Final Thoughts on RVB Restoration
(note that i did not bother with proper punctuation here and additional thoughts may be added later)
SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT:
wow. i have A LOT to say about this
first, lets start with the things i really liked about this finale:
red team fight scenes. simmons and grif fighting the meta was so good, especially simmons being SO BADASS. simmons stans were fed well. i always love seeing the reds and blues fighting, even if theyre not good, as opposed to freelancers fighting
caboose did a lot and i think had some solid development (as much as he could get in only an hour and 25 mins, at least) and it seems like they made him less dumb?? which is fine with me, it almost seemed like he matured. i also kinda liked seeing caboose being thrown around and beaten up cause it HURT ME SO MUCH but i love being hurt (i love caboose this isnt meant to be an insult to him). it was also just so surreal seeing caboose actually being hurt in an animation because he always managed to avoid major beatings like that before. him and tucker having a brief moment together was soul crushing and i wish we couldve had more of that
tucker being influenced by the meta has been a thing since the s13 finale and seeing it actually happen was really cool
tex being brought back was kind of a meh thing for me. i think everything tex related shouldve just been left in s10 because that season really wrapped it all up nicely. i did enjoy having her back, though, just for the sake of her as a character cuz i love her. and her and church together was so fucking cute and heartbreaking
sarge dying to save caboose was obviously fucking SADDENING but also sweet in a way cause i love caboose being the honorary red member. he loves his blue son
again, simmons being a badass was so fucking good
the grimmons scene with grif saying "come with me" was romantic as hell 😭😭😭
churchs gay little pose
chex scene with tex holding churchs hand was so gjfHDJSAFKGHSDJFSDFKAS GODDDDD THIS M/F SHIP HAS ME IN A CHOKEHOLD
now, the things i DIDNT like:
really unfortunate that the movie/season was only 1 hr 25 mins. it really limited what they could do with the plot and characters, but i understand if it wasnt possible for RT to do more due to warner bros for example
churchs whole youtube video thing was kinda funny but also dragged on for too long and was the perfect example of "show dont tell" NOT being implemented
a lot of stuff felt ooc, like how the reds didnt wanna help caboose at all. the beginning with epsilon showing up was understandable with how they didnt want to get involved, but later on the ship they just leave caboose to be choked out by the meta? THAT part didnt feel like the reds at all. grif also for some reason was so fucking mad and yelling a lot? idk where all that came from? it was so random like grif chill dude 😭
wash just being stuck in a mental hospital for something we dont even find out about until the end, which in a story sense isnt inherently bad obviously and can really add to the narrative, but in this case it just felt so confusing and like it didnt make sense. why would carolina and the reds and blues just let that happen to wash? not to say that getting help with mental health is bad or anything, just what i mean is they dont seem to care that hes gone or anything and dont visit him and hes treated like hes crazy the whole time hes in the hospital
479er being alive was really awesome, but it came out of nowhere (i understand that this is also probably due to the runtime restraint)
WHERE THE HELL WERE DONUT AND LOPEZ THE WHOLE TIME???? lopez showed up once and donut was in a 5 second thought bubble from simmons? the FINAL season of rvb and they dont even have the full crew of characters fighting together one last time? nobody talked about them at all? come on guys
the beginning with the convention was just really unnecessary and boring
why does nobody seem to care that TUCKER IS MISSING WITH MAINES ARMOR?? it feels like everyone just got brainwashed to forget about all the years they spent being friends
what was the deal with the covid jokes 💀
sarge wouldve never let himself die to a blue
doc just dies offscreen and its only vaguely mentioned at the very end and just happened out of nowhere, almost as an excuse for wash to not be present during everything with the meta?
where the hell has carolina been? she was never mentioned once until she showed up at the end
why why WHY did GRIF LEAVE??? i know season 15 was retconned, but the fact that he CARES ABOUT HIS FRIENDS and doesnt actually want to leave them unlike what he says shouldnt have just been forgotten about. AND SIMMONS JUST DOESNT WANNA GO TO EARTH TO VISIT? HELLO THIS IS NOT THE SAME GRIF AND SIMMONS WE'VE BEEN WITH ALL THESE YEARS. wheres that tweet saying "found family separating after the journey is bs" cause thats how i feel about that. 21 years spent building up these amazing relationships between these amazing characters just for them to seemingly not give a shit about each other?? is simmons just alone in blood gulch with tucker and caboose now?? 💀💀💀
i understand because he was the meta, tucker didnt have control, but it was still unfortunate to barely have any tucker this season
i understand that the meta was a threat to everybodys lives, but it feels like everyone was just ok with killing tucker to be able to kill the meta. it wouldve been so much better and angstier if they were having difficulties with it because thats their friend
why did one have to show up. i dont really have anything personal against her as a character or anything but i wouldve really preferred any and all things related to zero to just be wiped off the face of the planet
the music was just terrible. really unfortunate they wouldnt have trocadero return :( it felt so unnerving having this weird stock music playing whenever people were just standing and talking. throughout all of rvb, 99% of the standing talking scenes never had any music so this was so bizarre
some animated scenes looked really off, idk if it was just me
one personal gripe i have that doesnt actually really matter that much to the overall season, but it really bothered me, is that that IS NOT HOW THE BUBBLE SHIELD WORKS!!! i think technically we've never actually seen the bubble shield be entered or exited on screen so i guess you could argue that it works differently from how they work in halo? idk still bothered me
this season in general just felt like an AU?? even 15 through 17 felt more real as seasons of rvb than this did, and i HATED season 16, so thats saying something
and of course, grimmons. big congrats to RT for the longest queerbaited couple in i think tv show history. this one really pisses me off the most because just. how. theres a difference between a queer ship existing because people like it, and a queer ship existing because there was actual subtext and clues and their relationship is written so perfectly and its been around for so long that so many queer people came to really love and identify with it in spite of how shitty they were treated. idc, grimmons is canon in all of our hearts, fuck that
a great point from mod janae: the whole point of rvb, which aiden price even talks about, is that they come together as friends/family and even though they individually suck, together they can do anything, and a better ending wouldve been not to bring back tex carolina or even wash but to have gotten all the reds and blues back together to stop the meta. it was never about being the strongest but about working together
in general, i did not like the season. it had a few things i liked, but obviously the cons outweigh the pros here and so overall, i hated it. i mightve hated it even more than season 16 which is insane because ill fight tooth and nail for why season 16 is such a catastrophe. really disappointing that this is how rvb ends. i wouldve much preferred a cheesy "friendship defeats the bad guy and saves the day" ending because that IS what rvb is to a degree. anyways i understand how GOT fans feel now

With all the talk about Blake's bisexuality lately, I wanted to revisit the stream where this is "confirmed." I think it's really important not only that Blake's sexuality hasn't been confirmed in canon yet -- a fact which RWDE fans have explained ad nauseum and I won't rehash here -- but that our external "confirmation" is so tentative that it still leaves room for doubt. And that right there is the problem.
That video includes:
Arryn initially ignoring Blake's sexuality as a similarity between them because she "wasn't sure she was allowed to say that." If this were a 100% confirmed, established, 'We planned it from the beginning' bit of characterization, there wouldn't be any hesitation about what they're "allowed" to discuss in a stream. I'd understand the hesitation a little better if Blake/Yang were getting confirmed in the upcoming Volume and the crew was avoiding spoilers... but that wasn't the case.
"I think it's pretty obvious." You're either confirming a fact or you're not. Why the emphasis on what the audience should "obviously" be taking away? And as established, after the Golden Age of Queerbaiting there is no "obvious" reading when homophobic writers and executives can dodge a confirmation at any time.
"I confirm nor deny canonically, but in my headcanon? Oh, that's a whole other story!" This is LITERALLY dodging a confirmation. We are told outright that the crew cannot confirm that Blake is canonically bisexual, but they do support it in their own, RWBY imaginings. That's great! That's also, as explicitly stated, not canon.
The video link I could most easily find is attached to a RWBY Reddit thread titled "Arryn has basically confirmed once and for all that Blake is bisexual." There should be no "basically" in that sentence.
This is why so many fans are wary: because these kinds of "obvious" implications without an explicit confirmation is the definition of queerbaiting. That's what you do if you want your audience to stick around without actually producing a queer relationship. You put a blush here, a forehead touch there, a nudge-nudge-wink-wink from a VA, a comment about bisexual bobs, a ship-inspired song, a "Wait and see ;)" and, and, and ... and then you end the show with nothing ever coming of it. Or, it's a last moment addition so the writers never have to actually write the relationship. This is why Supernatural was (and in many ways still is) the most overt example of queerbaiting. It's not because fans saw the potential for a relationship between Cas and Dean, but the writers never capitalized on it; it's because the writers LOADED the story with "obvious" references and innuendos, spent YEARS having Misha, Jensen, and other cast members talk about the "obvious" love between them... and then just continued on their merry way for fourteen years, doing nothing with it, before throwing out a one-sided confession + death in the final hour. Fans were taught precisely how "obvious" a queer character can be without actually existing.
youtube
As a bisexual woman watching RWBY, I want confirmation of this relationship and, furthermore, I have more hope for one than I would have a decade ago. I'd be more willing to put my money on these "obvious" references amounting to something in 2023 than I would have back in 2005. But those of us who are old enough to have been active in fandom during that time know that just because many shows have gotten better about their queer rep doesn't mean that every show is going to follow in their footsteps. I do wonder how many fans who take a "basically" as undeniable confirmation are on the younger side, with "younger" meaning... under 25? Because I can't imagine anyone who was immersed in popular media back then coming in with such confident takes built on so very little, or having such faith in a company with RT's reputation. We've been blessed with the likes of She-Ra, Owl House, Steven Universe, The Last of Us, and a wealth of other stories that have fought for and/or introduced queer rep, and I wonder if those raised on that bounty literally can't picture a show that would tease a popular ship so extensively and not bring it to fruition. The unexpected downside of getting more canonical rep is that there's a generation of viewers who are ignorant -- or at least appear ignorant -- of the history that gave us shows like Supernatural, Sherlock, Teen Wolf, Buffy. And if you're older still, you're familiar with the age of television when a canonically queer character wasn't even a possibility, but that didn't stop writers from both building the show around fans' desire for representation. Sometimes that was done kindly with coding that, legitimately, was the most they could hope to air and showcased the writers' own desire to diversify television... and sometimes it was cruel.
I've said a hundred times that I hope Blake/Yang shippers aren't hurt in the way so many older fans have been, either due to deliberate queerbaiting, or RWBY getting cancelled before a relationship can truly develop. We all deserve to have such prominent confidence in writers treating their queer characters well. But we can't allow hope or personal certainty to blind us to reality, not when that's resulting in a completely unnecessary antagonism within the fandom. And the reality is that no, Blake hasn't been confirmed in the show and her "confirmation" outside of it does not meet many fans' standards -- for very understandable reasons. I can say categorically that I have never seen anyone erase Blake's bi identity because that identity doesn't truly exist yet. The ambiguity of her attraction to Yang is precisely why queerbaiting is a problem and why RWDE folks call so loudly for a 100% canonical relationship: it's too easy to shrug off such moments as a "sisterly" thing, to use the unfortunate words of Arrowfell. And if you scoff and go, "What? Sister don't act like that!" then you don't understand queerbaiting. You don't understand the history of shows writing THE most "obvious" coding you've ever laid your queer little eyes on and then going nowhere with it. That's the point. That's the point! The entire point is to make the relationship as "obvious" as possible so that fans will stick around, praise the show, celebrate rep early, push everyone else to watch it...
...and then fall apart when the relationship never happens.
I hope to god that's not RWBY's future, but after three years of just a single hint each (hand-holding, blush, Blake's fury over Yang's "death") and the lack of hints in the Volume 9 trailer, please don't go after fans who don't have unwavering confidence in the girls' queerness being canonical. Posts that acknowledge Blake's attraction to men, ambiguous attraction to Yang, or point out the comparative wealth of straight confirmation compared to the queer coding aren't attacking queer fans. Those posts are written by queer fans who know precisely how quickly the "obvious" ship can get tossed aside. Or worse, the queer character never really confirmed as queer in the end.
RWBY can ditch Blake/Yang. They can shrug and say that a bi Blake was just Arryn's headcanon -- weren't you listening when we said it wasn't canon? They can make sweet apologies and explain that they never intended the animators to make that so romance coded. You know, just like they never meant for Clover to wink at Qrow. Real talk: I personally can't imagine having this much faith in the show after that fiasco. We got the EXACT same kind of coding (wink + bashful look + "obvious" romance tropes like their opposite semblances) and the ending was Clover dying a bloody death, Qrow hating him, and the writers backpedaling from the idea of an attraction like nobody's business. That set off SIREN alarms in every RWBY fan I know who understands queerbaiting history, but so many others appear ignorant to the warning signs. I'm not saying examples like this means we won't get queer rep in the title team, I'm saying it explains others' hesitation. RT has made no promises, is not beholden to their fanbase, and does not have a good history with its queer rep or its queer employees. If you're a queer fan who has confidence in bi Blake in the face of all that, fantastic, more power to you, but those who are wary aren't your enemy. They're also queer fans, just those who have been burned enough in the past and have learned not to put their whole heart into what they might not get. What we're likely to get? Probably, but you know what they say about counting chickens...
I just wish fandom was better about learning from these past experiences -- listening to older fans and acknowledging that history with an open mind -- rather than learning through another awful, first-hand experience. Though I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that this never happens, I wonder how many RWBY fans might be fruitlessly warning others someday if their queer rep crashes and burns.

Rogue Trader - Act 2 Black Ship - Heinrix romance - spoiler
This is the (unfortunately not voiced) dialog with Heinrix if he is alone with RT on the black ship (Pillars of Viridice system).
Please note that it only seems to be working in act 2 not later.
If you have other team members with you, they will interrupt Heinrix.
There is a fight later however, so I would recommend to leave after the scene and to get the full team.
The dialog option "You do not always have to appear invincible..." is also counting towards Heinrix corruption points (if you want to get him to leave the inquisition later).

So I'm interested in Nimona, but the first thing I hear about it is the phrase "Religious Trauma." I struggle to phrase this in a way that doesn't make me sound like a fundie pearl clutching douche, but as a pretty liberal Christian, whenever I hear the phrase "religious trauma" as a theme in media, my mind basically imagines the Religious equivalent of this bit: youtu,be/d49t6ahY0ac
Since I generally trust your opinions, Nimona's writing team has the sense to be more nuanced than that, right?
So, let me divide this into a spoiler-free portion and a portion that contextualizes the core of this ask by looking at part of the movie/GN for the sake of conversation.
So, right off the bat, it has to be understood that a lot of the themes, characters, lore, etc. are all steeped in symbolism. Hence why you have so many people saying 'oh, tackling religious trauma' or 'oh, this movie is fundamentally queer'.
Of course, with the latter it's more blatant --
Our main male lead is a gay man, after all, not to mention the conspicuous trans flag in certain scenes, and how Nimona herself is pretty blatantly GNC/Genderfluid
-- The prior isn't a direct mention of 'fundamentalist Christians going after the Coloreds and the Gays' but rather the dangers of a society that bases itself off of one, singular perspective on a piece of lore/myth and holds fast to it. Even if it's to the detriment of the disenfranchised you're supposed to protect. The film also looks at the form of religious trauma that is RTS (Religious Trauma Syndrome): i.e.: the struggles that individuals have when they decide to try and leave the religion or cult that indoctrinated in the first place.
Now, to contextualize this with elements of the actual film (Spoilers Under the Read more)
In Nimona (the film), we have a kingdom that is completely centered around the legend of the figure Gloreth who valiantly slayed a monster long, long ago; vowing that her, her descendants, and her descendants' descendants would forever keep their people safe from monsters and the outside world they dwell in.
This devotion goes to the point that only direct descendants to Gloreth (nobles and the like) can become knights, until a thousand years pass and our main male lead, an orphan commoner, is chosen by the queen to become a knight.
But, of course, even with a high-ranking noble supporting a shift in the status-quo, you have people aghast at the mere notion of challenging the Will of God -- I mean -- the Will of Gloreth.
And put all of this on top of high-ranking religious figures -- I mean -- members of nobility doing everything they can to maintain their favored dogma, as well as the fact that the legend this kingdom is centered around may have been misrepresented in order to keep the poor commoners in their place within the kingdom, and repeated showings of how 'religious indoctrination! Start 'em when they're young and can't even properly understand'... It's pretty clear why people have been keying in on that when watching the movie.

Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to puzzlesontherim, a blog all about my current game of Rimworld featuring characters from Professor Layton as pawns. This blog will chronicle the day-to-day life of the residents of the colony of Little London as they build towards creating a warm, welcoming, and hospitable settlement out on the Rim.
Very important thing to start! I have not played or beaten the entire Layton series, so there’s a lot of information I’m missing and a lot of spoilers I’m not privy to. Please assume that I only know of events from Curious Village, Lost/Unwound Future, Last Specter/Spectre’s Call, and Eternal Diva, and refrain from discussing spoilers for the rest of the series or making suggestions based on said spoilers. (This list will update as I continue to work through the series. Currently, I am playing Diabolical Box.) Pawn builds and relationships are subject to change as I learn more.
And speaking of pawn relationships, I will be taking a fairly hands-off approach to romance within the colony. Canon relationships will be edited in as new characters are added, but beyond that, what romantic relationships form will be dictated by R.N.Jesus. Don’t lambast me if the Rimworld Gods decide to canonize a ship you don’t like.
Current residents of Little London:
Professor Hershel Layton (as of 1 Aprimay 5500)
Luke Triton (as of 1 Aprimay 5500)
Flora Reinhold (as of 1 Aprimay 5500)
Clive Dove (as of 1 Aprimay 5500)
Daisy Debelle* (prisoner as of 6 Aprimay 5500, recruited 10 Aprimay 5500)
*Daisy Debelle is not a Layton character, she is loosely based on my Layton OC/sona.
Additional members of the Layton cast will be added to the colony over time, through a combination of the Character Editor and Reunion mods.
Characters currently slated to join (on Reunion mod Ally list):
Claire Foley
Dimitri Allen**
Don Paolo
Emmy Altava
** - Available now through a quest
Due to a combination of my general inexperience with the game, not wanting to see the Layton gang get torn to bloody shreds before my eyes, and really wanting to play around with the Hospitality mod and its add-ons, this is going to be a fairly low-difficulty playthrough. Currently, the difficulty is Randy Random on Community Builder. Also, I don’t have any DLCs, although I do have a metric shitton of mods.
Brief tag guide followed by modlist in load order below the cut. (The modlist is long lmao and also subject to change.) Tag list updated 10 November 2023. Modlist updated 10 November 2023.

You know that part where I said I was going to wait until at least after Snowells Week to start Halo: Reach? Guess who didn’t do that?
Tumblr media
However! Guess who finished the game in 2 1/2 days???
Tumblr media
I had an idea of how things worked thanks to my bazillion hours on Halo: CE, so that definitely helped. I didn’t stop to take screencaps or do any sort of commentary along the way because, of COURSE, I was supposed to be writing, not playing Halo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, just some quick thoughts!
I fortunately knew the major spoilers from the game, which I won’t spoil here just in case but, honestly, if I hadn’t known them ahead of time, it would’ve been a rather devastating experience, so I’m really glad I knew what to watch for.
Having learned about Noble Six from other Halo posts, videos, etc. and from @multi-muse-transect‘s ideas on how Six could’ve been incorporated into Halo season 1 or 2 (links in this post), I assumed the character was male. I didn’t realize that the game actually allows you to customize Six with a male or female voice and heavy or lighter armor (formerly male or female armor).
Well, I left the heavy armor but changed to a female voice and that made for such an interesting game experience. I loved how the other characters altered pronouns accordingly (like if somebody said something like “Six can do it, go ask him” (not a real line but I can’t think of an actual one, oops) then it now changes to “Six can do it, go ask her.” I also liked that it gave Noble Team two female members, just because. 🤷‍♀️😉
Anyway, I only had to look up help for a couple of sections, surprisingly. The most foolish being the AA gun at the end. I kept reading the instruction on the screen as “hold RB” to fire gun and RB causes you to jump out of the seat, where I’d then get blasted to death by Banshees, oops. I finally found an article that said “hold RT” which is a huge difference and is your “trigger” anyway so should’ve been obvious, d’oh.
Tumblr media
I also discovered that my desperate tactic of just jumping in and melee’ing the heck out of powerful enemies wasn’t really the right one but I never knew which gun was best to use against specific enemies so I’m in there just beating the Elite Zealot with my two fists and hoping for the best! 👀 And it worked, too, lol! Got him first try, yay!
My Six is a gal who talks with her fists more than her words, what can I say? 😛😉
Tumblr media
Okay, now I REALLY need to get back to writing. Wish me luck and good luck and big hugs 🤗 to any of you out there doing this Camp NaNo, too! 😎👍
PS - I already have the action figure for Six, Jun and Kat, with Emile on the way. Just need Jorge and Carter (both recently released) and I’ll have all of Noble Team, my beloveds! 🤗🤗🤗

⭐star⭐ for any Absolution section you'd like to tell us more about!
another hard one, though not as difficult as the ballad since it's farther in... but god what can i say?
oh i know what i can talk about that has NOTHING to do with anything truly pertinent to the plot of absolution! (hoping i haven't talked about this before but i don't think i have? well either way under the cut cause this got longer than i planned lol)
so in the second chapter, the scene from the last day of the festival where one of Shikamaru's clan members arrives in the chaitya and committing a major taboo by wearing his hitai-ate/bringing weapons inside, was actually related to Ruri's birth and the more mystical impacts of it on the Nara clan and the pact with the shadows i introduced in TAoL
i think for anyone who consistently reads my writing, it's well established that my worldbuilding is universal to all my canon-set fics, but like with everything else you don't actually need to have read TAoL or 13S to understand what's going on. this is all just my own worldbuilding and i keep it the same (for the most post) because it makes it easier to actually build a consistent vision.
i still have a lot of work to do re: the Shadow Kami and the pact the Nara clan made with them ages ago, but i have a solid enough idea and have done enough with it that it does make appearances in other fics--so far it's been featured in Absolution without actually being featured, and again in RtS (that scene in Ch9 when Lee was doing his laps)
with absolution, it's appearance (or implication is maybe more accurate) is like i said related to Ruri's birth. not long after she was born, one of the greater shadow kami--the one the Nara had made their pact with--appeared in the forest. it took a while for anyone to realize that's what it was--especially because people don't go that far into the forest (the same area Lee was on the shores of during RtS) because that's where the Nara clan's oldest, most forbidden shrine resides--a place only the head of the clan could possibly risk entering, but it's been so long since the Nara were connected to that primordial practice that even the head of the clan hasn't actually been back there since the warring states period--and with Shikamaru, the current head of the clan, being out of the country... well this god appears and there's no clan head to deal with it
so once they realize what's going on in the forest, Yoshino, Shikamaru's mother, who acts as the head of the clan when he's in Suna, sends someone to Suna to bring Shikamaru home for this at once.
once Toku--the clan member who'd been sent to retrieve Shikamaru--gets there, he explains to Shikamaru and Temari (being married into the clan she's allowed to know what's going on), Shikamaru realizes he has to get to Konoha to deal with this but doesn't realize what's going on until he actually gets there and goes into the forest.
in all my worldbuilding, i've heavily implied that Suna/Wind have a very strong connection to the gods in the desert, and there's some things with Gaara's family (spoilers for other things) that make Ruri connected to various greater powers so to speak. her birth is a sign of change for the shadow kami the Nara clan made their pact with. she's a child of shadow and more, and creates a bridge between worlds.
as a Nara she's bound to the shadows, but it's more complicated because of her mother. but it's good. and Shikamaru has to like go into the forest and commune with this greater kami to learn that her birth has essentially stirred the gods and that this particular kami has expectations and wishes to meet ruri once she's older, and basically shikamaru has to like prepare her for that (and tell Temari all this, which also means he's telling her shit about her own family she didn't even know)
but again, this is all very background and unimportant stuff for Absolution's present because none of that will happen for a good while

Please do ramble about Block Island, would love to hear it! 🍿
TY DEAR ANON
Spoilers for Survive Block Island
anyway, it's so fun, you can guess by the title it's a survivor type minecraft show. It's hosted by the one and only Trevor Collins
The first episode is great and free to watch on youtube and on the RT site. the chopping block that episode was so stupid it's so good. however, the rest is a first member exclusive tho.
I like how you can't be just good at minecraft to win, there's the social aspect of it as well.
Matt was arguably the best minecraft player on the show and he got voted out because of that, Matt's weakness was the fact that he didn't try make any alliances or stuff like that
Barbara and Alfredo are killing it on block island, they're so fucking big brained and have gotten like 3-4 people voted out. With strategic totem of undying plays and Barbara being a double agent in a sense. It's!! So!! Good!!! it's so fun to watch Barbara just bamboozle everyone. With Barbara's big brain and Alfredo's minecraft skills, they are genuinely a scary duo.
In the beginning ofc there was two teams, the red team and blue team. As people got voted out, they mixed things up a bit, split them up, and then randomly put people into new teams, the green team and the yellow team. the red team stayed loyal to each other and now look at them. every original member of the blue got voted out, there's only red team members left.
rip Gus tho, he really should have kept and used that totem. rip BK as well cause when she got voted out, she had a totem but didn't use it cause she thought she was safe.
Oh god I gotta talk about Patrick's elimination as well. It's almost poetic.
Patrick betrayed BK and voted for her when the two of them had a plan. BK didn't get voted out but she did feel betrayed and then Patrick was marked as a traitor.
Then the team mixing happened. he ended up on a team with Barbara, Matt, and Alfredo.
It's worth noting that Barb, Matt, and Alfredo are all former members of the red team and Patrick was the only former blue team member.
Barbara went to Patrick and was like "lets vote out Matt and i'll convince Alfredo to vote him out as well." Patrick, not wanting to make the same mistake twice, agreed, he trusted Barbara.
Big mistake.
Barbara and Matt already had a plan to vote out Patrick and they got Alfredo on it. Red team sticks together.
Patrick was safe because he didn't trust his original team, blue team, but that only got him some enemies. This time with his new team, the green team, he decided to trust them, only to get voted out.
Mwah, great to watch.
The challenges are great and really fun to watch, Trevor is the best at commentating, god he was a menace during the memory challenge, it was so funny.
Also when a person gets voted out, they straight up die via lightning, the reactions were great.
This is just a really fun show, I will give the award to funniest to Charlotte. She just knows what to say and if she doesn't win i'm burning everything to the ground.
ALSO ALSO, I'm sorry the latest episode really brought in the thoughts about omens of death. For the past three episodes, every time she had an adventure with someone after the challenge was over, they got eliminated the same night. I didn't even notice that until Charlotte herself pointed it out and started calling herself the kiss of death.
like how can I not run with that, seriously jdhflkjs
anyway I'm done for now, it's still an on going series so I will continue to yell at a later date
