Richard Speight Jr
I swear, I will talk about this amazing human being for hours.
Look at him. Just look at the man on your screen above. Knowing who Richard Speight Jr is(in real life or not), he might be doing something funny. But really, that face of his is so perfect.
His dimples
His smile
The way he talks, even if you can’t hear him or not
I know, I’m just some crazed fangirl who is obsessed with some dude, but Richard Speight Jr has changed my life.
No, I haven’t met him in person, but I am so lucky to watch him on my television. I sit in my room, watching supernatural episodes. I get so happy when I rewatch episodes with him in it. Bless the people who take videos at cons, that’s a big thing for the others who are not able to go.
Watching videos of cons is a huge reason why I love Supernatural. The actors and actresses who bring the characters to life. I see Richard on my phone. He is making jokes, making everybody laugh and smile, being an amazing human being.
A few weeks ago, I watched a video of Richard and Rob on stage when they were at jibcon. He spoke out about supporting LGBT. It changed me, I cried. Every once in a while, I would see a twitter post of his on here of him using ALL pronouns. Being a queer, it means a lot seeing your hero supporting your safe place.
Next thing
He saved Rob’s life. As everyone knows what happened back in 2013, Rob Benedict had a stroke at that years Toronto con. Richard noticed a change in his friend and took him to the hospital. He and others supported Rob through it. Richard never left his side.
Their friendship is so beautiful and too pure for this world. They work so well together.
Richard Speight Jr is amazing and such a talented actor.
He is a precious bean

He is a hot bean
He is a sweet and nice bean
He is an inspirational bean

A/N: After a sleepless night watching Criminal Minds, I got inspired to write this. And since I’m not going to sleep any time soon, why not post it? Sit back and enjoy!
(GIF is not mine!)
Rob slowly blinked awake, his head pounding from the hangover. He grabbed his phone and called you, hoping you’d actually answer this time. As usual, it went to voicemail.
“Hey, this is (Y/N), please leave a message after the beep and I’ll call back as soon as I can!”
Had he done something wrong? You never ignored him for this long. You would take a few days, cool off, and then the two of you would work it out. That’s how it always went, and he had come to learn how to communicate with you through that.
The last time he had heard from you was a couple of months ago.
“Hey, babe, I’m sorry,” he began, his voice pleading with you to understand. “Just call me back. Please.”
He hung up and forced himself out of bed, his mind reliving one of his fonder memories.
You laughed softly, pulling him into a deep kiss. “You are so cute when you’re anxious and flustered.”
He huffed, but smiled anyway, holding up the key to the house. “Well, when buying a house for their significant other, one is always a bit nervous. Now that I know you like it, I can relax.”
You giggled and grabbed the key. “Am I going to have to endure whatever furniture you picked out?”
“Nope. You get to go furniture shopping for us.”
You squealed happily and wrapped your arms around his neck. “I must be the luckiest woman alive!”
He chuckled, kissing you gently, “No, sweetheart. I’m the lucky one.”
“Rob,” Rich called, using the spare under the door mat to get in. “Rob, it’s me. Where are you, buddy?”
He made his way up the stairs, letting instinct guide him to the bedroom. Pity washed over him as he took in the state the blue eyed man was in.
Dammit, he hated this. Rob needed you. You kept the anxiety at bay, made it where he could almost forget it was even there. He smiled more, laughed easier, seemed more relaxed with you in his life.
But now, he was just an empty shell of who he truly was.
Rich shook his head with a grin. “You know, (Y/N), you might just be the best thing to ever happen to Roberto.”
“Dammit, Rich, I’ve told you not to call me that!”
You giggled as your boyfriend glared at the blond. “He’s just teasing, Rob. Calm down.”
Rich’s smile softened. “I mean it. You’re the best thing to ever happen to him.”
“Yeah, she is. And she’s all mine.” Rob laughed, wrapping an arm around you.
“I think she’s mad at me, Richie.”
Rich furrowed his brow. “Who?”
Rob shot him a desperate gaze, his eyes begging for... help? Understanding? He wasn’t even sure anymore. All he knew was the unrelenting ache in his chest, the void that only you could fill.
What he didn’t know was why you were gone.
“(Y/N)! She’s not answering her phone. I’ve left her messages, but she never calls back.”
Rich fought back the wave of emotion. This was worse than he could have imagined. Rob was spiraling, and way too fast for his own good. He was going to wind up having a panic attack and passing out again.
“Robbie, I know a therapist. She can help. I... You need to talk to someone.”
Rob stood suddenly, his eyes filled with anger.
“I don’t need a therapist! I just need to talk to (Y/N), apologize to her! I’m not sure what I’ve done, but I’m willing to apologize anyway!”
Rich sighed. “Rob-”
“Don’t!” Rob lunged, but Rich was quicker. He pinned Rob to the wall, and he knew it was all about to come to a boiling point.
“Rob, you know why she’s not answering!”
“Let me go!” Rob fought back as best he could, but the mental wall was starting to break. The agony in his heart was growing. Rich had to be wrong...
“Look at the songs you’ve been writing! Look at your social media, for fuck’s sake! The answer is all around you!”
“No!” He fought back harder, his primal instinct taking over. He just wanted like to go back to normal.
“Rob, use your head! There’s a reason she doesn’t answer and the garage is empty!”
“Because I fucked up!”
Everything broke with those four words. He stopped struggling, sagging against the wall. The only reason he hadn’t sank to the floor was Rich’s bruising grip on his wrist. Tears flowed down Rob’s face, and he closed his eyes tightly as the pain crashed into him in waves.
“I looked away. For just a few seconds. Long enough to drift lanes. I should have been watching the road. I should have listened to her and stopped for the night. And now... now...”
Rich pulled him into a hug, fighting back his own tears. No one deserved this. No one should have to live with the guilt and pain that Rob carried every day. His world would never be the same. And even if he did go to a therapist, he’d still have a void in his life.
A void, and a voice mailbox.
You slept soundly in the passenger seat, and Rob couldn’t help but gaze at you. God, you were the most beautiful person he had ever seen. You were everything he wanted, and everything he never knew he needed. He could finally say his life was complete, as long as you were by his side.
His stare shifted to the ring on your finger. He had spent weeks searching for the perfect ring, and days rehearsing to himself how he was going to ask you. And it brought tears of joy to his eyes when he remembered that soon, you would be his wife.
He never saw the tractor trailer, or even heard the horn.
