(Intern Note: At this moment, I can almost hear Archer Wells inhale sharply, his eyes lighting up like the brand itself was a woman he was about to court.)

RAFE CAMERON (Senior Features Writer): Yeah, I know it. It’s practically synonymous with romance, but it’s also, you know, the brand for power couples. If anyone was going to define love as a luxury, it’s them.

RICHARD: Exactly. Now, here’s the deal. Castelli Roma is releasing its most exclusive, prestigious campaign of the decade—a multi-million-dollar ad centered on passion, romance, and the idea that love itself is the highest luxury. But there’s a catch.

(Intern Note: I swear, Richard’s eyes are glowing like he’s about to drop some divine wisdom.)

RICHARD: Castelli Roma doesn’t want a typical alpha male approach. They don’t want the brash, over-the-top bravado. They want something real. Authentic. They want someone who can show that love is not a gimmick—it’s a luxury worth investing in.

(Intern Note: Rafe shifts in his seat. He’s listening, but he’s clearly trying to figure out what his boss is about to ask him next.)

RAFE: Alright, so you’re looking for what? A man who knows how to romance in a way that feels real?

RICHARD: Yes. And no. The truth is, they’re not interested in just words. They want to see it. They want proof. That’s where you come in.

(Intern Note: Rafe straightens up, looking cautiously intrigued. And by cautiously I mean, he’s pretending not to care, but I know he does.)

RICHARD: You have 10 days. 10 days to make a woman fall in love with you.

(Silence. Pure, unfiltered silence. Archer Wells almost looks like he might choke on his coffee. I don’t blame him.)

RAFE: [deadpan] Wait—hold on. Let me get this straight. You want me to make a woman fall in love with me in 10 days… and you expect that to be real?

RICHARD: Yes. Real. Authentic. And the woman’s got to believe it.

ARCHER WELLS (Luxury Editor): [grinning] I’m all for it. I think we’ve found a worthy challenger, Cameron. You up for the challenge?

RAFE: [rolling his eyes] Of course, I’m up for it. But what do I get out of this?

RICHARD: Oh, I think you’ll be interested in this. If you succeed��and if Castelli Roma is convinced that you understand the essence of real love, the campaign is yours. The cover feature is yours. Plus, a massive promotion.

(Intern Note: At this point, Archer’s expression shifts. He’s still smug, but there’s a flicker of panic in his eyes. He knows what’s on the line for Rafe now.)

RAFE: Okay. And if I fail?

RICHARD: Then your biggest competitor, Archie, gets it.

(Intern Note: I look over to Archer Wells, and there’s a distinct shiver in the air. He’s doing his best to look like he’s above it, but we all know—this is his worst nightmare.)

RAFE: [sarcastically] So, let me guess. This woman I have to make fall in love with me is a total stranger? Completely neutral?

RICHARD: Exactly.

RAFE: So, I’m supposed to make this mystery woman fall for me? And I’ve got 10 days to do it?

RICHARD: [shrugs] You’re a smart guy. Make it happen.

(Intern Note: “Make it happen.” This is going to be chaos, and I’ll be here for all of it.)

RAFE: [gritting teeth] Alright, 10 days. That’s all.

RICHARD: Good. And when you win this campaign, Cameron, you’ll be walking away with more than just Castelli Roma. You’ll walk away with your career.

RAFE: Let’s do it.

I've seen some Normano going around recently and the football match today finally gave me some inspiration to dig out this ask from the bottom of my inbox ✨

There's not a lot of historical stuff to go on due to both of their complicated history. They might have dealt with each other in regard of religion - Catholicism - before Norway's forced conversion in 1537.

In modern times Italy is a poplar holiday destination, though this could be said about any country as Italy is in general a very popular tourist destination.

I think they'd clash a bit culturally as Norway prefers to be more structured and effective and lead a generally active life with sports and physical activity while Romano is more relaxed and chill and perhaps not eager to climb a mountain first thing in the morning.

They do share a love of coffee though and I imagine could have some awkward coffee dates when Romano is still a bit intimidated by Norway, but if they get to know each other better Roma can loosen up and do the talking for both of them ✨

I don't have a lot opinions on the ship since I have not really looked into it a lot, and it is missing that historical touch I prefer with my ships, but I am easy to convince with good content and arguments 🥰
