🎃 Live Reports & Behind the scenes Pt.2

According to the interview from some audiences after the reveal of 6th’s and 7th’s cast, they thought it’s funny that team Bad Boy felt oddly cool to them, while on the other hand, team Hero were also cool but with even more chaotic vibes than the previous one —Everyone did wonder in unison that what went through the organizer’s head when they decided to put them together. Well, Raiden and Saji were the only exceptions since both of them were naturally pretty dedicated to their team titles.

Raiden got a bit carried away as he started laughing like some maniac by the end of his show. And in consequence of that, his temporary teammates were just… letting him be before all left the scene like nothing happened.

Since the beginning of the 9th show, the ladies of team “SolaLune Fairies” were seen solemnly walking out of the backstage with a dark long veil covering most part of their face and their outfits. Each of them were also noted to hold a bouquet with different flowers. Lola were red tulips, Evelyn were blue roses, Moriko were sunflowers, and Miku were moon orchids. But once the first beat of the song dropped out, they suddenly changed their moods and threw their veils away ...showing off their party dresses which were delicately designed just for each of them (ultimate kudos were given to those from the costume team). Thus, the true catwalk showdown began! 

After all the teasing to throw their bouquets to the audience like in the wedding, it was still unknown who those ladies decide to give their bouquets to at the end. Maybe it was their lover/ bestie or etc. Who knows anyway? But as the show title hinted, they might probably give it to their fairest…

Before the 10th show starts, the camera caught Kanade having a high-five with Lola in the same fashion as those two boys from the first half. 

Despite not being much active around these days, Hana Izanami (@snowmantita) was spotted coming here in secret to cheer for her friends.

The 11th show was obviously one of the best highlights of this event, given 6 of them were actually the famed performers to begin with! In addition, Queen card was the one who planned most details of the performance herself. Besides, some of them were really going all-out to the point where they attempted to compete with each other even. No wonder this show received very loud applause as a result, just like their team’s name implied.

There was one funny moment getting leaked out from the backstage. It was the photo of two gentlemen who literally had no idea why they were put in the same line with other talented showmen in the 11th show. Saigo seemed to be deep in thought about how much the staff have spent on props and special effects, while Nishio… He was caught flirting with other participants —Well, let’s hope that he wasn’t flirting with the wrong person there.

Despite the chill and anti-climax vibe that was very contrast to the intense impression from the previous show, the final show performed by team Bakemono was unexpectedly the children’s most favorite! Why was that? The secret of success not only lied in the lyrics of the song, but also its cute and catchy choreography. Moreover, they had also brought in the massive number of candies to throw into the crowd.

And due to some interviews with the parents, they told that this show truly deserved to be the closing show as it was in fact spoke the moral of this spooky event… 

Before the show started, it was a record of five of them chatting with each other. And although it was all according to the script, Asahi confessed that they had retaken it so many rounds he actually lost count of.

And just as the name of their team indicated, they were all wearing the yokāi costumes! For example, Asahi was the Oni, Kohaku was attempting to look like Kasa-obake (even if it came out rather funny), Taria was Karasu tengu, Honoka had animal ears so maybe she was bakeneko or kitsune, and Ayaka wore triangle headband with a kimono to represent the yurēi ghost.

From what live reports said, despite being the performers of the show, both Asahi & Kohaku were noted to really enjoy their time the most —These two spiritual(?) twins loved throwing candies like they’re playing with snow, while Honoka and Ayaka might seem a bit stiff due to their not so great experiences with people. However, Taria was the one making them warm up and enjoy the moment just like other children did —Who else would understand the kids best if not someone with a children’s heart?

The one providing Hana Suzuki's voice has been released. She will be voiced by KENPRO's Haruna Mikawa (三川華月). One of the more up-and-coming names most known for her role as Rin Kagawa in Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru (2022) as well as Tatsuki Mori in the ASSAULT LILY franchise

A knock is heard on the door of the Kagawa residence. Pausing from what she was doing Ayaka stood and walked over to the door. Opening the door reveals the entirety of Death Row Block. Normally the sight of Katsushika Divison would fill many with fear but not Ayaka who was happy to see the people she considered family.

“Happy Birthday Ayaka.” Akihisa murmured.

"Aya-chan~! Happy Birthday~!" Touya loudly cheered giving Ayaka a gentle hug. 

“Happy Birthday short stuff.” Rintaro gently ruffled Ayaka’s hair. 

Letting them enter her house Ayaka noticed that each of them was carrying a gift. 

“Alright considering it's obvious what we're here for let's get to the good shit.” Rintaro teased placing his gift in Ayaka’s hands. “Hope you enjoy it, kid. I have a feeling you didn't have one of these as a kid.” Rintaro’s usual fierce expression softened to something kinder. 

Opening the gift reveals a white teddy bear with a pale gold ribbon around its neck. Ayaka nearly teared up at the sight of the gift. 

“Nearly got kicked out the toy store getting it so you better appreciate it, ya hear.” Rintaro jokingly threatened, giving Ayaka’s hair one last ruffle.

“Oh oh me next Aya-chan~! I hope you like it~!” Touya grinned placing his gift in Ayaka’s hands. 

Opening the gift reveals two gorgeous dresses one pink and one blue. Ayaka let out a gasp at the sight of the gift from the serial killer.

“I still don't know why I could've gone with my original idea.” Touya pouted. 

“Your original idea was a fucking knife from your personal collection Touya.  Do you even know where some of your knives have been?” Rintaro scolded elbowing his teammate. 

“Hisa-chan! Rin-chan is being mean to me again!”

“Oi! You little shit!”

“Touya, Rintaro please do not start a fight in Ayaka’s living room.” Akihisa scolds them. “Now then Ayaka this is my gift I do hope you enjoy it.” The ex-hitman placed his gift in Ayaka’s hands. 

Opening the gift reveals a small wooden music box with pink roses on the lid. Opening it up it began to play a lovely tune and Ayaka even noticed a place to place small bits of jewelry.

“I know your nightmares keep you up at night so I hope this helps,” Akihisa explained giving the young girl a gentle hug. “Now we have a few hours before someone realizes we’re not in Katsushika anymore. I managed to get a reservation at a restaurant here in Saga. So call Megumi and Mizuki and we can all go out to dinner for your birthday.”

To say that Ayaka was happy would be an understatement.

Her literal nuclear family unit was at her door how could she NOT be happy to see them.

“I missed you guys!”

She gave each of them the biggest hug she could muster before leading them inside.

Rintaro really was right about the teddy bear thing. She never did have one growing up! She held this one tightly- like it was going to be taken from her at any moment. She managed to not cry thankfully (but she was about to).

“He’s so soft- I think I’ll call him Mr. Fluffy!”

The four of them failed to notice two heads peaking out from behind the entrance to the kitchen. Mizuki and her partner were too busy fawning over how fucking cute this was to watch.

“These are so pretty!!” Ayaka gently ran her fingers across the fabric of the dresses “I love them thank you!”

It was Akihisa’s gift that made her begin to tear up even more. The beautiful melody was almost hypnotic part of her felt at ease when she heard it. He was right- her nightmares did keep her up quite a bit…and while her body still aches from the memories of her surgeries…today she didn’t hurt as much.

“You guys- thank you so much for the wonderful gifts” she smiled “Im going to go get changed into one of these” she holds up the dresses that Touya gave her.

Are the DbD Muses Missed?

A petty criminal, shyster, and general oddball, having cut all ties with their family the second they were able to leave on their own, Athanasios didn't have many connections in Greece. The closest group of people they had were murdered, Athanasios never being considered a suspect. The grounds of Alford’s manor were so viciously razed, there wouldn't be suitable earth for graves even if any bodies were found.

Carmina's exact fate was never discovered, but many reasonably assumed that she and her friends had been killed. Most likely for offending the wrong person or people. But the word never reached her father, the local authorities eager to cover the case up in every way possible. Not that Ernesto would have cared, or needed a confirmation after she tried to hide at home- served her right for sticking her nose where it didn't belong. He never forgave his daughter for his wife's necessary disappearance and young son's death.

Claudette was, and still is the pride and joy of her parents. She's been gone since 2008, and while the years have certainly been trying, they have not given up on her. Claudette's father especially, making it a habit to check with the National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains and Canadian Centre for Information on Missing Adults for any information that could possibly be a lead on his daughter's case.

Many of the members of the Fold- which make up Druanee's form- left behind families, friends, jobs, neighborhoods. Their absences were all felt, yes, but after stepping foot on the Garden of Joy, they ceased to exist outside of that island. Some of their loved ones accepted they would never see them again over time, others passed away still holding onto hope. The only testament that the Fold ever existed- besides the Dredge itself- is the settlement they left behind, a ghost town of juxtaposing grand bayou style architecture and quaint Midwestern scenery.

Herman learned very quickly in life that no one would ever see him as anything beside an asset or annoyance- not even his own parents. They were both far too willing to accept he too had been killed in the slaughter within that Illinois farmhouse, spending the bare minimum on a funeral and symbolic headstone to avoid any odd looks from their peers. Yes, the notion that their only child had been murdered did shock the Carters- but, ultimately, it was a blessing in disguise to them to be rid of him, even if it was through such awful means.

Ever reclusive even in his life before the Fog, the only person that lived to remember Philip was his ex-boyfriend Royce. But then, Royce was under the suspicion Philip was directly helping Azimov, one of the causes for their final split (it’s a long story.) While Royce heard Philip went missing after Asimov's disfigured body and the dead kidnapping victim were discovered, he thought and still thinks it more likely he'd fled after killing his boss and a random bystander rather than was a third victim.

While Rin is certainly remembered, it's more as a tragedy than a person. The slaughter within the Yamaoka Estate is still fresh in the minds of Kagawa Prefecture's locals, occuring as recent as 2009- but, like many cases from Japan, Rin's tale is sadly region locked. While there are still occasional whispers in prefectures as far as Oita and Saitama, the Yamaoka tragedy never left the country. She has a symbolic grave on the grounds, along with the bodies of her mother and father.

Talbot’s parents were obsessed with being accepted by English high society; they didn't care when he moved away or where to, until someone inquired and they had the opportunity to brag about how their son had gone off to study at the London School of Medicine. When not even a letter returned, they began to concoct grand tales of their son's exploits to bolster their own images. When the questions about Talbot dwindled and ultimately died out, so did the majority of his parents' thoughts about him- save for the occasional wonder here and there. No one ever had reason to suspect he may have perished- and in fact vastly outlived both his parents by almost two decades- thus there is no headstone bearing his name.

It’s been forever since I’ve shared an obscure CD rip so today I’m treating you to the Dr. Rin ni Kiite Miite! Happy Uta (Song) Collection image album!. Originally released in 2001, this CD contains 8 character songs (and duets) that vary from fittingly lovely (Meirin’s “My Destiny”), to dramatic and emo (Tokiwa-chi’s “LOVE IS RAINY”), right through to whatever-the-fuck is happening with Eddy & Takoyaki’s duet, “Tsuyoki na Muse.”

While obviously of the era, these character tracks are solid despite none of them being handled by the series composer, Arisawa Takanori (best known for his work on the music for anime like Sailor Moon and Digimon before his untimely passing in 2005). I feel that for an early 00s shoujo anime, Dr. Rin ni Kiite Miite! was fairly blessed in terms of music and this is a fun sampling of voice actor talent across the board.

“She inherited incredible fury from her ancestors. The wrath that flows through her veins is her legacy. The terrible pain she suffered set it off. Swift and lethal, The Spirit exacts her revenge endlessly.”

Rin was the only child of the Yamaoka family. She was raised in the dusty halls of a traditional house in Kagawa. She studied Education at Takamatsu, a private university, which weighed heavily on her family's shaky finances. Her mother got ill that year and the bills started piling up. Rin worked part-time in a futile attempt to help lighten the load.

Her father faced a debt that grew without end. He started working double-shifts in hopes of obtaining a promotion. That's when he started losing sleep. A dark whisper would keep him awake all night, reminding him of his hopeless situation. Exhausted, he started to lose grasp of reality. Fighting to deny what the voice whispered at night, Rin's father made a desperate move. He met with his superior and explained his situation. He begged for a bonus, an advance, time-off---anything.

His request was denied. The company had launched a defective production line that was costing them dearly. Someone had to be held accountable and Rin's father fitted the bill perfectly. He was fired after twenty-two years of service.

That evening, Rin came home from work. She'd stayed late to entertain customers that lingered at the restaurant. As she parked her bike in the shed, she heard her mother's scream come from the house.

She rushed in, climbing up the stairs to her parents' room. There she found bits and pieces of her mother on the floor. Her limbs were clean-cut, tangled up in an unnatural position. Her breasts were sliced up, revealing her rib cage, which was cracked open. Rin gagged.

A sharp Katana came crashing down. Rin blocked the blade, which bit into her bare forearm. The shock of recognition interrupted her pain: her father was wielding the Katana with a stoic expression. She cried out to make him stop, but he slashed her arm again.

She rushed off and slid on the blood-smeared floor. Using the door frame as support, she raised herself up. The Katana ripped through the wall, cleaving her other arm. She screamed in pain as she limped into the hallway, only to be met by her father's blade.

She stepped back, trembling, as she held together the soft loose flesh of her abdomen. Images of her mother's tangled limbs flashed before her eyes.

Rin charged at her father, making him stumble back. He punched her torn abdomen and she recoiled in pain. As she struggled to get back up, he slashed her thigh, making her collapse on the floor.

As she crawled towards the stairs, he grabbed her hair and yanked her against a partition. The glass shattered on impact and she fell through, landing one floor down.

She heard footsteps somewhere above her. With effort, she moved, worming her way into a sea of broken glass. The shards gnawed at her, ripping her flesh. He had to be stopped. He would not get away with what he'd done to her--with what he'd done to her mother.

Coughing up blood, her chin grazed the glass, adding to the bleeding. A low-pitched heartbeat started to ring in her ears. Her body felt so heavy she could no longer move.

The ground shook with her father's footsteps. She knew she was not going to make it, but she no longer cared. She would make him pay, in this life or the next.

A dark Fog slowly veiled her eyes, but it could not subdue her rage. She would not rest--not yet. The darkness whispered, promising blood and revenge.

An oath was made and Rin closed her eyes.

 This time as well we’re going to have to wait for, all of Morning alone…

  Being able to hold this concert,

Hello Pro Dance Academy members,

 We’re all together~

  When I saw this today I was also surprised!

  Mei-chan, Kawamuu, Rin-chan, Dan-chan, Saorin, Takase, Maekoko! With these wonderful members,

 We’re have a concert with this new group

  How will it be, I’m looking forward to it personally

 Now I’m in “unit 3”

I’m a little happy about the name as we didn’t have one

 March 12~

In addition we plan to hold this nationwide

 For this concert tour as well, towards infection countermeasures,

Thank you as a guest for wearing masks,

Being always seated, and refraining from cheering

 Thank you for continuing to cheer us on…!

 I like swordfish--!

The steaks are delicious, right--!

 Selling swordfish at super markets,

Please take a look at where they come from

 There should be many from Kesennuma and Miyagi!

 Its seems like they catch the most swordfish in Kesennma

 In such a place, I learned a lot of things also I received a lot of delicious things
