Starscream creeps me out.
Anyway, pretty soon Bulkhead and Breakdown were back to fighting. But Optimus was proud that Bulkhead rescued his rival. Strange but true: Sometimes you can be totally selfish and still end up serving the "greater good."
Pretty sure Miko was just glad Bulkhead got his rematch -- and won it!
ENTRY #13
Mom Meets MECH
OMG HUGE NEWS! This week, Jack's mom found out about the Autobots! She even came to HQ with him and Arcee.
Me and Miko couldn't even believe it when we saw them riding into base. But by then Jack's mom had been through so much, meeting Autobots was practically no big deal.
I mean, no big deal compared to being KIDNAPPED by MECH and webbed-up high on a ledge by Airachnid, who I guess was working with those techie soldier guys. Silas, MECH's leader, didn't even care about hurting Jack or his mom. He just wanted to get ahold of Arcee. The Autobots would never harm anyone for their own gain. Does that make them more "human" than Silas?
Anyway, Jack's voice got kinda shaky when he told us how Airachnid and Silas made him race against time to save his mom -- alone, while MECH was trying to take Arcee apart. Scariest! Can't even think about it.
Good thing Jack's smart (don't tell him I said that) -- and tricky. He tipped off Agent Fowler, but Airachnid and MECH got away. I can only imagine how upset Arcee must be ... no way am I actually gonna ASK her.
Jack said Airachnid scanned Agent Fowler's helicopter and used it for her new vehicle mode. Now she can travel under the ground OR in the sky. Great. Just what we needed.
It's been tough to keep the Autobots a secret. But Jack really didn't have a choice. Family's more important than secrets, and his mom is all the family he's got. Well, except for me, Miko, and the Autobots.
ENTRY #14
Stuck With It
Sticky situations this week! The Autobots had a close encounter with a weird magnetic weapon -- and we all got stuck with Jack's mom.
Remember last week, when she found out about the Autobots? I kinda thought she'd just tour the base and leave. But she started hanging around, like, every day. Jack's pretty used to his mom worrying about him, but Miko's totally bugged about how things have changed.
It IS weird. Ms. Darby makes us feel kind of embarrassed or something, like we have to explain what we're up to. Everything's awkward, instead of fun. But I still felt bad when Miko said that Arcee's as bad as Jack's mom -- just cuz Arcee sent Miko back to base to keep her safe.
I mean, it WAS dangerous when Arcee and Bulkhead took on Airachnid and Breakdown over this "Polarity Gauntlet" thing. It makes metal stuff stick together -- metal stuff like, well, Arcee and Bulkhead. They got unstuck, but Airachnid and Breakdown got away with the gauntlet. Ratchet seems to think it could be a game-changer -- and not for our side. That makes me pretty nervous.
But what's that thing people say? Change is constant, right? I guess it doesn't have to be bad. But this thing with Jack's mom is still gonna take some getting used to.
ENTRY #15
A Hard Place
Seems like Jack and Miko always get to be in the middle of the action! But this week, I really didn't mind. I mean, would YOU want to be stuck in a massive cave-in with Starscream AND Megatron? Yeah, no way.
Jack actually came face-to-face with Megatron! Even trapped under tons of rocks, that guy is ultra-terrifying. Can't believe Megatron dared Jack to finish him off. Jack said he was really tempted to take a shot, but he knew Optimus wouldn't want him to destroy a helpless opponent. Not even the baddest Decepticon ever. Optimus was proud of Jack for that. Me too.
But wow, poor Miko. She and Bulkhead were in a bad sitch when Jack found them -- with Starscream. Miko was totally dealing, as usual ... until Bulk made Jack get her out of there. Jack said she got so worried about Bulkhead, she was CRYING. Still trying to picture that. Kind of sweet that she cares about the big guy so much. Not that I'd actually TELL her that. Hmm, hope she never sees this!
Anyway, at least they all got out OK -- except Starscream and Megatron. Even Optimus drew the line at actually digging them out. Maybe they'll stay buried ... at least for a while.
ENTRY #16
Split Decision
A Decepticon, changing sides? No way, right? Especially not Starscream. That doesn't even make sense, but this week it almost happened. Sort of.
Us kids stayed behind when the Autobots rolled out to track a Decepticon signal. Good thing too, since Airachnid totally ambushed them with this weapon that freezes Bots in their tracks. Cool part was, Bumblebee got to be the hero. Airachnid stopped Optimus AND Bulkhead, but my buddy faked her out and saved the day. Sweet!
Anyway, about Starscream. The Autobots found him in one of Airachnid's webs, and he completely shocked them by asking to JOIN them! Sounds like a trick, right? And I guess it was. But you know Optimus. He wants to believe that anyone can change, even Starscream.
Pretty sure Arcee didn't give a scrap about redemption when she figured out Starscream's the one who snuffed Cliffjumper, her old partner. She nearly extinguished his spark! But Bumblebee stopped her. I couldn't see why getting rid of Starscream would be so bad, till 'Bee explained that acting out of revenge only makes us weaker. Cuz it's not right.
But I get why Arcee lost it. If anything ever happened to Bumblebee, I'd feel just as awful ... and just as mad. It reminds me again that Autobots are more like us than we think. Even they have to learn stuff the hard way sometimes.

Crack idea: After TFP there still are Shenanigans going on earth that the kids want to take on involving leftover Cybertronian artifacts/Cons/etc. They end up finding a brooding Megatron and Miko is bullying him back to base because come on you gotta do Something with your life now old man!
Fowler is NOT keen on having him around. The GOVERNMENT is aware of his crimes after all.
Miko: Ah, but this isn't Megatron! It's his twin brother, Galvatron!
Fowler: . . . [Throws hands up]
SDFSFSFA I KNEW HE EXILED HIMSELF BUT IT'D BE HILARIOUS IF HE EXILED HIMSELF *BACK* TO EARTH
That had to be such a moment when they first round him after he came back
This could be so funny😭😭😭

Smokescreen with a human who's the human about the equivalent of his age (probs about early to mid 20s) who he's basically openly dating but no one really cares because it's the middle of a war and as long as it keeps him out of trouble.
The only ones really concerned are Ultra Magnus and June (she might find Optimus to be quite fine, but dating a bot especially as chaotic as smokey seems like a bad idea). The kids treat it as perfectly normal and even tease them a bit, agent Fowler was weirded out for one minute then remembered he wasn't getting paid enough to care.
After Ratchet actually realizes they're fragging he gives them the longest Sex-ed talk of the century
Lmao this would work quite well. Neither of them have their shit together, and this relationship is definitely helping keep Smokescreen in line.
At this point I think that Ratchet would give them a 3 hour and a half lecture even before they fuck. He watches them get cozy together and makes the responsible but no less humiliating decision to research human reproduction until he concludes they can safely frag. Oh and give them the most awkward birds and the bees talk of the century.
Fowler overhears it and has to contend with even more forbidden knowledge than he wants

Oh god, the discussion in the Autobot command room in SIC!Orion when they get the news. It's going to be eight or nine different kinds of mess, particularly if the humans are also present and trying to wrap their heads around this whole thing. Ratchet is probably the most resigned to it, just because- yeah, he should've seen something like this coming, he just never imagined Megatron would go for it.
Oh yes it is very much going to be a mess when the rest of the team finds out that Op is second in command. And the only one who knew about this fact was Ratchet.
Arcee: "Ratchet they got Optimus playing second in command."
Ratchet: "Again?"
Fowler: "what do you mean by again.
Miko: " This thing happened before!?"
Ya he never thought Megatron was going to make him his second in command, after it backfired the first time.
"We need to get Optimus out of there now."

What if....Smokescreen became a Prime in S3?
(Stealing slightly from MiniKoontzy's Fire of Youth fanfic, but also just trying to make it my own. Also, pretend with me that Breakdown lived, joined the 'Bots, and maybe Dreadwing remains alive with the 'Cons for now.)
First of all, Optimus would likely die somewhere between part four and five, and Smokescreen has to quickly hold off on his grief (after a bit of tears and sobs) when Optimus appears in a vision to encourage him to take the Matrix, as he has been deemed worthy by the Matrix and the Thirteen (also note, mixing and matching canon a bit here on out.)
Smokescreen does as he's told, but is forced to undergo some painful upgrades to better combat the threats facing his team. Coming to after being upgraded by the Primes, he finds that he's as tall as S3 Optimus was with slightly less muscle, and when on solid ground again discovers he has a unique beast alt mode: a dragon with the flexible and aquatic capable body of a tiger, the wings of an eagle, serrated claws on his paws, wolf-like teeth, and a whip thin tail with a small clutter of spikes at the end. Onyx quickly fills him in on his new abilities - namely that he can fly faster than any human jet, was given strength enough to combat Megatron and the Predacon, blue fire-breath, and the ability to ignite himself with blue flames to heal/better defend himself.
After getting the flying maneuvers down with Onyx's aid, Smokescreen - now called Antares Prime - takes off for Darkmount, his grief and rage (like the rest of his personality, having been strengthened and increased) now bordering on animalistic. It takes his own effort as well as that of Optimus and Onyx's to keep himself from killing Megatron right away, though he finds himself feeling marginally better when he and Ultra Magnus bring down the tower.
Once returned to Hanger E, Antares feels uncertainty and fear gnaw at him as he stands just on the edge outside of the building in 'Bot mode. He sees them all - Ratchet, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Arcee, Breakdown, Wheeljack, Magnus, and even his old former classmate and best friend, Red Alert - but aside from Red, Breakdown, Bulkhead, and Wheeljack, he feels isolated. Alone.
When questioned by the senior medic, who quickly deduces the identity of the new Prime, Antares informs them all of what happened: How Optimus remained behind and he went back for him, how he desperately tried to preserve his life, how he'd gotten the Forge of Solus Prime, how he was too late to save him, and how the Matrix chose him as Optimus' successor. He waits, holding his breath, watching for their reactions.
Arcee is the one who loses it.
She practically howls at him, that Optimus chose the rookie to replace him, that he didn't move fast enough, that he should've done more, or even died instead of Optimus. Antares makes no move, feeling guilty of every conviction she throws against him, until memories from the Matrix surface as Onyx's wrath and remembrance surge forward into Antares' mental vision -
He sees Arcee disobey Optimus and nearly cost Fowler his life. He sees the results of both her actions and Jack's, and how Vince - whom Smokescreen had twice playfully pranked to get even for Jack and teach the bully a lesson in humility - was nearly captured and killed because of her pride. He sees Optimus attempt in vain time after time to stop her and get her to listen about seeking revenge against Airachnid.
Antares sees it all...and he doesn't know how much of the wrath he feels is his or Onyx's.
He silences the two-wheeler and all who are trying to stop her with a swing of his arm and a bellowed, "SELFISH HYPOCRITE!!"
All voices cease, and as righteous fury burns in his stomach, Antares feels his body ignite with flame. Realizing his anger, hearing Optimus' pleas and heeding his own desire for peace, he just as quickly snaps his arm back to his chest, clutching the limb as steam pours off of his frame.
Hissing, reigning in the temper that has so uncharacteristically taken him over, Antares manages to regain control before glaring at Arcee.
But his blue eyes glow with fire, and another voice seems to speak alongside his own:
"You claimed for months I was a risk to Jack Darby's safety, and a tactical liability. Yet all I did was attempt to bring some form of good performance on the field to the team, and even as overzealous and thoughtless as I was, I never once disobeyed Optimus. And the one time I did, I did so for his sake rather than my own. I watched him creep ever closer to death, helpless to do anything but ease his pain and worries. And now - now, I see through the Matrix, through the Prime with all forms of sight, revered for his sense of justice, and overseer of the dead - that you, YOU put more lives in danger of death than I ever did. You consistently put your own needs and desires above the team, above Jack's safety, and above Optimus' concerns. You've no right to judge him whose orders you persistently disregarded, least of all when he was on the verge of joining the AllSpark. I am your superior, Arcee. Your Prime. I care not for apologies. As Smokescreen, I reached out to you, yet you swatted my servo aside. I will fight with you as your leader, your fellow soldier - but we will never be more than comrades on the field. Do I make my point clear?"
There's a heavy, cowed silence in the room as Arcee - who had taken a few steps back at Antares' fury - stares at him in dull shock and conflicted emotions. Bulkhead is the first to speak, assuring the young Prime that they understand, and with his prompting, she reluctantly concedes. Antares' gaze, when landing on the green Wrecker, softens ever so slightly, and straightening, he suggests they all recover before he retrieves Optimus' remains and the Forge in the morning.
Tired, angry, and quietly frightened, Antares leaves for another corner of the airfield, unable and unwilling to face his team.
But the sound of running pedes, as familiar as his newly recognized scent is strange, makes the Prime's fast pace slow. A voice calling out his name, his old name, makes him freeze. And when Red Alert stops behind him, asking to talk to him, it causes Antares to rapidly revisit his old memories. Soon, he turns to face his best friend, who sees the heartbroken, grief-stricken look on his face as, with a hitch, Smokescreen speaks to him quietly:
"I watched him slip away...But Red, I - I wasn't there with him. He died alone - alone, and I should have, should've -"
He squeezes his optics closed, voice hitching. In half a second, Red Alert has embraced his friend, and Antares can't help but practically collapse into his arms, the grief and sadness too much. Red Alert holds him, sharing his pain and shedding tears of his own alongside his Prime, his best friend.
And during a lull, Antares hoarsely whispers, "Everything is too big. My emotions, my frame, and my rage - Primus Red, I nearly killed Megatron and the rest like an animal -"
"Hey, calm down," Red Alert soothes, pulling back enough to look at him. "Look at me, Antares."
The use of his Prime name makes him focus on the combat medic, and with a gentle firmness, he assures, "I know it's a lot to accept, and even more to adjust to. But you were always the fast learner of our class. You aced more often than you got into trouble fighting with the slackers, and I know for a fact that you'll get the hang of this. And if it's too much, if you're really that scared of your new coding, I'll help you, though you might need to talk to Onyx - and if he's listening, he'd better know he should help or I'll find a way to make him help."
The threat, so genuinely backed by severity as it is playfulness, makes Antares laugh. How he missed Red Alert and his hidden humor! How he missed his steady presence and reassuring words!
In that moment, he makes his first true decision as a Prime, clarified and agreed upon by Red Alert: the combat medic, when not on the field or otherwise tending the injured, is his doctor and confidante. He'll need a friend by his side, one who knows him and his physical needs/past, and who he can trust when the burdens he's bearing become too much for him.
The next day, he leaves for the cavern where Optimus and the Forge reside, taking Ratchet with him for the mission. Together, they find a place in Wyoming to bury him, and both 'Bots take a moment to grieve the loss of their leader and friend before taking their leave. During this time, Antares finds himself feeling a more genuine friendship opening up between himself and Ratchet, though they both recognize that it will never be what they each had with Optimus.
Once the task is complete, Antares takes a day to familiarize himself with the 'Bots now under his command and the situation they're now in. He realizes that while he joined them, only Optimus and Bulkhead were truly his friends from the original squad - and even then, Bulkhead took a great deal of time to become remotely fond of him. However, Breakdown is the one who never abused him during his tenure on Team Prime. As a matter of fact, Breakdown respected and appreciated him, normally engaging in friendly banter and training with him when they weren't on missions. Knowing he needs a link to Optimus' crew and someone who he can feel secure with in his inner circle, Antares privately chooses the former 'Con as his connection to the others and, recalling his higher rank back then and the records he read, elevates Breakdown to the status of lieutenant among their ranks.
Now, he considers who shall be his tactical officers - and prays it won't end disastrously.
It takes a while to organize it, in part because of their past, but Antares convinces Ultra Magnus to be his second-in-command while Wheeljack - who had once been a high ranking Wrecker - will be his first officer. There's lots of tension and a few playground insults, but Antares convinces them with bridled frustration to put the past aside on account of his need for their tactical expertise. He explains that he was no leader in the past, and he'll need their counsel to find both sound strategy and flexible adaptability in order to better lead the Autobots. Wheeljack was always rather fond of Smokescreen, respecting his eagerness and quick-thinking, and thus promises to be on his best behavior - though he also notes that he can't guarantee all will be sunshine, rainbows, and unicorn farts between him and Magnus.
Antares chuckles at the perfectly befuddled look on the commander's expression. "That's all I ask. For now," he notes, smile returning to a controlled look of blank acceptance. "Keep me posted on updates from 'Con activity, and while you're at it, work with Ratchet to locate energon deposits. For this week, I'll be working with the Thirteen and Red Alert on - heh, 'taming the beast'."
With that, he turns and leaves for the airfield, and both senior officers do not miss the seriousness that has overcome their new leader.
As the week passes, all is quiet. No Decepticon activity is recorded, and a few energon deposits are found and quickly raided. The only disturbance is of Antares practicing with his new beast mode, his control and focus steadily becoming greater as Red Alert helps him in some combat maneuvers via a holographic training projector he had on him when arriving on Earth. At the same time, Onyx slowly teaches him how to suppress the primal instincts his new form has, and when to merge them with rational thought to improve performance in the field.
But despite this success, all the Autobots take note of Antares' unusual restraint. He smiles slightly and makes a few sarcastic comments, but they seem more somber, and almost deprecating. It causes them to worry, and even Breakdown and Wheeljack's attempts to lighten his mood in their free time is met with assurances that all is well. Red Alert, though he has ideas of his own for bringing Smokescreen out of his shell a bit, hopes someone can be found to better the process, as there's only so much he can do.
Optimus feels the same way, and on the following Sunday, when Antares suffers another bout of nightmares, the fallen Prime searches the airfield for a suitable friend and mentor to his successor.
His search leads him to the barracks as a young man - mentally and physically older than Smokescreen, yet still youthful - awakes and feels the safe, gentle presence of the Prime that he does not recall falling asleep to the previous night.
His dog tags reveal his name and rank to be Sergeant First Class Franklin Talltree, although the young Navajo introduces himself as Airborne.
Though the human cannot see it, Optimus Prime smiles.
To be continued....

Bot Buddy who is Bulkhead's older sibling, member of the Elite Guard, interacting with Team Prime
SFW, familial, platonic, Cybertronian/ Bot reader
Transformers Prime
Part 3 of 3
“… Bulkhead did you adopted this one or something?”—Buddy
The team is surprised to see Buddy get on their knees to pay more attention to the humans. Buddy later gets an altmode with them and gets to hang out with Bulkhead.
Speak of which has not left Buddy’s side since the tackling. He wants to catch up on everything with them. Bulkhead is a bit hesitant when they are put out on the field without him. It makes him antsy. Not because he thinks that they can’t handle themselves. Mainly because his deep fear is them disappearing like last time and it being permanent.
“Buddy just promise me to not take on anything you know you can’t handle, okay?”--Bulkhead
“Don’t worry Bulk. Anyways it’s my job to worry about you not the other way around.”--Buddy
“Can we both worry about the other?”--Bulkhead
“… Alright.”—Buddy
He nearly had a spark attack seeing Buddy launch themselves straight at Predaking.
“Get off of him!!!”--Bulkhead
They did well by themselves for a while too. Whenever both are paired together, it is the equivalent of several semitrucks ramming into one another.
They do have their little sibling spats, mainly over little things like where to play lob or if it is necessary to break some things.
“Why are Bulkhead and Buddy not speaking this time?”--Wheeljack
“Bulkhead accidentally knocked down Buddy’s Jenga game.”—Miko
Miko via osmosis was now Buddy’s other sibling/charge. If Miko isn’t with Bulkhead or Wheeljack she is most likely with Buddy. Miko likes doing trust fall from Buddy’s height. Buddy has expressed the displeasure of the action, but they are powerless against Miko’s puppy eyes. Absolutely loves her to death though.
“Am your new charge now?”--Miko
“Miko you aren’t my charge.”--Buddy
“…”--Miko
“You’re my child now.”—Buddy
Jack is a bit wary of Buddy due to their giant size but gets used to them after a bit. Doesn’t hang out with Buddy that often but knows that he can trust Buddy.
“So, how’s things at school working out?”--Buddy
“There okay. I got a B in today’s Math test.”--Jack
“That’s nice.”--Buddy
Raf loves telling Buddy stories about his day and what has happened before their arrival.
“Then what happened?”--Raf
“I got his shaft and rammed to the side of the build to stop the both of us from falling off of the exercise course!”--Buddy
“Cool!”--Raf
When June and Fowler see Buddy they think that maybe Buddy was a former Decepticon turned Autobot. They are a bit shocked to find out that they are related to Bulkhead. They don’t mind Buddy. Often if the three of them are alone they are often found talking about the stress of looking after others.
“So, I’m not the only one here that dies a little inside when Miko starts running to the ground bridge?”--Buddy
“That’s right.”--June
“Yes.”—Agent Fowler
Has told both June and Fowler that if any harm were to come towards the kids that they would do whatever it takes to get them to safety. It’s a bit of a reliever but they still worry.
“I would die for them.”--Buddy
“Well that’s nice for you to look after the kids.”--June
“I. Would. Die. For. Them.”--Buddy
“…”—June and Agent Fowler
Buddy has already told Arcee, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead that they could be a sub and would absolutely lay their life down to make sure the kids are okay.
Bumblebee doesn’t like the way they talk and later asks if they want to talk about it.
Bumblebee via osmosis is now small sibling.
“Mine now.”--Buddy
“Beep?(What?)”—Bumblebee
Arcee tries brushing it off, but deep down is a bit concerned and relieved knowing that Jack has another pair of optics on him.
“I would die for Jack.”--Buddy
“What?”--Arcee
Bulkhead understandably is the most upset of the three because he knows that Buddy is dead serious. Don’t get him wrong, having another pair of optics on Miko from going into the ground bridge is a huge relief but he also doesn’t want to lose them.
“I would die for you and Miko.”--Buddy
“…please don’t…”--Bulkhead
Buddy and Smokescreen surprisingly get along well. The team later finds out its because he was constantly following Buddy during their time in the Elite Guard.
“Remember when I put a bunch of bolts in some of the stun guns?”--Smokescreen
“Remember when I beat you in the shooting range on the bet of a couple of rust sticks?”--Buddy
Ratchet is a bit hesitant with Buddy. Mainly because he is worried, he has to deal with another Bulkhead that’s twice as destructive. But is surprised in how gentle they are and how they manage to keep others from bothering Ratchet for too long, has respect for Buddy.
“Miko how about we go on a ride together and not bother Ratchet.”--Buddy
“Thank you.”--Ratchet
Optimus is just glad that he has another member join their forces. And sometimes engage in some small talk.
“Did you ever sit on that one bench in Iacon that always seemed tittering whenever you’d put any weight on it?”--Buddy
“… yes, I remember that bench.”—Optimus
Wheeljack constantly tries to break Buddy out of their shell. He wants to see the bot that annihilated those cons constantly.
“C’mon just go berserker one more time.”--Wheeljack
“For the last time Wheeljack no.”--Buddy
“You’ll end up like Magnus if you keep having a stick up—”--Wheeljack
“If I do it one more time, will you stop it?”--Buddy
“Maybe.”—Wheeljack
Ultra Magnus to everyone he looks like he has a strict coworker relationship. But really, he has one of the closest relationships with Buddy. Absolutely has Buddy’s back on the battlefield and at the base. Has bend rules a bit if it’s for Buddy.
“Buddy.”--Magnus
“Ultra Magnus sir.”--Buddy
“How are this evening’s reports coming along?”--Magnus
“All written down, except the most recent one.”--Buddy
“That was our patrol, no?”--Magnus
“Yes, sir. It should get done as soon as I finish with Miko’s music practice.”--Buddy
“No need to do that report. I will handle it.”--Magnus
“Oh? Thank you, Ultra Magnus, sir.”--Buddy
“Please, Ultra Magnus is perfectly fine.”--Magnus
“Then, thank you Ultra Magnus.”—Buddy
“…What was that?!”--Miko
“…”--Bulkhead
“Miko?! What have I said about eavesdropping?”--Buddy
“…”--Bulkhead
Bulkhead doesn’t know what to think about it.

Hello, I'm here for your TFPReverse au (again)
So, hear me out.
Since we are swapping both sides completely mech-chuman, I thought ABT Agent Fowler as a mech that could appear later in the plot, just like Magnus or Smokescreen. As a member of the cause of the anti-rebellion in their civil war, he can be one of the commanders, that found his way to Earth following the MECH signal and found three of his lost soldiers by the bye. Maybe his ship got destroyed, so he needs to stay longer and can't take sparklings into space again.
I remember liking the development of Fowler in the series, where he changes from the cold, distanced agent of the government to a part of the family. So I think here he would be just as earnest at the beginning, maybe even more.
He appeared after finally the children had been accepted and had found their way around the things, they tag along with each other pretty well and know how to live in the shadows, generally they know how to do their thing. And then the high command shows up, not trusting anyone besides himself. Maybe he even thinks children were brainwashed by the humans. He'd want to reorganise everything and put some restrictions to mobilise children into fighting the enemy. They are in the middle of the war after all.
And here comes the conflict of two soldiers, two commanders of the team. Optimus will NOT let anyone mess with his fine-working team, especially he won't sacrifice the young mechs to a complete stranger that doesn't know shit about his planet. On the other hand Fowler will NOT listen to an organic, that doesn't have a war over his head, happens to live in peaceful time and doesn't have to worry about loosing his life from the hand of the enemy every single minute. For Fowler, Optimus and his kind live way too shortly to know anything about the war, not to mention HIS war. He's a commander way longer than the human kind exists, more, he is a commander way longer than any of the children exist. They were already forged during the war, just from the mere purpose of serving the cause, they don't know what they are fighting for. That'll make Fawler feel like he's the only one that knows the weight of the situation, like he's the only competent here. He was supposed to lead this war to an end, not babysit his soldiers.
But... These soldiers are still children, if they were living in the times of peace, from the memories he keeps so close to his spark, they would be having the time of their lives right now, spending it playing in crystal gardens and learning about the propaganda of their long gone government. It'll take a some time and fighting (with and against each other) and a long ass talk with humans for Fowler to loose a bit. He'll finally be willing to cooperate with humans and not push the sparklings too hard. On the other hand, Optimus will have a fuller picture of what they are fighting, the deep shit they are now all part of. But with a new-old mech willing to slow down and actually teach the young how to fight, they may actually have a chance to win.
Sorry it's so long again, got carried away a bit.

You, keep talking. You have the biggest brain, lober.
It would take a VERY long time to get Fowler to get along with the autobots and the kids in general. When he learns that the leader of M.E.C.H is on Earth and they have a chance to end this war by killing him, Fowler immediately trains the kids hardcore to get them ready to fight back. After all, they were forged during the war. Their frames were made for them to fight.
This contrasts deeply with Optimus and his team who want the kids to enjoy their lives and have fun while they can before it’s taken from them. They have their conflicts with the Decepticons but it’s not as dire as the kids and Fowler with M.E.C.H. Because of this Fowler at first sees them as a nuisance.
Fowler has lost the reason why the war and the revolution started on Cybertron. It was for the chance to have the younger generation group up with a better life than he did but with how long the war had been going on and all he lost, he loses that point and just wishes to be done with it. That’s why it’s hard for him to see the kids as kids instead of just soldiers. Which the autobots help him see, after a lot of arguments and time.
I really do want to write a fic about this au on my ao3, I just need time to flesh the idea out more and the world. Also my friend asked me about June in this au and let’s just say I have plans with her and Jack specifically. Don’t worry about it :)

How did the autobots (SG) met the humans and how did they get them to join their side?
Bee met Raf because he saw the scout on a mission, and Bee had thought that he was alone. When he saw Raf, he knew he was supposed to kill him, but he thought Raf was adorable and hurting him would be tantamount to kicking a puppy, so he managed to talk the others into letting Raf stay on the base. He knows Raf finds him cute/sweet and uses this, along with the kid's lack of knowledge of his job, to keep him on his side, and eventually he loves Raf more than he's loyal to his side, something that becomes relevant later.
Arcee met Jack while on a test run of a holomatter avatar she'd bought from the Wreckers, and Jack's voice sounded just like Tailgate's, so she followed him around and just straight-up kidnapped him. He mainly isn't trying to escape because she and her species intrigue him, and he wants to know more. The Autobots consider him basically the equivalent of a curious animal.
Bulkhead met Miko while he was doing one of his shows (one way the Wreckers keep influence on people is through public image). She'd gotten into a fight with security for sneaking in, and he liked the fire in her. So he pretended she was supposed to be there and incorporated her into his show for the night, then found out her parents had died and decided it would be easy to adopt her since he already had a human identity. He had to keep Wheeljack an arm's length because he knew the guy wants to cyberform humanity. As for her Circuit Breaker mode, she ended up getting hurt because she got caught in Autobot/Decepticon captivity and he didn't want her getting hurt. So he (VERY RELUCTANTLY) allowed Wheeljack to make modifications to her so she could defend herself on the condition that he not destroy her mind/personality.
Fowler was assigned to be a liaison to the Autobots like in canon.
