You really did loved him. No. More than that, you were obsessed with all of him, admired him, your heart was beating only for him.

At first it was pure admiration, he was strong and even though sometimes he was too grumpy and stuborn, he cared, he cared for Rouge, Strom, Charles even Scott (he probably will never admit it) and he cared the most for Jean. Oh boy how much he cared for her, the first time he saw her was like love at first sight for him, he didn´t give a shit that she was with Eric, he didn´t care about trying to flirt with her in front of her boyfriend, he was so submerged in all of Jean´s existance.

But as some time went by, you and Logan started getting along, at first you were only teammates, working together at training your students, but you grew fond of each other, spending time together alone, having really private conversations and emotional talks every night.

Damn he sometimes would even put his arm around you, kiss the top of your head and even gave you compliments, ( they were kind of suggestive too your liking but a compliment at the end of the day) he was just so touchy with you, you wanted to just melt in his hands and live as a melted being so he could take care of you.

¨Aye¨ his voice made you react, you were out in the balcony watching the sky, it was already kind of late and windy but it felt so fresh that you stayed maybe too long out.

¨You scared me¨ he walked next to you, he had the grey hoodie he took the first time he met the Professor. ¨Sorry kid¨ He still referring to you as kid, yeah you were younger than him but you were a grown woman and a teacher, so that nickname gives you a weird feeling since you were a bit too old to be called kid. ¨Just because you are more tha a hundred yeard older than me doesn´t mean im still a kid¨ He chuckled a bit ¨Well, can´t help it, i have a right to call everyone kid¨ You raised one eyebrow ¨Even the Professor?¨ He paused for like two seconds and look at the sky ¨Maybe not him¨

You stared at his profile, the wind hitting his hair and he just looked so ugh so beautiful and hot, he had his hoodie a little bit unzipped so you could see a bit of his chest. His musuclar chest.

¨You are going to drill a hole if you stare that intense¨You swear you were discreet enough, you felt a little embarrassed but there was no point in denying it. ¨You look like a whore, can´t help it¨

He raised his eyebrow and contained a smile ¨Look who is talking¨ you placed your hand in your heart faking an offended tone ¨Excuse you? i dress properly in every situation while most of the time you have your chest naked for everyone to see¨ He stared at you ¨I only see you looking¨

You were looking at each other eyes, too much for your liking and you start to feel your face hot, was he always this close? you felt this he was standing really close to you, too close to your embarrassed and stupid in love face.

¨I guess i just don´t know how to hide it¨ You were talking about the looks you give him, but you know it also meant you could´t hide your feelings very well.

He wrapped his arm around your shoulder and pulled you close to him to his side. You rested your head on his shoulder, enjoying the breeze on your face and his hand caressing your arm.

Oh god his hands, big and strong, masculine and long. His hand caressed your shoulder and then travel to your arm, the tip of his fingers made you had goosebumps, you breathe staring to change a bit in rhythm. His finger travel to the side of your neck to caress it. You felt your heart about to explore, this felt to erotic and personal, it was kinda funny ( or pathetic) how just the touch of his fingers could make you feel.

His placed his hand in your chin to make you look at him but before he could you moved your head to avoid it. Having him touch you is one thing but looking at him was different, you didn´t want him to see your ready-to-explode face, what if he notices? If he founds out how you actually think about him?

Getting rejected was NOT going to happen, you preferred a bullet, one in your heart and another one through your brain.

You didn´t know what to do, what to say. Fuck! your face was still burning up and your stomcah felt like throwing up a million of dead butterflies.

You decided to look at him, if he questions something about your face or your actions you would just lie or throw yourself through the balcony in hopes to die.

Your eyes met and you felt you whole body, even your hands and legs burning up, he was so close to your face, his eyes so intensely watching you, looking at your lips and eyes.

¨Do you hate this¨ You didn´t exactly understand what he meant ¨Hate what?¨ His hand travel to you lower back to pull you closer to him, both chest pressed to each other ¨This¨

You were 100% going to throw up any second in that man´s beautiful face.

His other hand cup your cheek and you let yourself enjoy his touch, his hands were big and strong, you could feel it.

His thumb touching your lower lip, guiding you to open your mouth a litte bit. He got closer, just milimiters from your face, he stuck out his tongue to lick your lower lip. Fuck.

¨You know that if you want me to stop, just say it and i will¨ You nodded but that was never going to happen.

You cupped your hands to his face and pulled him closes to finally kiss. He pressed you closer to him, his hands on your back with a strong hold on you so you can´t separate from him. So you don´t go away.

You could feel how desperate the kiss was, his tongue licking your lips and then entering your mouth again and again. You were getting so weak, so consumed by lust, your brain was off, not a single thought, just the feeling of Logan´s hands on your waist, your neck, on your ass, breast, back, he was feeling all of you. His vocie would grunt from time to time, his deep voice just giving you hints showing how much he was enjoying having you. Feeling you.

How much time has passed? For how long have you been kissing? 5 minutes? 10? Just pure kissing and touching each other frantically was enough to make all your sensitive spots hurt, palpitate for some kind of relief. For him.

Finally your brain turned on, where you going to have sex? Was this going to escalate more? Would he like it?

You started getting nervous, scared by the idea that what would happen if he doesn´t like it, if he stops kisssing you and to each their own just going to your respective rooms.

What if this was the last time this was going to happen? He maybe just wanted some relief. Oh god, maybe just because he couldn´t have Jean he went for someone who would give in.

Logan pulled away, a tiny string of saliva connected both of your mouths for a second.

Fuck it. You didn´t care if he was using you, either if it was because he just needed some kind of relief or because Jean wasn´t available, you really desired this, you needed this and you would have it, it this was the last time you could have him then you would make a hell of a time out of this.

It was dark and already late, so both of you stayed silently walking to his room holding hands to prevent any students waking up.

Do u think Sonic has nightmares of the SA2 ending? do u think the s2 of Prime fall reinforced this fear or gave him some closure? the anxiety of shadow falling and Sonic not being there to catch him lingers? maybe that's why Sonic is very touch affectionative towards Shadow

That scene single handedly DESTROYED me. Along with all the fics and fanart that came right after it when that ep of S2 came out hsjshshshs. The parallels are so fuggin tragic, especially from Sonic pov.

This was someone he had met in little under 48 hours, or however long the span of SA2 was lol. He's someone who challenged him, someone who, sure, wasn't entirely a mobian hedgehog--but one nonetheless, a super powered one at that. Who went from threating to destroy the world for hurting him beyond Sonic's comprehension to defending it till his final breath beside him.

Sonic's return to the ark without him will never NOT bring me to tears (yes I'm a big baby sue me lmao), he's still holding his inhibitor ring like its the most precious thing in the now saved world.

His goodbye to him; his closure--his understanding that, that was it. Shadow was gone. I don't remember the time from SA2 until Hero's but it was sure to be a long damn time, only for Shadow to just, be alive. MAN IT HURTS LIKE SH-- (I have a headcanon Sonic got to keep the inhibitor ring when Rouge gives it him later, and he wore it under his glove cuff all this time.) You cannot tell me Shadow didn't have a major impact on Sonic's life come onnnnn. I completely agree with the nightmares headcanon btw, like you take a hero with a savior complex and give them a situation where they FAILED to save someone they love and your in for an ANGST FIELD DAY.

Prime Sonic is a lil different from the Sonic's we've been introduced too in the past. (No this is NOT a complaint I love him sm, all Sonic's are amazing to me that is a fact.) He's probably the most physically affectionate one outta all of them. We see him describe his relationship with Shadow as "complicated" lmao, and for anyone new to the Sonic Series watching it, they're basically just introduced as rivals that are so fucking BAD at communicating. But you can tell he cares about his friends, and he really cares about Shadow.

This is evident in his PANIC ATTACK, when Shadow gets knocked out while trying to enter one of the gateways and ends up almost falling into the void. And this is right after they were just at each others necks, fighting for the tech.

There is NO POSSIBLE WAY it's not supposed to be a parallel to SA2, and if this Sonic also went through the "Shadow fucking dies and loses his memories TM" there is also ZERO WAY he didn't get flashbacks while reaching out to save the only piece of home he had, but Shadow's more than that. He grounds Sonic throughout Prime, he keeps him focused, he CARES about him too. Even if he has trouble showing it.

When it was Shadow's turn to save Sonic when he was fading away. Like, I WAS DECEASED, I WAS SOBBING--- ahem, I was carefully analyzing the moment where we got to see Shadow return the favor. Where he was mere MOMENTS away from losing him. He was in Sonic's place, back in space near the Space Colony Ark. Holding the most precious part of his home. His friend. (HIS BOYFR-- *gets shot*)

I like to think they both get more affectionate and open with each other, it just works so naturally well in Prime because of everything they've been through. And how the show, shows their friendship develop over time, even when Shadow gets benched for the majority of it hjhghj. He lets Sonic in, he makes the effort to hear him out, they LEARN TO COMMUNICATE.

Sonic wants to be near Shadow, Shadow in turn lets him, lets him be affectionate. Because they both really DO realize how much they care and need/want each other in their lives. They make me ill.

Metal Sonic - Sailor Jupiter - both have electricity related to them, Metal Sonic + Amy r besties just like Jupiter and Venus cmon you know it’s true, also bc Jupiter is known for her unfathomable strength similar to how Metal is unfathomably strong in reference to sonic bc. yk.

Shadow - Sailor Saturn - THIS IS RLLY RLLY RLLY FLESHED OUT IN MY HEAD SINCE THEYRE BOTH MY FAVORITES LOL, both r seen as “ultimate lifeforms” in a way, shadow being in cryosleep for years and saturn being “forbidden to awaken due to her being the soldier of death”, hotaru and shadow were both in some way scientifically created, hotaru and shadow r both the children of (mad) scientists, shadow being gerald and hotaru being PROFESSOR FUCKING TOMOE, both had a rlly traumatic event alter the course of their life, and both died tragically, were reborn, and have a found family after being reborn, shadow being team dark and saturn being uranus neptune and pluto

Rouge - Sailor Uranus - rouge arguably COULD have been neptune but she lacks the grace that neptune has , and i feel like overall she suits uranus waaay more

When did your dislike of SatAM, Archie, and IDW comics start to form? I'm just asking out of curiosity

I mean I don't think I ever liked SatAM. I watched episodes as a kid, I even owned a VHS tape. And I vividly remember watching it and being like "who are all these people? Why isn't Tails doing anything? That guy doesn't look anything like Robotnik. None of this looks like the games." And pretty much the same reaction whenever I'd look at an issue of Archie.

Actually I vividly remember having an issue of Archie that took place after the Sonic Adventure 2 storyline, and being VERY confused by it. Sonic came back to earth and everyone thought he was dead for some reason? And he went to Sally who was at his grave and they made out. And then Shadow crash landed into a crater nearby, and when he woke up he immediately punched Sonic in the face for no reason I think (or the other way around?). And then they both had to run off together to deal with something going on, and they were like >=o at each other the whole time.

And again, my response at the time was "what the fuck is even happening? Since when did anyone think Sonic died at the end of SA2? Who the fuck is this chick, shouldn't Sonic be kissing Amy? Why is Shadow somehow alive? Why doesn't any of this look like the games?"

I can't remember if I played the games first or if I saw the cartoon first. I didn't actually have cable for a long time, as a kid. We had basic TV for quite a long time. I vividly remember when we finally got network cable, my entire family danced around in a circle singing "we got cartoon network~!" lol. So I don't remember if I would have had access to the Sonic cartoons before I had a Genesis and played Sonic 2 on it. But I do know regardless of whichever I was exposed to first, video games were my jam and I played Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 CONSTANTLY. I absolutely loved Tails. He is the reason I am the foxeh you see before you. And I remember viscerally despising that Tails was treated as this useless stupid little kid in SatAM. (AoStH was much better, because Tails even got his whole little episode where he got to Home Alone the badniks while protecting a petrified Sonic).

I got a Dreamcast FOR Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. And when Sonic Adventure 2 Battle came for the gamecube I played that game religiously. Just, constantly. I'd replay the story over and over. And around that time I was really into Dragon Ball Z too, and there weren't any good Dragon Ball games besides Budokai which could only do so much for me. So I remember that I would play Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 and just recast all the Sonic characters as Dragon Ball characters in my imagination. Sonic was Goku, Shadow was Vegeta, Knuckles was Piccolo, Amy was Chichi, Tails was Gohan, Chaos was Cell, Eggman was Dr. Gero, Rouge was Android 18. I played those games over and over and over again, I loved them. And every single time I was ever exposed to Archie or Sonic X, my reaction was the same as it had always been: "Who are these people? Why doesn't this look like the games?"

I don't know how my feelings might be different if I hadn't played the Sonic games, but did watch the cartoons/read the comics. Frankly, I doubt the cartoons and comics would have had much interest to me just on their own. They were very drab, had boring colors and a loooooot of dialog, and when it came to Archie it was incredibly bad art back then. Why would I watch SatAM/read Archie when I could watch more Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon and Sailor Moon/read what was being released in monthly Shonen Jump? Even if I hadn't been a Gamer (tm) I was also too much of a weeb. Around that time I had also become a pretty voracious reader thanks to Harry Potter too, so I had branched out into the Artemis Fowl books and The Hobbit. Sorry to be a dick, but... I was consuming a LOT of really high quality media as a kid, fucking SatAM/Archie didn't have a CHANCE x3 I would have thought that shit was boring and stupid no matter what. And the fact I loved the Sonic video games so deeply only sealed the deal - that shit WASN'T the Sonic I knew and loved, so it was worthless to me.

I was predisposed to look unfavorably on IDW Sonic from the moment it started, but I DID give it a chance. I read the first four issues when they were being released on that weekly basis launch rush. And I was NOT impressed. It was exactly what I expected it to be. And all I could say was "who are these people? and why doesn't it look like the video games?" Nothing had changed. After issue #7 I fucking dropped it, I think seeing that fight between Sonic and Shadow really angered me and I didn't even bother looking at the comic again until well after the Metal Virus arc had been resolved. I only started reading the comic again within the last couple years for the sake of making my longform critical riffs on it.

I don't think I'd have EVER liked these fucking comics or shows. But it was my deep lifelong love for the video games that caused me to start HATING them. My hate towards SatAM/Archie/IDW is equal to my love for the video games. And god damn do I love the video games, always have. And it is because of my love for the video games that whenever I see a new piece of Sonic media that is not the video games, beit Sonic Prime or IDW or the movies, or any of the spin offs of yore, my question will always be "who are these people? And why doesn't it look like the video games?"

Alright here we go, I haven't done this in years but decided to do it this year as a kinda roundup of some of the best games I've played this year and why I picked them, my kinda criteria for picking them is they have to be games I've actually finished, and actually came out this year, I don't usually include ports but remakes do make it in for me, and there will be a section near the bottom for games I did like a lot but didn't actually come out this year, so uhh let's get started i guess gonna get the Triple A junk out of the way first I think, so first off:

Spider-Man 2, rly liked the first one and the Miles Morales games and this one just continued on the story and whatever, it improved on a lot of things over the first game and I think it ended up just being more enjoyable overall, plus like, 19 inches of Venom and whatever, villains maybe weren't as good as the previous game but there was some rly good gameplay sections with some of them, tho once again i felt like the sidequests fell a bit short but they did at least have boss fights and more villain stuff in them so that was good, good game 👍

Pikmin 4, and no i'm not editing this picture thank u, pretty much the best one in the series? just good overall and even tho i didn't 100% it i'm pretty sure the bonus mode you get is just a mini remake of the original game so that's cool, overall really good, definitely dragged near the end tho and kinda felt like it was going on too long, but still good, this was also like the only major Nintendo release of this year i played for more than like, an hour lol, outside of one dlc game 3 be:

Final Fantasy 16, this one is weird because I both loved and hated it at the same time, not rly much to say about it other than its the worst 10/10 video game i've ever played, it has some of the highest highs in anything i've ever played and its offset by some of the most boring shit in the world that made me want to eat my own head at times, it's good but it's also shit, it also runs like absolute ass for no reason and square enix were convinced it was totally 100% fine and didn't need to be patched and even when they did it still didn't fix it, there's literally no way I can sell anyone on this game, play Asura's Wrath instead 👍 okey i guess 4&5 are kinda gonna be rolled into one so:

Dead Space and Resident Evil 4 Remakes, both really good remakes of really good video games, but at the same time don't really replace the original versions? there's both no reason to play these over the OG releases but they're also different enough that it's fine for both original and remakes to exist, so worth playing if you like the original releases, i guess the only complaint i have is they cut out operation Ada and seperate ways from RE4 remake and then sold it back to us as dlc, but its actually more complete than the original version and worth the price i think, still annoying but hey, modern videos games babey

ok i guess next is like "non triple A games" and weird games that I enjoyed, not all of these are indie games but they're not triple A stuff so? 🤷

Robocop: Rouge City, its basically Robocop 2.5 the movie the video game, it's kinda jank, it's kinda slow to be expected but it's pretty fun and funny just seeing Robocop interact with people and then like, grab people off their motorcycles and throw them into exploding barrels, it's dumb it's good it rly captures the 80s jank of Robocop pretty well 👍 next is technically a game that didn't come out this year but it did because literally no one uses apple arcade so

Air Twister, this is probably the fucking weirdest game i've played in a very long time, i went in expecting to play a modern Space Harrier instead i got a lock on style shooter with a soundtrack that is just some band emulating Queen songs, no joke, i was just blown away the whole time at what was happening, it wasn't until i died and ran out of credits that i ended up in the games main menu which had so much stuff i was just clicking menus for about 20 mins and kept discovering more and more video game nonsense to play and unlock, SUPER weird, pretty fun, Yu Suzuki why did you release this on apple arcade originally and WHAT were you on when you made this sir, good job next i guess is

Graze Counter GM, an updated/sequel to Graze Counter, one of the first Shmups i've gotten in to and it's just really fun, loads of characters, about 8? stages to play, good basic gameplay mechanics, bunch of different difficulties and options to play with and it's just a lot of fun for a 20 min ish run through the game, def inspired me to play more shmups and get better at them, good game next we finally got some FPS games

Warhammer 40k Boltgun, classic boomer shooter style game, very stompy and heavy feeling but also really fast and fun, really enjoyed how colourful the game is and the fact there's a dedicated taunt button that does nothing by make you crack your knickles and yell things, only major complaint i had was there wasn't enough boss variety and one of the is kinda straight bs some of the time, but for the most part it was a lot of fun, also corvus helmet best helmet 👍 more FPS gamign which was a semi recent release?

Sprawl, it's currently on sale but its cheap anyways, from the banner art alone you can tell the dev is a MGS and Ghost in the Shell fan, and playing the game you can tell that too somewhat, really fun really gritty and pretty fast paced, has controllable slomo bullet time which is now something I love in games?? soundtrack is good and yeah, it's just good, really cool aesthetically has that very gritty industrial kowloon walled city cyberpunk look and feel to it and very satisfying to play, really good. last thing for games this year is a DLC

I really like the Xenoblade Chronicles series, and the XB3 dlc is a really good final wrap up of the game, lots of fanservice in the good way and just plays well and is fun, ties up a lot of story junk you'd want to know, I still think the XBC2 dlc is the best playing XBC thing but this is very good and just very fun, can't say too much without spoiling anything in the series lol but I enjoyed it a lot after finishing off XBC3 ok halfway there (joke) :^) next is games that didn't come out this year but I did play and really liked sooo

I got into racing games i guess around this time last year, I picked up Gran Turismo 7 in maybe January or February and played it a lot since, not the most exciting game or best or feature full but it has stuff that I like, and as a result has gotten me more into cars, car games and just made me better at it, had a lot of fun and the big update they did semi recently has just made the game better yehaw time??

not really much to say about Evil West other than it's what a new xbox 360/PS3 era action game would be like, just without the jank and with more convenience, not afraid to be cheesy and dumb its just a standard level based action game where you're a techno cowboy kinda guy fighting vampires, it's good it's fun and it's not that hard 🤠 nya:

one of the first games I played this year was Stray cuz i got it in an early sale, I had no real idea what to expect and I enjoyed every moment of it, really good aesthetics and design and an interesting post apocalypse style world you get to explore, you really end up caring about all the robot people and the cat and everything, also you get a meow button so its good 😺 more FPS game

I'd always seen this game just never picked it up, I think Severed Steel is one of my favourite FPS games ever now, the main story/campaign is only about 3 hours long, i beat it in one sitting and i think my face hurt when i was done because i was just grinning and laughing like an idiot the whole time because of how fun it was, there's also a bunch of extra modes to keep playing, the music is good and just everything about the game is fun which was my main takeaway from it, i didn't care that it was short I cared because of how much fun i had, highly recommend if you like sliding into guys, stealing their weapons and blasting them with it before they hit the ground, and with controllable bullet time if you want that too 👍👍 in a similar vein to the above, i guess the oldest game on this list is:

Outrun 2006: coast 2 coast, its the home port of Outrun 2, which includes Outrun 2 and a bunch of extra stuff, similar to Severed Steel this is just the most fun I've had with a racing/car game, it doesn't matter that i'm not super into Ferraris or that it's not realistic or whatever, it's just pure fun, and I don't have to spend a million dollars at the arcade to keep playing, so that's good woa you made it to the end!!!!!!! but wait!!! I played a lot of games this year, and even tho what I said about the previous ones was true, it was kinda hard for me to pick an actual game of the year, i did enjoy a lot of stuff but it didnt feel like anything stood out to me SO much that it deserved a "best game of the year" position for me, so the closest thing to that was:

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, hit a lot of plus points for me, I liked that I had to play the game 3 different times for different endings and a true end type thing, i did get frustrated early on but i kept coming back to play more, it def felt more of an action game than a mech game but customizing and messing with builds to get through fights was fun, tank legs thank u, it was also a similar situation to when elden ring came out, and everyone was playing it at the same time and sharing tips and builds and stuff which felt rly cool and nice and added to the whole experience, my only complaint is i wish it just had an option to start a second save file and do it all again, but oh well. and that's it! there's a bunch of stuff I didn't include in this, but i think this list is good enough for now, maybe next year this'll be a youtube video instead? I hope next years games are just as good, if not better, but even if they're not there's still a lot to play and explore 🐁🐁

It's WIP Wednesday again!

Alright, the tag game didn't work super great either, but that's okay. I got one person to play and they've got a really cool webcomic wip so it's all good lol

So, no art wips this week, but I do have an announcement.

The first chapter of To Catch a Hedgehog will be posted on AO3 next Thursday (probably after I get home from taking my chemistry exam)! Shadow: "I didn't ask you to do that." 

Rouge: "You asked me if I was willing to be fired. I'm not. I'm compromising." 

Shadow: "Fair enough." 

There was another chime, and a new email address appeared in his inbox. No profile picture. The name was a string of nonsensical numbers and letters. 

yy783y7hhuqq7ht: "Would have come up with something cooler if my roommate had let me but oh well. It's me." 

Shadow rolled his eyes before he replied. 

Shadow: "What would you have come up with?" 

Sonic: "idk, fastest.thing.alive? Oh, wait... fuck, that's my ex's email. DAMN IT WHY'D HE TAKE THE COOL ONE?"

Shadow bit back a laugh as another message from Rouge came through. 

Rouge: "Look, just be careful, okay? It's not just losing your job you'll have to worry about." 

Shadow: "I know." 

He closed the window with their chat and turned his focus back to Sonic. 

Shadow: "Anyway, who is it that's gone completely 'Netic?" 

Sonic: "...Alright, here's an idea. It would be easier if I showed you. But since I can't trust you not to try and shoot my brains out, you come unarmed, and I bring back-up." 

Shadow: "Alright... but come where?"

Sonic: "The Mobius Strip. It's an Xtreme racing track. I used to race there not too long ago." 

Shadow: "Why did you stop?" 

Sonic: "Eh, dated a guy I met there for a little while, but he's just kind of a douche, so I try to avoid him." 

Shadow recalled the green-feathered hawk he'd seen talking to Sonic the night he followed him and Knuckles down to Station Square, and his quills stood in revulsion as he shuddered. If that was who he thought he was, he could see why Sonic would want nothing to do with him. 

Shadow: "Do you miss it?" 

Sonic: "Well, yeah, I guess... It was decent money for me too. But I couldn't trust that he wouldn't sabotage me because we broke up, so I cut my losses..." 

Shadow: "I take it you won quite a bit then? Or were you a foul player?"

Sonic: ">:( Rude, man. I race fair and square. Not my fault I'm aerodynamic." 

Shadow: "I've seen you on your gear. That's abnormally fast." 

Sonic: "Okay, yes, but that was after I quit. I had a friend juice it up for me. Better for running from the Hounds. And you. Oh, wait... you have those stupid rocket boots." 

Shadow: "Implants. Got them shortly after the Council died." 

Sonic: "Dude, just say they were murdered. We all know they were. Hell, you might have even done it."

Shadow: "Now who's being rude? I didn't. That was somebody else. At that time I was still in college." 

Sonic: "You went to college?"

Shadow: "Had to drop out before I got my bachelor's."

Still having the best time playing dragon age inquisition!

So I wanna ramble on alittle bit about my playthrough so :

I went really hard fighting red templars untill 3 in the morning the other day that when i went to sleep i dreamt that i was personally ass deep in red templars killing them lol

Also i managed to get my Vivian approval with my inquisitor up enough that she doesn't insult her looks anymore (although i'll miss that it was my fav thing lol that low approval cut scene is so funny "Vivian why is my furniture being moved around? Cause i wanna piss you off ofc my dear inquisitor i hope you seethe when you can't find your shit at night hehe" I LOVE HER) my inquisitor is extremely pro mage freedom so it didn't go well with her at first but they both started to warm up to each other once my inquisitor started sitting for judgments

Vivian really likes the way Keres deals with things!

Speaking of Vivian imagine my surprise when i go online to see fan art of the most gorgeous woman i have ever seen only to be met with hate

People call her annoying and a bitch for being realistic when Wynn also did the same type of "questioning your choices and thier impact on the future" the only difference is that Wynn's wisdom was due to her age so she was kind and motherly but Vivian's wisdom is due to her experience with unforgiving harsh society ofc shes gonna be no bullshit to the point with you

Wynn's experience with other people is entirly based on taking care of young mages in her circle Vivian was first enchanter of the imperial fucking court she had to deal with extreme shit and stupid nobles and probably disgusting advances from people like!!!! Sigh i feel like No one gets viv like i do lmao

Anyway as for Keres who is a human rouge inquisitor up untill this point she allied with mages, saved the charges, killed alexis, sent the goat guy to tevinter, sent the mayor to fereldan, is besties with everyone but mostly Dorian and Sera, and is dating blackwell!

Well actually WE are dating blwckwell hehehe the other day while fighting darkspawn he said "are you alright love?" To keres And i just about died i was shaking screaming giggling dnsndnd ( i know the plot twist of his story dont worry)

We met Hawk but im kinda scared of doing that whole thing so instead i finshed up two areas and am dealing with empress de lione Region rn I claimed the last red templars keep and killed the hinterlands high dragon. I wanna kill another dragon but im literally so scared of them i cant even approach thier areas dhsksjdkd.

Anyway im having alot of fun as you can see!

long rest~ parsley apparently didnt notice senna when he got back xD cheesy bacon potato soup from zen thanks. teya is still pouting from getting punched. wheatley waves at her. senna is groggily sipping something and staring into the void.

parsley asks zen if it would kil him to make some bacon. "theres bacon in it!" everyone clowns on zen for only soup xD parsley is now in charge of cooking!

senna asks if parsley notices anything different xD "did you cut your hair?" senna just quietly nods and resumes sipping, then cleans her weapons and plays some shogi. parsley feeds rouge some soup! shes also sick of the soup XD

hes gonna feed her fingers?! bro no. "this is how it gets started." he makes mimicking hand motions and senna is just watching his hand very strongly. uh oh shes in playful cat mode. shes getting ready to pounce! HES DISTRACTED TACKLE! SP runs over and also starts bapping him as he hits senna xD

wheatley sits on his legs?! senna is fucking gnawing on his arm and wagging her tail xD wheatley waves over teya as a peace offering to harrass parsley XD he tells rouge to attack but she just sits there. teya gets her skeleton out and animates her to harrass parsley xD parsley grabs a bone and starts smacking senna with it. she grabs the bone and walks off with it and plays shogi.

teya collects the rest of her bones on the ground F. wheatley pats parsley on the head and gets up. he just keeps lying on the ground. wheatley goes to bug and join senna in shogi. she tries to wave android over for some game. declined F. no frens ;-;

camp backed, off we go! or not. parsley disassociates xD senna gives teya back the bone. wheatley keeps giving teya sad eye. before we can go a voice behind us says "HO THERE!" we see a person covered in full plate armor head to toe?

parsley has hand on sword immediately. "I seek the one named senna!" "Whats it to you?" wheatley stands in front of her protectively xD he claims to be a friend and seeks her aid. she peeks from behind him "may i help you wish something sir?"

she squints and slowly approaches him. its a lich! a flaming skull! THE GREAT PAPYRUS! he strikes an epic pose! senna screams and lifts him in the air! "Your alive!" "Yes but not quite!" parsleys asks teya why everyone they meet is dead? papyrus's god brought him back as a holy lich! 3 liches met so far lol.

senna puts him down, wags her tail, and introduces him as her brother in law. he says hes been tracking her down cause they need her help. senna stammers shes on a quest to save the world. "is it related to those robots ive seen lately?" the kingdom had been attacked! the followers of izaris and lady maria drove them out, then decided to stay and strange things have been happening. familiar things?

she drags him away from the group xD parsley immediately turns to the others and goes "ok wtf is wrong with those 2." teya fucking casts an illusion and hidden steps fuck.

senna asks how he even found her. he says he died of old age xD "and how is...your....brother..." oh hes fine spingledorf helped him xD just gives him new bodies! and how is cimbus? hes king now! refused to remarry awww. senna looks so fucking sad.

"Im sure whatever the issue is you dont especially need me for it." "But you'd understand it the most, it might involve 'them.' " senna gets pale and shaky. "haha no thats not possible, its been handled. why would you even consider that?" theres been some reoccuring instances. similiar tactics and actions. dont know who is doing this but they need her help and shes the most familiar.

senna says she cannot get involved in it, and that they can very easily handle it themselves and theres a reasonable explanation. teya has been relaying all of this back to the others. he says cimbus sent him specifically to get her, its that serious. can never hide from family!

she still turns him down and insists they can do it on their own. wheatley explains whats going on to the others. "Oh shit is it finally sennas turn?" thanks parsley xD hes losing it and thinks its a conspiracy, i mean- hes becoming self aware oh no. how are they all connected.

he says people have started to disappear and shes good at tracking down the Noble Ember. "not very noble if you ask me." senna clenches her fists hard and grabs him. "They are not here i dealt with it i ended it." parsley sees wheatley using message and reminds him to update them.

papyrus points out it has to be them. wheatley wails that the noble embers killed chell and he will cry. senna tells papyrus they lost enough time, and if somehow this is happening, lady maria can deal with it. they have to go save the world.

as senna tries to leave, papyrus says maria disappeared as well! senna whips around concerned. how when why?! in the chaos of the robot attack some cultists snuck in maybe. influence for them is growing, more missing cases coming up. sennas church goers have tried to help but its just dead ends.

Serkonos isnt far from the dragony area their going to, so should be easy! dragons, then serkonos! senna has to ask the others first. teya heads back swiftly to beat them xD

senna asks if after they get past the dragons they can visit her homeland to deal with some troubles. she points it out on the map and its pretty close to their path so its fine. and papyrus will join us! wheatley asks if he wants to spar! senna says they can wait for that they have a lot of ground to cover.

teya tries to steal his fucking name senna is so fucking pissed. senna asks papyrus about some people she knew. culius is the same as ever, the whorish assassin lol. parsley is like 'he has a haram?!' lol.

bern and ribbon? her clothes shop is still going, bern has been helping hunt down the assholes. they let bern go all loose, a full 25 feet! (magic ring keeps him normal sized) parsley is like wtf. "he just kept growing from what he told me."

senna shyly asks how frisk is doing. their an artificer! very smart! gathering all that scrap. "Does your brother know your...bringing me?" "Of course i told him!" hes been busy lately trying to run his merchant business. somehow lazy and hardworking.

senna suddenly shudders, realizing shes gonna have to deal with being queen when she gets back. get cimbus to revoke that. teya goes over to parsley and tries to find out why hes lost in thought. he glares at her xD reminding him we care about him so yeah were gonna bug him.

wheatley keeps trying to fish papyrus for info on frisk lol. parsley is talking shit in sylvain about papyrus wtf leave him alone. senna warns papyrus to stay away from cirmes. she also tells him about the hydra that attacked parsley and no one else remembers. now their making fun of her for being drunk and senile xD

senna tells him about fighting the eyeball lady in the feywilds. wheatley says she was familiar. "we also time traveled a bit, dont do that." teya and parsley are pissed lol. "i almost drowned again that was great." "sorry!" lol.

papyrus has been kicking lots of evil ass over the centuries lol. "How did he even become king?" parsley and teya dont fucking trust him wtf. sennas just happy to see him again and asks how he actually tracked them down. he just winks lol. she starts talking about some stuff from the past. parsley accidentally lore drops robogod lol.

senna asks if they want anything from her queenly powers before she surrenders the queen title. zen wants to meet culius's harem, senna says no xD wheatley says he just wants to spend as much time with everyone as possible. parsley wants a house. android doesnt want anything. teya has no idea and wheatley wants us to all live together awww.

ive drafted a whole list of the phantom thieves/the hamburgulars but due to like 3 of them not having codenames i haven't posted it. however its p much the same as canon p5r just with the arcanas swapped and the plots slightly altered (palace rulers no 2, 4, 5, 6 & 8 are different)

so right now i have 6 chapters published on ao3 under the name The Butterfly Effect and tbh im quite proud of the story so far! i love fool!yusuke and the rest of the starting team are a joy to write (esp chariot!makoto and lovers!futaba, who have a really fun dynamic!). the next palace is completely original so i gotta figure out the puzzles for it lol

tbh the one who's persona im most proud of is empress!ann - she was originally in the justice position but i changed it around when i made futaba the lovers and goro the priestess, switching haru with her - and her persona is based on a aotearoan (new zealander) spy during ww2 named nancy wake! her original persona name was fiocca - another codename wake used - but i went with hélène instead!

i also really like priestess!goro's persona. i struggled a bit to find a persona with a similar aesthetic to canon makoto's, but then i was listening to a podcast on the salem witch trials and reminded of giles corey, the guy who after his wife was accused of witchcraft straight up went "fuck these witch trials, its bullshit and im not going to be part of it" which lead to him being accused of witchcraft and instead of going along with the mass hysteria of a lot of the young people of salem, decided to be silent and take the punishment of basically getting squished by rocks. instead of revealing other witches, he just kept saying "more weight!" forcing the executioners to push rocks down on him until he died

also lovers!futaba was another persona that i thought was super fun - she's based on charlotte corday from the french revolution, who was not a supporter of the jacobin side of the french revolution and accused the newspaper writer jean-paul marat of basically encouraging violence. so, she decided to trick him into reading a list of potential enemies, and while he was distracted, she decided to stab him! this killed him, and unfortunately she got executed, but she's best remembered for this quote; "I killed one man to save 100,000"

Shadow is made to be soft and warm, like a cat, so Maria would like him better. This is also why Sonic likes to cuddle with him more in the winter.

Shadow learned how to play the guitar from Sonic

Sonic post-unleashed has a severe case of the midnight munchies that is virtually incurable. Shadow has learned how to keep this from being a problem by making him a snack to eat at night whenever possible.

Sonic learned how to use in-line skates from Shadow, but has to hold his hand whenever he does it. Many see this and assume that it's for romantic reasons, but there's actually a much more practical one as well. Sonic has a tendency to try to move as fast as possible when on wheels. The first time he mastered being able to move while on the skates, he decided to move at top speed... and crashed into a wall with enough force to leave a permanent imprint of himself on it. Shadow, as you can expect, laughed at Sonic.

Shadow is an amazing baker

Sonic and Shadow's first kiss was "A complete accident". Sonic claims to have just "slipped and kissed Shadow while sparring". It is highly speculated that Sonic is lying, and he planned this. Amy was devastated, Rouge nearly died laughing. Vector owed Tails nearly 40,000 Rings and was driven bankrupt again.

Shadow is somehow both naturally talented with the art of flirting and has the romantic senses of a brick wall at the same time.

satine's mother died in childbirth, and that left her and her father alone and struggling for money.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎he was a cold man, who focused more on survival than loving his daughter and only child.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎her father began selling her time to men on the streets of paris when she was 13 years old, and told her that she had to do this to survive, she had no other option.

when he started gaining money from the use of his daughter, the abuse became more common, and aggressive, and when satine was 17 she ran away from him to the village of monmarte.

she begged for scraps in alleys, eating from trash cans and begging for coins.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎this is how she met zidler, he saw her there and offered her a new life in this dance club he had envisioned.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎he promised her a home, roof, safety, and she went with him.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎the moulin opened when she was 19, and she stayed until she was 29.

act i:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎pre-moulin rouge film - moulin rouge film.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎satine is a regular at the theatres as a guest of armand, paying for her time from the mouiln.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎satine is turned by the duke during el tango.

act ii:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎season 1 of iwtv,‎ ‎satine and christian live in nola, neighboring and befriending louis, lestat, and especially claudia.

act iii:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎satine and christian move to rome, to remain near enough to claudia should she need them.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎claudia dies, and the two fall out of contact with louis and armand, although satine tries desperately to hear from them.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎she corners them eventually and finds out the truth about claudia.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎this is when her distaste for louis and loathing for armand begins.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎christian dies at the end of act iii.

act iv:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎satine struggles with identity and humanity, kills recklessly, and more.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎she sets pi's on armand and louis to keep tabs on them, and learns about the interview via that.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎she drops in for one day of the interview, and offers to be daniel's companion after he is turned until he is comfortable.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎this ends up worsening her sense of self and she abandons daniel with no contact.

act i:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎satine arrived at the moulin under the name ██████ ███████‎ when she was nineteen years old.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎she ended up working for the moulin for ten years, with promises whispered in her ear of stardom and fame.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎do these things and you will be rewarded, sleep with these men and you will be rewarded in time... in time.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎promises turned into threats turned back into promises in a flat circle over and over again, especially as she became the star‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎(a horrific version of her dream).‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎the sparkling diamond.

this very sparkle caught the attention of an old vampire, named the duke, who offered to finally make satine a star.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎he manipulated her the whole time, throughout time, to get her to accept his gift: a gift, a curse, the vampiric bite.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ when she rejected him, he turned her anyway: out of anger, out of spite, in hopes that by giving her such a gift, she would finally adore him,‎ ‎but it only made her hate him more.

when she confessed her feelings for christian on the stage, the duke made a final decision: leave satine to die in her transformation all alone, and that she nearly did.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎instead, however, she faked her death, and killed the mortuaries who tried to take her body away.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎she found christian then, and stayed hidden with him for months, feeding desperately at night, until she felt strong enough to try and turn him...

note:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎christian writes a novel, entitled "moulin rouge!" that gets turned into a jukebox musical in 2001 starring t*m cruise.

act ii:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎christian finalizes his novel before being turned, and the two fake their deaths and run away to new orleans.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎it made satine feel close enough to paris, and gave them somewhere to hide as they adjusted to their new companionship, and their new immortality.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎it is here that they meet and eventually befriend lestat de lioncourt,‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎the first vampire they had met outside of the duke,‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎and then eventually louis de pointe du lac and claudia de pointe du lac.

the two vampiric families find some sort of solace in each other,‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎enjoying each others company until things start to go south and the relationship between louis and lestat start to unravel‎...

satine and christian become a sort of safe haven for claudia,‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎getting a coffin for her to spend the day if she ever needed to.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎the further claudia grew from lestat, the closure she grew to the other two.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎eventually, she warned them to go out of town, for which satine's initial response was concern of course, but claudia urged them to leave, go somewhere just for the week, and so, respecting claudia's agency and intelligence: they did.

when they returned, there was a letter in satine and christian's house, a letter from claudia explaining that they had tried to kill lestat and had to run,‎ that people were onto them and may be onto christian and satine too.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎they should consider leaving...

act iii:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎more ... to come.

act iv:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎following christian's death in 2014, satine faces a severe identity and humanity crisis.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎she becomes one of the most ruthless vampiresses on the planet, hunting without discrimination, recklessly pushing the boundaries of her abilities and of the people around her.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎it was then that she set pi's on armand and louis.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎if she was alone, she wanted to know everything they were up to.

this lead to a phone call, confirming the arrival of one, daniel molloy, to the vampires' penthouse.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎it didn't take long for satine to piece together what was going to happen, who daniel was, and what his goal most likely had come to be.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎its difficult to tell the story accurately without her name, she decided, and she swore to herself that nothing was going to bastardize her story, christian's story, claudia's story.

she stopped by for one day, sitting in the corner much to armand's displeasure‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎(to which louis argued that it was partially her story too, and begged armand for some empathy because she was completely alone).‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎while trying hard not to be threatening, she informed daniel that if he did anything to try and tell her story, christian's story, through louis's eyes, he would regret it, and finally:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎if he did anything to make claudia look bad, it would be the last thing he ever did.

note:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎she didn't mind being a side character to louis's story, mentioned in passing, but her actual history, backstory, which was given by louis a few days before, was not daniel's to share.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎that book already exists.

louis called her following the interview, and informed her of armand's betrayal.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎had she not already loathed armand for the lack of attempting to save claudia, she loathed him more now‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎(the only person she hated more was herself).‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎she offered then to help daniel out, travel alongside him for some time as he got his footing.

it was while traveling with daniel on his press tour that satine started to hit a new low, as he kept asking for permission to tell her story, give the truth of christian and satine.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎it made her feel destructive,‎ it allowed self hatred to seep into her bones deeper than the lack of humanity.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎one day, out of the blue,‎ she abandoned daniel, the vampiress satine on the run and willing to do anything to destroy herself and what was left of her.

dc:‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎satine owns a nightclub called the moulin rouge, which acts as an undergrounds operation to get women to safety and provide them with housing and care.‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎her dancers are trained at extracting information that is sold across gotham to different buyers, and that money is funneled back into providing safety and escape.

Shadow very clearly follows that quote from Se7en "Ernest Hemingway once wrote, 'The world is a fine place and worth fighting for.' I agree with the second part."

(Rouge immediately responds to this by saying she doesn't want Shadow's emo whining to be the last thing she hears before she dies lol)

He's cynical but he still strives to do the right thing, even if he goes about it in not quite the right way sometimes.

Though I would say that the "I can't stand it" line could be interpreted as referring to the sacrifice and pain that comes from the promise of bringing hope to humanity, and not to his desire itself.

After all immediately BEFORE saying that, he said this. With ellipses inbetween, implying that this sentiment is still what is on his mind when he says the above.

The line directly before this is "So this is the final voice of the last war machine... " which I find to be one of Shadow's rawest lines ever. Fucking metal. Makes you feel like War Pigs by Sabbath ought to be playing in the background.

Honestly, the "it" is ambiguous enough that I think it could be open to multiple interpretations. I personally lean towards the interpretation that he "can't stand" having to protect a greedy warmongering species. That it would be easier to wipe them out or otherwise be eradicated - he tells Sonic that if mankind wants peace, it must destroy him and Emerl - but in his heart he knows neither one is a real solution.

It's worth bearing in mind that Shadow ends his own story by peacing out because he can't deal with Emerl's sappiness, seeing as how he insists it's "ridiculous" for a weapon to have feelings, let alone display them. This implies a degree of cognitive dissonance between what he should be doing---being a weapon, the strongest, the ultimate life form, what have you---and what he is currently doing (engaging in the superpowah of friendship). It's also why Sonic laughs that Shadow could stand to learn something from Emerl.

That's why I said maybe some part of him, in this iteration at least, feels deep down it would be easier to be a weapon of war. He wouldn't have to think about these things if he simply followed his programming. Yet he knows he is not one, and can never be due to having a soul.

On the other hand, feelings complicate matters---his feelings, that "heart" Sonic argues he has and of which he vehemently denies, render him vulnerable. And Battle!Shadow can't deal with vulnerability just yet.

The last scene you posted has him reflect on the dangers of following programming to its self-destructive end. It's an especially poignant moment foreshadowed by an earlier scene where Emerl laments a broken Chaos Gamma. Shadow says, "You see, Emerl? This is the fate of weapons of war." Emerl admits he is saddened by this, and Shadow replies: "I know."

Shadow wanted Emerl to achieve his true potential and is now left to ponder the consequences.
