Hey y’all! Say hello to
Ebott~
Tumblr media
Or at least the first wip of the ebott map! I have all the main (above ground) locations so far!
For those who are wondering, dark brown is rocky hilly land/cliff sides, rusty brown is mountain ranges, khaki is grassland, green is forest, and light tan is beaches obviously lol. I don’t think I need to say what the blue areas represent.
I’ll add descriptions of each landmark below the next picture.
Tumblr media
Alright starting from left to right:
Atlantis: home of the hadal monsters, the majority of this city is underwater, but some of it is accessible through the cliffs of bluefin island as well as floating buildings anchored to the shallower ocean around the island. The majority of Atlantis city houses its people in the curved section of the ocean trench by bluefin island. The buildings are carved into the rock.
Seashore: ebotts second largest beach town, seashore is a beautiful place where the majority of ebotts fishing trade takes place. It’s a popular vacation spot more for ebotts residents, but it does get some tourism too during holiday season.
Echo hills: the southernmost city of ebott, echo hills is a small city surrounded by grassy farmland. Due to the location, the place is raining more than not, and is perfect for crops that need lots of water! Echo hills is best known for its rice, producing just enough to sustain ebott.
Remembrance: located to the west on wells island, remembrance town houses one of the maintained entrances to the connected underground’s. It is also the point where the famine monsters were found and rescued. Here the royals placed the memorial of those left behind. Massive stone statues carved all over with the names of family who died underground or were left behind in the crash surround the caves entrance. A small town of monsters maintain the area, and some livestock are raised there as well.
The great dam: exactly what the name suggests, it’s just ebotts biggest dam. It’s part of the national forest so only a handful of maintenance workers and rangers actually live there. The dam is connected to waterfall lake.
The national forest entrance: this is the official way to see the national park, and access the maintained trails. Most of the park rangers live near here as well. There’s a small tourist trap too selling gift items, and farther up is a hunting lodge that opens during open season.
The Temple: located right in the middle of ebott, the actual temple building sits on top of three large mountains near kidney lake. The temple houses ebotts history and is a popular tourist spot. It also houses one of the maintained entrances to the underground, connected to some of the upper levels of waterfall.
NEW EBOTT: the largest city of ebott, and the capital of the county. New ebott has it all! The education, entertainment, shopping and jobs! And of course all the important big government buildings are here as well as most of the royals! New ebott is the only city connected to all the railroads and has the largest airport.
Rails Way: a city surrounding an important train stop, rails way is the in between rest stop between Portland and new ebott. Besides the trains passing through, it also is where trucks in ebott are made and fixed for the most part. There’s a few other factories in the city as well, like a few metal processing plants.
Metta Land: north to new ebott, this is basically a theme park, mega mall, and Hollywood all rolled into one spot. Metta land is so big that there’s even a few villages around it where its employees live. It also houses the only man/monster made entrance to the underground, going straight to hotland of course. What happens in metta land stays in metta land
Portland: this is the second biggest city of ebott located on the east. Almost all trade ships stop here. Portland is a bustling business city full of factories, and has a few houses of education too! It also houses most of ebotts navy and has the second largest airport.
Cape resort: located on the southern rocky cliffs, cape resort is in fact not a resort. It’s rocky, cold and generally horrible to live in if you’re not an aquatic monster lol. However it has an oil rig. Lots of hadal and sea monsters live there maintaining that oil rig.
New hope: new hope is a beautiful mountain town housing the entrance to snowdin, the largest entrance to the underground. It gets the largest amount of tourists year round and is a popular ski location during the winters as well. The parts of new hope that aren’t for tourists are mostly farmland or forests put aside for logging. Plenty of vineyards are in this area
Ridgeside factory: Ridgeside factory is ebotts main power plant and is directly connected to the core in hotland as well. It’s surrounded by a few villages too where more outdoorsy monsters live. Those who don’t work at the factory are either from hotland or are miners. The mountains in the area are littered with natural caverns being used as mine entrances
Golden valley city: the golden valley refers to the surrounding farmland, but in the very middle of it is the golden valley city. It is a rural type of place, is where the majority of ebotts produce passes through before being sold, and is a huge art center of the country. Just about everything above ground is grown in the valley surrounding the city.
Steeler city, the third largest city of ebott, steeler is where golden valley ships their produce to be preserved and spread around the rest of the country. Steeler is full of factories and restaurants. The most famous eating places of ebott are located here!
Crimson gate bridge: it’s a massive bridge named after the Golden Gate Bridge in California. This bridge is actually a sunny gold color, but they named it crimson in fear of being called copycats
Corncopia: a third farming community located between the split between white water river, ebotts biggest river. Corncopia is absolutely gorgeous but space is limited so it’s a fight to get any land there. The prime spots are taken by the rich for their homes or by the big wig farmers who cemented their place when the country was first forming
Not listed on the map is the underground! Ebott still has all the underground chambers from when the monsters were sealed away. New entrances to the underground are being discovered each day, and still plenty of monsters live there, preferring the comfort of a home they knew from before. Since there no longer trapped inside, the underground has become pretty comfortable. At least the discovered parts are ;)
I’ll describe the three main areas from smallest to largest
Hotland: hotland is really only a small thin chunk of the underground. A long but thin lake of lava surrounded by rocky chambers makes up the areas of hotland. The most popular spot of course is hotland city, connected to metta land, it’s pretty much the Vegas of ebott these days. The less visited spot, core, is a small town housing the core, connected to Ridgeside factory, and housing several research centers.
Snowdin. Snowdin is actual just the name of the small quaint town close to the underground entrance in new hope. They have year round skiing, and a pretty boat ride through waterfall straight to hotland for tourists. The outskirts of snowdin however have several villages filled with farmers growing magical crops that thrive in the cold temperatures.
Waterfall: it’s estimated that nearly 80% of the underground chambers are waterfall lands. Humid, cool but not frigid, and filled with varying levels of fresh and salt water, waterfall is underneath the majority of ebott, and even extends into the ocean some. Almost all of ebotts magical crops are grown down in the lived in parts of waterfall. It’s because of this area that ebott is self sufficient in feeding its people. Waterfall also houses the fourth and fifth largest cities of ebott; New Shell and Lily pad Fields.
Whew! That was a lot! I’ll probably add more to the map later on, but I think this is good for now

Why I Get It
Been having a lot of discussions with people recently regarding the Avatar universe and I came to the realisation that they get so much universal dislike BECAUSE THOSE PEOPLE HAVE NEVER TRULY EXPERIENCED THE KINDS OF TRAUMA AND GRIEF THE MOVIES DEPICT AND HAVE NO PERSONAL REFERENCE TO THOSE KINDS OF EMOTIONS SO THEY GO RIGHT OVER THEIR HEADS.
As someone who is not one of those people, I didn’t need anything explained to me. I saw it plain as day.
In my country, people praise the landscape. It’s a major selling point for both tourists and businesses. Rolling green rocky hills stretching off across the horizon. They call it the country’s natural beauty.
But it’s not. Those hills are what remains of a dead and dying selection of ecosystems including a rare type of rainforest. The trees and shrubs were burned away so people could hunt birds or graze sheep and cattle. Grasses and mosses took over where they could get footholds and people sing traditional songs about this environment like that’s normal. Our true naturally beautiful country died and we pack it up and sell it off to the highest bidders so they can flatten more of what survived to build more concrete eyesores so people can have a better view of it.
The local people live in squalor very close to these areas in comparison. Damp homes literally rotting apart. They get nothing from the building of all of the tourist traps. And yet they’re taught to take pride in it. Look at that natural beauty, doesn’t it make you proud that this is your country? They’re moved on out of the way to make space for false cultural sites, hotels and nature walking trails with no nature. They are allowed to walk and camp wherever they want technically by law but they have rules to abide by and they have no true control over what happens on that land and there’s less and less “wild” areas for people to walk with entire areas developed and blocked off to only those willing to pay for it.
One of the biggest most disgusting things in recent years has been the placements of an obscene amount of wind farms on these dead forests that would be better off with re-wilding. Metal predatory bird blenders coating the landscape and not allowing anything to grow that should have.
But re-wilding isn’t profitable. The hunters bring tourism money. The wool and lamb and mutton are prize exports. The wind farms are virtue signalling that the country is trying to go greener while ironically enabling the opposite.
The most darkly funny part about this being that people got so used to the dead deforested hills that they complain about the wind farms only from a visual standpoint. They’re blocking the view of something that shouldn’t even be like that to begin with.
Every time I go back I see more and more of the true natural beauty vanishing because it doesn’t sell as well as the fake one. Most forests you see traveling upwards are managed for logging and not actually wild. They’re surrounded by the desolate wastes. Sticking out as dark green against the faded mossy expanse.
In much the same way the culture has been going through the same motion. A fake idea of what it is sells better than the real thing.
When people hear me speak, ask me where I’m from and I tell them, they give me stories about how beautiful the place is and the cultures and customs of my homeland that they will correct me for stating that they’re made up or exaggerated for tourists like they know better than I do as a native of that place for decades. Sometimes people that have never been will tell me I’m wrong and they’re right about where I’m from or refuse to believe the truth of what I lived.
Many days I go out just living my life and it ends up turning into other people telling me that my dead country is so amazing and they want to go there someday but never do and I just want to tell them not to if they’re just going to ogle at those hills and put on some rented traditional dress and pretend to talk in a local language and support those that keep the place dead.
But I just want to get things done. So I bite my lower lip as hard as I can and hum like I’m listening with intrigue. Like I’ve not been hearing it for most of my life.
I’m just one man going up against the centuries of commodification and exploitation of the lands I took my first breath in that are ingrained deep like old scars within each generation of what I guess are “my people” but they would sooner turn on each other than fight the common enemy goading them into it.
Because not fighting all the time means they have free time to think about something else. Like why they’re fighting. Possibly even why their “enemy” is fighting them.
By blood, some in the country I was born would class me as not “truly” one of the same people as them. I’m part “coloniser” to them. Tainted and not trustworthy. My opinions and values are warped by the enemy. My mother was repeatedly given what John Howard Griffin accurately described to the response of chills going through my spine when I read it, a “hate stare”. As a very young child before I learned that people were nicer to me when I spoke more like my father and uncles and used their language, I would sometimes feel that look at me, too.
If people discovered that my mother wasn’t raised local, their demeanour would change in a flash. I was suddenly getting looks whenever I entered a room knowing they were saying things they didn’t want me to hear. I would be cut out and left alone. It was still preferable to having bricks through our windows like other families “harbouring settlers” did. There are still a lot of people that deny that it’s even a thing. But it happened then and happens now.
The best I can hope for to make a difference against all of this and raise up the awareness is for me to find my own success and be able to make a public platform of my own where I can openly talk about these things.
But until then, I just lead people to Avatar and give them a brief synopsis of what they might not understand on the first watch from my own experiences.
And I post warnings like these. Reminders that countries and cultures like mine exist across the globe and that despite Urban North American Anglophones being the vast majority telling others that the movies are flashy visuals with not much else, there are many more people that find a personal or cultural resonance in them across time zones and get the points being made that fly past those that don’t.
For anyone curious, my ecological nightmare birth country is Scotland. Think of what I told you the next time you look at a postcard or watch a travel blog about the place. That “beauty” is death. By praising it you encourage it. They won’t put back the trees if people keep believing the national lie that there shouldn’t be any and that it’s better that way. This image should look barely any different from Austria not Binthu.

Vacation Log: Zamboanga City
Hey guys! After such a long vacation, I am finally home with proper wifi to use and I can tell you all about my wonderful trip to Zamboanga City! Long post ahead
Tumblr media
First Day
It actually wasn't too eventful when we got there because my brother and I were so tired from the trip there and ended up napping for 5 hours since I didn't sleep at ALL the night before. The flight was at 5:40am so we had to get there at 3am and I couldn't sleep at all. 😅
After that my mom went to coordinate with the office of tourism to get us our stops for the next few days.
We had dinner at the hotel. My meal was Korean Chicken with garlic rice and a strawberry milkshake.
The meal itself was quite nice and I enjoyed that they added these chip things into the garlic rice. They warned me that the chicken might be spicy but as I ate it, I was wondering whether I just had a high spice tolerance or if it just isn't spicy at all.
Either way, we went to bed after that.
Second Day
For the second day, we had breakfast at the buffet. I got a ham and cheese omelette, rice, beef stew, and some bread with butter and strawberry jam
Once breakfast was finished, mom coordinated some trips again because we needed a ride.
Since my mom booked a trip SUPER FUCKING EARLY we had to buy food from the mall since there's no way we'd have enough time to eat breakfast with that sort of schedule.
On the way to the mall, my mom got an idea to get a ride from the taxi driver for a city tour on that day so instead we sorta went all over the city to check out all the notable locations.
The driver was really nice too, great guy.
The city tour was so FUN!!
Our first stop was this really fancy Church and I took a bunch of pics, trying to pretend I was a professional photographer codjodbskx
Tumblr media
Then I got to go to Fort Del Pilar
Tumblr media
There was a museum inside!! I learned so much about my country's history before colonisation!!!! It was one of my favorite experiences that day
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Among our stops was a trip to a butterfly garden, it wasn't very noteworthy though since it was kinda small and didn't have that many different butterflies 😅
But after that we got to go to the Yakan Weaving Village where I got three beaded bracelets and three earring sets :D
I think my mom also got some fabric from them
And not too get all sappy about this but I felt... happy when I bought the bracelets and earrings. It felt like I was connecting with and supporting my own culture. Growing up, I felt alienated to most of my peers because I struggled speaking Tagalog. Most people thought I was a foreigner in my own country even though I've lived here my whole life. I tried to get in touch with my roots by researching our history and culture but... I didn't feel like it was enough. I get insecure whenever my mom points out that I have an American accent whenever I try to speak Tagalog, which discourages me.
But that trip to immerse myself in my own culture felt so lovely to me. I was able to learn all sorts of new things! I found out that the process of weaving took 4 days to create and that the Yakans were modernising the craft a little. It gave me hope that such practices won't die out any time soon and that our traditions could live on for very long.
So that was day two, a great tour of the city while learning all sorts of new stuff about Mindanao culture. Apparently they also speak Chavacano according to the nice driver who told us some interesting stuff about living in Mindanao.
After the tour, we bid the driver goodbye and had dinner at a Japanese restaurant.
Third Day
Yeah we had to wake up early and left the hotel at 6am to go island hopping at the Once Islas. We rode on a boat to see 11 of the islands.
At one point we wanted to take pictures near some rock formations and something absolutely insane happened during this
So let's paint a picture first:
Imagine like this very rocky environment and I'm having difficulty traversing the land due to exhaustion. I see my brother getting his picture taken because he wanted a new profile picture for his facebook page so he poses like he's watching the sea with a contemplative expression. My mom is facing towards him with her back against the rocky wall.
I decide to rest a little so I was about to place my hand on the rock but I suddenly notice something long and bright green on the spot where I would rest my hand. My eyes adjust and realise...
It's a fucking snake staring at me.
It was about the size of my forearm and had such large black eyes. Honestly it was cute at first, especially since it was just sitting there.
I stepped back and calmly tried to tell my mom, "Mommy, don't panic. There's a snake beside you."
She turned around, saw the wild snake, then screamed.
But then started recording the snake??? 😭😭😭
Yeah so the tour guide brought us away from the snake but for some reason we just went further into the rock formation area instead of just leaving. We took a few pictures there and then returned to the beach.
When we went back to the area where the snake was, it was gone.
After that we went to the last island to swim at the ocean then finished the island hopping there.
On the way to Merloquet Falls, I decided to play HSR and won my 5050 at my second pull! I was so so happy I got Blade.
Then we got to Merloquet Falls. The way there was really long, like there was a shit ton of stairs.
Though, a dog kept following us all the way. It kinda freaked my brother out since he's a germaphobe.
Yeah so we got there and there was another dog apparently and at this point my brother was pretty upset because he didn't want to swim in a "germ-filled" place
Meanwhile I was ecstatic because holy shit the falls were BEAUTIFUL
Tumblr media
We were just gonna hang around there but then I got bored since there was no signal or wifi there so I went for a swim in the river near the falls. It was really fun. There was no sand (I hate sand) and the water was perfectly cold!
After we were done we had to go back through the stairs and it was hell for my legs. I was so exhausted I think I almost passed out by the time I got to the van.
My brother told me not to keep the aircon up so high because I could get sick from the cold but I didn't listen
Spoiler alert: I should've listened, got sick as soon as I got back to the hotel and couldn't last dinner before I got back to bed and fell asleep
Fourth Day
Woke up early that day again but was at least able to get some breakfast at the buffet. We went to Pink Beach and at first I was like "That doesn't look very pink" but then I got closer to see it up close and turns out there were little red pieces of coral fragments mixed into the white sand, which made it look rather pink.
So yeah we swam for a moment but mom told us we'd be getting a tour of the lagoon so at first I was a little miffed about being interrupted from my swim session but got over it.
We got a tour of the mangroves as well and I was really impressed by how clear the water was. I could see all the seagrass under the boat and the air smelled so clean.
I listened to the tour guide talk about the place and how the seagrass filters the water which is why it was so clear. He also explained how caviar sorta hurts the ecosystem due to how its made so he showed us the alternative to caviar, which was these sea grapes.
Then he asked us if we wanted to hold a jellyfish and that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, so obviously I accepted. Feeling the jellyfish was so fun, it was red and soft and slimy. It fit perfectly in my palm.
So after that we swam a little bit, had some lunch, then went back to the hotel to shower.
After the shower, we rushed straight to the mall to go see Barbie and Oppenheimer.
Barbie was awesome and is now my favorite movie ever next to like- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
I didn't feel too keen on watching Oppenheimer because it genuinely just doesn't seem that interesting to me but I was willing to sit through it since my mom and brother were looking forward to it.
We were going through the movie but then there were scenes of nudity and definitely not safe for children scenes. My brother is like 16 so he was allowed into the theatre after my mom showed his ID but he got disturbed by the nudity scenes and left.
I thought it was fine and kept watching it for my mom's sake even if my brother left but then she also decided to leave since she didn't want to leave my brother alone.
So yeah we didn't get to finish Oppenheimer.
After that we had dinner at KFC and decided to go shopping. I got a new jacket and a nice portable charger.
Then we went home.
And that's pretty much the end of the vacation since we left the next day.
More on the snake
so apparently we looked up what type of species the snake was extremely dangerous??
my mom keeps saying I saved her life but honestly I'm still horrified because I was a second away from accidentally touching that thing.
If I was too late in noticing then I would've been in a world of trouble 😭😭😭

Chapter outlines
Chapter 1: Heath arrives in the Philippines in 1987 after a transfer. He meets Lt. Page Fontanilla-Sy who is newly mintrd after years of being a Sargeant.
She will enter the Narcotics Division. But their meeting isn't well. Heath underestimates her.
"There are some culture aspects you have to deal with." Donald Rogan said, across Heath.
"Filipinos are touchy with level of closeness. Only call them by by their title and family name. No first names. Only reserved outside of work. Friends. Lovers. Other than that, you know which mostly unlikely, leaving shoes ."
"I will only be there for a few years wouldn't I?"
"Sure.'"
"Asia. Few miles down at home." Heath tapped his fingers.
"Your family-- all packed and ready?"
"Yes, we'll be going together soon."
"okay good luck."
The flight to the Philippines from LA Airport is in the air for four hours now.
Sara Heath, still rosy from the Mexican tan, as she flips through the tourism magazine.
"A mix of past and present. East meets west. Traditional and Modern. Exotic and western. Hmmm---" She looks at his husband, Ed who did not react and just rose an eyebrow.
Philippines had been an American colony, but they grew more in terms economic and technological advancements. Philippines is richer than Mexico so to speak and more advanced than US. THEIR number competitor is Japan. With progress comes drug addiction.
The next week was Sara's duty to register their kids, Bill and Rocky aged 18 and 15 to the schools. New one.
Except this time they don't need to learn the local language as the country has four official languages including Spanish and English. The others, Chinese and Tagalog, it would be interesting.
Ed meets the DEA Administrator Carl Holsbrook.
"I have to warn you, Ed, what you do in South America is quite different here. The Filipino government here, well, they have pride. Too much, I'd say thinking they can topple the drug Lords themselves. We can't go to China, so this is the closest."
Carl stopped at a studio, glass full open allowing to see the match. Carl points at one of the grapplers, tied auburn hair, in white fighter uniform and black belt.
Ed raised an eyebrow. "She's the squad leader for Precinct 07, PNP Narcotics Division."
"A she?" Ed asked a bit disgruntled. Though he sees her flipping the enemy on its back and tying back her hair again.
"Yes, she just became a Lieutenant months ago. And when the division was created, the General himself presented her."
Ed smirks almost mockingly. "I know a lot of women in the police force, but this isn't, drug business is not a place for a woman "
"Try telling that to my face." Almost chillingly, Paige spoke beside them, as she drinks from a bottled water. Her hands soaks wet from washing her hands and wipes it off.
"Lieutenant, how's that poor guy?" Carl asked.
"He won't tneed to visit a chiropractor, that's for sure."
"Darn. Anyway, this is the DEA attache, director of operations, Special Agent Heath. Ed, Lieutenant Paige Fontanilla-Sy of PNP Narcotics."
Ed extends her arm to her but she shakes her head starng at his large, hairy hands. "I would shake your hand but, it's all sweaty."
"I wouldn't mind." Ed quipped but Paige turned away. "I thought the formal introductions will happen tomorrow."
"We have pressing matters at hand." Ed said, "We thought you'll have a quick judgment of it."
"just as how quick you judged me for having non-existent balls?"
Ed side glanced Carl and cleared her throat.
"I apologize But I mean well."
They walk through outside, a table is there.
"We have a tip this morning, and we're going to have a raid with Cho Ren Shi. He's getting help from some Mexican, Tonto, given that you're came from Mexico, an Intel is best shared."
"What's the game plan?"
"Cut his source. Make him lose money."
"Hell only lose more."
"Hmmm... I doubt that "
"You need a better perspective."
Paige but her lower lip controlling her anger. "This is my operation, we've been working on this for dayzs, so no better perspective of that than I have."
Carl stopped Ed, said something and left.
Ed is by the nightshade in his office, in the Mabini house. An ancestral house he and his family is assigned to live. He flips a document of the Lieutenant and he expects that the Lieutenant also has a file of him to her bedside or office table. Or maybe in her locker room.
Ed reads the whole thing but Carl says she has a thing for being anonymous and always professional.
Still intrigued, he read the whole file.
Paige Gerona Fontanilla-Sy. Filipino, born 1949. Born to parens who are now deceased. Married but name is not mentioned. He was told that Filipino women don't change their maiden names but just attach the name of their husbands next to theirs.
No other kin.
Light brown eyes, auburn to black hair. Light skin. Manly built of 5'9 and his wife is about 5'4.
She flips and her education and employment is written. She studied in the Philippines until 66, she went to Stanford and study Chemistry. Signed up for the West Point Academy. Just like her father.
Ed remembers at that time, he was already in the police force in Narcotics too.
Paige was sent to fight the Viet Congs in 75 for a year. She received a purple heart and went back to the Philippines. Joined the police force and the rest is history.
Top-performing cop.
Ed stares at her photograph, of 2 by 3, black and white. She was younger in that photo than when she met her in the morning. But slightly different. Asians are surprisingly younger than their age. She must be 37 now but she looks like a college girl. The type that he would have been chasing when he was in undergrad in Harvard. And in law school.
Ed closed the folder not wanting to go in details with her work accomplishments and arrests. The thickness of it is enough.
Meanwhile, Paige is on the raid and unknowingly the DEA agents is also on their own with no coordination with the National Police.
"Hands down!" Paige's voice resonates. Loud. Barking. Her Smith and Wesson in the air. Jacket around her with PNP label. Steve and Javier raise their hands, "We are DEA!"
"Boss, DEA daw."
"I heard. I'll be the judge of that." Paige cuffs Javier.
"Call the embassy. They'll confirm we are under operation."
"Okay, big boy." Paige drags him then inside the police jeepney.
The next day, Paige receives an awarding for her successful raids. Heath visits her offering congratulations. Paige is wearing her official uniform in a pencil skirt. Flowers in hand as she meets Heath in the hallway.
"Congratulations."
"Thanks. Two men are claiming to be part of DEA."
"I know they are in your station."
"I haven't told about this. You could have informed me."
"Paige-- I know I have said something out of line--."
"It's Lieutenant Fontanilla." She squints.
"Okay, Lieutenant... Fontanilla." He breathes and checks her hands have no ring. He is too. Rings are annoying for him.
"Can you release them first? And we'll talk."
"Fine. There are talks about joint force, I think that's a better option. They were in the way so you're lucky I want charge them."
"We still have rights to operate."
"Agent Heath, this isn't american colony anymore. Your rights to operate? That's nothing. My operation, my rules. You can talk to the president about it if it bothers you ."
"I have to remind you that under clause we are given immunity to make arrests."
"Okay, sure. Go be a lawyer about it."
"It's better we set up a meeting to discuss this."
"Works for me."
"Can I shake your hand now?"
Ed asks.
Paige shows her hand with the flower in one and her cap in another. "Maybe next time."
Ed smirks.
Before she turns around, she says, "Come by the station, and pick up your agents."
In the meeting room, General Trojes, Holbrook, Ed, Paige, and Defense Secretary and Solicitor General are in the meeting room. A joint task force called Operation South Bound will be arranged. It will be awarded off course to Lieutenant Paige Fontanilla. Her whole precinct, and three DEA agents will join the task force. Help is included.
Paige rolled her eyes when told that she still has to report to Ed not as a boss but more of an equal liaison so Ed will get what the taskforce needs in terms Intel, weapons, technology or additional manpower or even laws if it mattered. Ed waits for Paige to end her discussion with the Holbrook and the Trojes and as the men exited the conference room, Ed cornered Paige.
"Pai-- Lieutenant, I hope this finds us in a good working mood. For whatever was in the past."
"I don't harbor bad feelings, Agent Heath." Page extends her hand, and Ed receives it with the other and shakes on it before Paige walks out. Her pinstripe suit with powder blue inside, higjoghts her authority.
