Love it when Rolling Stone puts out an article about the 25 most influential internet creators and I've only heard of 7 of them

obsessed with how dan and phil have reached the level of fame where they are just referred to by their first names together and people are expected to know who they are. like the only comparable duo I can think of is trixie and katya. but those are their cool drag names, like they probably wouldn't be referred to as "brian and brian" as a duo even if they wanted to be. like even with hall and oates and simon and garfunkel, those are their last names!!

there's plenty of people named dan and phil out there but they are THE dan and phil when they are together. nobody is doing it like them.

EDIT: I completely forgot about rhett & link. but they are just one of the straight dan and phil variants anyways. also they have uncommon names it's different.

Yeah I think it will be a tease only. Or maybe one millimeter of one's lips will touch one millimeter of the other's lips but nothing that could register as a kiss. I mean, given the context, it can't really register as a kiss between them.

I'm currently influenced by the EB in which Link told us he went to a drag show with his daughter in a neighbourhood with a lot of queer presence and of course he had to comment that "maybe all these people thought he was one of them instead of just an advocate" and Rhett's face is like

I've been thinking about Wonderhole 2 a lot the past week. How many clones did Link go through to make it to 2224? There is no way someone as accident prone as Link could stay in mint condition that long. I'm guessing Rhett has survived the centuries by just making some little adjustments, like whatever he has going on in his eyes, and the titanium ass, of course. But my calculations say that Link is very likely have encountered at least a dozen near-fatal accidents, and each time, Rhett has dragged him to be cloned before it's too late.

I was thinking about writing a fic about this thought, but I wanted it to be silly despite Link constantly getting injured, because I think, after you've broke your body often enough without fear of being eternally impaired, it becomes kinda ridiculous. But, going through all the clones and simultaniously building a slowburn lovestory between our heroes would take more than a ficlet, and my time is limited. So, feel free to hog this idea, I don't mind.

I've unfortunately been on tumblr since i was 17 and that was back in 2010.

people have seen me go through so many phases, so many hyperfixations. that period where i was obsessed with conan o'brien, obsessed with smosh, obsessed with rhett and link, obsessed with sasha velour, obsessed with drag in general..etc. some of those have stuck, but i completely stopped posting two years ago because tumblr and all its fandoms i was apart of died. now im back because there's still a community here and now i have a place again to share my hyperfixations and have a lot of people actually understand.

i work in the drag scene in phoenix and have been for many years and as grateful as i am to have loving friends in my life, none of them care about youtube like i do. so i can't share all my interests with them like i can here.
