Why, Oh Why, Oh Why, Oh Why?
Hey peeps!
Ride the Cyclone! Amazing musical! Fun songs! Interesting characters! What more could you want!
My (and a lot of other peoples) favorite character is Jane Doe!
“The one unidentified body of the Cyclone Rollercoaster Disaster…”
Okay, listen. If you don’t want to watch the musical, at least listen to “The Ballad of Jane Doe” and rethink that decision, cause like… your life will be changed
Anyhoo! I got to do my own song cover as a final project in my Chorus class, and I chose hers! It’s rare for me to find a song I actually enjoy that uses my full range, but my Soprano 1 voice finally got to flex here <3
So yeah!
Here she is :)
Poor baby

Since mischa looks like well that, what does Talia look like
Genuinely can't tell if this is an insult, but oh well
She's not some majestic flower goddess she is literally just a girl

And I'm asking...
Why Lord!?
Semi old drawing by now but still LOVE this one so much. I ate that up. I was inspired by the Roxy's production??? Forgive me if I'm mixing up the productions but she was all tied up like a marionette and I loved that concept.
I might redraw this at some point as I have a few ideas I wish I'd incorporated the first time.

"Jane Doe" is what the coroner said
They found my body, not my head
No parents came, and so they never learned...
My name, or who I used to be
My life, an unsolved mystery
happy ride the cyclone day!! rip to the rest of the saint cassian high school chamber choir, but she's built different. (ps: the formatting of the portrait won't make a lick of sense until you see the next one. and that, my friends, is a masterclass on how to upsell)
[Image ID: A digital stylized portrait of Jane Doe from the musical Ride the Cyclone. Jane has a very pale face with rozy cheeks and fully black eyes. She has chin-length platinum blonde hair hair in ringlets. She wears a plaid grey dress over a lacy white undershirt, with a black choker on the dress. One arm holds a porcelain doll in a cream-colored dress. The doll is missing its head, stuffing coming out. Jane's other arm is raised, reaching to touch "her" head. Her face is mostly emotionless, but her eyebrows are raised slightly and her mouth is open. Around her is a frame with two extremely blurred captions, her name added atop the top one. End image ID.]
