I really want to explore Tim “rich kid” Drake spending time with his friends and them just slowly realizing that Robin is even weirder than they thought.
Like, Arrowette complains about some press event or something that her mom wants her to go to and Robin just starts listing off advice and unspoken rules and tells her to absolutely avoid the shrimp cocktails unless she wants an early out, in which case the correct amount to eat is one and a half shrimp with only a bit of cocktail sauce, which will be enough to change her complexion and convince people she doesn’t feel well and allow her to escape to the restroom, then she just needs to slip out one of the windows-
Or Wonder Girl commenting on, like, a science fair project or something and he just goes “Science fairs are the worst. Everyone wants to buy your services to make them something, not understanding that you’re richer than they are and that an insult to you could lead to you buying their parents’ companies if they don’t shut up. They’re lucky I have an even temper…” WG: “…wat.”
Superboy is like “man, Superman’s trying to convince me to clean my room. What should I do?” and Tim just stares blankly at him because nobody has ever told him to clean his room before and he’s never cleaned his room before and he had no idea Clark was so cruel and-
Impulse: “Hey, Rob, pass me a can opener.”
Robin, staring into the drawer, fifteen can openers right in front of his eyes: “We don’t have one.”
I just want Tim to inexplicably not know some things because he’s never had to know them. I want him to explicably know things because he had to know them. I want the things he does know and the things he doesn’t to be totally backwards to everyone, who are all wondering why Robin knows how to hotwire a car but does not know how to work a vacuum cleaner.

Jonathan?
favorite thing about them
i luv that he loves his family so much and he’s a really caring person and he tries so hard to do the right thing but he’s not afraid to be a bitch if the situation calls for it and i love that he’s like a shy little edgelord but he isn’t even really that much of an edgelord bc he’s fucking constantly giving everyone in his life pep talks and shit... but my favorite thing about him is his gay little sweaters
least favorite thing about them
taking pictures of nancy and then being like well it’s bc ur not REAL but u were REAL in that moment u stopped PRETENDING!!! like oh my god shut UPPPPP shut UP. shut UP. he did shut up tho and he hasn’t pulled any of that shit since... so my official least favorite thing about jonathan is how he’ll just randomly pull a 180 on his opinions and morals whenever the plot wants him to. which is not really his fault. so.
favorite line
i’m cheating and picking two but they’re from the same conversation so: “It’s 6:00 AM and, uh, I had a late night with Fagin and the gang, so-” & when nancy asks if will’s safe and he says “Why wouldn’t he be safe? Nancy? Why wouldn’t he be safe?”
like. god if that’s not jonathan in one phone call. fucking nerdy little bitch who cares about nothing more than just making sure his little brother is safe and happy and cared for. fuck. also i think that phone call is like charlie’s best work on the whole show literally just that one bit where he’s like “why wouldn’t he be safe?” makes me want to DIE every time.
brOTP
idk argyle yet but jargyle bc god knows johnny boy deserves to get high sometimes. also i think jonathan and robin could be really fun together i hope they interact some in s4

.....................j*ncy
random headcanon
jonathan uses 3-in-1 i know this for a fact i also know that he’s never heard of a skincare routine and he washes his face with regular bar soap. he’s a very clean person like he showers regularly and everything he just basically uses the most shitty abrasive products known to man even when he does have the money to get nice stuff. sometimes he thinks he should try to be fancy and do the self care thing but then he’s like mmm that lotion is $2 kinda steep idk about that :/ he and steve become friends and within like a month steve is like hey man my mom got me this shampoo and conditioner and leave-in conditioner and hair gel and face wash and moisturizer and sunscreen for uhhhh doing the yardwork but this stuff is all like TOTALLY wrong for my hair and skin type so i was wondering if you could use it it’ll all just go to waste otherwise :) and jonathan KNOWS what steve is doing and he’s offended but he isn’t offended as a poor person like he’s offended as a dumb boy being given all these products he doesn’t know what the fuck to do with bc he's like how did steve know i don’t own moisturizer... can he just tell from looking at me.... does everyone know i don’t own moisturizer or is steve just a preppy little bloodhound....
unpopular opinion
maybe this is not an unpopular opinion but i really truly believe that jonathan kissing nancy and sleeping with her in s2 was out of character and just bad writing. like... like i get it okay? i get that they were going for this thing where there’s just pent-up tension and he just decides to screw the consequences and go for it. but jonathan had literally spent the past YEAR ignoring his crush on nancy and he’d spent the past couple of days specifically worrying about steve’s feelings and encouraging nancy to talk to him, and reminding nancy that she and steve are together when she asks why she and jonathan aren’t together/closer. like i KNOW they showed him hyping himself up and chickening out a lot before he finally did it but i don’t think jonathan held himself back from making a move on nancy out of fear yknow i think he held himself back out of respect for nancy and steve and their relationship and i don’t think anything meaningful really... changed between the night in the hotel room and the night at murray’s. nothing significant enough to change jonathan’s moral views on the situation. obviously, murray talked to them, but i think that’s such a weak justification and so far in the show jonathan really has not been the sort to just go along and do something because somebody tells him he should, ESPECIALLY if that somebody is some random guy he doesn’t even know!! in fact, NOT listening to the shit people tell him he should do is kinda his whole thing!! there’s just no goddamn reason for him to have made the first move there and i think it shouldn’t have happened, or at the very least nancy should have made the first move or they should have done something to give jonathan a clear change of heart.
so yeah i just have really strong opinions about the characterization of a character who’s like super inconsistent bc 70% of the time he’s just used as a plot device anyway.
also he’s gay <3
song i associate with them
disco! in the panic room by bug hunter!!
favorite picture of them
i’m cheating but here’s a gif i made that i’m never gonna post otherwise but i would like for people to see <3
Tumblr media
ok i lied i’m also gonna put a picture because this is too fucking funny

Answer the odd numbers!
Oh, wow, that’s a lot XD I’ll try to do as many as I can, but I shall try to keep it briefer than usual. If something is too difficult, then I’ll skip. Let’s go! 1) Spotify, SoundCloud, or Pandora? My friends are trying to get me into spotify, I tend to use soundcloud more, but my preferred way of finding new music has often ended up being accidentally leaving youtube on in a tab after a song finished, and having it cycle through sort-of related music.
3) what color are your eyes?Reasonably light brown. Someone was once nice enough to tell me they look like honey, when I’m in the sun.
5) what is your relationship status? Not where I see myself in the longterm.
7) what color hair do you have?Darkish brown. I dye it almost exactly the colour it naturally is. Or was, before the Grey Hair Fairy frosted my temples with some serious silver.
9) where do you shop? The high street, and online? Nowhere particularly fancy. Occasinally I’ll be tempted by something off etsy. 11) favorite social media accountIn terms of personally, I keep up with a lot of people I don’t see often through facebook. But I really enjoy the community we have here. 13) any siblings?A younger sister and a much younger brother. I’m the dorky, embarrasing but protective eldest.
15)favorite snapchat filter? Um… I don’t use snapchat often. Hmm. Anything that lets you transform two pictures at once, because then I can pull someone else in for a selfie! XD17) how many times a week do you shower?Weird question, but the answer is; as often as I can. You want to wash the hospital off you. 19) shoe size?Either 4, 41/2 or 5 in UK sizes (so between 37 and 38 in European sizes), no idea what that is in US measurements. It’s small enough that sometimes I end up in the kiddy section.
21) sandals or sneakers? Depends on for what. Sneakers are generally good for most things, but there are times when sandals are more appropriate.
23) describe your dream dateI don’t know about dream, but a nice lunch on a sunny day, followed by a trip to a gallery or a museum, or perhaps a nice walk is 1000 times better than catching drinks in a crowded bar. As for anyone who drags someone to excercise on a ‘date’…no. Just no. 25) what color socks are you wearing? They happen to be black socks with tigers on them.
27) do you have a job? what do you do? I sometimes give hope, I always give support, but I cannot always give life when time has run out.
29) whats the worst thing you have ever done? The thing I’m most cringey about is the time I offended a classmate in primary school. I must have been 7. They asked me why I didn’t invite them to my party, and I gave them a reason that was both untrue and rude, and in the end I invited them and I came. But I’m still not sure why I did that.
31) 3 favorite boy names
I don’t know. Names I prefer in guys I’m seeing? Or for future kids? Or characters? Because those answers would all be different…
33) favorite actor?Right now, let’s say Robin Williams and Emma Thompson. I could say more, but then we’d be here all day.
35)who is your celebrity crush?I’m going to have to be really, really cliche and say Tom Hiddleston. That voice would sound compelling even if it was just reading out his shopping list, and he has really nice hands. I also think Jensen Ackles is pretty ahem, delectable, too.
37) do you read a lot? whats your favorite book? I love to read, with a passion. But I go through periods where I read a lot, and others when I read much less. Picking one book would be an impossibility.
39) do you have a nickname? what is it? Trying to find one which isn’t some derivative of my name, or just plain weird is hard.
41) top 10 favorite songsThis would probably require too much thought to answer right now.
43) what is your skin type? (oily, dry, etc)Oily. Definitely wasn’t blessed on the skin front, but such is life. Weirdly, friends keep telling me they thinl I have clear skin, and I’m like ‘whose face have you been looking at?!’ Which just does to show that we’re the only ones who notice our own blemishes. Take for example, scars. I have a few (!!) on my face, and people can know me for years and not realise they are there. Then literally turn around one day and say “OMG, what happened to your FACE?” To which I reply… “Um, nothing? It’s always like this.”.
45) how many kids do you want? This is not something I’ve really thought about? Enough to keep each other company, but not so many that I’m spending the next 500 years changing nappies. So 2 or 3, I guess?
47) what type of house do you live in? (big, small, etc) Whatever kind of house I can afford. I don’t realistically see myself affording to live in London, and I don’t realistically see any chance of a big house if I live in the UK. But such is life.
49) what was the last compliment you received? On one of my recent night shifts, one of the nurses asked me where I was from. And I told her (people don’t usually know, or care, much about my country, but I see no reason to lie), and she said “I wanted to know why, because you are so confident. The way you talk” And I was taken aback. “Confident? ME? Really?!?”. To which she replied, laughing “You think you are not?”.  All this time I’ve been quite reserved, and always told by my seniors that I ought to have more faith in my clinical decisionmaking and just be more assertive, it was quite surprising to find out that someone saw me bumbling along on my night shift and thought I looked and sounded confident. 51) how old were you when you found out santa wasn’t real?Probably around 7? I was apparently not amused. I can’t remember. In retrospect, perhaps it’s odd that I always knew about the birds and the bees but not about Santa.53) opinion on smoking? Not a good idea, but often understandable. Nearly always started when we are very young, in order to fit in or belong. I grew up with one parent being a smoker (they quit, yay!) and have friends who smoked since their teens, so I can understand how hard it is to give up, and what addiction means. But one thing I really don’t understand is grownups “socially smoking”. At all. It’s flirting with addiction, has no benefits, and just drains your money?  I feel that most people my age who indulge in social smoking really should probably know better. But then that applies to many things in our lives.
55) what is your dream job? To be a magical girl/superhero. Being a doctor who draws comics shall, however, suffice until I get called into service by a cute magical familiar.
57) do you take shampoo and conditioner bottles from hotels? I used to use them, but I wouldn’t say that I would stock up on the whole stash. Though I have a sad feeling that they chuck the ones you don’t use, so maybe we should all be taking them?
59) do you smile for pictures?I used to never smile for pictures, because I had over-large incisors with a noticeable gap in them, and felt really self-conscious about them for most of my life. Then I stopped caring. But lately I realised my teeth no longer look oversized, and the gap has kind of shrunken, a little to my dismay.
61) have you ever peed in the woods? Another bizarrre question. I don’t hang out in the woods, but if there were no toilets within reasonable access, then I would? Pee is aseptic and the entirety of nature does it, plus it’s hardly going to get in anyone’s way?
63) do you prefer chicken nuggets from Wendy’s or McDonalds?I don’t even think we HAVE Wendy’s, so I guess the golden arches win by default?65) what do you wear to bed? Pajamas, because it’s usually cold? Unless we’re talking about entertaining…
67) what are your hobbies?Answering memes and solving the internet’s problems. Sometimes I draw. 69) do you play an instrument?I cannot manipulate notes like I manipulate words. I sort of learned the recorder and piano a little bit, but despite lovely encouragement, I don’t have the time nor the patience it would take to be good at music. I find it a very attractive quality in others, though!
71) tea or coffee?Coffee in the morning, tea at teatime (duh) and hot chocolate at night.73) do you want to get married?I would like to end with a relationship that is stable, comfortable and friendship blended with being lovers. It’s not that a piece of paper has meaning, rather that being sure you want to be with someone for the forseeable future is what makes it special. Sometimes it takes being willing to discuss that bit of paper for both parties to truly know how sure they are to share each others’ lives. 75) are you going to change your last name when you get married? Definitely not intending to. Sometimes my last name is a pain, because nobody can spell it, or pronounce it. And it’s so long that hyphenating would make it even more of a pain than it already is. But I’m attached to my name, it’s a part of me and my ethnic identity, and definitely am not going into relationships with an idea that I “have to take my husband’s name”. They can take mine, if they wish. Perhaps I’d be tempted to if someone’s name was just incredibly awesome, who knows? I would rarely rule anything out before the fact. But I certainly don’t intend to.
77) do you miss anyone right now? Yep. Don’t we all?
79) do you believe in ghosts?I’ve never seen one, and I’d rather not, thanks. I believe in not tempting fate and staying in my own lane, paranormally speaking. 81) last person you calledFunnily enough, just a work colleague. I missed a call at work (we were both on call) , and called them after the shift, which is when I realised they’d called. Fortunately we’d already taken care of the situation.
83) regular oreos or golden oreos? What is a golden oreo? Regular, since I know no other kind.
85) what shirt are you wearing? The pajamas my aunt and recently deceased gran gave me for my last birthday.
87) are you outgoing or shy?Shy.
89) do you like your neighbors? My flatmates are OK, but keep themselves to themselves and work far too many shifts (no doubt they’d say the same about me!). I don’t know everyone else in the building. 91) have you ever been high? Who needs to be high when you’ve been a teenage girl?93) last thing you ate? Soba noodles. 95) summer or winter? Summer. It’s when you are warm and sunny, and can go for long rambling walks all day. Winter is too dark, I feel like I don’t get any sunlight at all in the winter
97) dark, milk, or white chocolate? All of the above. If I had to pick one, then dark?99) what is your zodiac sign?I’m a leo, but I never thought it represented me. People always assume Leos are brash, loud, confident  extroverts who wear leopard print and go to all the parties. Meanwhile, here I am with  a cat under my arm wondering why that’s meant to be me. Though, I really hate the idea of someone telling me what I’m meant to be like, horoscopes or life in general. Like, they don’t even know me. The nerve. So perhaps there’s a little bit of that kind of imperiousness about me, after all.

The best conditioner for men: 15 products for every hair type
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because anyone who has ever had a really good – or worse, really bad – fading, will tell you, good hair counts. And yet, beyond a little styling product, men often neglect their hair as if it were a universal hobby. Then comes 30, the crown starts to appear, the madness gets thinner, and panic sets in.
Instead of interventions, prevention could be the way forward. Hair care is the fastest-growing category in men's care, with branded serums, milk, masks and oils being introduced more quickly than one can say, high and tight. That's why a shampoo just does not cut it anymore.
Just as your skin care routine should include a cleanser, toner, serum, and moisturizer, hair care should be more than a simple step. This is where the conditioner comes into play.
What is a conditioner?
"Conditioner is used after the shampoo to improve the feel, texture and tone of the hair," says Jordan Garrett, renowned stylist at A-list hair salon Hershesons. "It first became popular because it was able to reduce the friction between the strands, which meant that brushing, combing or blow-drying the hair became infinitely easy. Essentially, the conditioner helps repair your hair by providing moisture and moisture. "
Should men use conditioners?
Although typically associated with the type of 10-step Korean skincare routine used by the fairer sex, men have even more reason to use conditioners, Garrett points out. "Male hair is more susceptible to hair loss, its scalp is more susceptible to the elements (with traditionally shorter hair) and they often use products like gels or waxes that can accumulate, creating unnecessary oil and congestion."
Why should you use conditioners?
A bad hair day is just a bad day, but the chances of that happening can be minimized with the right products. "The conditioner is so important to conditioning your hair," says Garrett. "While shampoo is great for getting rid of dirt, pollution and excess oil, it's a conditioner that provides the nutrients needed for full, healthy locks."
The best ingredients for hair conditioner
"While the hero's ingredients in many shampoos are astringents that remove oil and dirt, conditioners are the opposite," explains Garrett. "They are usually filled with plasticizers, moisturizers, vitamins and minerals; like a green juice for your hair. "The best conditioners have a richer, thicker texture than shampoo, which is made from natural oils like argan, coconut and general fatty acids.
How to use conditioner
Even if you think you have all the shower thing down, you could use the conditioner incorrectly. "A good rule of thumb is to use about three tablespoons," says Garrett. While it is common practice to wet the product and leave it in the shower for a few minutes, the conditioners can be stored longer if you have time. Just be sure to wash it off if the instructions say so, otherwise you may find your hair is straining and your scalp is covered with the product.

Aveda Be Curly Conditioner is a supple conditioner

Aveda's Be Curly formula uses a wheat protein and organic aloe blend to process all three, making it ideal for a tight curl or even a looser wave – just leave it in for less time.

Get to Know the Admins~
Hey Guys!!
We’re so ecstatic to have reached yet another milestone in such a short time. How long has it been? seven months? Time flies by when you’re having such a great time.
And most importantly, we’d like to thank all of you dedicated and sweet people for reading our fics, leaving a like and even reblogging them. Your efforts never fail to put a smile on our face :)
Although we love seeing you guys in our notifications, we’d also love seeing you in our inbox, anonymous or not, so to help you all out, we made this ‘get to know the admins’ post so that you can see we’re just as awkward and funny as the rest of you :)
So let’s get to it~
Tumblr media
1. DO YOU SLEEP WITH YOUR CLOSET DOORS OPEN OR CLOSED?
M: Closed, I get super paranoid about these things.
S: Same, tbh.
2. DO YOU TAKE THE SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONER BOTTLES FROM HOTELS?
S: um, *laughs nervously* sometimes I guess lol
M: Lmao, criminal activity or wut? Tho I’ve done it a lot when i was younger, tbh.
3. DO YOU SLEEP WITH YOUR SHEETS TUCKED IN OR OUT?
M: Tucked out. It’s too stuffy otherwise.
S: How does one sleep with it tucked in? I’m all for tucked out
4. HAVE YOU STOLEN A STREET SIGN BEFORE?
S: Lol no?
M: Same, but it sounds interesting enough. Wanna go try it out? xD
5. DO YOU LIKE TO USE POST-IT NOTES?
M: Yes, I am super obsessed with them. My desk is sort of decorated with sticky notes right now, actually.
S: I like them, they’re nice and organized but I cannot, for the life of me, get them to stick properly Istg
6. DO YOU CUT OUT COUPONS BUT THEN NEVER USE THEM?
S: I don’t usually shop so I don’t even have coupons lol
M: Sometimes yes.

S: SAME, I hate bees
8. DO YOU HAVE FRECKLES?
S: Unfortunately not
M: Nope.
9. DO YOU ALWAYS SMILE FOR PICTURES?
M: What is a smile, but a fleeting lie? Jk, I don’t
S: I always smile, whether it be for photos or just in general. Although Midnight does have a way of ruining my life :)
M: Rude. I’m a nice person, I promise.
10. WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PET PEEVE?
S: I don’t really know. I guess when people who you take care of and are generous to, treat you like shit?
M: Somehow, I feel like that’s me TT. I have quite a few pet peeves, actually, but to name one: you know when people crowd into your personal space? Yeah, it’s the worst :’(
S: And I know for a fact that you’re referring to me there but that’s okay because I love you~~
M: Why.
11. DO YOU EVER COUNT YOUR STEPS WHEN YOU WALK?
M: No, not really, unless I’m climbing the stairs and want to reach the top as soon as possible (I’ve had to climb like 4000 stairs before, ok)

15. DO YOU CHEW YOUR PENS AND PENCILS?
M: Nope, I mean that sounds unhygienic af. But, I know someone who does so...*meaningful glare*

25. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD?
M: I usually like spicy stuff. Pani Puri’s good too, if you know what I’m talking about.

38. DO YOU SING IN THE CAR?
S: Yes! Very much and it bothers Midnight a lot on the bus.
