Cassie really likes to imitate Roxy in a lot of ways, huh-
Also you can’t tell me that M.X.E.S. wasn’t the one driving this kart come on.

Me and my siblings just realized something about the Candy Cadet story in SB Ruin.
So the story is about a mom trapping a monster and singing to her son to comfort him from the monster. But then the monster learned the lullaby to trick the boy into letting him out.
Obviously the monster is meant to be the mimic, and the boy is Cassie; the mimic tricking the boy/Cassie to release them with the lullaby/Gregory's voice. But there's a third character that's significant here. The mother. This is who we think she parallels.
1, Gregory. Initial thought since the mimic faked his voice like it did her lullaby. But this also means Gregory took part in locking it up in the first place. Unlikely.
2, Cassie's dad. If Cassie is the boy, her dad (who is supposedly the protagonist in Help Wanted 2) could very well be the mother. Especially with the very open ending Candy Cadet's story has. Possible.
3, MXES. The mother's role is to lock away the monster, the same job MXES has. The mother singing her lullaby to keep the boy safe from the monster could be similar to how MXES tries to block Cassie from releasing it (although more deadly). And Helpi being used by the mimic to trick Cassie further down despite being another security protocall could be the lullaby. Plus there's no explanation as to why the mother would trap the monster IN HER HOUSE of all places. Idk I just like this one. Pretty likely.
