the demonising of astoria greengrass is probably one of the worst things that some drarry and dramione shippers do.

It’s like anytime a female character gets in the way of a ship she is portrayed as the worst character ever.

astoria was canonically a good person who helped change draco for the better why can she not still be nice in fics where they don’t end up together?!?! (this is also the case with lily in jegulus fics, why is it ok for women to be seen as horrible abusive people all because you want another ship to work???)

the way james and sirius would’ve loved the 2010s like tell me they wouldn’t have ran around dabbing and they would definitely have been famous on vine, like the marauders would have started some kind of magcon group im sure of it and they’d have made challenge videos and done cringey pics at meet and greets 😭😭

James Potter going to florist!reader’s shop and having the worst allergies ever.

James doesn’t actually need a job (he’s very rich) so he just likes popping in and out when he’s not doing all the millions of hobbies he’s started and got bored off after a week.

He would love helping organise bouquets with her so would always down play how bad his allergies actually are. she could tell but didn’t wanna upset him so just let him help out, it makes him even happier than he normally is so it’s all good.

James wouldn’t order flowers because he knows reader is already so busy, so he just does simple acts of kindness like bringing her and the employees lunch and snacks or coffee when they need it.

James always found his name to be kinda plain although he loved it because it was what his mother named him but when they have babies (whether it be humans or furry babies) he would go through all the rare flower names begging reader to name them after it or at least give them a cool middle name.

it would go kinda like this:

james : Selenicereus grandiflorus

reader: what do you mean jamie?

james: the babies name, we could call her Selenicereus grandiflorus

reader: jamie how is the baby supposed to say that never mind spell it, i can’t even spell that and it’s a mouth full don’t ya think?

james: but babyyy we could call her night bloom for short, pleaseeee

i know the wizarding world had so many cool magical creatures but despite growing up around them i still feel like sirius, james and peter wouldn’t believe that dinosaurs existed.

like in my head i think remus would’ve been really interested in dinosaurs so maybe in first year he had a t rex teddy or some sort of little figurine to remind him of home and maybe peter being a bit nosy would ask what it was and then the other boys would be curious too, so remus would explain and they would be so adamant that remus is wrong like sure dragons are real but t-rex’s with tiny little arms couldn’t have been walking the planet no way. it would drive remus insane and eventually in their fourth year summer they would all meet up and he’d take the boys to a museum to show them the bones and prove for once and all that dinosaurs did exist.

i have such a clear image in my head of james and sirius doing a friends couples costume.

sirius dressed up as a prince (prince caspian vib3s;) ) and james being a dragon, like tell me you don’t think james would have so much fun running around and roaring at people like the nerd he is and sirius would love hitting people with his fake sword.

pete and remus would also have couples costumes so no one would be feeling left out.

sometimes i just daydream about how cool of a person james potter would be like he’s smart, funny, athletic, good looking, loving and so much more. it would be insane to think any non fictional boy could match his level

baker!james that makes fresh pastries for his weekly sunday brunch. He even makes his own jams!

He gets up at the crack of dawn and prepares bowls of fruit, bagels, croissants, cinnamon rolls and more.

All the marauders show up remus and sirius with their daughter, peter with his shy fiancé as well as effy and monty because they know how happy jamie gets when his family is all together.

Jamie lets his own babies decorate the table while reader gets to sleep in because although james knows she’s the most beautiful girl in the galaxy she insists she needs her beauty sleep and he’d never deny her that.

james is a big clumsy boy. he’s always got scratches and bruises on his arms and legs as well as cuts on his big calloused hands from and the tripping and slipping he manages to do, he’s basically got two left feet. it somehow never effects quidditch tho he’s just a natural

James Potter definitely went vegetarian after becoming an animagus, the guilt of eating animals was too strong for him and all the gryffindors were so confused and scared to eat the meat at the table in case it was another prank because everyone knew how much james loved his meat so for him not to eat it was odd.

i can only imagine how devastated walburga would’ve felt finding out regulus died when looking at the tapestry, maybe she thought that he had decided to be like sirius and runaway only he didn’t have anyone to run to so death was his only option. Losing both her sons would drive any mother mad even if she didn’t agree with their believes there was a time they were her little boys.
