If you could get to know and/or write with another writer (or more) who would it be?

Hey there! Sorry for taking all day to answer this. You really got me thinking and I didn't want to give an answer halfway just to get it done quickly.

I would first and foremost want to write with my dear friend @photogirl894. As a fellow major fan of The Bad Batch, I think a mutual love for this show and the characters would make way for an awesome story, and plus, the way that she can bring her original characters to life is stunning to me. Y'all should read her works, such as Sun and Rain (Hunter x OC) and Mirrors in the Force (Kanan x OC)

I would also love to get to know @freesia-writes since I know the love for TBB is also mutual. I'm so in love with the way she writes Crosshair particularly.

Another writer I respect greatly is @nahoney22. Not only does Honey capture each bad batcher fantastically well but her personality is top tier and I think everyone should get to know her.

@darthzero22 is very dear to me as well, and we share many fandoms besides Star Wars that we have bonded over the years with. She is a kind, wonderful soul who writes beautifully and I'm honored to know her.

Of course @lizartgurl your writing does not go unnoticed as well!!

I am still here !

I am not gone from this site!!!!

So, now that this is out of the way, here comes the update on me.

First of all, mom is doing pretty good considering the fact she has had some health troubles and all. She is still having some issues, which is why I am still there at her place helping out her and my brother for as far as I can. But, she is slowly improving an dgetting better!

When all things seemed to calm down enough, I started to have some trouble with my chronic health thingies and , well... I just really was pissed and annoyed, but hung in there and had my pain medication increased a little, it is helping and going better. Pain attacks and just simple attacks from Fibromyalgia and such are happening, but it is more manageable now.

In november I managed to go to the Comic Con again, and ofcourse I bought me some nice SW thingies ( duh ), including a nice food bowl for Boba Catt and a nice lill harness for the summer time when we go out and about! It was awesome and I enjoyed it while missing my lill love bug Boba.

Back in December we had a huge scare though. My dad was hospitalised and we found out he had some serious heart issues. He needed to get angiaplasty, which is to unblock some arteries at the heart. He has several severly blocked arteries and the surgery was high risk. I was in and out of the hospital for him every day, but he made it! He is doing very well now, but they did warn him that a new atatck might not end well. We take things one day at a time and he seems to have taken the warning to heart and is doing his best.

Now, to end this tale of woe is me with something good!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boba Catt, who is doing very well has also gotten a little brother! In December I picked up this little farm cat who is 3 months younger and the moment they met? They were thick as thieves! In the pictures you will see my beloved redhead Boba and his little brother: Jango Catt !

I really will be back again here and have so much to catch up on and enjoy. You can bet that each time I receive an update on all those awesome stories, I smile and know I will have lots to enjoy once I am back home, have things sorted and can really sit down and read nonstop!

I love you all and miss you all and think of you often!

Let’s get some fun recommendations goin around here! What’s a piece of clone content (art, fic, etc) that has stuck with you as being notably excellent? Tag it in your answer so we can all find some new fun to read! If you want, of course; feel free to ignore! 💕

Ack I really can't pick favorites, so I'll list a few I revisit often.

First is @wings-and-beskar's immaculate Wrecker fic A Gentle Touch. Masterful Wrecker writing. Last chapter in the series is spicy, but the rest are pure fluff.

@djarrex's Remembering is another that I reread often. It's such a beautiful Echo piece.

For longer fics, I'd recommend

Dominos over on A03 by meridianpony (What if fix-it fic where Domino Squad wakes up still as cadets ... but each one knows how he died. They try to fix things - including the inhibitor chips - this time around. This is rated T.

In Command by @wild-karrde - Post Order 66, Rex is selected for an undercover assignment on Lothal with Senna, a green technical specialist with an unknown past. While both are skilled in the field, neither has much experience navigating their attraction to one another. This is a spicy fic.

By Any Other Name (and subsequent sequels What Blooms in Thunder and The Light Between Oceans) by @rowansparrow. This features an incredible well fleshed out Torrent Company trooper OC and a Reader who's very much at the center of that group of soldiers. It follows canon for a while then diverges. This is M - no overt spice, but mentions and themes of war, grief, pain, regret, etc are heavy but balanced by comfort.

All are emotional journeys that are so worth going on.

There are literally so many other fics I could talk about and this is by no means a comprehensive list. If you need more or want recs for specific clones, feel free to send another ask!!

One of my favorite things you’ve ever written was when Hunter’s daughter got herself into trouble on the bridge and everyone jumped in to save her. I was wondering how Crosshair might react in a similar situation, except this time it’s HIS child that’s in danger? After the finale I just really need some Dad!Cross content. 😭😭

I think Crosshair would take it much more personally than Hunter. He’d see it as a personal failure. Yes Hunter also feels bad when his baby toddles off BUT he also understands that kids will be kids and so he doesn’t dwell on what could have been—more, what is. The facts. Baby is safe and sound. That’s all that matters. Truly.

Crosshair doesn’t see it that way.

He thinks about everything but the facts. All the could’ves and the should’ves. He could’ve kept them safe. He should’ve been paying more attention.

He could’ve lost them.

Even when they’re safe in his arms again. Crosshair carries his guilt indefinitely; no amount of reassurance is going to assuage him. It’s honestly best to just not say anything to him about it, just let his guilt run its course because it’s going to regardless. He carries the safety of others on his shoulders every minute of every day and when their safety is compromised in any way he takes that very personally. His burden is heavy.

It’s hard seeing him sulk about for that period of time afterwards but he eventually comes around—once he sees his lil nugget happy and playing again and then it all registers with him. Everything is OK.

And he swears he’s gonna do better.

When his child goes missing Crosshair would be just as frightened—downright terrified—as Hunter. But you would never know that just by looking at him. He’s dangerously calm. Hunter allows vulnerability into his stature. Crosshair doesn’t. He hides his fear substantially better—I once said Hunter is in fact so damn emotional and fueled by his emotions in real-time, whereas Crosshair internalizes it. Hunter feels in the moment but rebounds quick and is back to business. With Crosshair it’s the opposite, he has a delayed effect, feels it all later and it’s harder for him to shake.

They both cope and approach their feelings differently but all the same: the Buire are ready to tear the galaxy apart to find their ad’ike.

A fic that I have re-read several times...

There are a few lol

The first is this amazingly wonderful gift that @lilhawkeye3 wrote for me a while ago. I re-read it so much because it is just so wonderful and it makes me feel so much better when I'm feeling sick in general but especially when I am having bad cramps.

The second is this multi-chapter fic by @captainrexisboo. It is such an amazing story and I have gone back to re-read it so many times just because of how well written it is and just how spectacular she is able to write emotional stories. Every time I read this fic, I just get so enraptured with it and I am finding myself up till one in the morning to read through the whole thing again.

The third ones are this and this and this by @snippy-tano. God there is so much that I could say about these fics. They just give my heart such a leap any time I read them and I'm usually wiping away a few tears by the end just because the payoff to the build is always so so well done.

The last fic(s) I'm going to recommend aren't one's that I have re-read yet because I am still making my way through the series are this and the sequel to it by @rowansparrow. I kid you now when I say these are the best fics I have ever read. I want to print them out and bind them in a book. Every chapter is like living a lifetime with these characters and the world that they create is just stunning and beautiful. I have spent sleepless nights with these fics. I have sobbed my heart out with these fics. I have theorized with these fics and hoped with every fiber of my being that I never get to the end of this fantastic journey that I have been taken on. I really don't have the words to describe how much these fics have genuinely changed my life and how they are constantly present in my mind. I will scream from the heavens that these fics are so worth reading because they are.

All of these fics and all of the other things that these writers have written are absolutely spectacular. I highly suggest that you and anyone who sees this goes and checks out their masterlists because you will love what they write and they deserve all the love in the world for giving it to us.

Hello everyone!

I have been away a while from this site and all the amazing stories that I enjoy so very much, but with very good reason!

The not so fun part is that I have a mom who has some heart issues, but we are positive that we will soon hear it is getting better for her and that she will do much better too. Ofcourse I have been staying with her and my brother to help out. I also managed to actually break my toe while there and I had to get that to get better too lol.

The best thing though: I am very proud to introduce you to my new house mate: Boba Catt! Born May 22 he is now my lill big guy who will live with me and join me at moms place when I go there and usually stay there in the weekends.

Hoping to see you all again soon and sinding you a purr and a cuddle from Boba,
