Running Dialogue 9

Had to take a few days off to travel for a wedding. Was hoping to get in a run on the trip but our time was scheduled down to the minute with wedding stuff.

Really glad I got back to it this morning😁

Had coffee and an English muffin for breakfast, didn't smoke beforehand, listened to a podcast instead of music. Found that my pace felt steadier today.

Saturday morning run of 28.88km. Happy to break my previous record of 27km set on 1.12.18. Initially target was to run 25km this morning. Midway in the run, the idea of crossing the 28km arises and with my leg still strong, I feel there is a possibility of doing so. Running Dialogue 8

All I have to say today is that humidity was genuinely at 100% during this run and I hated every step. I promised myself I could turn around at 1 mile but managed to do all 4. God it was awful.

I think I need to start eating specifically to fuel my runs. I feel weak for the entire duration. I know I'll need to up my protein. I should really start looking up running nutrition online.

Anyway, another 4 in the books today (Wednesday 13)

I am in the pre run window where I think about how I don't want to go and feel very depressed and want to crawl back under the covers. I've had an apple, some water, coffee, and some Summitt sips. Constant Reader, will our plucky protagonist manage to get herself out the front door today? Stay tuned to find out!

Well, I did it! Pace was atrocious compared to 11:40 last time, but log another 4 miles in the books. I hate the hills so much BUT I gotta remind myself I'm training for the notoriously hilly St Patricks Day race
