Unlikely Lead (ROTTMNT Donatello Hamato x OC)

A/N: I hope some of you have figured out the riddle, I know some of you have told me you have which is awesome!!! I might be making this as a short mini-series on how the two meet and officially take the first step into some sort of relationship. Anywhizzle, lemme know and enjoy!

Warnings/Triggers: A little swearing, alcohol drinking (nothing sever).

Word Count: 1448

It has been two months since he met his mysterious dance partner witch at the bar. Two months of trying to locate this witch in Witchtown. Two months of searching through many security cameras through many shops and stores in Hidden City. And two grueling months of internal battles about this mystery woman within his mind and dreams. He couldn’t help but thank the Pizza Supreme in the Sky that he and his brothers had their own spaces. The only thing he knew, after her riddle and muddling over his decision to find her was her name.

Andromeda.

That's all he could run with. It was something, but he was not enjoying having to investigate and try to locate her.

Donnie was back at the bar, in his usual booth with his usual drink and a glass of the cocktail that this Andromeda woman gave him. A map of the Hidden City glowed in front of him from his gauntlet where a majority was crossed off except for two places. The bar, where he was currently residing. And The Grand Nexus Hotel and the Battle Nexus. Witchtown was crossed off more times than he could count as he would return to see if there was a chance that someone in that small community had seen her. But each time, they would decline that they had seen her or had no idea who she was.

"Where the hell are you, Andromeda?" He mumbled as he took a sip of his drink.

"I thought I'd find you here."

Donnie glanced up to see someone he was praying he wasn't going to see anytime soon. Or ever for that matter.

With a vex glare, Donnie watched the person sit across from him and closed his map.

"Hello there, Kendra. How's probation treating you once again?" He replied in a sardonic tone.

The purple and black haired girl sneered as she adjusted her Purple Dragon's cropped bomber and snatched the Purple Lemon Drop Cocktail. Kendra slowly sipped the drink as she saw the annoyance in Donnie's eyes. Oh such sweet pleasures to piss off the genius.

"So, whatcha lookin' for Othello? Another new experiment?" She asked.

Donnie groaned and leaned back in his seat. "This doesn't concern you, Kendra. Now, if you excuse me, I'm waiting for someone here to meet me."

"You mean this mystery girl that you've oh-so been searching for?" She replied, smirking as she saw the deep shock on the softshells reaction.

"How did yo-"

"I know you, jerk face. And I might be able to help you. Just like old times." Kendra spoke over and soon threw a seductive and somewhat cheshire smile.

But Donnie was not going to let that happen. Rising from his seat, he laid his pay on the table under his half finished drink and began to head out of the bar. But her hand gripped his bicep to stop him only to have his ninpo develop a long claw to pluck her away from him and dangle her in the air.

"Let go of me!!!" Kendra struggled but was brought close to meet Donnie face to face.

"I don't care what happened before. But I don't want anything to do with you, Kendra." He stated firmly before releasing her and letting her fall with a thud.

Turning on his heel, Donnie presumed to walk away before he attempted to do anything irrational.

"I know where she is! That girl with the piercings!" Kendra barked out as she rubbed her tender backside from the fall.

Donnie stopped before looking over his shoulder. She stood to her feet and mumbled a swear before glaring at the turtle. Throwing what looked like a credit card to him, Donnie caught it and looked at the card itself to see a business name on it which surprised him.

He looked back at Kendra who flashed a victorious smile and crossed her arms across her chest. Without a single word, Donnie raised the card up as a sign of thanks before leaving the bar. He had a lead from a very unlikely source. But it was better than going back to Witchtown yet again. Taking the closest hidden door to enter the streets of New York City, he took to the streets to find this store front.

As he made his way down the empty streets, he let his battle shell remove his button down shirt and tie before streaking across the night sky to find the storefront. It shouldn't be that difficult to find, right?

Even if the store was closed, he at least had a lead so he could find Andromeda. But that was all thwarted when he saw something glowing on a rooftop. Exactly where the store was supposedly located. As he flew closer to the glowing light, he landed on a nearby building across from where the source of light emitted. Donnie looked over the edge to see an abundant mystic garden that had all sorts of botanical life. A greenhouse also housing more delicate life inside it's warm cocoon. And one person tending to the garden with a tablet in hand. 

Same hair of brunette red, slender frame, fair skinned but her clothes much more frumpy and comfortable. Loose dark navy bell bottom jeans that were cinched in place by a long braided leather belt. An olive green cardigan sweater that was over one shoulder. A spaghetti strap grey tank top and black leather platform boots. She was still beautiful, even if she was in comfortable clothing. With a slow wave of her free hand, he watched her draw in the air as she was casting what must have been a spell as a puff of what looked like pink and gold glitter exploded and sprinkled across her garden. Then with a tap on her tablet, the water sprinklers set off in a nice misting on some and to others an out right downpour.

"Now what are you doing on the surface?" He asked himself as he activated his new visor and worked on zooming in to see her better along with this new found information.

As he ran his scanners to see what she had set up, he could see signatures of high mystic magic in most of her plants. But within the greenhouse was just normal produce and botany. Nothing extreme in his books. Then he set his sights on Andromeda. The mystery girl whom he had been looking for. As he laid eyes upon her, he could only see her back.

Oh how Donnie wanted to scream at her to turn around. But he bit his tongue to keep himself silent.

As he did his best to try and take images of the location, he noticed his visor beginning to malfunction and digitize on him. He tapped his side piece that activated the visor only to have a bright light briefly blind him, causing Donnie to fall on his backside and shut off his visor. All he could see were spots and stars as his vision slowly came to focus and clarity. Once it did, Donnie looked over the ledge only to gawk in utter shock.

"SHE'S GONE!?"

The entire scene, garden, her. Vanished out of thin air. 

"How the hell did she suddenly..." Donnie started only to reactivate his visor to locate any mystic energy.

But it was no use, his visor was malfunctioning and just showing everything heavily pixelated and in black and white. Defeated, but only just a little, Donnie took it as a sign to go home and sleep on it. Standing to his feet and activating his battle shell for flight once more, Donnie looked down at the now empty rooftop and smiled a little.

"Until we meet again, my lady."

And took off into the night sky.

But she saw him, behind a shield that she used thanks to Purple Dragon technology to keep her mystic garden hidden and safe. How he found her garden, she had her suspicions that Jason blabbed her residency. But she knew he wouldn't do so. Maybe the turtle got lucky? And it looks like his luck paid off finally. With a smirk, Andromeda set her watering cycle to shut off in a couple minutes before going inside her apartment for the night to get some much needed sleep before going to school. She knew the report that she and Sunita were working on was due tomorrow and they had to present it with April. So, with her mind on sleep and making sure she was ready for her project, she carefully got ready for bed and laid down for the night with the likes of her turtle dance partner filtering into her dreams.

anyway anyway anyway i do not have the brain for big lorebuilding so they mostly just spin around in my brain microwave BUT. altair (they/he) is a goldblood & they're a professional mechanic.. unusually enough he apparently has no psionic abilities. none at all. (he does. hes a draft evader.) this however is made up for by the fact that they're extremely intuitive & good at fixing shit and working with their hands. do not ask me HOW machines work on alternia where everything is bugs i just think that things that go vroom are hot okay. someone has to work on all those spaceships. someone has to joyride those ships. suspension of disbelief <3 he gives off the vibes of someone who is pissed and intimidating all the time but its just the autism.. guy who drinks shit black coffee & nebulously exists both within & without the confines of the law. theyre like. if rottmnt donnie was a little scarier.

tianyi (any) is the guy (girlfriend) (witch of rage / derse / scoriborn) who manages dirty work that some highbloods are too wealthy or pretentious or lazy to do for themselves, or if they dont want a thing to be traced back to them for whatever reason. like, they have people, it pays well, it's a whole thing. cerulean & they're very shiny and elegant and dangerous very charming very whiny a little of a bitch. so tired all of the time but very good at masking it. type of person who is very charming and not intimidating per se but still being around them feels like being in the water with a very big shark.

tuirin (hy/he/it) is a purpleblood apostate... he's extremely wealthy and powerful and politically active... type of guy to drive expensive cars and is friends with seadwellers etc.

anyway tuirin is tianyi's most frequent employer hy definitely doesnt think she's cool and cute and a little terrifying. altair is one of tianyi's contacts & they fucking hate each other NOT in the fun way definitely not. he's too pretentious they're too messy. sad that he keeps needing them for shit! tuirin rolls up to altair's garage for some reason hes dressed in like, troll dior, luxury scuttlebuggy, absolutely immaculate, sees altair who hasnt slept in a week & is covered in grime & looks like something the purrbeast dragged in & goes holy shit. i wont him.

The turtles are always amazing and I love them in any version!!! But I tend to lean on the Donnie and Leo are my favorites bias kind of often 😅 but I do love all of them!

And I do have an oc for Tmnt named Kaede! She's human and sincerely sucks at fighting, but I love her! I have different variations of her depending on the version!

♡ Lord of the rings and the hobbit

With my personality I struggle to actually see myself in the universe since I'm not as ethereal or impressive as any of them 😅

But I'm fond of the fanon ship of Bagginsheild and I love dwarven culture! I don't know why I just do!

I do have an oc named Islyn and she has a really complicated story that I'm not getting into rn! But I personally ship her with Glorfindel! (I don't usually like elves as much as dwarves but Glorfindel just kind of somehow became special to me! I guess I also like Elrond too but Glorfindel is #1)

I am playing pokemon scarlet atm! :)

But I've played every game since soulsilver and heartgold and watched the anime too!!!

I have three ocs because...yeah! (Satomi, Kyrene, Andromeda)

But the oc I'll probably talk about most is Andromeda/Andy! She's such a sweet lil' sapphic!!! She's got a huge crush on Rika in Paldea's E4!

Another character I like a lot is Colress from Unova!!! I just like him!!! My oc Kyrene is interested in him!

The Supreme fam (Stephen, Tony, Peter, Morgan, Harley, America) is my found family and my comfort when things just aren't great at home

So...since the MCU established that there's a multiverse...here's my sort of my world for these existing characters!

~Steve is married to Bucky and they have one kid (so far)

And my Oc Savannah/Sav is biologically related to both Stephen and Tony and there's a whole space and magic reason why!
