I don’t know why it just hit me now but what if it had been MIKEY who suggested in helping zog and it was Mikey who told Donnie to make the mask because Mikey is the heart so it makes perfect sense this was a Mikey arc!

Mikey certainly does connect with Zog the most - he's the one who pairs up with Zog, he's the one that screams for Zog when the Triceraton is facing off against Shredder. Mikey's even the one to name an ordinary triceratops after Zog in a later episode.
That said, I don't dislike that it was Don who suggested fixing up the breather for the poor guy. He's also very compassionate, as we see time and time again. I've noticed that Donnie's often the one to grab onto whatever civilian they're fleeing with - April, the Fugitoid, Renet etc.
Tbh, I liked how all the turtles felt kinda bad about Zog's predicament and how they handled it, to varying degrees. Leo's clearly very uncomfortable impersonating the guy's commanding officer, and it's actually Raph that screams out and tries to race after Zog when the Triceraton sacrifices himself so the turtles can escape.
As much as I feel a little bit uncomfortable with the episode - I don't like the idea of our heroes manipulating a delusional enemy into helping them - I can at least say that the Turtles all showed compassion for Zog in some ways.

also I know I’ve talked about it before but it’s insane how the pokemon world works if you know anything about caves + caving irl. like I know in the pokeverse caves are so big bc lots of them are canonically(?) formed by onix burrowing so there’s big rooms and tunnels you can actually walk through but not all of the little side paths that exist are like that. and yeah you’ve got pokemon to help you but again. little side passages and not everyone’s fuckoff massive mon is gonna fit in every space… also how dangerous it would be to set off earthquake or rock slide underground????? great way to collapse the ceiling on you. no wonder “rock smash” as an HM is specifically taught bc while lots of mons can smash through rocks with ease there’s a difference between careless destruction and selectively breaking only a small portion of something for traversal purposes without bringing down the earth on your head. like in Sinnoh there’s a whole underground - completely separate from the regular caves you dive into on the daily - that you can go down into and mine fossils n shit. also That’s Not How Volcanoes Work. sorry I’ve been watching caving videos on YouTube for the past 24 hours and it’s driving me insane with how many caves you traverse in the games and it’s just Fine. sure send out your monferno in a space where there’s barely room to walk and have it blast through a portion of some random wall and pray to god there’s no methane that needs igniting nearby.

Gloria is holding an apple out to N. However there's a small hole at the center of the apple where a set of eyes peer up and out at N. It seems there's an Applin inside the apple. But for one reason or another it's yet to come out of the apple itself.
"Dunt get de wrong idea! Dis In't a confession 'r anyt'ing a de sort! N-no offense. Ah'm really happy wit' Ree." She feels like she's just eating her foot now. In fact she's not sure if N even knows the Galar tradition surrounding Applin. None the less she's VERY quick to try and make sure he knows this has nothing to do with that.
"My friend who runs de Applin sanctuary asked me tuh find a kind trainer fer dis little guy. He's been havin' trouble comin' outta his shell 'round ot'er Pokemon 'nd people so tuh speak 'nd also uhh... Literally actually." She runs her finger down the edge of the apple trying to sooth the anxious Pokemon inside.
"Yew seem really kind 'nd even better wit' Pokemon. So Ah t'ought yew might be able to help him. Plus Knives 'nd Appy vouched fer yew. Would yew mind?" In all honesty if it hadn't been for her Appletun's encouragement she'd have been far more hesitant to offer anyone this Applin. But she trusted her pokemon's perspective and so she was putting that trust into N.
Wanderer N was gifted an Applin from Galar Champ Gloria!

Is really the only time we see Strangeglove's precious little Badillac is at the end of his music video. I mean I know it gets mentioned a little and elaborated on a little in the magazines in a page or two but. He doesn't really have that many apperences in it. Don't know why this is the first thought I think when I get time to think thoughts but okay(yes. You do. You know exactly why, Kane.)

If anyone talks with any amount of approval about the potential mass dying of humanity during climate collapse, you can punch that person in the face.
If that person is white, you can punch them twice.
(Technically, unless you are interrupted, nothing is physically stopping you from punching people who trivialize the mass murder of billions of people of color many more times. The ones or twice are just suggestions of what you could do.)

While hormonal birth control is a modern miracle and I think everyone that wants it should have free access to it (and good support to make sure they are healthy while taking it), I personally do not ever want to take it again.
And like, since I only really ever plan on having sex with committed partners ever again, if I’m in a partnership with someone that could get me pregnant and they aren’t willing to get a vasectomy to keep me from having to deal with the side effects of birth control, I do think that they probably don’t care enough about my health to be in a committed relationship with.
#yes there is nuance to this#but hormonal birth control makes me go off the rails and also causes other health issues#Where as vasectomies are quick easy reversible and without as many side effects
