I wanna mention smth else about Hermie bc I’ve been thinking about him recently.

His name “Hermie” has also been very goofy to me. It doesn’t sound like a name, it sounds like a nickname. This is bc he’s somewhat based on the god Hermes (that’s why he has fins on his ankles)

But like, I didn’t want to straight up call him Hermes and the name Hermie kinda stuck accidentally. Also the elf from Rudolph is named Hermey fun fact.

Ig it’s very possible that “Hermie” actually is a nickname and he just chooses to go by that instead of his real name bc he doesn’t like it that much. I know a lot of people who do that (me included somewhat), and I also have another character who does that.
