my Internet has been down for HOURS i just wanna play on my computer 😭

Due to the law of supply and demand, it was only a matter of time before I drew these two. Tbh I’ve always liked orokabu, I’m a huge sucker for boss/right hand man relationships. Going through a straight up comical amount of irritating situations to get the stupid 4* guaranteed ticket from the welcome to sekai campaign. It Will Be Mine.

#I’m resuming this tomorrow it’s been hours now I’m just mad #I’m home because my parents are moving to a different state and I needed to pack whatever was left #and for some reason we just keep old devices when we’re done with them #so I borrow an adapter to allow me to connect my ancient unworking iPad mini to my laptop #factory reset it. i have to reset an old email to access the old Apple id to fully reset it.#it won’t connect to the wifi so I have to reset the settings. i find out it’s too old to run pjsk.#i find an old phone that should work. i reset it as well. I’m able to download pjsk & it takes 20 minutes.#pjsk crashes everytime I try to open it. i attempt to run bluestacks on my computer. bluestacks doesn’t have 64 bit for mac yet.#i get a free trial of parallels and download windows onto my laptop. this takes 40 minutes.#i try to download and run bluestacks on that. m1 macs apparently can’t run bluestacks 64 bit through parallels.#i go find the final old phone that I had forgotten about. it takes forever to charge because the charging port is fucked up. i reset it as #well. it can’t connect to wifi. i try a hotspot on my current phone. service is too awful. i try to do wifi sharing from my laptop.#you have to be connected to the router via a cable for that to work.#at this point it has been like 3 hours. I’m giving up because I’ve been down this route before #when I attempted to run 32 bit steam games on m1 mac #(wine64 doesn’t exist for m1 macs yet -> attempt to run boot camp -> boot camp isn’t a thing anymore on Apple silicon -> attempt to run #several different programs that allow me to run windows on a mac. none of them work. ->#look into linux & give up. -> attempt to implement the unfinished/unbottled wine64 code thru terminal. ->#fuck up and delete some important file & have to fix that (misery inducing) -> keep trying. i think I downloaded a Mac coding program at #some point? i realize I have zero coding knowledge and this is a mistake. -> give up and purchase crossover. game doesn’t even work. ->#3 months later update to the latest OS so I can have enough storage to play psychonauts 2. find out the $60 crossover #purchase was a bad idea because ‘heehee crossover doesn’t work on that buy the new version’ (fuck crossover).#my toxic trait is my belief that I can figure out anything via google and sheer stubbornness. usually this is true. occasionally there are #exceptions to this rule. most of them are because owning Apple products is a mistake.#i think if I reset the router tomorrow I can solve this problem but I can also just go elsewhere with better service or wait until I’m home #now it’s a matter of pride. and also free 4*/I have nothing better to do because I’m stuck here until Tuesday.#<- this is all normal behavior by the way. who doesn’t spend 8 hours ramming their head against a problem every once and a while. enrichment #mine #oh I forgot. i also looked into cloning the app but that would cost money for something that might not even work.#‘just log out and make an alt’ and risk losing my account? I’m stupid enough to overwrite it on accident.

The goal is for every episode this season to be at minimum 30 minutes long. Which is only about 12-14 pages of script. The first 4 episodes are already scripted and mapped out, so we’re making good progress!

If you wanna try troubleshooting the wifi situation, try going into device manager and disabling then re-enabling the network card. My laptops have been having issues recognizing any wifi at all and that always works to fix them even when a shutdown doesn't. Both windows 10 and 11.

Sometimes, I forget how stupid fast my internet is these days until I need to download something big on my laptop and switch to a wired connection.

10 minutes to download 50gb of monster hunter fun \o/

#this is on my steam deck. I got a dock with an ethernet port so I can get my faster speeds with it :)#I wish I had any idea on the logistics of getting my router into my living room so I can #use wired connections all the time instead of it being in the front room #cuz the signal gets weak towards the back of my home with it in the spot it is now #I stumbled on a website thats doing a special offer for monster hunter on steam #2 games/dlc for £11 4 for £20 or all 6 for £30 #I just went with world and iceborne cuz i didn't really like rise too much and i dont care about the cosmetics from the deluxe packs :)#Wireless is fine. i get around 50 mbps in my living room on laptop #but it sure would be nice to have 10 times that all the time xD

#.hundetxt #moving from shitty mandated apartment wifi to a ''bring your own router'' apartment has been a godsend #like holy shit someone using the ethernet cable doesnt boot everybody else off!#a fourth person staying home and playing his games doesnt fuck up the connectivity for anyone else!!#marsh and i can play minecraft in the same apartment without either of us teleporting everywhere #my mobile hotspot worked better than the wifi most of the time.

im so close to throwing my ipad out the windowwwww oh my god why is it not connecting to ANY wifi EXCEEEEEEEPPTTTTT my phone hotspot. not even my computer hotspot.

#like helloooooo???? i think it also did connect to the uni wifi but its literally not connecting to either of my home wifis #(idk why our router has 2 wifis but it does). and yeah i did change the password some time ago and honestly #when you put the 'new' password it straight up doesnt work anywhere. so im trying out other possible passwords it could be #(like the og password thats on the router) but nothinnnnggggg works. also sometimes it says 'cannot connect to wifi'#and other times it says 'wifi password is incorrect' (like for example it says that when i put the 'current' wifi password)#im literally about to have a stroke idk what the fuck is wrong. im pretty sure its bc i changed something in wifi settings but idk #i reset the network settings and EVEN NOW its not working #z xarre

Great thing to wake up to: the WiFi connection system of your old already kinda failing laptop being borked for no apparent reason. love it 👍

#like it can only be the laptop as i am publishing this post from my phone with immaculate wifi connection to the same router #my laptop is usually connected to. rebooting didn't help and running diagnostics also didn't yield anything #i love my life lmao
