Happy Valentine’s Day!! (Masaki x Reader)

You blinked at the large stuffed bear being shoved into your face, its owner hidden behind the bear’s big, googly-eyed head. The bear was white with pink and red hearts, and in its hands it held a felt piece of chocolate that read ‘My Sweet Valentine’ in a golden cursive font. You cocked your head, suddenly feeling a little underwhelming standing in your pajamas in the doorway of your apartment. “Masaki?”

Masaki popped the bear down so you could finally see his beaming smile, a smile so wide you sometimes wondered if it was painful to keep up. “Ah, sorry,” he apologized, taking note of the fact that it looked like you had just woken up (which you had). “I guess I got a little overzealous. I should have called first.”

“No, it’s fine,” you said. You stared down at the bear in his hands in confusion. “But… what’s this?”

“Huh?” Masaki’s shoulders slackened. “Well, I wanted to get you something for Valentine’s Day. Sorry it’s not much. I thought maybe roses, but they just die so quickly—“

“Masaki,” you tried interrupting, but he kept going.

“I was going to ask if you wouldn’t mind me cooking dinner for us tonight. I was going to make reservations, but everything’s just so booked out—“

“Masaki,” you said, a little louder this time. Masaki stopped talking, and you couldn’t help but smile and shake your head. He really was too good to you. “I appreciate it, I really do,” you said, taking the bear from his hands to hug it tightly against your chest. “And I would love to have dinner with you tonight. But…”

“But?” Masaki’s face fell slightly.

“But,” you continued. “Valentine’s Day is tomorrow.”

“…Huh?” Masaki frantically dug his phone out from his jacket pocket, clicking on the screen to see that it was, in fact, not yet Valentine’s Day. Masaki groaned and brought his fist up to his head. “Ah, I got so excited that I didn’t even get the date right. Stupid.”

You giggled at him, shaking your head before leaning in to give him a quick, chaste kiss on the nose. His face brightened, and he was smiling again. “That’s okay,” you assured him. “Let’s just celebrate today. The day doesn’t really matter, does it?”

Masaki nodded in agreement, swooping in to give you a quick peck of his own on the apple of your cheek. “Any day is Valentine’s Day when I’m with you,” he agreed.

Departing from my habit of only posting about Farscape to post about Scorpius to say: it's been several days and I'm still thinking about how romantic it was that John was singing a scottish folksong to himself while he was looking for Aeryn in that one episode. Nothing could possibly be more romantic for these specific characters than a folk song about how you'll never be in a specific place with your love again and I'm so serious.

something or other about both cobra and yamato projecting noboru onto chiharu but with yamato that manifests as him wanting to protect chiharu vs cobra avoiding him and not wanting to get involved (only for his real feelings to come out when he's drunk) (slapping chiharu for good luck the way he used to do noboru and hugging him after deciding he's fit for sannoh)

ppl usually just associate low honor Arthur with being evil. But it's not that simple. Low honor Arthur is a man who has accepted that he is and always will be the sinner. ("You don't get to live a bad life and have good things happen to you").

Low honor Arthur still cared but he was more taken over by the utter betrayal of Dutch. How Dutch has given up all his morals and so blatantly uses people and leaves them behind to die. He feels used by Dutch. Low honor Arthur is so taken back and the anger from that betrayal is the primary point of him. In that sense he is more selfish than his high honor counterpart.

Low honor Arthur is a man who didn't change. A man who stood his ground even when the whole rest of the gang pointed a gun at him.

In general honor is not about who Arthur is but rather how he reacts to his tuberculosis and the end times of the gang. What he decides to do.
