Rearranged my office yesterday. Shifted things around, burned some herbs (rosemary for new beginnings) and added a few items for inspiration including this Ruby Red lipstick. The title of my first book, Ruby Red is the colour of lipstick my main character Ali relies on as part of her armour to protect her broken heart. Two years ago I started my Ruby Red Romance. Do you have a favourite opening line? This one is from my romance short story collaboration with Gala Russ. In fact Gala wrote the line and it perfectly introduces her character Nick Stavros. I was reflecting on all the books I’ve read this year and I thought what about all the books I’ve written. I have to admit I’m a bit stunned after my review. I wrote a lot this year.
