One day i'll make a character sheets for my PCs but for now lemme just copy paste some shit bc i've saved too much in my drafts and i want to clean it up a bit. So some info about my PCs below more or less organized, probably more on the less side.

THE MENACE

Foxglove (true name [REDACTED]), my actual meowmeow wasn't 100% raised in the orphanage. She was sent there when her mom died at 10. She spent weeks being weird and standoffish and basically just picking fights if anyone tried to get close to her.

One of the few people she never hit was Robin, because Robin was always nice about her personal space. They are friendly and cordial to each other to this day despite everything, but Foxglove doesn't really spend a lot of time with Robin/will not save her ass from Bailey.

Because she was only taken in as an older child, she doesn't respect Bailey half as much as she should.

Her first crush was Winter and her first official girlfriend was Whitney. She was part of Whitney's clique and generally a delinquent and a bully, which made her reputation with teachers quite awful, which pained her a bit since Winter now sees her as a talented troublemaker at best.

Other school LIs like Sydney (when Pure, at least. Corrupt is... a bit different.) and Kylar avoid her like the plague. Kylar has had an embarrassing crush on her that she was mocked relentlessly for and made the poor weeb into Whitney's target for months.

Had a really bad relationship with an unnamed older woman when she was younger that really finished fucking up the fuck up.

Met Avery while dancing at a party, by the way, and not in the usual ways because. Um. Because i wanna. Avery pulled her away from some lecherous partygoers and done fucked up both of their lives forever.

She is legiterally obsessed with Avery and molding herself into a perfect companion for her. This has made her a better student to impress her but estranged her from all of her friends :( She is also way more polite now, though her charisma is natural and she didn't have to work on that as much. This change has pleased Winter! :) She's also a delight to have in parties or in gatherings in general.

She is both a mean sadist and a freaky masochist. As much as she likes bullying the weak, she has this whole thing where she's sure she should be punished and just needs someone to do it for her because she realizes she's too self absorbed to do it herself.

Though she lets Avery push her around and only playfully banters in response, she often has complete meltdowns where she starts telling Avery exactly how much she sucks and how she's never going to be loved and how they will go to hell together hand in unlovable hand. Idk which one of them is crazier for staying together at this point.

She has been a fox since a looooong time. She messes with occult stuff quite oftenly, and as a fun fact has been a suspect in a disappearance case (but police is still useless in this town lol).

Local School Prince

Ronnie (Veronica), my main and most played with PC on the other hand was 100% raised in the orphanage. As a kid she was always protecting the smaller kids from bullies, which included Robin, who is now still her best friend/pseudogirlfriend.

She has an honest to God savior complex. Her life isn't complete if she's not servicing the weak and vulnerable... Especially weak and vulnerable girls. This has somehow made her into a massive player.

Like, it's not like she wants to play with girls' feelings. It's just that she gives them so much love and attention and protection that they fall for her and then what should she do? NOT kiss them? You're being unreasonable :(

She's very oftenly mistaken as a boy. The first time she cut her hair she was made fun of at the orphanage so Robin cut her own hair too. They both have worn it short since and Robin seems to be picking up on way more than just her haircut.

Despite that, for a long time her behavior made Robin think that she should act more ladylike to have Ronnie's attention. This isn't true at all, by the way, and Ronnie thinks Robin never looked hotter when she starts dressing masculine too.

Despite all of that, will likely never admit the romantic nature of her and Robin's relationship. She thinks of Robin as family despite the fact that they're oftenly crossing lines, because she doesn't want to ever lose Robin as a friend since they have both been there for each other's worst moments. Kylar would love to have half as much codependency as they have tbh.

She's dating Kylar officially. It honestly just started with her kissing the poor girl to make her stop getting mocked at a class get-together Kylar was about to run away from in tears, and Kylar remembered this forever but Ronnie forgot about it until she saw Kylar getting bullied again. She has since made it her mission to protect her and maybe raise her reputation a bit if she can convince Kylar to act less like a soaked cat. Maybe brush her hair before coming to school. She desperately wants Kylar to stand on her own legs, but while she can't, Ronnie will gladly support her.

On the point above. She is a bit too proud of Kylar attacking people, honestly. And slowly she's been thinking Kylar is much cooler all of a sudden... It's a strange feeling, and she's not too sure what to make of it. But her drawings and her cringe anime have started to worm their way into Ronnie's heart for real.

Btw she does NOT realize how deranged Kylar is. Has no idea. She doesn't know about the sex doll (which may have had a dick at some point before Kylar realized something very important). She thinks Kylar is just kind of weird but does NOTTT grasp how insane she is.

With Sydney, she had a more distant relationship, but what were jokes to fluster the religious girl became friendly chats and then Ronnie walking her to the temple and helping out with her mom's shop and more and more conversations about sexuality and suddenly Sydney was dying her hair black and showing up to school in pants instead of her long skirt.

(Btw, i think it's be funnier/more in character if i pretend they dyed Syd's hair in a school bathroom after school hours in an event that was a battle between them, the mirror and God.)

Would apologize to Sirris for butchifying her daughter but a. She's not sorry and B. Sirris seems to think it's kinda cool actually

Whitney was probably the hardest relationship to have. They used to beat the shit out of each other, especially when Whitney picked on Robin, Kylar or Syd, but one day Whitney's jokes went a bit too far. Ronnie saved her from the consequences of her own actions but that didn't mean they were friends.

But her and Whitney started to become closer when she found out "Foxglove" (Ronnie thinks that name is cringe. Her real name [Redacted] is much cooler, but Foxglove is a weirdo anyway) had ditched her for Avery. Maybe it was the sympathy of yet another poor soul getting sucked into Avery's bullshit but she started to go softer on Whitney and then suddenly they were fucking because Ronnie is a gay whore‼️

Anyway. Yeah. Avery. Ronnie had dated Avery briefly and it ended horribly. She was just trying to make Avery feel better since she sensed some loneliness in her but she soon learned that misery loves company and that Avery was legitimately too much to deal with. She tried to first make Ronnie into something she wasn't, trying to force her either into a boyfriend role or making her act girlier, and neither pleased Ronnie. Then the fights started because Avery wouldn't accept a "no" and Ronnie wouldn't take shit then Avery started to get physically violent and then they threw hands at a pub and that unfortunately didn't ruin Avery's reputation as much as Ronnie would have hoped.

I think she only really understood what type of evil Avery was when she saw her pick up another orphan girl (not Foxglove, that one she managed to warn).

Her relationship w Foxglove is tense at best. After finding out about some shit however, she keeps her distance and wishes Robin would stop being so nice to her before it bites her in the ass.

Bane is probably the PC i draw/talk about the least because i've only now thought of a name for her LMAO. She's based on one of my first PCs ever who i've made a new save for recently. I have less info on her bc i'm slowly working thru her save.

She used to be a normal, if a little cowardly girl until she got lost in the forest. When Eden found her, she was more wolf than person, but honestly good enough (Eden's standards are low.)

Had honest to God almost forgotten how to speak human words until Eden spoke to her more or less regularly. Eden was surprised she could talk at all after only hearing her bark, growl or yap for a long while.

She has slowly become less of a savage wolf and more of a dog and then somewhat human again.

After spending like, three years or so living with Eden, she has decided to go back to school. Still learning to not solve conflicts through dominance checks and vicious bites, but she's making progress :)

final 'member' of the sartrill collective - who isnt really a member at all, but rather assigned as their 'bodyguard' when they go on excursions to human cities by the Sartrill Sickleclaws (the defense force of the town)... more info on Herrr

a seeming 'lone wolf' - närsi is a member of the Sartrill Sickleclaws' reconaissance force. while tight-lipped about her background and personal life with most of her crakam coworkers, most of the basilisks in Sartrill look at her with sympathy due to knowledge of an event which happened to her family many years ago - an event which she herself seems to refuse to acknowledge ever happened, not even referring to herself with her family name. what everyone knows for sure, however, is that said event drove her to join the Sickleclaws, insisting upon it ever since hearing of the organisation and what they stand for - protection of sartrill and its inhabitants.

närsi is certainly a bit sour, although the darkness around them isn't as pervasive as their mannerisms makes it appear to be. while lacking a true affinity for it themself, they are an enjoyer of culture and arts, and because of that has spent a decent amount around the art scene in Sartrill when outside of work. they feel a strong urge to protect others - even if they aren't much of a social butterfly, preferring to hang around a few people rather than many. närsi holds grudges strongly and is quite uncompromising, and if an interpersonal issue arises, she prefers to ignore it and 'carry on', doing her best to avoid having to truly deal with it hands on.

friend of ronny and has been friends with her for a very long time - the two knew eachother from their childhoods. it is a complicated friendship, however - as närsi strongly disagrees with ronny's tendency to mingle with humans.

(Some of these are new, some have been rotting in my notes app since January lol also LONGPOST WARNING up ahead.)

Veronica:

Was also a wolf kid (iykyk), wore those dog ear headbands to school from the middle of 3rd to the beginning of 5th grade

Has a pet corn snake named Cornelius. She's had him since she was 12 and loves him dearly

Can't even be trusted with a toaster in the kitchen, can and will find a way to set something on fire

Her favorite movie series is Indiana Jones. She loves the thril of the action scenes and the concept of carefree adventuring

Fucking unstoppable at just dance. She wins by a landslide every time

Had one of those giant picture encyclopedias as a kid

Despite spending so much time journaling and studying people's handwriting, hers is still a mesy disaster (this annoys Chandler to no end)

Likes to doodle in her journal too

Heather Chandler:

Hates everyone except her favorite three people (Duke, Mac, and Ronnie) And sometimes even them

Gets fucking livid when people touch her stuff without asking (this includes Veronica)

Especially if you touch her hair/skincare stuff (which is one of those 989,752,300 step process ones)

If she doesn’t get her beauty sleep, she’s even more of a megabitch than usual

Super protective of her friends and loyal to a fault. Once you're in her inner circle, there's no escape

Speaks french fluently

Most of the time she spends with her parents is on the whole-summer trips to France they drag her on. She despises these with a burning passion

Learned how to paint in France, and she's gotten pretty good at it over the years

Has gorgeous, looping cursive handwriting and insists on writing everything in red ballpoint pen. (Her teachers hate this)

Almost always has really vivid lucid dreams. She writes them down in a dream log and they’re her main artistic inspiration

Secretly loves Romance novels. Will read them and giggle like an excited 12-year-old when she's alone

Heather McNamara:

Was super clumsy before she started cheer. It’s definitely not as bad as before, but it’s still there. She’ll still trip over her own feet sometimes

Lactose intolerant, but her favorite drink is milk

Loves to click her pens in class

Goes through chewing gum at frightening speeds (think a pack or more a day)

Is really close to her dad

Whenever her dad goes on a business trip, he brings her a new hair ribbon. She keeps them all in a drawer in her nightstand.

Was the biggest horse girl as a kid

Will still happily talk about horses for hours

Loves astrology even more. Her dad cuts out the horoscope section of the daily paper for her and she keeps them filed away by date and season

Loves to read her friends their horoscopes

Definitely has a million constellation/planet charts all over her walls

If it doesn't have mustard on it, she won't eat it

Carries around a bottle of spicy mustard for this exact reason

Heather Duke:

Literally like 5'0 (152.5 cm)

Will not be caught dead without her heels on

Has two younger siblings, Hunter (12) and Hannah (also 12, they’re twins)

Gatsby loves to curl up on her neck when she reads, and she’ll absentmindedly scratch behind his ears

Her parents forced her to play the piano from like 1st grade onwards. She has the skills of a concert pianist but hates the instrument with a burning passion

Loves to bake too, will make things for his friends

Tried to make Chandler an apology cake one time (which did NOT end well for either of them)

One of his most prized possessions is the blue and black friendship bracelet Veronica made for him when they met. He wears the damn thing everywhere and it’s getting beat up

Loves to take walks alone in the dark or the rain. He thinks it’s nice and peaceful

Constantly losing pens. Was it the trenchcoat's fault? Probably. Will he get out of the trenchcoat? Absolutely not.

One thing that's flown a bit below the radar in this election is that former cabinet members haven't been acting like they usually do. Normally, former cabinet members will automatically endorse their former boss for re-election, but Trump's have not been doing that.

This is of particular interest because, while we, the voters, get to see the President give speeches and the like, we don't actually work with him. Presumably a cabinet member is someone who agrees with the president and who the president trusts and who gets to work closely with the president, so their opinion of the president is an important benchmark.

The first thing we notice, obviously, is that there are a whole lot more former Trump cabinet members. This is partially because Biden is still in office so his 23 current cabinet members are not counted (it'd be a huge surprise if they didn't endorse him and they probably wouldn't still be working for him if they didn't), but it's also because Trump had way above average turnover for cabinet officials, 19 in the first four years not including the 5 who resigned due to his handling of the 2020 election results (not included because Biden hasn't reached that point in his first term yet), while Biden has had far below average turnover, only 3 so far.

So a lot more people shuffling in and out of the Trump administration, but we also notice a ton more H's than E's there. Heck, there's almost as many R's among Trump's people as there are E's (5 to 7). Meanwhile, Biden's shooting 2 for 3 and the third one hasn't (at least not that I could find) ruled out endorsing him.

Keep in mind, endorsing the nominee of your party is pretty much the bare minimum that any party operative needs to do. Imagine if you applied for a job somewhere, the first question was "do you think this company should be in business", and you answered "no". You probably wouldn't be getting a job there. In other words, refusing to endorse has some big consequences for the people doing it, not just costing them a job in the potential next Republican presidency, but locking them out of the party entirely, and yet a good deal of the people who worked for Trump disliked working with him so much that they're doing it anyways.

As I said, this tends to fly below the radar because it's kind of a formulaic ritual; of course members of the President's party who are closely tied to him are going to endorse him for re-election! That's why you should pay attention now that most of the people who've worked with Trump aren't doing so. It says something, something big.

The Umbrella Academy Story of The Mothers (8/8) umbrella edition: Anita

October 1, 1989. East London, England. 17 seconds before noon.

Anita Gill was used to the hustle and bustle of the flower market. It was a Saturday morning, and the air was thick with the scent of roses, lilies, and carnations. Vendors shouted out prices and special offers, their voices carrying over the din of the crowd. She and her husband, Ronnie, had been working here for as long as they could remember. They knew the names of every flower, every stem, every petal. They knew the best ways to arrange them, how to make them look their most beautiful and alluring. It was their art, their passion.

Anita glanced over at Ronnie as he expertly arranged a bouquet of roses in a vase. He had always been the more confident of the two of them, always the one to take charge and make decisions. Even when they were children, he would lead her through the playground, making sure she was safe and sound. And as they grew older, that protective instinct only seemed to intensify.

It was one of the things she loved most about him. It made her feel cherished and protected, like she was the most important person in the world. And in return, she did everything she could to make him happy. She copied everything he did, mirrored his movements, echoed his words. It was a small way of showing him how much she cared.

"You know, Anita," Ronnie said, his voice gentle as he handed her the finished bouquet, "sometimes I think you're too good for me. You're always so patient, so understanding. You make me feel like I can be myself around you. It's like you're the sun, and I'm just one of your rays, you know?"

"Well whatever happened to Mr. Lone Wolf?" Anita teased, returning his smile. Ronnie grinned back, taking her hand in his. They stood there, surrounded by the beauty of the flowers, the chaos of the market, and the quiet certainty of their love. For a moment, the world seemed to fall away, and it was just the two of them, floating in a sea of color and scent.

"He met a crazy lady one day, and it changed everything," Ronnie answered, leaning in closer. "She showed him what it meant to be part of something bigger than himself. She made him realize that even the loneliest wolf can find a home. And now, here we are." He brushed a stray hair from Anita's face, tracing her jawline with his finger. "I don't know what I'd do without you, Anita. You're my heart, you know that?"

Anita blushed at his words, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. She'd always known that Ronnie was special, but hearing him put it into words like that made her heart swell. She took his hand in hers, squeezing it gently. "And you're my everything, Ronnie. You always have been. We'll get through this, together. Just you and me, forever and always."

The couple had been together for eight years, and they had never once fought. They had always been in perfect sync with each other, their minds and bodies moving as one. It was as if they were two halves of the same soul, destined to find each other amidst the chaos of the world. And now, as they stood in the bustling flower market, surrounded by a riot of color and scent, they couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and gratitude for the life they shared.

Unfortunately, the universe had other plans for Ronnie and Anita. After eight years of trying, they were faced with the harsh reality that they were unable to conceive a child. The news was devastating, like a punch to the gut. They had always dreamed of starting a family, of raising a little girl with Ronnie's amber eyes and Anita's dark hair. But now, those dreams seemed to be slipping away from them.

They spent the next few days in a haze of disbelief and heartache. Ronnie found it hard to concentrate on his art, and Anita struggled to keep up her job at the flower shop. It was as if a piece of them had been torn away, and they were left to pick up the pieces and find a way to move forward.

Anita was on the weight loss drug Ayds (not making this up they were real things), a popular product in the 1980s. The couple had been trying everything they could think of to conceive, but nothing seemed to work. They had even tried in-vitro fertilization, but it had been unsuccessful. As they sat at the kitchen table, surrounded by stacks of medical journals and countless failed pregnancy tests, Ronnie reached across the table and took her hand in his.

"I don't know, Ronnie," Anita said, her voice barely a whisper. "I don't know how much more of this I can take. It feels like everything we do, everything we try, only leads to more pain. It's like we're living in a nightmare, and we can't wake up."

Ronnie squeezed her hand, his grip tight. "I know, baby. I know it hurts. But we can't give up on ourselves. We can't give up on us."

Anita looked up at him, tears streaming down her face. "But what if there's something wrong with us? What if we're not meant to have a child?"

Ronnie shook his head, his eyes locked on hers. "We'll find out. We'll get to the bottom of this. I promise you, we'll find out what's going on, and we'll fix it. We'll find a way, together." He leaned in and kissed her gently, wiping away a tear with his thumb.

The couple decided that they needed to take a break from the constant stress of trying to conceive. They booked a week-long trip to an island resort, far away from the hustle and bustle of their everyday lives. It was a chance for them to reconnect, to remember why they loved each other so much, and to find some peace amidst the storm.

However, the day before they were about to leave, at noon that same day, Anita began to feel queasy and dizzy. She thought it might be the effects of the air conditioning in the flower shop, but when she got home, she decided to take a pregnancy test, just in case. To their utter shock and disbelief, the test came back positive. And to top it all off, she already had a tail-end second trimester bump. It was surreal, like a dream come true.

Ronnie walked in from work, his shoulders slumped and his eyes tired. He hadn't been sleeping well, either. The stress of their situation had taken its toll on them both. He didn't even notice Anita standing there, lost in thought, until he heard her gasp.

"Ronnie..." she started, her voice shaky. "I think... I think I might be..."

He turned to her, a mixture of surprise and hope flooding his features. "You mean... you think you're pregnant?"

She nodded, her hands trembling as she held up the pregnancy test. They stared at it in disbelief, as if the words printed on the little plastic stick were some sort of cosmic joke. But there it was, as clear as day: the unmistakable blue line that confirmed their wildest dreams.

The two glanced at the box of girlhood memorabilia, sitting innocuously on the shelf beside them. So many dreams, so many hopes, and yet fate had seemingly conspired against them. But now, as they gazed at the pregnancy test in disbelief, they felt a new sense of hope, of possibility. They couldn't believe it was real, but they couldn't deny it, either.

Ronnie took Anita in his arms, her tiny frame enveloped by his strength. He felt a wave of emotion wash over him as he held her close, their hearts beating in perfect rhythm. He kissed her forehead, his lips lingering there for what seemed like an eternity.

Because their family was Indian, they had a whole slew of traditions and customs surrounding pregnancy. They decided to celebrate the news in true Indian fashion, by inviting their closest friends and family over for a small feast. "We need to do something special," Ronnie told Anita, "to honor this little-" he excitedly rambled but was cut off by Anita's gasp.

Ronnie turned around to see Anita staring at him with a look of disbelief on her face. She was now visibly pregnant, her belly full and round. He couldn't help but feel a rush of love and protectiveness for her, and for their unborn child.

But then Anita's water broke a mere 6 minutes after they found out about the pregnancy. "It’s time…" she breathed, already feeling the first contractions starting.

Ronnie immediately went into action. He carefully helped Anita lay down on their bed, and then quickly gathered up some clean towels and blankets from their linen closet. With shaking hands, he placed them beneath her as she leaned back, wincing in pain. She closed her eyes, gritting her teeth as another contraction hit her hard. Ronnie knelt beside her, his face etched with concern and determination.

"Should we call for help?" Anita asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "You've never done this before... Maybe the midwife should be here." Ronnie hesitated for a moment, his brow furrowed in thought. "No, there isn’t any time for that. We need to stay calm and focus on breathing. I've read up on this, and we can handle it." He took a deep breath himself, feeling the weight of responsibility settle heavily on his shoulders. "I'll be right here with you, okay?"

She nodded, her grip on his hand tightening as another contraction wracked her body. "I love you," she managed to choke out between clenched teeth. "No matter what happens, I'll always love you." Ronnie's heart swelled at her words, but he couldn't help feeling terrified deep down. He couldn't lose her, not now, not when they were finally going to have their family.

Another contraction hit, harder than the last. "You're doing great," he whispered, wiping the sweat from her forehead. "Just a little bit more, okay? We're almost there." He helped her into a more comfortable position, supporting her as she leaned forward, her hands braced against the bed. He could see the contraction taking hold of her, could feel the tension building in her body.

And then, with a sudden burst of energy, she screamed. The sound seemed to echo through the room, bouncing off the walls and filling every crevice. Ronnie felt helpless, unable to do anything but watch as his wife bore their child into the world. He could see the head, the tiny hands, the curled-up legs. And then, with one final push, Anita gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

The moment the baby was out, Ronnie cut the umbilical cord with a pair of surgical scissors he'd retrieved from the medicine cabinet. He held the tiny, slippery form close to his chest, marveling at her perfect features. Anita, meanwhile, lay back on the bed, exhausted but glowing with pride and love. "She's beautiful," she whispered, her voice still ragged from the pain. "She's absolutely beautiful."

Ronnie looked up at her, a mix of awe and relief etched on his face. "You did it," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "You're amazing." He glanced down at the little girl again, his heart swelling with love. "So, your family’s tradition is to name your first daughter after your mother, and my family's tradition is to name our first daughter after a specific type of flower. Are we still sticking with Lila, or do you want to choose a different flower name?"

Anita smiled, her exhaustion momentarily forgotten. "I think Lila it is," she said. "It's always been my favorite flower, after all. And now that we have our little Lila, it just feels right." She lifted her newborn daughter, cradling her gently in her arms. "Hello, little one. Welcome to the world. We love you more than anything."

Ronnie felt a lump forming in his throat as he watched his wife and their newborn daughter. He couldn't help but marvel at the miracle of life, and how lucky he felt to be able to share this moment with Anita. He leaned in, kissing her forehead gently. "You did it, you really did it. You're the strongest, most amazing woman I've ever met."

Anita looked up at him, tears welling up in her eyes. "I couldn't have done it without you, Ronnie. You were there for me every step of the way." She held Lila closer, her heart overflowing with love and gratitude. "She's going to grow up knowing just how much she's loved."(Well not until she meets her own lone wolf, that is, but that's another story for another day.)

And they lived happily ever after…until 1993 when Ronnie and Anita were brutally murdered by the blonde time traveling pedophile who’s in love with my future husband. And said pedophile adopted their daughter, Lila, and raised her as her own. But that's another story for another day.
