Also, it seeeems like the wiki is back to normal???? Whatever admins that were trying to turn the fanwiki into amino(which my sister said and OH WOW SHE'S SO RIGHT), seem to have left or taken a chill pill! They're currently still working to bring everything back to normal tho.

I literally don't have the energy to try and help add everything from the previous seasons, BUT, since only one ep is out, I may try to help out with any entries about season 3. Tho, it seems that some Freddy fan already did a page for Tony Collette so LETS GOOO. I have to do other stuff so if anyone's interested yall can do the other character(or I'll do them when I have time). But yah, I realized there wasn't a page for the new season, so at least other people can start editing it and what not. Also did a little bit, like add guests under S1 and other small edits.

I barely know what a meta is. BUT.

While the characters don’t change at all with his presence, I feel like him being there shows an implication that Allan acts different outside of work than he does at work- and confirms it in the S3 date night B-plot.

I also think people would compare and contrast Allan and Whatwulf’s relationship to Charlie and Pim’s as character analysis for Charlie and Pim.

Which would also get validated in S3 with an ep where Whatwulf and Charlie break into the abandoned Salty’s restaurant to try to make an urban exploration video. The episode starts with both of them lamenting about relationship issue they’re having, unspecified for now, They don’t summon him, but turns out the fucked up and evil mascots STILL live there and are out to kill the two of them in a vague Saw parody, leading to scenes that somehow force them to confront the problems they’re both having since they both don’t wanna face them. Whatwulf’s worries are that he doesn’t do enough in the relationship, that his boyfriend could do better, and worries about every small argument they have- which don’t even happen often anymore. So for him its very much a ‘proving himself’ thing to himself and rethinking about how his worries are literally just his poor self esteem manifesting, and not anything that his boyfriend actually thinks abt him.

For Charlie, he tries to avoid being vulnerable and emotional with Pim, which Pim genuinely gets upset by. Charlie keeps thinking about the argument him and Pim had that they haven’t talked since after, with Pim going “I mean, I just don’t see why we are even dating if you’re not going to act like we are.” which he knows is absolutely true but is in denial about it. Somehow, summoning Salty with a ouija board solves this for him. Also the near death experiences they both had with the mascots.

I think the fact that Whatwulf is friends with both Charlie and Pim, AND Gnarly and Grim, who still absolutely fucking hate each other, ends up being significant in Whatwulf and Allan’s wedding episode. They’re Whatwulf’s only two friends that he doesn’t also share with Allan, so all Allan knew was that Whatwulf was inviting his two old college roomies that he recently started hanging out with again. Despite the setting being Allan and Whatwulf’s wedding, the main focus ends up being on Charlie and Pim.

Those are just a few examples of how Whatwulf isn’t really changing anything in the show or how anyone acts, but he gives new opportunities for new storys that otherwise wouldnt have been able to happen.

I've only seen season 1 of sao. Do you need to watch the others? Gun Gale wasn't for me. Is it worth watching the others?

To get a general understanding of what’s going on and any new characters introduced, yeah I’d probably watch the others? It’s not necessary that you HAVE to tho.

I totally get GGO not hitting, it’s definitely a different vibe from the first season :’) I highly recommend the second half of season 2 tho, bc we go back to ALO and get a mini arc that’s one of my personal favorites (Calibur my beloved), and then the latter half we get introduced to Yuuki and Asuna gets some time to shine ^^

And then season 3 is after that and that’s Alicization which is the best arc imo!! So yes it’s definitely worth it!
