At 18 years old— I decided to get my favorite band RHCP tatted on my right arm (my best friend did too!)

Believe me, I got a lot of shit for it over the years, but I’ll never regret it.

Their soulful music has inspired me beyond comprehensive measure and quite literally shaped me into the person I am today.

That inspiration led way to boundless memories and timeless bonds that I will cherish forever.

At 25 years old— I had the privilege of seeing RHCP live in concert with my best pals.

Without our cosmic connection to RHCP, there would be no Rigid Motion (if you know, you know)

I finally fulfilled a dream that I never thought would come to fruition. Incredibly thankful. Beyond words.

I've had "Give It Away" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers stuck in my head for like almost a week to the point of madness, and the only respite I get from this is that my brain will replace it with "Mr. Jones" by Counting Crows and immediately I am like fuck, no, go back to the Chili Peppers, goddammit.

My dad and I have extremely similar music tastes. Really our only differences are that he's not a huge fan of nu metal or death metal (with exceptions to both), and I think Primus is stupid (correct) while he thinks TOOL is music for insufferable jackasses (also correct). TOOL fan vs Primus fan in the same household.

I am a fan of RHCP but I can't imagine being any further from what people seem to expect a fan of theirs to look or act like

I am not from California or a skater of any kind or like, a stoner or anything? And all those things are fine don't get me wrong. They just seem to be associated with RHCP fans and I'm... not.
