altho it's been a few years I remember when Herbie was a smol puppo and he would make it his MISSION to escape my mom's watchful eye and venture across our house and up the stairs to find me, and promptly try to get on my bed to bother me. this was based on that lol

I've given up on keeping a style the same! XDD Here are my versions of the night lights! Pouncer is the future alpha, Dart is an explorer of the Hidden World and the Human World, and Ruffrunner is the strongest!!

Ruffrunner is truly my favorite of the furies. Astrid in the SOD said that he would grow to be the largest of the night lights. I like to think about it and imagine just a huge fury, bigger than Toothless. He looks dangerous. And yet he remains one of the most powerful dragons, therefore, even being with a gentle, peaceful character, he can devour someone if necessary XD

A hobbit, Thirteen dwarves, and a wizard on a quest to reclaim a kingdom from a dragon. It's a familiar story, one that's been told before. But this time, in an astounding twist of irony, fate, and possibly a little intervention from the Valar, the Company is saddled with a most unexpected and stubborn ally: a DRAGON.

Basically, daydreaming about Thorin and Bilbo, I asked my autism, "What could send the story in such a drastically different direction that everyone gets a happy ending?" And for some reason the answer I got was: "Give them a Night Fury!" (End result gave them a Night Light instead but with even more satisfying results. Or at least they will be once my master plan comes to fruition.)

This story is going to be chock full of mystery, badassery, angst, twists, turns, humor, and FEELS, and I can't wait to share it with you all!
