Paranatural, but some characters are robots and everyone has a complex about it

I have this idea for a kinda silly but also kinda dark au....

Y/n is a robot stationed on an alien planet. All the humans that used to live at the base y/n protects either died or left. So y/n has been alone, still eliminating any aliens that get too close to the base. They are definitely defective after years of battle and ware with nothing but self repairs.

One day, y/n kills Eclipse's mate in a battle. Eclipse, following his instinct, decides y/n is going to be his new mate. In his species, if someone kills your mate, that means they are, obviously, a better partner. His species lives for the kill, the fight, and the hunt.

I imagine through random shenanigans Eclipse somehow wins y/n over and they live happily ever after, killing everything in their wake.

This is kinda just an early draft and some design sketches, so things could change. This is kinda more of a silly idea then a full fledged au, but whatever

I think mettaton’s show would very intentionally refrence the vibes of various media he likes/fascinates him I just think he’s just. A tv/ movie freak. Writing love letters to media via esoteric surreal insane and violent sketches and bits LOL

Specially TV Time. Of corse. AND!! he will also inject the vibes unintentionally on occasion.. as one does when making art….

Tenna doesn’t notice either way HEHHE he does not remember everything he’s said. mettaton would have to point out the references for him to notice. And he’s not gonna do that ever especially with the episodes before Tenna is on. Simply a little embarrassed. And. Yes. I think people notice this.

OMG hanging out…. Imagining them going out to lunch together when they start working together but not calling it a date. Tehe.

BUT when there dating they are doing ACTIVITIES. Mini golf. Pottery Classes. Picnic. Wine tasting. And they are sooooo annoying at every place they go a person with anxiety’s worst nightmare they will talk to you and hype you up in a way that makes you feel like you’re being held hostage they make me SICKKK!!!!!! (lovingly) they are having FUN!!!!!

New Recruit || Venture x Reader

I’m so eepy and I’ve been writing all day I hope this is legible ily anon

Your first interaction was Reinhardt introducing you to Sloan, making things sort of awkward as he spoke for you instead of letting you do it yourself. You just kind of waved hello and let him do all the ranting of how great at the job you were, and how great the two of you would get along.

Venture stuck to your side, very excited for their first day with you and listened very intently for your advice. You led them out to the training grounds, going first for some aim training. The robot hovered meters away from you, and you simply used your weapon to shoot it from afar.

You showed off your other abilities, all used at a far range. “Go for the head, always. Critical shot.” “Stay back, you can’t take that much damage so I’ll need to have you close to heal you.” “Scatter your steps so the opponent won’t have a straight shot.” “Get them from above.” You lined out all the basics, before it was time for them to step up to the line.

Sloan awkwardly looked between you and their weapon and the robot, not doing anything. “Well? What’s going on, new recruit? It’s just a robot- he doesn’t have sentience.”

“I know that! It’s just,, Well your pointers are great, but…” they rev up their drill, demonstrating the low pressure behind their shots, missing the robot by a long shot. “Doesn’t work in my case. Sorry for wasting your time.” They look down sadly.

“Hey, no, it’s alright! We can come up with something!” You reassure them as the understanding hits them. “I didn’t say anything while you were showing me earlier, you looked so cool and focused and everything- I couldn’t interrupt.” They said, relieved that you weren’t upset. You understood.

You spent more time with them on assessing their strengths and weaknesses, showing them the best ways to move around the battlefield in their role. You were impressed at all the eliminations they were racking up , and how good of a listener they were.

Days went on, training consistently and using every trick you could think up to help them move forward in their hero career. You went on to show them how to escort civilians and payloads safely, and how to push ahead of the game to outsmart your enemies.

Sloan really looked up to you, and despite your differences you really did find a way to help them better themselves in understanding the hero lifestyle.

“You’ve been doing really good this past week, I’m really proud of how far you’ve come.” You compliment at the end of your last training session together. “I think you’re strong enough to be on your own now, but I’ll always be here to back you up so don’t be afraid to get in there, okay?”

“Thank you! I won’t forget anything you’ve taught me. You’re the best teacher!”

To celebrate their success and also officially being a recognized member of the team, you took them out to enjoy themselves for a night. You showed them a place Lucio took you when you first joined overwatch, a cool little hangout spot where all members were welcome. Drinks were free for heroes, and all kinds of arcade games and pinball machines lined up one wall. “Is there ice cream here?” Venture asked the person on the other side of the counter, and you decided to join in on the ice cream action as well.

Their childish behavior made you feel better about yourself, being stuck around all the older members all the time was starting to make you feel old too. It was nice to have someone closer to your age around. They really seemed to enjoy themselves, blowing off all their extra energy on games and being silly. You returned to the base with plushies to go all around, they had to give you a bag with how many toys Venture won. “Yeah, I’ve operated lots of excavators and cranes, I’m too good at those games.” They boasted, “you can keep this one! Something to thank you, for showing me around and stuff.”

You smile and accept their offer, and the plush would later find its way on your bed. Hanging out with Venture became a nightly occurrence, they never had you bored as they could talk about almost anything.

You liked having them around, and they were all too happy to be in your presence. You didn’t want to remember a time before them with his much positive energy they passed onto you. Perhaps you learned something from Sloan as well.

On the battlefield you found yourself saving their ass quite a few times, but the polite person always thanked you for your help, reminding you that you were essential. They would joke when you had to heal them from the edge of death, that you should have taught them to know better than to get into so much trouble. You would joke right back, that they couldn’t pay attention anyways.

You would follow Sloan around just as they would to you, just liking that you had a friend around here for once that really understands you. You may have even found Venture lingering in your thoughts at times, and you were in theirs as well.

You tried to keep it coworker friendly, but things couldn’t help but get touchy with Venture, they always wanted to hug you and rub on you like some kind of cat. It didn’t help that you both exchanged lots of gifts as well. You could be so flirtatious during the work day, but when you were alone things started to get quiet and awkward, like who will speak up first because it’s very obvious y’all want to kiss.

Sam Nook was made by AweSam. Well I said made.. more like Sam Nook is basically a construct that has all of AweSam’s memories and basically everything that makes AweSam well… AweSam. Sam was able to make him right after Dream got into prison, using Dream’s wild magic as well as some redstone and more powerful materials to power him up. But it’s not just the body- it’s like the equivalent of a computer system. Sam Nook isn’t human or a sentient being- it’s just a program to protect and help Tommy and the Lmanberg Kingdom. So it just follows Tommy around in a construct body that Sam made in his visage. Nowadays though it patrols the L’Manberg Kingdom Capital, helping and doing what it can.

Sam Nook throughout the decade though has.. learned a lot. He’s watched people interact, he’s watched people feel and emote. He’s watched a lot of things and he.. kind of envies it. All he does is be a protective program, and he envies that feeling of mortality a lot. He envies the relationships that Sam had (and lost), he envies just the feeling of.. belonging. All he is, is a machine. And when his body deteriorates, Sam picks him up and fixes him or just makes an entirely new body— and if he doesn’t well.. he’s just stuck in this lonely area in las Nevadas, where no one visits him but Sam himself. And he doesn’t like it.

He honestly longs for a day where he could have flesh, and just feel.. human.

But he wouldn’t ever say it to Sam- because the last time he did Sam just thought he was a faulty clone and they had to basically do a factory reset of his system.

He doesn’t like that. So he just needs to follow.
