Desert Ride

I wanted to create a piece like this, where Tech rides a monowheel bike with a weapon on his back, inspired by the style of sci-fi anime like Akira. The vehicle design is reminiscent of the bikes used in the show. Rev was added later and really helps bring the image together. This could very well be what happens later in the episode I have in mind, where they go to the desert and meet Tech’s father.

+ Commission me? I would be thrilled to help you guys out, regardless of payment; Like I said to Marsh, I have no shortage of resources, and no real use for currency where I'm at. Not to mention, I read about the Fireman Saga extensively, and would be practically honored to make something for Kennedi. Not everyday you see a Caliban pilot go toe-to-toe with a Worldkiller and come out on top. Hell, if I could meet her, I would accept payment in an autograph.

+ Send me Kennedi's measurements- weight, height, and the dimensions of what remains of her shoulder- and I'll design something that should fit and move far more comfortably. My own prosthesis are designed for dexterity, but if she's using hers for her D/D 288 then I'll probably have to sacrifice some of that mobility for a more robust design. If she's willing to put in the effort for the physical therapy and adjustment thereafter- she'll be good as new in no time.

+ My Tutor reasoned a good final exam would be a portfolio of designs that actually help people. I only became an engineer after the prosthetic hands my homeworld provided became more trouble than help. I designed my own hands for my own needs (then added two more, because it looks sick). Then I designed my own TTS interface for both my personal PDA and my frame's cockpit, allowing me (born mute) to better communicate with peers. As for others, I've designed various orthopedic braces for pilots used to different degrees of gravity or who struggle to ambulate outside of the cockpit, streamlined the design of the traditional electrolarynx, outfitted different types of hardsuits for pilots with varying body types (i.e. our friends with biomods), and more.

+ I know that my work may be a bit redundant in various circles, but where I live, and where I come from- not everything can be erased by implants or augments.

Coyote Dinner

A concept for an idea I had An episode where they fight Sam the Bandit at the beginning. Their ship gets damaged and crashes in the middle of the desert, so they need repairs and to regroup. The good news is that Tech knows a place nearby, about two hours from there. The bad news is that they have to walk those two hours under the desert sun, wearing black suits—not exactly pleasant for non-desert animals.

This, of course, is Cage E. Coyote ’s place, for the design I thought of a combination of gas station/dinner/ and hover car repair station with a retro-futuristic style. Its shape suggests a coyote’s head, with red triangles resembling the fins of a classic car. It was fun to design, but it took some time.
