Old art/Design sketch of my Obey Me! OC, Lucifugus Rofocalus (also called Calus for short). Unlike most OM! OCs he’s not an MC but rather a dateable!

Calus is a high ranking demon, his parents being the treasurers of the Devildom. Calus himself being the treasurer of RAD. Organising and collecting funds is in his blood, or so the students of RAD say so.

Once a respected and even adored member of the Devildom, known for his power and independence. His rule and control over the shadows and determination to destroy the light.

However that swiftly changed when the Brothers arrived and he first met Lucifer.

Now turned into a clingy, flustered, love stricken Stan of the first born. He’s lost most of his past respect, seen as more annoying then respectable.

The leader and sole member of the Lucifer Love League (enemies of the Anti-Lucifer League) he spends most of his time outside the treasury advertising his club and following the fallen Angel.

His heart is opened once more when a certain sheep enters his life. One whom he finds worthy to gush about for hours.

Yes, he holds room in his heart for MC as well, however only if they acknowledge Lucifer always has a place there too.

However with a mix of his fear of the light and bizarre hobbies he often wonders if anyone would fall for him. As such he tends to keep a distance, fearing rejection and instead simply watching from the shadows.

A new devil appears; Lucifugus!

At first, when I was reading an unclean and unofficial translation, I thought this was just a horrible attempt at spelling, and that this was Lucifer, I couldn't see its head very clearly.

However, I was wrong...

Lucifugus is Latin for, roughly, "Flees from Light", which is really symbolic as hell knowing that Morgen (German for "morning") had managed to banish him.

Furthermore, he's an actual devil from the Grand Grimore (A book on black magic written around the 18th century, though there's been some debate); Lucifugus Rofocalus is the devil in charge of Hell's government by Lucifer's order.

Lucifuge Rofocale (Latin: Lucifugus Rofocalus), according to the Grand Grimoire, is the demon in charge of Hell's government by order of Lucifer. The name "Lucifugus" comes from two Latin words: lux ("light"; genitive lucis), and fugio ("to flee"), which means "[he who] flees the light". "Rofocal" may be an anagram of "Focalor", the name of another important demon who is possibly in Rofocale's servitude. Another possibility for the origin of "Rofocal" is intimately connected to the very nature of Lucifuge. As Lucifuge is the reverse of Lucifer (Latin for "light bearer"), so is the name "Rofocal" derived from "Lucifer" reversed – that is, "Reficul". In some modern left-hand path belief systems, the demon Lucifuge is said to be the ruler of the qliphoth Satariel. This belief originally comes from a claimed translation of an ancient Hebrew manuscript made by Eliphas Levi and has since then gained acceptance. Modern-day occult orders such as Dragon Rouge, the Order of Phosphorus and the Temple of the Black Light incorporate the idea of Lucifuge as one of the eleven rulers (there are ten qliphoths, and the last one, Thaumiel, is split in two, thus making eleven).

🐀 [Rat] Name three reasons why this WIP is great at being insert genre here.

(gonna insert genre as "hurt/comfort")

I have various WIPs, so I'll just pick a few~

"CLIPPED" (Adam Hazbin Hotel thing) - well this is self-explanatory, he gets his wings ripped off. that's the hurt. i have yet to write the comfort but it'll be there too.... just a bit.

"bhaals" - a durgetash oneshot thingy. gortash gets fucked up by da BRAIN but lives so.... it's also kinda the same idea. my durge (drace) is there for the comfort UwU

"save fellers as need saving" - kieran lives with no eyes au. the same hurt/comfort thing.

I usually listen to like... those long-ass youtube videos with a bunch of instrumental songs in one. but I do have like a tiny-ass writing playlist on Spotify that I use/add to occasionally.

this is all I have for that playlist so far, but they're good songs to just zone out and FEEL emotions to while i write :3
