I’m honestly not mad if Ruby doesn’t come back. They were too good together they shined to bright and you know what it makes fucking sense. What kid WOULDNT say no to time and space for fucking family? A sense of belonging? Answers to the questions she’s always had, not the philosophical ones the adventure with the doctor make you wonder. They had an amazing chemistry Id rather her go out now then end up with regrets because she stayed with our boy.

Looking at the gorgeous view on the spaceship that the Doctor and Ruby had landed on -- after Ruby officially became his companion -- he wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her closer towards him for a side hug. He noticed the amazed expression on her face, and all he did was smile at her. "You see, Rubes, this is what I'm talkin' about!" He said excitingly, a bright smile was etched upon his face.

He heard Ruby get excited before pulling away from her to try and access the control panel. And as he heard Ruby how he keeps going, he Doctor sighed before going on to say, "For days like this, Ruby Sunday." He went back over to her and began staring at the view again, continuing to explain who he really was. Not in full detail, but enough to get Ruby thinking as to what he was. "I don't have a people. I don't have a home. But I don't have a job either."

He then turned to face Ruby, putting her hands in his. "I don’t have a boss or taxes or rent or bills to pay. I don't have a purpose or a cause or a mission, but I have... FREEDOM. That's why I keep moving on, to see the next thing, and the next and the next." He continued to smile at her, wondering if the gears in Ruby's head was turning as she had somewhat of a neutral look on her face. He then let her face the view once more, going behind her and putting his hands on her shoulders.

"Sometimes... it looks even better through your eyes." He finally said in a quiet tone, barely whispering it to Ruby. "C'mon. Let's explore this place a bit more, shall we?"

Before walking back to the TARDIS, the Doctor put the ring that Rogue gave him on his left hand, right on his pinkie finger. He stared at it for a few moments before looking up at the sky. He smiled softly and then saluted at the sky.

He just sent Rogue's ship to orbit the Moon and he was still feeling slightly emotional after what the alien bounty hunter had done. Saved Ruby's life for his own, sending himself into an unknown dimension. Somewhere in the world.

But he tried not to show any more emotion that he had already done, so he tried to move on. He made his way into the TARDIS, letting Ruby in first before walking in himself, closing the doors behind him. He went over to the console, firing up the TARDIS for lift-off.

01. this is an independent and mutually exclusive rp blog for ruby sunday from bbc's doctor who . i take no credit for the creation of ruby's character however i do take credit for my writing and any headcanons you see on here .

02. my blog is mutually exclusive therefore i will only be interacting with those i'm in mutual following with ic and ooc . i won't follow back blogs that don't cut their posts and basic formatting .

i will also not be following back blogs that use problematic face claims or characters which have been whitewashed .

03. i use small text and double spaces between words, if you need my formatting to change so you can read it in our threads please let me know . i may go between using icons and being iconless from time to time and depending on what my partner uses . i do use the beta editor and xkit rewritten .

04. i'm either incredibly slow or incredibly fast and very sporadic . i work in retail and my hours vary from week to week but i'll try to be on when i can . the best way to contact me is through ims however discord is always open to mutuals and is my prefered method of contact .

05. i very rarely post starter calls . they tend to send my anxiety through the roof . the best way to start an interaction with me is by sending in memes or jumping into my ims to plot .

06. i'm a bit of a ship whore . i love exploring all types of dynamics from enemy's to lovers and anything in-between . however i am a major advocate for chemistry .

i do like to form some form of ooc friendships with my ship partners as i love sending things that i see that reminds me of our muses .

07. i do like to have main and exclusive writing partners as it makes me feel comfortable and that i can bother y'all with ideas . i'm currently not taking full exclusives for doctor who as the fandom is super small .
