will have the pleasure of finding different colored post it notes all over his office in obscure places (courtesy of dove) ranging from sweet nothings to random facts (ie: “i love being around you” to “did you know sea otters hold hands so they don’t drift apart”)

will get sent pictures of inanimate object duos like salt and pepper shakers or a fork and a spoon with a message below it saying “us ❤️”

will be afraid things won’t work out because of how hard it is for him to express his feelings

will never have to be alone again bc dove sticks to him like a magnet

I listened to Cyril’s playlist, (for the third or fourth time) and can practically hear inside Dove’s mind after Cyril says “dove” in relation to them.

Hi, hello this is gonna be the one and only time I make a post like this because I seriously cannot comprehend what just happened. I listened to this audio before I went to church and then after I got out of church on the way home it finally hit me.

So seriously, spoilers ahead I’m being serious if you don’t want to read spoilers for reverie upcoming audio don’t read this

First thing I wanna talk about is bug 

I need to know what powers bug has because there’s no way that law said does Gage know and we’re not getting an explanation also, I know they’re going to talk later about the situation,

I just want to know how that conversation is going to go because when Gage told us about his mom, I know that was hard for him so I can’t imagine the struggle bug went through not telling him about their powers

Second thing I want to talk about sweets went Ferrell. I can’t imagine the things that are Both going through sweets and laws heads right now

Sweets is probably terrified because they don’t want to turn into the person that attacked them. They don’t want to be like him.

Something that I think is going through laws head is do I want this person around my child. I know they haven’t done anything to her, but I don’t want anything to happen to either of them so I know that is gonna be a conversation that needs to be talked about and I know it’s gonna be hard because I can tell sweets cares about Natalie and Natalie cares about sweets so that’s gonna be a difficult conversation especially because he already asked them to move in 

Third thing I wanna talk about is

is Cyril‘s partner going to die because I know their powers overloaded a lot 

And is Cyril going to be OK because this is the first time that we have heard him actually interact with whatever Roman sees correction, he said that he started to see them after Roman interacted with them in front of him

Edit: Cyril is hearing whispering. I totally missed that. I don’t think my brain caught up to that part when I first listen to it

(because it was at the end and I was already leaving) 

Fourth thing I want to talk about is Honey

Honey is a wolf/coyote shifter!!!!!!

First of all, I had a feeling that Honey was going to be some kind of shifter

I want to know how that conversation went. I feel like it would be a good conversation at first I don’t think Casey believed them but after an explanation. I think he Them believed them also I feel like he fainted so after he got better, they started talking and explaining

This was beautifully written it almost made me cry at the end Altair you are so talented seriously, it was a great video



also I might listen to it again because I think I’m missed some things but yeah again this is my first and only post about spoilers or anything like that. I usually don’t post spoilers

I'm sorry but I gotta talk about this.

I literally love how Dove reacts when they get visions about the future.

And I'm not talking about the way they act as they're experiencing the vision. I'm talking about how they react with the information they got from the vision.

Like, you mean to say that this bitch had a vision that told them that yes, they will have a lovely relationship wit Cyril. Yes, they will love together. And yes, he does call them a pet name. And then they act super chill about it for who knows how long? They just sit on this info and aren't kicking their feet girlypop style?

And then when he mentions how they're like a dove. And Dove is just like "haha flowery prose nerd. Ha ha." And meanwhile this is pointing towards that lovely vision coming true??

Like, holy shit. What kind of poker face does this bitch have??? CAN I BUY IT AT MY LOCAL WHOLE FOODS STORE?? (Because they shop there, I refuse to believe otherwise.)

ya so here's all the little things i decided about them:

i decided on cat shifter after a quick hey-guys-what-would-i-be-between-these-two-animals to my friends

wears cat ear headband unironically

constantly has one earbud in and is probably listening to emo music

every piece of paperwork has doodles on it

just. so many earrings

hair is awkward to pull into a ponytail but we ball

resting face always either looks pissed off or totally head-empty-no-thoughts

freckles

doesnt actually need glasses (they don't do anything they're literally just plastic lenses) but they're cute

fidgety

usually looks like they just rolled out of bed but "it's the aesthetic I swear"

singing constantly. humming, whistling, mumbling lyrics

pencil behind the ear so often they forget that it's there

"where the fuck is my pencil I just had it"

hair twisting and skin picking are a constant issue. it bugs others when they tug at their eyelashes

cyril probably finds them infuriating but in the way that someone finds like a sibling infuriating?

i tend to have that effect on people idk

cyril and i are like. very similar. but not in the way youd expect

what follows are *my* personal headcannons of Dove, and their backstory.

fair content/trigger warning: small mentions of blood, mild hinted brain damage/brain aneurysm(?)

Well, I had the idea that my Dove's parents were a weather forecaster and a journalist. They're both unattuned but they do know about this aspect of the world. So when they found out about Dove being an attuned of the clairvoyant variety, they're parents funded a lot of money and time for Dove to hone their sorcery, to be used for a food purpose.

Dove would still have been very young when it started, maybe about 7 or 8, but they had a good enough grasp on their visions to decipher when they happen. Things would start when their weather forecaster parent would ask Dove if they could take a peak into what the future weather report was going to look like. It would start seeing clear skies, light showers of rain, strong winds, etc. And it all was pretty accurate from the time frame.

But one day Dove would be seeing a big flood was coming for their town in about two weeks. And it happened, destroyed half of the town but the population was save thanks to the warning of Dove's vision.

Which would've been celebratory but their journalist parent became very high on the admiration of their family, their child saving the town and being able to write about it. They would start to push Dove to specifically watch for bad visions. Which was a very stressful time for the poor Dove. Eventually the stress got so bad, they were getting constant streams of unfortunate future events, it would actually have them bed-ridden because migraine, hyperventilation and intense shivering.

When they pushed beyond their breaking point, they had a blood vessel in their brain burst and spit blood, from the stress of being pushed to see the worst of the future. It had them hospitalized for a while (it could've been between days and a month). Both their parents were distraught at the development, it definitely knocked the journalist parent out of the clouds and grounded them immensely. They never asked Dove to look into the future after that, they didn't want their child suffering under it again.

After that event, and the damage on their brain that still needed to heal, Dove's vision became very fuzzy, muddled, and unclear. The rare clear visions would be very fractured and out of order, there was no saying which of them would happen first, if at all. So they wouldn't even be able to use their sorcery for their parents, even if they wanted to.

With that their outlook on the future, their future felt very cold, empty and numb. As a way to cope with it they'd develop the shameless confidence we see in the audios.

It was when meeting Cyril that their visions started become brighter again. Still fractured and out of order, but brighter, lighter. Which is why they would become his personal terror, to be with the person that is quite literally, the light at their tunnel.

phew. I had fun writing this out. I hope the bit of angst wasn't heavy on the stomach.
