➵ ➵ ➵ ➵ ➵ ➵       ➵ ➵ ➵ ➵ ➵ ➵
➵ a for aftercare (what is he like after sex?)
you come first, always. the moment saiki finally empties his balls inside you after pulling yet another orgasm from you, his thrusts shallow as he tries to make sure every drop ends up inside your cunt and post-nut clarity hits him. not in a bad way, in the way he immediately thinks about your comfort. his mind cleared of lust when his balls are empty, you'll be leaking hours later and he knows his work is done. with that, he picks you up softly, knowing from reading your thoughts that you can't walk, legs shaking as your spent form lays on the bed. he does quick work of cleaning you every time, before he brings you back to his bed, gently placing you down before he slips in next to you underneath the covers, waiting until your arms and leg find his, draping yourself over him like a blanket before you try and pick his mind about how the sex was, a routine for you since he never says it himself. he finds a way to deflect the question, most of the time. "how do you have the energy to talk but not go to the bathroom?" "uh— no, you're not gonna change the subject this time. now, what did I do to make you horny?" "good grief woman, let me sleep." "kusuo!" "fine… you backed up on me when I was cuddling you. it was a natural bodily reaction." you don't listen though, too busy assuming (rightfully so) that he was an ass guy, taking your notes. not true, he definitely preferred your tits over your back.
➵ b for body part (his favourite body part of his and also his partner’s)
he likes his hair, more specifically he fucking loves likes when your arm reaches underneath his shoulder as he fucks into you from above, fingers gingerly trailing up his back before they find their way to the back of his neck and into his hair, pulling lightly at the locks as he slams his pelvis into yours. his expression won't change, but if you ever took the chance to put your hands on his chest for leverage, you'd know just from his heartbeat the kind of effect you have on him. now whether you pick up on it or not, he loves prefers your tits, it's the first part of your body his hands grab whenever he has the chance. he will never tell you, but he loves using them as handles for when he's fucking you, hand on your tits as he pulls your body to meet his thrusts, keeping you there for a second longer as he bottoms out, dick impossibly deep in your cunt, tip bullying rather than kissing your cervix. when your eyes roll to the back of your head, and he reads your thoughts, of how you can barely breathe, how you can feel him in your gut, he curses himself for nearly cumming. "your heart rate spiked, thinking about me using you again?" "…people will hear you if you don't stop whining, pull my hair if you can't take it— like you usually do."
➵ c for cum (anything to do with cum, basically)
when saiki is done, pulling out after he's sure he's emptied every last drop of his cum inside your pussy, he spends a moment watching your chest rise and fall, covered in slick and sweat and his eyes will trail down to where his cum starts leaking out of you, only to use his fingers to shove it right back in, not blinking an eye as you twitch and complain about sensitivity, too busy making sure you don't waste all of what he has to give. he won't admit it, but just the way you squirm, pawing at his hand as he fingers you slowly is enough for him to go another round. "…how tired are you?" "like on a scale? 9.5 buddy, and this pussy is off limits until that number goes below 5." the latter sentiment falling on deaf ears as saiki continues to finger you. "…can you go one more round?" "seriously— but we just—" you end up with another creampie, surprise, surprise.
➵ d for dirty secret (self-explanatory, a dirty secret of his)
it's not that he doesn't have a dirty secret, it's more the fact he has too many, but his biggest one is probably the fact that he tries to see how many times he can make you cum before he does. he enjoys watching you come undone, from his fingers to his tongue, to his dick. saiki's a lowkey sadist, and so he adores likes pushing you past your limits, especially since you look so damn good fucked out, pupils blown and the dirtiest thoughts and images running through your head, urging him to pick up the pace as he forces you to take him all over again. is it any surprise that he'll mentally set a number and he won't stop fucking your bruised pussy until he reaches it? no, no it isn't. "don't lie, I know you can cum again, y/n, and I'm going to keep going— until you do."
➵ e for experience (how experienced is he? does he know what he’s doing?)
he has no experience, your body being the first he was ever comfortable to touch, that being said, it doesn't mean he's clueless. his telepathy comes in clutch, and your thoughts and desires, the ones you try so hard to control until he has you alone and you come undone under his gaze. they guide his hands as saiki squeezes your nipple between his thumb and index, watching as you writhe under his touch, overstimulated from how he's spent the better half of an hour teasing myou, making sure you're so far gone, that you practically sob when he finally pulls out his cock from the confines of his draws, he'll drag his length up and down your slit, tip catching on the hood of your clit, and when you slap a hand across your mouth to stop yourself from moaning too loud, he takes the chance to shove himself inside you in one go, and if you opened your eyes instead of squeezing them shut as you try and get used to the intrusion, you'd see the smirk twitching at the corner of his lips. "tell me how you want it, y/n. use your words."
➵ f for favourite position (this goes without saying. will probably include a visual)
this is a hard one for him, but if he really had to choose it would be fucking you standing up. the first time he tried it was in a storage closet at school. your idea of fun had been to sit behind him in class all day, thinking of the most indecent things he could do to you if he just made a move. he knew you were trying to get him to crack and make the first move like he did the first time he fucked you in that very same classroom. sure he had popped a boner, but he wasn't about to let you phase him more than that, saiki had self-control after all. he didn't. when lunch rolled around, you found yourself in the boys changing room, his fingers wasting no time to pull your panties to the side and shove his middle finger until it was buried to the knuckle inside your already wet cunt. and when he heard the thoughts of a group of people heading for the same room you were both in, his hazy brain supplied the closet as a hiding place, which was located in the far corner of the room and had been cleared out, pulling you in after him. said students entered, gossiping about what not as they looked for their misplaced belongings, but saiki wasn't paying attention, he was preoccupied with the way you were trapped against the back of the closet and his chest, looking up at him with pleading eyes, and damn, that self-control of his was hanging on by a mere thread. one that snapped when your hand found his, leading them to your cunt yet again. he didn't waste any time after that, pulling up your leg with one hand, using his pants zipper as an opening to get his dick out and line up with you, pushing in ever so slowly so you don't make too much noise and alert the others in the room. for a moment saiki wasn't sure what came over him, to risk exposure like this wasn't something he'd allow normally, and yet when he felt how deep he'd managed to get inside you from that angle, hitting a spot you let him know telepathically that he's never hit before, and the way your pussy quivered around the base of his length, gave him the answer, his tone barely above a whisper as he lowered his head to your ear. "you got what you wanted— happy?"
➵ g for goofy (is he more serious in the moment, or is he humorous, etc)
he's serious in the moment, maybe too much sometimes, to the point where every so often you'll wonder if he actually feels anything since his expression doesn't change much, even when he's fucking you into the mattress, one hand on your hip pushing you against his length, the other rubbing your clit so you can cum on his dick again. then, when the thought does cross your mind, even if you don't bring it up, he'll go out of his way to show you just how much you affect him. eyebrows furrowed, sweat coating his body as he fucks into you, lips parted ever so slightly, and if you listen closely and hold back your moaning, you'll hear the way he groans against your skin as he tries to hold back from filling you up with his cum right then and there. then again, he's not always serious, since he likes to talk to fill the silence, more like he enjoys the way you clench around him since you love the sound of his voice. "just like that. come on, y/n, cum for me."
➵ h for hair (how well groomed is he, does the carpet match the drapes)
he doesn't shave regularly, then again, he doesn't need to. you did ask him about it once since you swore you'd never seen him trim down there, and the monologue he went into breaking the fourth wall again as he explained how he used telekinesis to make sure he didn't develop a bush and halted the growth when it reached a certain length, truth be told you zoned out. you prefer him unshaven anyway, the happy trail of pink that goes past his sweatpants and makes your mind run wild when you catch sight of it every time his shirt lifts to show skin, the pink in general is such a pretty colour you can't imagine not seeing it every time he whips his dick out. of course, saiki knows this all too well with how he invades your mind with his telepathy, and it's the main reason he's opted to keep it.
➵ i for intimacy (how is he during the moment, romantic aspect…)
saiki isn't romantic with his words. ever heard of the saying, you don't have to say 'I love you', to say I love you? this man is the definition of show, don't tell, and even if the esper doesn't proclaim his love for you out loud from rooftops or skyscrapers, you see it clearly in the way he holds onto whatever part of you he can, pulling you impossibly close as he slowly grinds into you from on top, doing his best to drag out your pleasure, watching and listening for any signs of discomfort, and when he finds that one spot that has you seeing stars, he won't stop until your eyes roll to the back of your head and he's trailing kisses down your neck as you push against his hips with your palm to try and slow him down— and when you do, he'll grab your hand softly, intertwining your fingers and throwing it over your head before he's kissing you again and swallowing whatever sounds threaten to escape from your lips at his brutal pace. "shhh, I've got you. cum for me, y/n, just one more time. come on."
➵ j for jacking off (masturbation headcanon)
saiki doesn't really feel the need to masturbate, he's tried it before and realised that it only adds to his (horniness) frustrations. the only thing that really helps clear his mind is you, but that doesn't mean he doesn't jerk himself off. once in a blue moon when he's waiting for you to get back home and he can't wait, he'll sit in the dining room since the spot has the best angle of the front door, and he'll pull out his dick, stroking it slowly, tugging as he hisses under his breath. he'll let the burning in his stomach grow until it's all he can think about, barely noticing when you walk through the door only to trap you against the nearest wall, hands reaching under your clothes so you can feel what he's been struggling with until you showed up. once he's decided you're ready for him, he'll pull your pants down and panties to the side and fuck you like he can't think straight which he can't. "what took so long, y/n? you took a shortcut— didn't you? even after I told you not to… the next time I catch you doing it again, I won't let you cum."
➵ k for kink (one or more of his kinks)
saiki doesn't have kinks he does, he reckons his are the same as yours, since whatever you're into, he is too. though he won't ever say, the most turned on he's ever been is when he's fucking his cum into you, dick still sensitive from stuffing you full of his load, but the idea that this creampie might be the one that gets you pregnant, might be the one that makes you his completely, drives him insane. the first time you suggested that there wasn't a point in using a condom or birth control because you both were old and secure enough to try for a baby, he almost fucked you unconscious. 9 rounds later and he still couldn't get his dick to go down, surmising that the only thing that would satiate him would be when you were expecting. in short, saiki has a huge breeding kink. "no more, kusuo, I can't— please." "no. you can, and you will. you wanted this, remember?"
➵ l for location (favourite places to do the do)
saiki claims he doesn't have a favourite place, your bedroom or his— he doesn't care so long as he can have his way with you. what he refuses to disclose is his favourite place was that one time his friends had a get-together at a karaoke bar, and teruhashi was on her usual shenanigans, trying to woo saiki even after she knew the two of you were official. he had picked up on your insecurities and the hint of jealousy that lay beneath it, and when you left to order dessert for him at the front, he left the group not too long after, catching you in the hallway as you tried to figure out where to go, pulling you into an empty room, locking the door and turning the music on with his telekinesis, the song playing doing wonders to drown out the noises that escaped past your lips as he fucked you from behind and covered your mouth with his free hand for extra measure. he'd never admit, but your frantic thoughts of wanting to enjoy how deep he was hitting and how teruhashi could walk in at any moment, only fuelled his momentum until he was sure that the sound of his hips snapping into you was louder than the speaker of the room. "they— they'll notice, kusuo." "not… if you keep quiet, they won't."
➵ m for motivation (what turns him on, gets him going)
saiki swears you've messed up his mind— made him weird. before, it was you thinking about sex and nothing else in his vicinity that would get his stomach burning until he was thinking about it too, and then he'd fuck you into the sheets until you were satisfied before he went back to whatever he was doing before he was balls deep inside you. now, a mere touch is enough to set him off. from you ghosting your fingers over his back and under his shirt when you're scrolling through the internet, to an innocent look shot his way from across the room when he's busy and you're checking in with him, anything is enough to set him off when he's with you. it was a setback, sure, and it hindered his life every now and then until he took care of the problem. except it's gotten to the point where saiki can't stand not touching you, or being in your immediate vicinity. so now, on your days off, saiki chooses to pull you onto his lap, keeping you there and shoving his dick inside you, multitasking until you decide you can't take it anymore and try and grind against him, only for him to hold your hips in place immediately, your cunt clenching around the base of his cock until the esper decides he'll give into your wants. in short, you make saiki horny and his solution for it is cockwarming.
➵ n for nicknames (what are his favourite pet names for you? what does he call you when you’re both alone?)
truth be told, he doesn't really use nicknames for you, he prefers your name, using it to command your attention when you're drunk on his dick and struggling to take what he gives. from time to time though, he'll let one slip past his lips, enjoying how you clench around him, so close to your release, only for him to shoot you a small smirk and pull out completely so he can admire the way you whine for him to put it back in, smug from how utterly pretty you look drooling over his cock.
"struggling? that's too bad, we're nowhere near finished— be a good girl and behave for me, and I might let you cum again."
➵ o for oral (preference in giving or receiving, skills, etc)
at first, saiki preferred sex by itself and didn't see the need to give or receive, until you asked if he could try eating you out. the first time he did, he thoroughly enjoyed every second, watching as you writhed under his tongue. thinking back to it, maybe it was the way you pulled on his pink locks every time he paid any attention to your clit, or the way you tried to push him away, only for him to grab your thighs and force you to ride out your high on his tongue until you came again. or maybe it was how quickly you came undone, struggling to form sentences. all he knows is when he has the time for it, he'll make you cum on his tongue before he plugs you up with his dick. "wake up, y/n— don't pass out just yet. we're nowhere near done."
➵ p for pace (is he fast or rough? slow or sensual?)
he's both, it's whatever the mood calls for and how mean he's feeling. but he's mostly fast and rough the first few rounds, setting a punishing pace as he holds your hands above your head, forcing you to take every inch, that way he can watch how your face contorts in pleasure at all he's giving you. then, when you've come however many times, he'll grind into you instead of snapping his hips into yours, enjoying how you squirm, only going back to his rough pace when you beg him to. "and here I thought you said you couldn't go another round. what happened, y/n?"
➵ q for quickies (his opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc)
saiki prefers real sex any day over quickies, but with how busy life gets, sometimes that's all he has time for. he loves fucking you whenever he can no matter where you two are, since he can always teleport you to his place to take you against whatever wall is closest, so the want he feels for you subsides at least a little until he can fuck you properly like you deserve. he won't ever tell you this, but sometimes he prefers quickies over real sex, if only to watch you struggle to do whatever menial task calls your attention as you struggle to walk around the house with him thrusting into you from behind, he goes out of his way to fuck you as hard as he can so your legs give out, only for him to lower himself onto the floor and fill you up again with his dick as you try to crawl away. "where do you think you're going? we're not finished."
➵ r for risk (is he game to experiment, does he take risks, etc)
you were the one who taught him what intimacy was, beyond what he learnt in sex ed, and his vast knowledge of pleasure is thanks to you being patient until he picked up things by himself. so in essence he's game for experimentation so long as it's not too weird. now, when it comes to risk, saiki would rather avoid it, public sex and so on, since he has an allergy to being the centre of attention— that doesn't mean he hasn't chosen to fuck you in the worst situations, using his powers like invisibility as a fail-safe. like the time he fucked you in an alley on the way to a date, he made the conscious decision mistake of ghosting his hand over your thigh, before stroking the skin softly until your mind was running wild on the train, only to beg him to do something because you couldn't handle going the rest of the day without him taking responsibility. and responsibility he took, pulling you into an alley behind a dumpster, using his power over invisibility to stop anyone from seeing how fucked out you were when he pulled your panties to the side, only to slide in with no resistance, pussy pulsing around his dick as he swallowed your moans by moving your face to the side so he could kiss you from behind. "they can't see, but they can hear you. unless you want me to stop y/n, I suggest you try and keep quiet."
➵ s for stamina (how many rounds can he go for, how long does he last)
the answer to this one isn't simple, since saiki has the libido of a horse. the highest number you can remember is 16, but then again, you stopped counting halfway through the night and then picked up with whatever number you left off at 7 in your mind, 11 in total. considering how high your sex drive has gotten since saiki made you his, you assumed you'd be able to handle it, and the esper would be the one struggling, yet it's the opposite and no matter how you try, it seems saiki is always insatiable. all because he can't get enough of you, and since saiki thinks it's your fault he's become like this to begin with, you pay for it. "don't pass out just yet, I expected better y/n— with how you tried to tease me earlier."
➵ t for toy (does he own toys? does he use them? partner or himself?)
he doesn't own any toys, and the old vibrator you used before him is lost somewhere in storage since saiki knows he can please you better than any toy, and if he's not there, then you can wait until he comes back and finally fucks you. masturbating would be an option but saiki prefers you pent up so when the two of you get a moment alone you're so far gone he can have his way with you, teasing you for hours on end, and every time you whine or sob, he'll remind you that the wait is worth it as he shoves his cock back in, hissing at the way you clench around him before leaning down to kiss you and swallow your cries of relief when he fills you up— that, and saiki's fingers can double as a vibrator if you want them to so there's always that option. "come on, don't cry now— cum for me one more time and I'll give you what you want."
➵ u for unfair (how much does he like to tease)
he's very unfair but your opinion may be biased, since everything he does even if it's innocent it's not, but you don't need to know that just adds to your frustrations. like when he's enjoying whatever dessert he's managed to get his hands on, he always licks the spoon after every bite, and truth be told it does things to you, especially when he picks up on your staring, and makes eye contact with you as he cleans his utensil. at least, it always ends with you getting your brains fucked. you can't really complain when you're draped over his thighs as he forces you to ride him, deciding you're too slow and taking over as he snaps his hips up into you until you swear you can feel him in your gut. all the while, he'll take his sweet time, teasing that one spot that has your eyes rolling back until he works up the pace to just fuck you until you can feel his tip slamming into your cervix. the cherry on top is how he acts like he doesn't know damn well why you're so horny for him. "i barely did anything and you're dripping all over the floor… why, y/n? care to enlighten me?"
➵ v for volume (how loud is he? what sounds does he make?)
he's not loud, he talks but you rarely hear him feeling good. that's what makes it better in your opinion, since when he does make even the slightest noise, it goes straight to your pussy and it's enough to push you over the edge. so the few times when he's fucking into you, hand over your mouth so no one else can hear how good you're feeling from his dick, the other holding your hip in place so he can push into you nice and slow. when you clench around him, and he buries his head in the crook of your neck, soft groans escaping him at how tight you are, you cum on the spot, the last string of your sanity snapping, and it only spurs him on, his volume increasing if only by a little, moaning quietly as he loses himself to the pleasure, his thrusts speeding up, not giving you a chance to come down from your high when you feel another orgasm building up. "that's it, just like that y/n. cum for me again."
➵ w for wildcard (random headcanon for him)
saiki always cleans you up first, whether it's tissues on hand or a wet cloth, he'll make sure to wipe you down first and clean up after you before he fixes his own image. you don't pick up on it straight away, mostly because of how fucked out you are after, but the one time you do, it melts your heart instantly. it's not a huge gesture but it still pulls at your heartstrings as you watch him carefully wipe away the cum from your thighs, ignoring how he raises his eyebrow at your epiphany, rolling his eyes afterwards. "it's not a big deal, stop giving me googly eyes." "wha— well, I never." "…you need to stop watching that bridgerton stuff and go out for once, hug a tree or something."
➵ x for x-ray (what’s going on in those pants of his)
he's not big, or small, to be honest, the first time you got a good look at saiki's dick, you were sure it was perfect, like the size and look. his dick is pale, like his skin but his tip is always an angry red when he's hard, and it manages to kiss your cervix every time he's fully buried inside you, and his size is big enough that you can see a slight bulge in your stomach when he's inside you. correction, his dick is perfect for you.
➵ y for yearning (how high is his sex drive)
yearning, well it's not exactly yearning for saiki. it's much more than that, it's wanting to swallow every sound that leaves your lips in fear someone else might hear. like his inability to voice how much you mean to him is let out in the way he zeroes in on every thought going through your head, the mental images spurring him on to kiss you, touch you, ruin you until all you can think of is how good you feel, holding back from filling you up right then and there because you need to be utterly gone for him to be satisfied.
it's definitely more like needing to feel you clenching around him, the desire the only thing he can focus on to the point where the voices of all those strangers he hears every second he's awake is dulled, like you've tuned out some radio until all that's left is the sounds you make as he fucks into you like he's finally snapped and thrown all sense out the window, drunk on your body (which to be fair, he is). more like wanting to pull you impossibly close, your warmth nearly scorching him and all it does is add to the pit of fire rising in his stomach with every thrust into your cunt. it's more like wanting so badly with every fibre of his being to explain what it is he feels for you, and it definitely can't be described with a simple term like yearning, because if he could describe it saiki is sure he burns for you.
his sex drive is very high. saiki has enough energy that even you struggle, and that's saying something with how horny he gets you just by existing. and yet, you're the first one to tap out, albeit after the 9th or 10th round of cum he fills you with, but still. you have to live with the fact that he can fuck you until you pass out and come to again, but you're not complaining. surprisingly, saiki is almost always unstable until you're completely ruined and all you can think about is his dick. the only time he'll ever stop is when he knows you can't take anymore, telepathy always comes in hand for that.
"one more round— just one more and you can go back to working."
➵ z for zzz (how quickly does he fall asleep afterwards)
after the lust subsides, when the haziness clears up and he's no longer pussy drunk, saiki is always ready to pass out. all he wants to do after he's emptied his balls into you, is to pull you close and shut his eyes until the next day. but if there are things he needs to take care of or you want to talk about whatever new thing you're hyper-fixated on, he'll stay awake until you're ready to go to bed. "don't you get tired of scrolling through tiktok and forcing me to react to those weird reddit stories?" "never!" "fine, but if I don't wake up tomorrow, you'll pay." "your empty threats would sound a lot more frightening if you weren't trying to bury your head in my tits."

"Bye mom! Remember I'm going to the park with Kusuo after school so eat dinner without me, alright?" You said to your mom as you waved goodbye to her.
"Bye sweetie! Have a good day! Make sure to tell Ku that I said hello!" And with that you were off, closing your front door and making your way to none other than Kusuo Saiki's house.
Your name was Y/n L/n, a high school student at PK academy. Right now, as stated before, you were going to your best friends house to walk with him to school.
He was a pretty average guy, average grades, good parents, good friends (though he didn't consider them friends, but deep down you knew he did). Pretty 'normal' right? Expect there's one more thing about him that wasn't.
Saiki, was a psychic. He had all sorts of powers and he could do just about anything. Telepathy, psychokinesis, x ray vision, precognition, teleportation, clairvoyance, etc. Honestly it hurt your head sometimes trying to remember how much he could do.
See, you and Saiki have been friends since pre-school, and you didn't know he could do these things until your second year of middle school, where you had caught him using teleportation.
At first, you had just thought your mind was playing tricks on you, but the more you watched him from afar, the more you saw him use his powers.
And after confronting him you had gotten the answer. Saiki was a psychic. He showed you a lot of his powers while you sat on his floor with your jaw practically hitting the floor.
You chuckled slightly as you remembered, it felt like that was yesterday, and ever since then it was like playing hot potato each time you were around him.
You had to be careful on what you thought, or else thinking the wrong thing could lead to embarrassment, humiliation, and awkwardness...
As you approached his house you snapped out of your thoughts, you saw him standing right outside his front gate, waiting for you.
His pink hair made him stick out like a sore thumb, and his pink antennas, well to you anyway.
"Good grief, I'm not a sore thumb, I look fine."
"What happened to hello huh? I thought you were classier than that." You teased as you both started to walk towards your school.
"Jeez, why am I even walking to school with you." He responded in his usual monotone voice. "And can't you speak to me at least, it's been a while since I heard your voice." You gave him a slight glare, and he didn't even look at you in return.
"I speak to you all the time and you hear my voice perfectly." You scoffed and blew a raspberry at him.
"You know what I mean, whatever it'll happen again eventually. I'll just have to keep waiting and be patient!"
"Well you're going to be waiting a long time." And that was that. You groaned and looked away from him. As you continued to walk your mind wandered off again, recalling old childhood memories with Saiki...

"Saikoo!!" You ran up to Saiki in your adorable little kindergarten uniform, you were short and had a couple of scars on your face. But you were also smiling, big and wide.
Little kindergarten Saiki looked over at you as you caught your breath. "Don't call me that.." He replied his monotone voice just like the one he has now. Only more high pitched.
"But I love the name! I came up with it myself remember? Kusuo and Saiki combined! Am I a genius or what?!" You said as you started to giggle.
"I know, you've told me so many times..what do you need anyway?" You looked up at him with a slight smirk and grabbed a small white popsicle from your pocket. It was still in its packaging and it surprisingly hadn't melted.
"Let's play rock paper scissors! If I win I keep my popsicle, if you win I'll give it to you! Deal?" You waved the popsicle in his face and he nodded.
"Best out of three.."
....
Saiki stared at you as you held in your tears, but obviously it didn't work. You were sniffling, wiping boogers and tears that would come out as you tried not to cry.
"Y-You won..!" You managed to croak out as you handed him the popsicle. Saiki looked at it and looked back at you. He felt something, something he never really felt before.
He felt bad.. he had used his telepathy to win, which is what he always did, but he had never played rock paper scissors with you. And he didn't know you would cry from losing.
He took it out of your hands and started to unwrap it. You stayed there, trying to stop yourself from crying. And suddenly you saw the popsicle being shoved in your face.
"Let's share..it was yours after all...." He mumbled out, you saw a dust of pink paint his cheeks, it was definitely not as pink as his hair, but it was pretty close..
You stared at him, you'd be lying if you said you didn't feel your heart race. I mean c'mon, someone sharing something they won fair and square with you? How could you not feel flustered as a little kid.
You gave a big grin, similar to the one you had one before when you had run up to Saiki. "Thanks Saiko!! You're the best friend I could ever have!!"
You gave Saiki a big hug and started to giggle, he stayed still until you let go. He took a taste, then handed it for you to try, then after you, you handed it back. And that's how it went..until a teacher approached you two..

You looked up to see your school, which caused you to stop your memory early. You hadn't noticed but Saiki had on a small smile, as he was reading your mind.
And as you watched the memory play in your head, he also watched, he would never admit it to anyone, but that was probably one of the best days of his life..
"Hey, I didn't ignore you did I? Sorry I got to thinking..!" You said with a worried smile he shook his head.
"No, I was enjoying the peace anyway." You seemed to have forgotten for a moment that Saiki could read your mind. "Good. Oh right! Isn't today the school year opening ceremony?"
"Yeah, pretty sure." You started to grumble nonsense in frustration, "Cmon man! It's gonna be super boringgg!! Oohh!! Can you use your powers to like..I dunno, make it not happen?"
Saiki stopped as he got in front of his locker to change into his school shoes, he looked at you briefly before rolling his eyes.
"Hey! What was that for!" You scoffed and walked to your own small locker, which was only a couple rows away from Saiki's.
When you finished putting on your shoes, you closed your locker and headed straight to class, where the teacher would lead all the students to the gymnasium for the ceremony.
Jeez...how boring!!
You stood in the gymnasium with everyone in the school. Everybody was in rows, while the principal talked on the stage into a microphone, you honestly didn't know what he was rambling about.
Your mind was begging for something interesting to think of or for something interesting to happen. As you looked around you saw Saiki in front of you, only about 2 rows away from you.
You then saw somebody come up behind him and realized it was Riki Nendou, he's a guy no one likes but has strangely taken a liking to Saiki.
You knew Saiki didn't like him, not because he always hung around him, but because poor old Saiki couldn't read his thoughts. And everyone has thoughts Saiki can read.
Random people he sees on the street, people who speak different languages, young people, old people, hell, he can even read the minds of animals.
But when it comes to Nendou? Forget it. You had heard him rant about it a couple of times already and just the other day he told you he figured out why he couldn't read his thoughts.
Nendou is a moron, you can't read a mind if there's nothing on it. Which to Saiki, can be a weird experience, maybe even scary.
Out of nowhere, a green haired guy passed out in the middle of the floor, everyone gathered up around him and Nendou screamed.
He rushed over to the passed out guy and started shaking him, punching him, even giving him mouth to mouth.
During all the commotion, you walked over to Saiki. "Hey I think there is a god because he just answered my wish. Wait, you might be God right..? Did you do this for me Kuuu...~?" You teased and bursted out laughing.
You swore you heard Saiki's eyebrows twitch as he glared at you, "Why would I do something like this? I mean sure, maybe to get away from Nendou but he wasn't really bothering me too much."
"Well whatever, all that matters is that something interesting happened! Hopefully they cancel the ceremony because I was practically dying of boredom.." You shrugged your shoulders and Saiki sighed.
"Nendou! What do you think you're doing?! Take him to the nurse!" A teacher yelled out as he saw Nendou giving the green haired boy mouth to mouth.
"Wow, never thought I'd see Nendou kiss someone.." You muttered as Saiki nodded in agreement.
"Huh? What? The nurse? Okay, right!" Nendou yelled as he picked up the boy and wrapped his arms around his shoulder.
"Hey Saiki, L/n, why don't you both go with the two of them? I don't trust Nendou to find it.."
"Damn it.." Saiki hissed into your head, as you sighed in annoyance.
As Saiki opened the door to the nurses office, nobody seemed to be in there. No nurse, no students, and no teachers.
"Huh that's weird..is the nurse dead too? Guess I'll have to do mouth to mouth of you myself.." Nendou said as he clung onto the passed out boys shoulder.
"Please don't.." Saiki muttered, he looked sick and you laughed slightly at his expression. You decided to look around for any medicine or something that would help in this situation.
And as you had your back turned to everyone you heard a loud thud. You gasped slightly and looked over to see Nendou on the floor, the green haired guy ran over to the sink, yelling at Nendou.
"I don't need mouth to mouth you stupid idiot!" He started throwing up into the sink, grabbing onto it for dear life.
Well...this was an interesting turn of events..did you know he was faking? You thought to Saiki as you helped Nendou up.
"Obviously. But I couldn't really say anything or else Nendou and this kid would question how I knew.." He responded, using his powers to only speak to you telepathically right now.
"You're better! Well that's nice to see!" Nendou cheered with a small smile on his face. You felt bad for him, all he did was try to help, and this is the thanks he gets?
Though you also understood why the kid was throwing up..I mean..getting kissed by Nendou was definitely bad..
"Course I'm better! I was faking it!" He continued to throw up and started gargling water into his mouth.
"Wasn't worth it though since I got kissed by you!" The boy yelled as he turned to all of you, he looked disgusted and you rolled your eyes.
"Well if it makes you feel better I'm sad too..you were my first kiss.." Nendou said, sounding a little heartbroken as he tried to help the situation.
Oh wow...that's unfortunate isn't it?
"You're only making it worse Nendou..." Saiki added as the boy threw up even more. You wondered how much longer this was going to go on. He's thrown up so many times by now.
"Now everyone's gonna think Nendou and I are in love..." He wiped his mouth with his sleeve as he sat on the floor.
"I absolutely guarantee you no one is thinking that.." Saiki said as you chimed in, "I mean c'mon dude...did you really think there would be no consequences for doing this? If the nurse was here, and she found out nothing was wrong then what?"
The boy looked at you and stayed silent for a moment before glaring at you, "Hey, you better not tell anyone my fainting was fake..I don't care if you're a hot chick"
"Say what now..?" You stared at him with a blank face, now you felt like throwing up. Suddenly you heard something start to shake, you looked over to see the medicine cabinet shaking rapidly.
You let out a small scream and it suddenly stopped just like that. "Woah..this place is totally haunted dude!!" Nendou yelled, walking away backwards, far away from the cabinet.
You looked up at Saiki, who seemed unfazed. Was this your doing? You asked with a raised eyebrow, he didn't answer, due to being interrupted by the gym teacher who barged in.
"I heard it all!" He yelled as he glared at all of you. What, the faking or the ghost? "MATSUZAKI?!" The boy screamed out, he looked extremely scared. Of course he would be though, he had just been caught.
"So your fainting was a con job huh..?" He glared even harder, mostly at the boy who had faked passing out.
It felt like he was betting bigger and bigger towering over all of you. "That's not what happened sir! It's his fault! He forced me to collapse so he could skip out of the principles speech! And my sickness is actually a ruse!"
He suddenly started to fake cry and pointed a finger at Nendou, who bless his heart, was confused as hell. "Nendou is that all true?!" Matsuzaki looked over to him.
"Pinning this on Nendou isn't a half bad idea.." Saiki only was speaking telepathically to you now.
Yeah but I feel bad..he was just trying to help. You thought as you looked up at him.
"Huh? Saiki, L/n, what are you both doing here?" Matsuzaki questioned as he stopped yelling at Nendou for a moment.
"What?" "Oh! We were-" You both weren't even given a chance to explain yourselves before he started to speak again.
"Takahashi! Are they also a part of this?!" Ah, so the boy's name was Takahashi, the name sounded familiar to you, so you wondered if he was in your class and you just never noticed.
"who? Uh..yeah sure.." He stopped fake crying for a moment and you glared at him. Oh that little piece of sh-
"That's it! I want all of you in my office!" He screamed, which is all that he seemed to do. It was honestly starting to give you a migraine, seriously how can his voice not get tired of it?
"Dragging me and Y/n into this is a bad idea pal.." you looked up in surprise when you heard Saiki say that, but you realized quickly that he just accidentally forgot to stop saying things in your head.
He also realized what he had done and looked away.
Hey don't be embarrassed it's fi-
"I'm not embarrassed." He quickly answered and you looked down at the ground. Why can't he just admit things from time to time...jeez...why do I even lik-
"Hold on a sec teach!" Nendou called out, interrupting your thoughts.
"Wait finish that sentence.." Saiki said to you, in return you blushed. Crap! I always forget he can...- Dammit! Stop reading my mind Kusuo!
"His fainting is real...didn't you just hear him say it? Roots sickness.."
"........"
"Holy crap he's dumb! How can anyone mistake ruse for roots?!" You stayed silent in shock... Saiki's right ..how can anyone be so..dumb...?
Roots sickness is a deadly virus that infects the victim through their follicles.
"Oh that one..!" Matsuzaki puts his hand to his chin, thinking about what to do next, you on the other hand, sit down onto the black bench that was tucked in the corner and sigh.
You had a massive headache, you didn't know from what at this point.. Matzuzaki? Nendou? Takahashi? Saiki? It was hard to tell..
"You need help?" You heard Saiki ask you through your head.
No..you're just gonna make the pain go away right now and it'll come back to bite me in the ass tomorrow...I'd rather just deal with it now..
He looked at you and saw how much pain you were in, before he could think about what he was doing, he pet your head softly.
The gesture made your eyes widen with shock and you swore you could feel your face heat up.
The three guys were doing something you didn't really pay attention to, taking Takahashi's temperature you assumed because you heard Nendou say something about that.
Saiki then sat next to you, the closest he ever has actually. Is he trying to kill me..?! You thought without thinking, No! Wait! Stop! You didn't hear that right?! Dammit Kusu-
"Stop your whining, it's giving me a headache, you're loud in your head y'know..." He whispered next to you. Everything in your body stopped, like you were a robot who had been unplugged or something.
"92.8°c" You heard Matzuzaki say as he looked at the thermometer, which caused your little moment to end..wait...did he just say....?
"SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE NOW!!!!" He yelled, and loud. Next thing you know, medics came in with a rolling bed and they were taking Takahashi to the hospital in an ambulance.
You looked over at Saiki, who had a flame at his fingertip. "Phycocinises, my ability to manipulate fire." He showed you the thermometer, loud and proud. Which was something he didn't do at all.
"pfft..showoff.." You elbowed him playfully and smiled. "Hey, you melted the tip.." you pointed to it and he did indeed melt it.
"oops..better hide the evidence" He quickly balled it into his hand and set fire to it while making sure to keep it in his palm.
"Woah..." You heard Nendou say as he walked through he door.
"He saw..!" Saiki yelled out to you, both of your faces painted with worry. "You..have a fever too..?!" And just like that, Saiki was also brought to the ambulance, leaving you alone in the nurses office.
You laughed softly to yourself, "It's like bad luck just follows him I guess..."

"Oh hey Saiki, I totally forgot to tell you yesterday, but my mom wanted you to come over to talk to her. She said she wants to talk to you about something important." You told Saiki as you shrugged your shoulders.
Saiki finally looked up at you from his seat, after talking to him for a couple minutes already. "Something important? Are you sure she didn't mean my mom?" He questioned, as you looked down on him and saw his purple eyes.
You blushed as you looked into them, surprisingly you didn't turn into stone yet. "Good grief, stop staring and answer my question..." He pulled up his glasses so you wouldn't see his eyes anymore and you stood up straight as you blushed harder.
"S-Sorry..but no she didn't say your mom, she said you specifically. She said you could come by whenever you had time. It's not urgent..I don't think."
You looked away as you scratched the back of your neck, I need to stop getting flustered by him..at this rate he'll figure it ou-
"Did ya hear? A deadly snake escaped from the local zoo!" Somebody said loudly from behind you.
....why does someone always have to interrupt her when she's thinking about..that? Saiki thought to himself, he'd gotten fed up with people causing you to lose your train of thoughts whenever he was reading your mind. I mean, it's been happening since middle school, and it was getting old.
"Huh? A snake..?" You mumbled to Saiki as you looked over to the group of students. "There's a poisonous snake on the loose?!" The students friends eyes widened as he took in the information.
"Are you boys sure it escaped..this is just the kind of plan they'd come up with..fear not I the jet black wings are never fooled by their evil deception..someone must have set that snake free on purpose.!" You turned around to see none other than Shun Kaidou, who is someone you had met back in elementary school.
For a couple of years in elementary school, you and Saiki had drifted apart, and you had met Kaidou during those years. He was your best friend for a while until you and Saiki reconnected.
But you two still considered each other great friends, hell you are the only who, (only sometimes), played along with his persona.
He was always there to help you, no matter what you needed, he was right by your side.
"Hang on! You know the guy who did this Kaidou?!" One of your classmates yelled in anger as he slammed his hands onto the desk and got up.
"Some wannabe supervillain called the black wings?" Another guy asked in confusion, you snickered slightly, Kaidou's little world was hard to keep up with.
"No I'm jet black wings, the hero! The villains are a secret organization named dark reunion..and this escaped sake thing is the first of their evil plot to sort mankind!"
"Dark reunion?!" Everyone gasped and you cringed. "Are people really buying this?" You muttered to Saiki.
"Who?!...Jeez Never heard of them..." Everyone who was listening walked away in boredom as Kaidou stood there, his hands crossed and a smug smile on his face.
"Hah..once again the fate of the world into our super powered laps..say Saiki?" He walked over to the two of you and continued to smirk.
"Hey Shun! You gonna go save the world from the snake now or what?" You teased, he jumped back in surprise from seeing you and you heard a little squeak come out from him.
"Oh Y/n! Why of course, I just need to find it and I'll kill it in a matter of seconds..!" You rolled your eyes with a smile. "Right, well just be careful, kay?" He stuttered a small "O-Okay..!" Before walking off.
"You're close with Kaidou?" Saiki asked you as you looked at him. "Huh? Yeah why?" You tilted your head slightly in confusion.
"You called him by his first name."
"Ohhh!! Yeah we are, he's my best friend! Second to you of course." You smirked slightly.
"Really? That's surprising. I've never seen you two interact much."
"Yeah we kinda got out of touch when middle school started, but despite that he's still there for me when I need him."
Saiki didn't say anything more and just nodded. He honestly was not expecting that, you two were complete opposites, but he got over the small shock after a couple of minutes.
Kaidou was now saying some speech about what he had named the snake and something about the dark reunion having something to do with it. He was also saying how he was going to stop it, no matter what.
Well that was before somebody interrupted his day dreaming.
"Hey good news they caught the snake!" A classmate of yours entered the room and announced. "Well that's a relief! Where did they find it?" A girl asked him with a smile.
"At the schools front gate..it was just kinda laying on the ground, half dead." You saw Kaidou's face turn into shock.
"Kay but why was it dead?" The girl asked. "Some first graders had been whipping it around.." The guy responded, his face turning into a slight smirk.
"That's one weak ass murder snake.." Saiki said to you and you laughed slightly. "Sounds like we beat dark reunion this time!" Another guy said while snickering.
"Be careful what you say! They're a powerful secret society!" Someone else chimed in. "Who knows what they'll do to you once they sort man kind!"
Everyone in the classroom started laughing hysterically at Kaido, mocking him. He turned his back to everyone headed for the door. "Go ahead and laugh..this is the clam before the storm. D-Dark reunion is coming..! I tried to warn you all..I swear!"
You heard his voice break at the end and you frowned. "He's going to the bathroom to cry.." you sighed and started walking after him. "Where you going?" Saiki asked as he also stood up.
"Going to find Shun, obviously." You muttered before running off in the direction he went. Suddenly Saiki felt something coming, his eyes widened slightly.
"Hold up, I'm coming with."
"He's in the bathroom you said?" You looked around you with a worried look as you walked in the hallways, towards the boys bathroom.
"Yeah, but it was probably best he left." Saiki said, you looked up at him in confusion. "Huh? What do you mean?"
"Well the snake that they were talking about, it's in somebody's sleeve..." Your eyes widened, and you let out a small gasp. "How did it end up in there?!"
You stopped in your tracks and Saiki saw a small hint of fear in your eyes. "No clue." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Wait how do you even know this? I know your psychic and all but-" Before you could finish your sentence, you heard screaming. "Guess they found the snake..hold on, bear with me for a moment."
"Huh?" You then saw Saiki cross his eyes and you couldn't help but snicker. "Good grief..stay quiet and let me see what's going on."
Back in the classroom, everyone was screaming and yelling, most people were even on top of desks, trying to stay far away from the snake.
"What a bunch of dorks!" Nendou suddenly yelled out during all the commotion with a smug smile as he had his feet up on the desk and one of his hands behind his head.
"Nendou when did you get in here?!" Somebody yelled as Nendou laughed. "Your guys' balls still attached?"
"Worry about yours!"
"Mine feel weird.."
"Well obviously they do!...the snakes on your crotch.."
Nendou's head looked like it stopped working and his eyes went blank, his mouth even frothing a bit. "Nendou!!!" Everyone yelled.
"What the hell is going on in there..?!" You asked as you heard people yell Nendou's name. Saiki still had his eyes crossed which you figured was one of his powers that helped him look somewhere else where he wasn't present.
The power of Clairvoyance! By crossing his eyes, Kusuo is able to remotely view distant locations!
Saiki then took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes, you quickly looked away at the sudden movement. Every time you see even a hint of his purple eyes you can't control your blush or heartbeat.
"Nendou was making fun of everyone for being scared..until the snake bit his crotch.." You looked back up at him in surprise. "C-Come again...?"
"Don't worry it didn't bite through the fabric.." You sighed in relief before hearing more yelling. "Everybody get down!" You gasped in shock, you'd recognize that voice anywhere.
"K-Kaidou?! That idiot..!" You hissed before running off back to the classroom. "Y/n wai-" Saiki called out, but it was too late you weren't going to listen to him.
As you slammed the door open you saw him, protecting everyone by standing in front of the snake like bait. He stood tall and brave, he even had his arms out. "I'll take care of this snake!"
"Kaidou! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" You knew that no matter how tough he was acting, he was scared inside.
"Alright murder dragon snake, it's time you face me! The jet black wings! Let's go.." He got into a weird pose, acting all cool.
You cringed at the scene, everyone else was debating on fleeing and leaving Kaidou on his own.
The snake suddenly started to move towards a girl, she screamed in horror. But before anything could happen Kaidou got in front of her to protect her. "Take this! Judgement night sun!" He yelled out.
And just like that the snake was electrocuted, "What..?" You mumbled, no way Kaidou had powers. The snake landed on the ground, he was basically charcoal now.
Everyone cheered for Kaidou, at first he looked shocked but then he had on a huge grin. You smiled, you knew that it probably wasn't him who did that, but he still had the guts to protect that girl.
"I see why you wanted to protect him." You heard a voice say, you saw Saiki standing next to you, he smiled slightly. "He's stupid, he might not have real superpowers but he definitely has real courage..don't you agree?"
You smiled at Saiki and he nodded. "That's exactly what I was thinking."
Thus the great snake attack came to an end!
"I don't care for this new attitude of yours Kaido." The teacher said to him with a glare. Kaidou was now acting like the king, doing whatever he wanted now.
"You better watch what you say teach, it isn't a pleasant thing to get blasted with the judgement nights of thunder...." He said with a deep voice and a smirk.
"That's it! Go to the principal's office!"
He got more immature!
"I take back everything I said..."
Tumblr media
"woah look at her.."
"Wow..."
"Oh my gosh.."
You turned around to see what all the commotion was about, only to see one of your Classmates, Kokomi Teruhashi.
"Oh wow!"
"She's so pretty..!"
You have to admit, Teruhashi is very beautiful, and she was sweet to you too. But you aren't very close. Still you don't hate her. I mean, it's a literal fact that she's pretty, and you weren't afraid or annoyed to admit that.
Hell, if you were a guy you'd probably say 'Oh wow!' too. After a couple of seconds looking at her you turned back to look ahead of you. Right now you were walking back home, after shopping for a couple things for your room and cat.
"Saiki! Hi! I couldn't help but notice you looked sad.." You heard Teruhashi say in a sweet chipper voice. You turned around and saw she was talking to Saiki.
He's here? Why didn't he say anything to me? Probably his alone time or something. Wonder how he'll react to Teruhashi..this should be interesting...
But instead of reacting like any other guy, he bowed respectfully and continued walking. THAT'S IT?! Both you and Teruhashi thought.
No way...I mean I don't know why I'm surprised, it's Saiki after all. But seriously? Not even a hello?
"Saiki! Silly..! You know it's not polite to ignore a girl..!" She poked him, trying to be cute and sweet. But he dodged..
Your jaw dropped slightly, before you started to chuckle. You quickly shut up as you realized some people were staring.
Should I help him? Nah, he's a psychic, he's got it covered. You continued to walk, bags in hand and with a slight smile.
"Saiki! Don't leave me alone!" You saw from the corner of your eye that she tried to catch him in a hug. But again he dodged.
You thought about it for a moment and shrugged your shoulders. Eh, I'm bored. And it's not like I'm doing anything wrong. I'm gonna see how this unfolds..
You saw Teruhashi stay in the same position, ready to hug him, she stood still with her jaw open and wide eyes.
"Oh brother..stop watching and help me out already.." You jumped up a bit as Saiki startled you. Why should I help, you're living every guy's dream y'know? A pretty girl chasing after you? I mean c'mon, look how much attention you're getting... You said sarcastically, teasing him.
"Saiki!!" She called out again, running after him. "Here she comes..the one thing this arrogant girl won't consider is that I'm ignoring her. Thought to be fair, if I was the type of guy she thinks I am I probably react the way she wants me to, Nendou as well. And from what I heard, you too right?"
Yeah obviously, I admire her y'know? But from what you just told me, her thoughts are much different from what she acts.
"You got that right...now get her away from me, she's attracting so much attention to me."
Teruhashi kept trying to touch him, and you didn't really understand why. "Do you mind if I tag along? I promise it'll be fun Saiki!"
Jeez...she's determined...
"To answer your question, she's trying to prove to me that she's real, since she thinks that I think she's an illusion.."
Right...well how can I help? If I talk to you to get you out of this situation, you'll have to talk to her or at least notice her existence.
"Talk to her then. Not me."
Hell no, if I make her mad by distracting her from her goal, you, then she'll be after me for the rest of my life!
"Good grief..wait...is that? Nendou! This is bad...if he acknowledges her, I have no choice but to acknowledge her too..! I'll be checkmated my social convention.."
I think this is the most I've ever heard you talk...
"Sorry, I don't really have time to separate my thoughts and what I want to say out of your head."
Don't be...
"What..?"
Nothing!!
You felt your face heat up and you took deep breaths, trying to keep yourself from thinking about anything embarrassing any further.
"Oh no! Where did Saiki go?! What's going on?!" You heard Teruhashi say to herself. You made eye contact for a second and she quickly walked over to you.
Crap..!!
"L/n..?" She turned over to you and you tensed up. "H-Hey.." You mumbled out, trying your best not to sound nervous. "Do you know where Saiki went?"
"Huh? N-No sorry, I don't think he was here, I would've seen him, he sticks out to me..hehe.." You felt yourself starting to sweat a bit, lying to Teruhashi was like playing with fire.
She suddenly looked down at her hand, her face went red, and her eyes seemed to sparkle more than usual.
"Y-You okay?" You saw put her hand over her chest, where he heart was and your mind went blank.
D-Dont tell me.....that's exactly how I ooked when...
"Am I falling in love with Saiki..?" She whispered very quietly to herself.
H-HUH...?!!!!
You sighed in frustration as you approached your house, never in a million years would you have thought that Teruhashi would like Saiki.
"Hey." You screamed and jumped in surprise, you turned around to see the psychic himself.
"Well looks like you're a ladies man aren't you?" You chuckled, assuming he had been reading your thoughts. "Don't remind me..this is such a pain..she's going to be a new problem for me now..."
You rolled your eyes with a smile before opening the gate to your house. "You coming in? If you have time of course.. remember my mom wanted to talk to you?"
"Right but first I.." He looked down at the ground and handed you a small pink paper bag. "What's this?" You asked, but he stayed silent.
You took it from his hands and opened it, it was a small brown cat plush, that looked just like your own cat, coffee jelly.
"Oh my gosh! It looks just like coffee! Where did you get it? And why?" You smiled big and hugged the plush.
"I saw it when I was out, and you technically did help me escape from Teruhashi.."
"Ahh..I see." You nodded as you realized. Saiki hated being in debt to someone, and since you helped him, he wanted to get you something to say thanks.
"Thank you so much Kusuo! I love it!" You smiled and giggled a little, he nodded. "Anyway, I might as well talk to your mom while I'm here..."
"Mom! I'm home! And look who I brought!" You called out as you walked in. "Hi sweetie! Who did you bring by?" Your mom walked out from the kitchen and she gasped slightly before smiling as she saw who was with you.
"Kusuo! How are you? How's your mom been?" She asked as she walked towards you two. "I'm fine, and my moms been good, she's been asking how you've been."
"Oh well you tell her I'm doing just fine! And make sure to mention that I'll be waiting on Saturday for our shopping day!"
Saiki nodded, while you put all your shopping bags down. "Where's Coffee? He asleep?" You asked your mom.
"He's out like a light in your room! Why don't you go check on him while I talk to Saiki here?"
"Sure, call me if you need anything!" You waved goodbye and walked up the stairs to your room.
"Saiki dear, sit down, won't you?" He sat down on the dining table as she handed him a coffee jelly and a spoon. "Thank you." He said as he opened it and ate a spoonful.
"How have you been controlling your powers honey? Been staying out of trouble?" He nodded as he continued to smile and eat.
"Good, I'm glad. Now let's get to the point." He tensed up slightly as he heard her tone change into more serious, and she glared at him.
"My daughter, I'm aware you know of her feelings for you? It's not rocket science, you're a psychic and I'm sure she's thought about it before. And I know you've heard her talk to me about you right?"
She crossed her arms and stared dead into his eyes, if he didn't have powers, he'd probably be terrified right now.
"Now let me get one thing straight..if you ever hurt my daughter in any way shape or form, I will not hesitate to harm you, I don't care if you're a psychic..my daughter comes first..okay?"
Oh wow... He thought, he didn't know where all this was coming from, he suddenly didn't really have an appetite for his coffee jelly. All he did was nod again.
"Phew! I'm glad that's all sorted out! You better hurry home now, I'm sure your mother is worried sick!"
She quickly stood up and grabbed Saiki by his arm, rushing him to the door. "Have a nice night sweetie! Be sure to come visit again, Kay? Night!" She closed the door on him as he stood there, dumbfounded for a couple of seconds.
He sighed and started to walk off. Where did all that come from? It was honestly kind of terrifying.
He stopped walking and looked up at your window, where your room is located. He used his clairvoyance to look at you, sleeping peacefully with your cat and the plush he had given you.
Your room was decorated with all sorts of things, but something caught his attention. He hadn't been in your room for a while, so he figured you had just put it up.
There was a newspaper attached to your wall with thumb tacks...it had a picture of you two, you had a big toothy grin on your face and held up a peace sign with your right hand. And with your left you held Saiki's hand as he had no smile on his face whatsoever as he looked into the camera.
The title of the newspaper was called, Rock-Paper-Scissors kids.
He then took off his glasses as he rubbed his eyes, his clairvoyance always made his eyes feel weird after using it. He smiled slightly before teleporting back to his house.
"I'm home.."

A Not-So-Disastrous Romance (Book 1) Chapter Four
Kusuo Saiki x Reader
Chapter Four: Safety Drills and Clairvoyants
Summary: (Y/N) and Saiki perform a safety drill, and Saiki has to make sure his friends don't get tricked by a fake psychic.
“Listen up, everyone! There’ll be an evacuation drill today!” announced Hairo.
            “Evacuation drill, huh?”
“Ha! I’ll be fine. I don’t need to rehearse,” said Nendou.
“Yes, he does,” whispered (Y/N), leaning over to Saiki. “Yesterday, he walked into the first-year hall and thought it was ours.” They grinned cheekily.
Saiki sighed. “Of course, he did.”
“Nendou, you shouldn’t take the drill so lightly,” warned Hairo. “Take a fire, for example! You’re surrounded by hot flames. The smoke makes it hard to see. You have trouble breathing! Now, what’re you gonna do in such a hot and hostile environment?! Can you make a level-headed decision in that situation when you didn’t even bother to participate in the drill?! Preparedness always pays off!”
“You’re as hot and suffocating as a fire,” said Saiki.
“Fires are great for making s’mores on a summer night,” said (Y/N), thinking aloud.
They wouldn’t survive a fire, either, would they? The psychic sighed. For all (Y/N)’s good sense, they lacked it at some critical moments. Yare yare. They’re all so troublesome.
“Anyway, when the fire alarm goes off, follow the instructions and evacuate to the schoolyard,” said Hairo. He was acting much calmer than he had been a few seconds ago. “This is a mnemonic created by using the initials for the important considerations during an evacuation. ‘SOS.’ ”
If I remember correctly, it stands for “Slow, Orderly, and Silent.”
(Y/N) brightened. “I was right earlier! ‘S’mores On Summer nights.’ ”
Saiki deadpanned even more than usual. That’s not even close.
“Oh, I get it!” piped up Nendou. “ ‘Save Our Selves!’ ”
“That can’t be right!” protested (Y/N).
Do they remember what it actually means?
“We should Save Others before Snacks!”
Well, at least they have good intentions…
“Well, I suppose, but…” said Hairo.
“Then, it must be ‘Someone! Over here! Save me!’ ” said Nendou.
            “Do it yourself,” said Saiki.
Kaidou laughed derisively (acting dramatic as usual). “You’re stupid as ever.”
“What?! Do you know what it means?” questioned Nendou.
“Hmph, of course, I do,” declared Kaidou confidently.
“What? Is it ‘Save Others with Superpowers?’ ” laughed (Y/N), obviously joking.
            Nendou laughed. “Good one, pinky.”
“No! It’s ‘Scorching Oblivion Smackdown!’ ” said Kaidou.
            Everyone was silent.
“I was just kidding,” said Kaidou, backpedaling quickly. “It stands for ‘Slow, Orderly, and Silent.’ ”
“Yes, that’s right,” said Hairo. “So everyone, please remember SOS when you are participating in the drill.”
The PA system turned on. “A fire broke out in the science room on the first floor. Please evacuate.” The fire alarm began to ring.
“The sound of fire alarms makes me panic,” said Teruhashi.
“This is important. We should pay attention,” said Saiki.
“Fire, you need to Stay calm. Open your bag and take out your safety hood, then Stand in line in order of your student number,” explained Hairo.
(Y/N) walked over and picked their hood up. Since the buttons were directly under their chin, they fumbled with them. Sighing, Saiki walked over and buttoned it correctly. (Well, really he held his hands up and the buttons did themselves, but it was still Saiki making them do so. It counted).
“Thanks, Saiki!” chirped (Y/N). Their heart fluttered at his help, and they smiled widely.
“Yare yare. It’s just for helping at the sports festival,” said Saiki, looking away. He didn’t like being in debt to anyone, so helping with buttons would even out the food thing. That was all.
“Oh, no,” said Teruhashi, frowning down at her hood. “I can’t figure out my buttons.” Saiki will see me in trouble and help! Then I’ll thank him, and he’ll say “Oh, wow!”
            Not happening.
A swarm of boys jumped to Teruhashi’s side. “We’ll help you, Teruhashi!”
“We shouldn’t wait around here! The fire could spread,” warned Hairo.
“If you spend too much time helping me, you guys will…” Teruhashi gasped dramatically and softened her eyes thankfully.
“She’s right! What is your guys’ plan?” asked Hairo.
“Sacrifice Ourselves to Save her,” declared the boys.
            “I-I see,” said Hairo.
Saying nary a word they’d Offer me their help. They’re my love Slaves. Teehee, thought Teruhashi.
Class 3 lined up by the door and began exiting.
“Okay! Let’s start evacuating,” ordered Hairo.
“Oh, shoot, I left my phone in class,” said Tadashi. He began to turn around, but Hairo interceded.
“Stop, Tadashi! You’re Out of line, Stay in place,” commanded the class rep.
            “He’s trying too hard.”
“Mhm,” hummed (Y/N), chewing on a snack.
Saiki almost deadpanned more than usual. They had marshmallows with them. No wonder they kept thinking about s’mores. “I feel like I’m hearing SOS in almost everything now.”
            “That’s a Strange Occurrence, Saiki,” said (Y/N).
“See? What did I tell you?”
(Y/N) blinked before smiling. “Whoa, you’re So Observant, Saiki.”
“Stop it, guys. Obviously a fire drill doesn’t have time for Stupid quarrels,” said Kaidou to Hairo and Tadashi.
“Right! Great call, Kaidou!” said Hairo. “Let’s continue down the stairs! We’re almost there!” He stopped at the first floor. “What?!” The way was blocked. “Stop! The path leading Outside has been Shuttered?!”
“Seriously? Come On. We’d be Screwed if this wasn’t a drill,” muttered the discontent students.
“I wonder if the shutter was closed by mistake,” said Teruhashi.
“I think it’s because this goes by the science room,” pointed out (Y/N), still munching marshmallows.
Saiki nodded. How do they manage to be so observant and clueless at the same time?
“Stay calm. Obviously, there’s gotta be a Solution,” said Hairo. “A solution?” He became serious and introspective. “I see…I now understand the point of this shutter!”
“I think he finally figured it out, too,” said Saiki.
“We’re being tested! This is an obstacle!” declared the redhead. “During a fire, Sometimes Obstacles Stance in our way! In other words, to move forward, we must break through this shutter!”
“Isn’t it made to be tough to break?” asked (Y/N), tilting their head.
Excepting Saiki, the boys weren’t listening. “Alright then! Let’s break that shuttle!” The grabbed a fire extinguisher and a desk to throw at the barrier.
“In a real fire, they’d be the first to go,” said Saiki. He glanced over at (Y/N) and their marshmallows. “You might be next.”
They were blissfully unaware of his comment and just held out a sweet treat to him. “Want one?”
“…Yes.” Coffee jelly may be his favorite snack, but he liked other sweets, too. Alright, so maybe I’d save you since you bring me dessert.
Finally, Hairo, Nendou, and Kaidou managed to open a corner of the shutter and let the students pass through. Mr. Matsuzaki was waiting on the other side.
“So…You wrenched open the shutter and escaped through the front entrance,” observed the gym teacher. “I see…Who would break a shutter?! We just installed it! Are you Simpletons Out of your minds? Do you know what it costs to repair a Shutter?!”
            “We’re sorry!” apologized the boys.
Geez…This is why I told them…Ah, I guess I didn’t tell them directly. Well, this school doesn’t need an evacuation drill to start with, though. Because…So long as I’m around, Ordeals such as fire Simply will not happen.
Yare yare. Now I’m doing it.
l
Throughout the town, the news of the House of Fortune Telling was spreading like wildfire. Apparently, a skilled clairvoyant worked there. People were loving what she said. Whether or not she was correct in her predictions was still unknown, but people kept on going to her, especially curious teenagers.
“Hmph. How stupid. Fortune-telling is just an illusion created by a bunch of people who pretend to be prophets,” said Kaidou.
“Wow, it’s pretty rare that you and I agree on something,” said Saiki.
(Y/N) nodded. “I find it hard to believe someone who can actually see the future isn’t being sought out by governments.” They grinned. “But I’m going this afternoon, anyways. I’m curious about what she’ll say, even if it is totally made up. It’ll be fun.”
“Well, forget that,” said Kaidou, “I have something more important to discuss with you two. Come with me after school today. Have you noticed? I sense a strange aura being given off in this town. I think Dark Reunion is behind it.”
“Whatever floats your boat,” said (Y/N), “And I already have plans.”
“That’s just an illusion you created,” said Saiki to Kaidou.
Saddened, Kaidou walked away. Nendou popped up beside Saiki and (Y/N).
“Pal, pinky! Have you heard? There’s a fortune-telling shop nearby,” said Nendou.
“It’s ‘House of Fortune Telling.’ I’m tired of hearing about it already.”
“Yeah, I know!” chirped (Y/N). “I’m going to check it out later today, ya know, for curiosity’s sake!”
Looks like I’ll be making sure my friends bothers don’t make bad decisions today.
If Saiki was being at all observant of his own actions, he’d notice that as soon as (Y/N) was involved, he was way more willing to wade into irritating situations to keep track of his friends. Acquaintances. (Friends).
l
Saiki, invisible to all, sighed and followed (Y/N) inside the House of Fortune Telling. Kaidou was with them because they had spotted him “in disguise” in line. The inside was made to look like a stereotypical psychic’s shop with a crystal ball, shimmery drapes, lows lights, the whole nine yards.
“Welcome to the House of Fortune. Please have a seat,” said the fortune teller.
            “O-Okay,” said Kaidou.
            “Alright,” said (Y/N).
            They both sat down.
“I’m Mikiko Clairvoyance. Nice to meet you,” said the lady.
(Y/N) tilted their head in confusion at her name. That feels way too on the nose. Like a stage name.
“On what matter would you like advice today?” asked Mikiko.
            “Umm,” said Kaidou.
I see. They seem half in doubt, too.
“Oh, my…I sense a very unusual aura from you, young man!” said Mikiko.
            “What?!” gasped Kaidou.
“You’re no ordinary person, are you,” asked Mikiko slyly. “Do you have special gifts?”
(Y/N) watched the proceedings in amusement.
“And you!” Mikiko turned to the teenager.
            “Me?” (Y/N) pointed to themself.
“Yes! You’re quite important to someone with gifts, aren’t you?!” questioned the clairvoyant dramatically.
(Y/N) shrugged and laughed. “Sorry, ma’am, you got the wrong person.” They brushed her off without a second thought. There weren’t many people they wanted to be important to, and having gifts didn’t go into it. Plus, the list wasn’t that long. Their friends, family, Saiki.
But Saiki’s a friend, so there we go, thought (Y/N) decidedly, brushing the way their mind separated him from everyone else away.
Wait…important to someone with gifts?! thought Kaidou. Does that mean…me?! A sudden blush overtook his cheeks as he looked at (Y/N).
Oh, wow. Saiki frowned slightly. He was more annoyed than usual as he saw Kaidou, even though he was just confused, get all flustered because of (Y/N). It just felt so…troublesome
“Ah…well, perhaps you’re just not aware of it!” covered Mikiko expertly. Not a good target. I should focus on the boy. She turned quickly to Kaidou. “You’re troubled by something! Am I wrong?!”
“How did you know that?!” gasped Kaidou.
People without troubles wouldn’t come to a place like this.
“Let me tell you what it is…” Mikiko carefully gaged what her predictions should be by watching Kaidou’s reactions. “A problem with romance…is not what it is, so an issue with your future and schoolwork…isn’t what’s troubling you, either. So it’s something to do with your friends and relationships!” She nailed it on the third try. “Yes! Your source of trouble is one friends and relationships!”
“H-How do you know that?!” stammered Kaidou.
            You make it too easy.
“Most teenagers have that problem,” whispered (Y/N) to Kaidou, but he paid them no mind.
“Yeah, you’re right. That is the source of my troubles,” said the blue-haired boy. “I’m an assassin known as the Jet-Black Wings who came from a parallel world.”
            (Y/N) sweat-dropped.
What is he talking about? thought Mikiko.
I ask myself that question every day.
“But after I learned the truth about the organization…” rambled Kaidou.
            Mikiko nodded. “I understand.”
“I’m used to fighting.” Kaidou clenched his fist. “But sometimes I think about my life…I live in solitude…I don’t have anything I can call frie—I mean, comrade.”
“Aww, I’ll be your friend!” chirped (Y/N), leaning affectionately towards him.
            “A-Ah!” Kaidou squeaked and blushed.
Saiki’s eyebrow twitched. (Y/N) was too nice for their own good, and Saiki didn’t need Kaidou having any misguided feelings for them. That would be complicated. That was the trouble. Obviously.
In an attempt to keep his attention, Mikiko said, “But he needs someone to completely understand him! You need a new approach. You should try to understand others.”
Oh, so she says some decent things, too. Maybe I misjudged her.
“Also, this will help.” She opened a box which held necklace. “You’ll be fine if you wear this necklace.
            “What’s that?” asked (Y/N).
“If you wear this, you’ll be able to make friends with one hundred people and with Kento Yamazaki!” explained Mikiko. “If you buy now, I’m willing to offer you the low price of thirty-thousand yen.”
(Y/N)’s eyes widened, and their jaw dropped open.
“Thirty-thousand yen?!” cried Kaidou. “I-I’ll buy it! But I want to know one thing first. Will this make me friends with Saiki?!”
A soft smile spread across (Y/N)’s face. “Aww, Kaidou…”
“If you wear it, that Saiki guy will follow you around saying, ‘Hey, pal,’ ” said Mikiko.
(Y/N) blanked. “Huh?” There was no way that was happening. Plus, that was Nendou’s line.
“I-I’ll buy it!” declared Kaidou. He paid without hesitation.
“Well, well, good luck, now I must see other customers!” Mikiko rushed them out the door to the street. “Next person! Please come in.”
Kaidou regarded the necklace happily as he walked down the street with (Y/N).
“If nothing else, it’s…pretty,” said (Y/N). They weren’t sure it would work.
            “Kaidou!”
Both teens turned around. Kaidou was excited to have his first friend while (Y/N) was just surprised that the necklace might actually do something. They were both let down because it was just Mikiko.
“I’m giving this back! I had no idea what you were saying was true!” she cried. She shoved Kaidou’s money back into his hands.
“What? Then what about the necklace?” asked Kaidou.
“You can have it! I bought it at a street stall for five-hundred yen!” she shouted as she ran.
“What?!” cried Kaidou, realizing the necklace wasn’t magical.
(Y/N) patted his back. “Sorry. At least you got your money back. And don’t worry, you’ve already got one friend. Me!” They beamed radiantly.
            “Oh!”
The pair turned after hearing Nendou’s voice. He had just run into Saiki.
“Oh, hey, pal! Oh, and you, too, runt, pinky?” asked Nendou.
Kaidou’s eyes widened. Three of the people he was closest to were suddenly all around him. He gazed in wonder at the trinket in his hands. “So this necklace really is…”
            Saiki sighed.
(Y/N) grinned. “No, no, Kaidou. Can’t you see? We’re already your friends!”
            Kaidou blushed. “A-Ah! R-Right!”
Saiki was torn between being annoyed at Kaidou’s flustered state and enjoying how kind (Y/N) was. Those two annoy me, but you—he looked at (Y/N)—I can tolerate you.

rewatching Saiki K got me thinking again
what if his 'inner thoughts'/narration and commentary to the audience, were actually what he was saying to everyone else?
bear with me i swear i have a point
so we've established that Saiki doesn't speak out loud (aside from the couple exceptions, usually when he's caught off guard), he telepathically sends what he wants to say to whoever he wants to say it to, and creates the illusion that his mouth is moving. seems like more work than actually speak but whatever
i think this is quite often treated in headcanon and fanfic that he doesn't talk to anyone at all (obviously write and headcanon however you want to), but i always went under the assumption he does speak, just doesn't initiate conversation. there are definitely times where he's clearly speaking to someone, not just the audience, mainly when talking to his parents, but also definitely sometimes with friends too.
this then presents my headcanon, that whenever he has his witty commentary to the audience while another person is talking to him, he's talking to them too, and just doesn't care
it takes 'oh Saiki's a quiet kid who's secretly harbouring rage and annoyance at everyone around him' to 'Saiki is openly a jerk to everyone and talks about having powers a lot but they all just think he's joking and don't take notice of what he says'
which makes some of his lines a whole lot funnier if you consider he's deadpan saying it to their face
"are you a first grader?"
"wanna throw down, punk?" (one of my favourite lines)
"Girls are as plentiful as the stars in the sky, and equally as out of reach for you"
"so you're basically a fan blade now?"
"there's a harem cliche for you"
"wait... PURGE ME!"
"i know that butt."
"Are you a god?"
"I'd rather fall to my death than go on a date with you"
there's definitely more lines that refer to his powers and some funnier stuff, feel free to add on your favs!

i saw your dr stone senku oneshot about senku realizing hes inlove and just wanna say i LOVEDDD IT, so i was wondering if i could request a similar thing to that but with kusuo (i dont rlly mind if its a headcannon or oneshot or whatever, anything works!) with like aren or mikoto randomly pointing out that kusuo looks like he likes the reader LMFAOO
Tumblr media
hi there! thank you very much for your request! i'm glad you liked my dr stone oneshot!
i tried to mimic the straightforward, fast-pace, absurdness(?) of the show- i hope i did it justice ;,)
warnings: none!
wc: 1.9k
Tumblr media
Kusuo, as much as he tries not to, cannot help attracting people into his life. He does his best to avoid socializing and standing out by minding his own business, hoping others will do the same.
But instead (and seemingly without doing anything), he’s acquired a large group of friends who greatly admire and care for him. It’s undeniable that they could be troublesome, but he still goes the extra mile for them and even those he doesn’t know well. You were in Kusuo’s class and lived in his area, so he often saw you in and out of school, and just like the rest of his friends, you managed to meddle your way into his life. You’ve repeatedly witnessed his kindness and compassion, and each time you’ve confronted him, he’d brush it off and chalk it up as an interference to his peace.
Kusuo was pretty bland to you besides his funky accessories and bright pink hair, but you found he was an easy person to talk to, mostly because (and sadly enough, depending on perspective) the conversations you had with him were pretty one sided. You didn’t think much of Kusuo’s quietness, and took him to be a good listener instead of someone who was disinterested in what you had to say.
Over time however, whatever irritation Kusuo originally had with you faded as you familiarized yourselves with one another. He found himself hanging out with you and contributing more to your conversations (telepathically, of course) out of his own volition. If he wasn’t forced to hang out with Kaido and Nendou, and maybe sometimes Aren, he was usually spending time with you. He seemed to tolerate you more than anyone else in his life because of your patient understanding nature. You were non-invasive, never forcing Kusuo to do anything he didn’t want to, and covered for him whenever he was confronted by others so as to avoid further attention. For your kindness, he’s subconsciously given you his time and attention and is a little more lenient with allowing you into his life.
Saiki discovered with time that the two of you actually share a lot of common interests, such as a love for video games and manga. On top of that, he also greatly respected your determination, hard work, and open mindedness.
“Why does Y/N get to…?!” his other friends would groan out or shriek in irritation when he enabled you over them, to which he’d deadpan, “because they’re not insufferable like the rest of you.”
Even though you two have always been strictly friends, Kusuo just cannot help getting himself into tricky situations as well, and so no matter how hard he tries to make it seem like the opposite, somehow people are always getting the wrong idea when the two of you are together.
It’s hard to tell who exactly was the first in Saiki’s friend group to suspect anything, but his friends all at once slowly started acting unnatural when the two of you hung around together or talked about each other.
The people who addressed the elephant in the room first were Toritsuka and Mikoto.
Saiki and the two were dealing with a dangerous situation, which was surprisingly and maybe even alarmingly normal considering the nature of Saiki’s friends (being psychics and all), when you suddenly approached him in the midst of their chaos.
You called a greeting toward him and his friends and then started rambling about your day, completely oblivious to the danger the group was trying to tame. You brought up a low grade you got, an annoying teacher, and then asked Saiki if he wanted to go out to a cafe after school.
But Saiki suddenly grabbed your shoulders and looked you firmly in the eyes, catching you and the other two psychics off guard, because they stopped whatever panicking they were doing to watch.
A beat of silence. “Saiki?” “I’ll meet up with you at the cafe, alright? I’ll even treat you, just get out of here.”
And you’re confused on why he sounds so serious and urgent, on why his grip on you is so firm, but you’re patient, and so all you do is stare at him with a small frown and go “okay.”
You said your goodbyes and headed off with the group watching you do a double take before disappearing behind a corner.
And Kusuo immediately regrets holding onto you when he turns around to the stunned looks on his friends’ faces, who, after a moment of processing the sight, are in his face.
“I knew it! I knew the two of you were dating! You don’t have a heart of stone after all!” “I wish you would’ve told us, Kusuo! They’re cute, too!”
He’s insanely annoyed by this, obviously, and immediately shuts down the mistranslation. “Quiet! I’m not dating anyone and stay out of my business. We have to continue…”
But from there, the situation only worsened. Everyone was thinking it, everyone was feeling it. It was only a matter of who was finally going to say something about it. And of course, Saiki knew everyone was thinking it, but he truly didn’t think it would escalate into something intrusive.
And after the psykickers, seemingly everyone decided to speak up about it.
You were talking to Saiki before class began, and when you were invited over to talk to another friend, Kaidou and Aren appeared by the esper’s desk. “Is it true?! Are you and L/N dating?!”
“No. Get out of my face.”
“I didn’t really see it at first,” Aren thought out loud to himself, ignoring his wish. “L/N’s pretty friendly with everyone, but the two of you oddly enough make sense. You look good together!”
Saiki stared exasperatedly. Saiki respected Aren for being one of the more level headed members of his friend group, but even he was on about this?
“What are you talking about Kuboyasu? My pal’s irresistible!” And now Nendou was joining the conversation, approaching Kusuo’s desk with his hands in his pockets. “Congrats buddy! They’re a real cutie!”
“Hey! What are you gents talking about?” Hairo’s voice boomed out. Him too? Why was everyone so interested in the conversation?
“Saiki and L/N,” Kaido answered as Hairo joined the semi-circle formed around Saiki’s desk. Hairo's face lit up, immediately catching on just from the mention of your names. “Ooh! So it’s true, huh? I always suspected something! I’m happy for you both!”
“Enough! I’m not dating L/N! Where are you all getting this stupid impression from?”
“What are you talking about?! You two always come in a pair!” Kaido cried out in defense and stared at his friend incredulously.
“Yeah, everywhere you go, L/N isn’t far behind. You can’t find one without the other.” Aren added almost hesitantly as Saiki stared with his mouth forming a small “o” shape.
This came as a surprise to him. He was always so keen on living a “normal” and peaceful life, finding others a threat to this aspiration and doing his best to block them out because of it. He didn’t socialize or attempt to make friends, but apparently he could live his “normal” life with you in it. You casually followed him-- and him you-- and he found comfort in and outside of your “normalcy”-- your presence, your everyday tasks and conversation; even your uniqueness. You became a part of his normal at some point, his peace.
When did that happen?
“You bring them everywhere with you, dude. I think L/N’s the only person who can get you to come out of your shell a little.” Hairo commented with a short laugh and scrunched brows as he thought aloud.
Saiki admits that he’s more willing to try new things or do something he initially didn’t want to if you’re there with him. He trusts you, and so if you’re involved, he supposes he doesn’t mind getting involved either. Sometimes when he asked about the two of you constantly tag teaming, he’ll say something like “they wanted to come along” or “Y/N convinced me to go” and Kusuo himself is a little surprised that he never realized how that looked and sounded like to his friends, who knew him to be pretty reserved and introverted.
“Oooh! Are we talking about Saiki and L/N?” Oh no. Not…
“Teruhashi!”
“Sorry to interrupt the conversation, but I couldn’t help but overhear you boys talking about L/N! They’re always telling me about you Saiki! It’s so nice how you do so much for them!”
Does he really do a lot for you? Yes, yes he does, and Teruhashi has heard it all. You don’t talk about it excessively or ever make it seem like a brag, but it slips up so casually in conversation that even Kokomi, with all her admirers, finds it endearing how natural Saiki’s urge to take care of you is.
Trouble at work? Saiki’s on the job. He’ll get your annoying manager to stop bugging you or help you clear out the place faster after a long day. An item you casually mentioned you wanted? Knowing Saiki, he probably goes through hell and back trying to get it for you, but even so he never spends too much time indulging you in the details of how he obtained it. A classmate giving you a hard time? Saiki’s loyalty is more evident than ever. Even Teruhashi is taken aback when you share your experiences with him.
“I’m so jealous! I wish I had someone like that!” Chiyo groaned out from behind the group as Kokomi and Hairo made space for her to join the discussion.
With so many of his friends taking notice of these things, Kusuo is forced to acknowledge and reflect on them in that moment, especially when they’re suggesting something beyond friendship.
He consistently swoops in to save you from bad situations, even when you insist that you can handle yourself. And Saiki knows you can, he doesn’t always doubt you, but he tries to make it seem that way or as if you were an inconvenience. In reality, Saiki never exactly knew what urged him to help you out so much. With his other friends, everything he did felt like a one sided favor. But with you, it was something more. He was okay with taking care of you.
And he can’t help but smile when he sees how excited you are about something. Saiki’s cold demeanor sticks most of the time, but it’s typically in private or away from his friends’ prying eyes that Saiki’s shoulder relax a little and he lets himself enjoy your presence. With his responsibilities and burdens as a psychic, romance was absolutely off the table.
But maybe…
“Hey everyone! What are we talking about?”
Both the conversation and Saiki’s daydreams immediately halt as everyone turns toward the sound of your voice. You slowly approach the group with a smile on your face. “Talking about that test?”
Even Kusuo is staring dumbly at you, but before anyone could open their mouths to answer, the bell rang, signaling the beginning of class.
As the teacher called everyone to return to their seats and the group broke apart, Saiki briefly looked down and then toward you in the seat across from him, watching you unpack your supplies.
Good grief. His troublesome friends really got to him.

Translation: “I mean, it’s so obvious you have a thing for Y/N with the way you’re constantly together. How could anyone not tell from the way you’re always protecting them to always hanging around one another, though it’s definitely an odd pairing but one you two seem to make work. It’s almost like a cliche in a romance film!”
(Akechi cornered Saiki in the hallway right after class.)

WHAT'S YOUR HANDLE!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SYNOPSIS ꒱ social media/internet headcanons for the saiki k characters.
Tumblr media
CHARACTERS INCLUDED ꒱ saiki, kaidou, aren, nendou, toritsuka, hairo, teruhashi, aiura, yumehara, mera, rifuta
NOTE ꒱ i love the saiki k characters so much they’re like a fond memory.
Tumblr media
KUSUO SAIKI
• surprisingly, saiki has social media.
• private account, of course. 0 posts, 0 followers, 0 following, (12 follow requests which he will never accept).
• claims it helps him be percieved as 'average' (he's keeping tabs on his friends those nuisances that follow him around).
• enjoys baking videos! when he finds a recipe he likes, him and his mother will make it together.
• he's one of those people who use perfect punctuation and grammar whilst typing. never turned off auto-capitalisation.
• dry texter by choice, not by chance. he's less dry when he's speaking online to someone he actually likes, but not by much (by less dry, you get a sentence instead of a one-word answer).
• leaves everyone on delivered most of the time.
• tried changing his number multiple times, but someone always manages to get hold of it so he just gave up.
Tumblr media
SHUN KAIDOU
• no one wants to say it so i will. he uses wattpad.
• tried to use ao3/fanfiction.net but found it too difficult so he stuck to his roots.
• he would definetly write paragraphs upon paragraphs of the lore of the-jet-black-wings and dark reunion, as well as the origins of the power sealed within his right arm (black beat) and why it is DETRIMENTAL that this power is never unleashed or stolen by evil.
• everyone in the comments think that it's just a cool original story idea.
• absolutely inserts his friends as original characters in his lore. i might make a whole seperate post about this.
• he also uses reddit. where else is he going to get story ideas?
• has these apps pin locked and hidden in his phone, on the off-chance his mother decides to look through it.
• ABSOLUTELY plays roblox, his username is something cringe he made when he was ten (like the rest of us), refuses to change it. account is -13 for some reason.
• he has spent a lot of money on roblox. a troubling amount.
• types in lowercase, except when he's talking to his mother, then it's all punctuation and manners.
Tumblr media
AREN KUBOYASU
• still purchases burner phones even though his gangster days are over. old habits die hard.
• uses an ipad more often than not.
• plays roblox with kaidou, is a bacon hair. his messages constantly get filtered because he still doesn't realise you can't swear on roblox. warned almost everyday - on the verge of being banned.
• watches motorcycle tiktoks, it's literally all his fyp is. the comments he leaves are usually just questions relating to the specs of the bikes.
• is the member of the group that pays for netflix and disney+ and lets everyone leech off of him.
• reformed aren posts pictures of his friends and himself, it's actually a really normal page - which is his goal.
• pre-reformed aren would just post videos of him flexing, and all of his fights. there's a lot of fights.
• also: mullet pics.
• is on reddit SOLELY for the purpose of biker groups. could probably write a thesis on an single engine part. probably has. don't ask him to show you.
Tumblr media
RIKI NENDOU
• this guy BARELY knows how to operate a phone, let alone the internet.
• only really uses his phone to google stuff and talk to his buddies.
• nendou... is so bad at spelling... like... SO bad.
• half the time nobody can decipher his messages it's just that horrendous.
• uses emojis, but doesn't open the emoji tab?? so he'll type the emoji he wants and then leave the word prompt in the message?? (ex: 'ramen 🍜 after school 🏫 ?')
• made a seperate account for koriki no.2 but just uses it as his own.
• his first time posting a picture of himself one of those ⓘ - generated by ai messages was under it. THEY THINK HE’S TOO UGLY TO BE REAAALL.
• unintelligible comments left on everything he sees.
• also likes everything he sees. his fyp/explore pages are filled with nonsense. nothing makes sense.
• there are a lot of cute animal videos though - this is a recurring theme.
Tumblr media
REITA TORITSUKA
• sigh.
• falls for those ads that are like: 'horny women in the area ready to fuck'.
• REALLY?? WHERE?
• has a lot of malware downloaded without his knowledge.
• a reddit troll, there's no doubt about it. he LIVES to piss people off on that site. think colin robinson in that one episode (this is a niche reference).
• i regret to inform everyone, but before omegle shut down... he was a regular.
• probably has several failed business ideas. also has probably invested in cryptocurrency, bragged about his newfound riches, lost his newfound riches due to the market collapsing, and the cycle continues.
• says outrageous things on twitter. outrageous. one might even go as far as to say heinous.
• probably has hate pages made about him.
Tumblr media
KINESHI HAIRO
• without a doubt has a gym bro tiktok account, might be a disciple of joey swoll.
• reposts those 'before and after' gym pictures with messages of congratulations to the person - he's so sweet. >_<
• probably has a couple thousand followers, a lot of people from his local gym follow him.
• contrary to popular belief, he doesn't type with caps on all the time. keeps auto capitalisation on and uses a lot of exclamation marks though.
• is the person who created the class groupchat. and the group chat of the ENTIRE school year. he literally added EVERYONE to it.
• follows everyone? like... people don't even know how he knows everyone but he does?? (he's just really friendly).
• there's multiple videos that he's tagged in of him doing kind things for people, hairo is such a sweetheart guys.
• uses his platform to give fitness advice to people. there's a lot of motivational quotes plastered on his accounts.
Tumblr media
KOKOMI TERUHASHI
• of course teruhashi has social media, how else will she broadcast her beauty?
• she has SO many message requests, dedicates hours a day to respond to them to maintain her 'perfect pretty girl' status.
• posts once every week at a scheduled time, get's thousands of likes without fail.
• has a finsta for her close friends.
• doesn't have tiktok but somewhow still has fan accounts on there. and on every other site.
• is really into conspiracy theories, although she won't publicise this or her stance on anything either. she must remain neutral.
• her @'s and tags are mostly full of her fans taking pictures with/of her. she appreciates it, of course! but it's still strange...
• has her brother blocked (thank god).
• has numerous ootd highlights, the people eat it up everytime.
Tumblr media
MIKOTO AIURA
• chronic pinterest addict
• unironically uses yubo (she needs help)
• her instagram highlights are so fun to go through, it's messy but it's a hot mess
• posts A LOT, like multiple times a day
• consumes a lot of yoga/meditation media.
• a lot of her media intake is different subcultures of gyaru (obviously), but she's really into haute couture.
• she actually streams on twitch sometimes, mostly to do online readings for people - she also does makeup tutorials and posts fashion advice!
• has also been banned by twitch several times for bypassing terms of service. (it's not her fault that the admins are sensitive).
• her most used app is probably spotify. has ayesha erotica in most of her playlists.
• she has a seperate account for her business, she posts newly decorated crystal balls each week and does free weekly readings in order to promote herself.
Tumblr media
CHIYO YUMEHARA
• runs a semi-popular baking yt, (which saiki follows, to the knowledge of no one)
• used to post gacha life love story videos.
• might be the only person who knows about kaidous secret wattpad account (bar saiki obviously), reads everything he writes and inserts herself into his scenarios.
• types all cutesy and uses emoticons like there is no tomorrow
• 'hai hai everyone!! (^_^)' <- for example.
• buys sketchy stuff off aliexpress that promise the most ludicrous results (ex: she buys fat burning/slimming creams and expects them to give her a perfect beach body, gets confused when it gives her a rash and then buys more).
• has an etsy shop and makes custom jewellery (makes it free for her friends and leaves it in their desks with a custom note, it's very wholesome).
• her notes app is under LOCK AND KEY. that shit is more secure than the nuclear codes.
Tumblr media
CHISATO MERA
• doesn't have a phone. can't even afford gas and electric, let alone internet. is poor.
• BUT IF SHE WASN'T!!
• would join giveaways even if they're obviously fake. she's desperate.
• miraculously end up WINNING ONE?? she gets flown out to be featured in one of those obnoxious youtubers videos and comes back with a fat paycheck and ridiculously expensive electronics (which she eventually sells, probably to pay the rent).
• is a reoccurring guest on yumehara's yt channel, as a taste-tester, obviously.
• was also meant to critique the food but she rates everything a 10/10 so was not very useful.
• her most used app? let's all be honest with ourselves, it's a food delivery one.
• has the most games downloaded out of everyone, mostly to entertain her siblings when they're bored.
Tumblr media
IMU RIFUTA
• has a really cute and aesthetic tumblr - yet somewhow doesn't know what fanfiction is?
• dear god this girl uses everskies. she ABSOLUTELY uses everskies. has been banned several times.
• has so many throwaway accounts. like it breaches fifty, it's getting to be a problem.
• definitely argues with people on public forums, you can't convince me that this girl doesn't have festering anger building up inside her, arguing online is like a rage room for her.
• her phone layout is one of those aesthetic pink ones, she spent hours on it. hours.
• this girl is a MASTER stalker. has every social media under the sun, even the ones nobody has heard about in years.
• is unnervingly good at editing photos and videos.
• her alts are constantly getting suspended for harassment. has anonymously harassed saiki multiple times (he knows its her).
• everything she posts is really over-the-top with cutesy filters, like, blindingly so.

Thinking a lot about Kaido today and his whole perspective about lying/telling the truth when it comes to your loved ones.
It's interesting to me that Kaido always seems to be the first to freak out in the scenarios in which they all find out that Saiki is a psychic, or whenever they're close to finding out (actually pretty similar to his reaction to finding out Kuboyasu used to be a delinquent too). There's an obvious element to it of him feeling like he's been deceived right away even if he can rationalize it eventually and realize that maybe it doesn't really matter.
The thing is he... isn't the most honest person out there either. There's his whole deal with his chuunibyou complex, for one, though like others have pointed out, in a way that's more true to who he is than –and this is what I was specifically thinking about– how he seems to present himself to his mother.
Tumblr media
It's not that everything Kaido's mother thinks about him is completely wrong. People have different aspects to them and the vision she has of a Shun that can introduce himself easyly to people, who's sweet and obedient isn't necessarily all that wrong.
He seems to behave with his siblings in the same way he does with his friends but not with his mom. It stands out to me that she thanked Nendo and Saiki for being his friends because he's "shy", when we've seen him being everything but that. But isn't it true anyway? His whole act seems to give him the confidence to actually call attention and interact with people, but Saiki and Nendo seems to be his first friends in... well, who knows, maybe ever? (Not counting Raiden since he was more of like an older student he admired rather than a friend, I take it).
In the end both sides of who he is are partially true to who he is, but I think his more extravagant behavior is definitely him finding in it a way in which he can fit in and be himself, so it rings more true. He wants to be someone special, who belongs, someone who's well liked and brave and powerful. And in a way it works! Fake it til you make it. While he's not becoming an overpowered guy from another universe fighting against evil anytime soon, he does find courage in his act, and he ends up surrounded by people who might think he's being silly but they aren't bullying him because of his dramatics. He has a place there in which he can just be without any expectations.
He clearly does love his mom and his mom loves him, but the dynamic there is different. With the way he plays up the "polite boy who can't do no wrong" act around her and how she uses terms of such endearment with him, it feels more... contained. Kaido knows his mom expects a certain behavior from him and he wants to please her. Everything he does to indulge himself is in secrecy (again, his whole act) and it doesn't interfere with what his mom expects from him so most of the time that's not a problem, he can study at home and go to cram school and do what she expects him to do without it clashing with who he is outside of that.
Tumblr media
But he can't be honest with what he wants or who he wants to be because he knows she won't approve. He braces himself when she starts talking to Nendo and Saiki because he already knew she wouldn't like them not being studious (makes me wonder if he ever did have a friend before and she didn't approve. If so, I imagine they weren't close enough for him to protest the loss like with these two).
Kaido does seem to be smart, not top of the class smart but it's stated he usually does get good grades since he has good options to get into university and his overall ranking is good. But he doesn't really seem to have any particular passion for his studies, that's something his mom wants for him. He doesn't seem to hate it either, but if anything he seems to gravitate a little more toward creative endeavors; he got excited right away with the idea of making a manga with Kuboyasu, he was trying too hard at the art gallery but trying nonetheless, and then of course his daydreamings.
That's not something he's sharing with his mom. It feels natural for him to be embarrassed of his act in front of his mom, but I mean... it's hardly like he's embarrassed about doing that in front of the whole class, so I do get the feeling it might be in part because that has nothing to do with what he's supposed to be doing with his time, especially since Saiki mentions Kaido's mom is right and his grades have been suffering.
Overall, it's quite ironic in that sense that despite seemingly loving his mom, Kaido can't bring himself to stand up to her for his own wishes most of the time, and he's not completely truthful about the person he is in front of her. And yet the apple doesn't fall far from the tree because both of them think the exact same when it comes to their loved ones being honest to them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think perhaps that's what makes a little difference when it comes to their views; Kaido does come to accept things like Saiki being an esper and not telling him for the longest time and Kuboyasu with his delinquent past. Because while he clearly has the same ideas about a person being completely honest with you in order to have a proper positive bond with them, he hides too. There might be some truth to who he is in his chuunnibyou act in the sense of what he wants to be, but even then he's still hiding from his mom.
He's the first to freak out at the thought of being deceived by someone he cares about, but I think, at the end of the day, he does realize that honesty does matter to him, yes, but in the same way he does want to protect people even if he's terrified out of his mind and his act helps him pretend in that way, Kuboyasu earnestly trying to live in a more respectable way isn't a lie, Saiki being there for them all and being their friend isn't a lie.
On that note, this particular moment with him and Nendo is very interesting:
Tumblr media
Because here Kaido obviously was lying on purpose for April's fools and going overboard with it, but knowing Nendo trusted him about the camera incident when nobody else did? It meant a lot, and his way of sort of solidifying that trust is promising to himself that he won't lie to Nendo again.
He obviously does keep the whole Black Jet Wings persona even so, as he does around everybody, but I do think that's in part because that's not a lie to him, it's an act and a game, but in a way it is part of the kind of person he is.

♡furry feline [3]
♡pairing: saiki kusuo x f!reader
♡synopsis: saiki notices that you had a bad day, getting annoyed by your whining about how much you longed to see the neighbourhood cat, he decided to take matters into his own hands to shut you up.
♡t/w: saiki turns into a cat lol, srsly slow burn like really slow I'm warning u LOL, implied that reader cries from stress at job, sorry I forgot the colour of saiki's eyes 💀
♡link to pt1 , pt2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"please, please, please, let me see that cat again, just one pat, just one!"
yet again, it was your annoying voice ringing in kusuo's ears again. summer break is usually saiki's favourite time of the year, a break from all the people who loves to bother him so much.
however, recently, his neighbour (you) has gotten a part-time job. constantly coming home whining about how tired you were, and the worst of all, insistently praying to see the stray cats that roamed around the neighbourhood.
your feet dragged against the pavement, awfully loud against saiki's ears, you kept letting out continuous sighs as if the winds weren't loud enough. it was almost ten pm, the moonlight that shined against your skin almost made you look breath-taking. (even though saiki can't see lol and even if he did he probably would never admit it)
this wasn't the first time you came home letting out such loud complaints. even though you were the one who signed up for the job, he could tell you were tired from all the customers that you dealt with. he almost finds it humorous how you would rant to yourself excessively, retelling the story of how a customer was rude to you in an over-exaggerated manner.
today was particularly different, even though you often ranted to yourself, you would usually just laugh it off. but this time, your voice was filled with a hint of sadness. perhaps it was the accumulation of unlucky things that occurred.
you were almost reaching home passing by saiki's residence when your eyes landed on a pearl white feline that stood in the middle of the pavement. it's head adorned with two odd pink balls and emerald green glasses that sat above it's nose.
you froze in place.
'are the gods finally answering to my prayers?'
'no you idiot, its just your neighbour,' saiki thinks to himself sarcastically.
it's violet eyes that sparkled behind it glasses that seemed to stare into your soul, you stood for a moment, contemplating whether to approach the cat or not.
getting into a squatting position, you slowly waddled towards the furry feline.
'good grief, what is wrong with you..'
"can I pet you?" you whispered, waddling towards it.
'you have 5 minutes.' saiki thought to himself, yet again with his sarcastic remarks.
saiki's senses have heightened even more in his cat form, he could easily take in your subtle sweet scent of perfume as you crouched in front of him. if he were to be honest, he was curious about how you would look under the moonlight, obviously without his x-ray vision.
you reached out, letting the cat sniff your hand. it's soft fur that rubbed against your hand, your heart fluttered as you revelled in the sight of the cat pushing its furry head into your hand.
wet? he feels something wet hitting his head. the cat looks up at you, watching in shock as tears ran down your cheeks. stroking the cat gently, giving it one last pet before getting up.
you whispered a gentle thank you, before turning away, hands wiping your tears away, a stupid smile that was plastered on your face as you walked towards your house.
saiki waited a little, watching as you went through your gate. you glanced back, seeing as the cat stayed in its place. letting out a little squeal you walked into your house, steps bouncing a little.
finally, he transformed back to his human form.
'good grief, aren't you emotional..' saiki let out a scoff, walking back to his house.
"what the hell?!" it was your voice? it was you? he thought you went into your house already.
'shit.'

Sprinkle some kubosai hcs pretty please 🙏 (I love ur hcs)
im really bad at answering these and this is another ask im answering weeks later but let me try lmfaoo
lemme just give u some of the random hcs ive been thinkin about lately..
• aren has tried to convince kusuo to start doing art or writing as a way to get his feelings out (since hes so bad at communicating lmfao) but it always goes wrong.
• aren is very into scrapbooking, and scrapbooks every one of their dates. its often just a page about their time together that week, since theyre together a lot and its not always clear whats a "date" and what isnt.
• it doesnt matter how they fall asleep, aren almost always ends up on top of kusuo by the time they wake up (kusuo complains but he obviously loves feeling his weight on him).
• whenever its cold, kusuo warms himself up and gets close to aren just so he'll notice how warm he is and pull him closer. he denies that its intentional.
• aren always gives kusuo a bite of his food. ALWAYS.
• kusuo bakes for aren, but aren always insists on helping and sharing the food with him.
• aren does most of the cooking.
• kusuo makes aren watch crappy movies and play crappy games with him.
• aren insists on making kusuo play better games even if he already knows whatll happen "for the experience" (kusuo still wears his ring during it so he doesnt hear aren spoil anything he doesnt already know).
• arens favorite movies are the shrek movies, i dont know why, he isnt even really into the kind of gross humor thats in them usually, but he loves shrek and he makes kusuo watch it with him a lot.
• aren plays guitar for kusuo a lot.
• aren learns how good kusuo is with kids, and this is the most attractive thing in the world to him.
• pda... a lot of it. kusuo is averse to it at first, but he can be pretty possessive, so he ends up holding onto aren most of the time even after telling aren not to hold him in public.
• aren most frequently calls kusuo princess, my love, doll, darling, babe, etc.
• kusuo calls aren aren, 'yasu, and babe (very rarely).
• aren flirts a lot and revels in making kusuo blush, but he cant take what he dishes out... kusuo can literally just say "you look nice" and aren becomes a blushing mess.
• aren gets flirting advice from yumehara, both before and after he starts dating kusuo... i dont think i have to tell you how that goes.
• yumehara knows a lot about flower language, so now kuboyasu does too. they utilize this in kusuo plans a lot.
• everybody else gets in on trying to give aren advice about saiki too at some point, particularly imu and the psychickers.
• aren once punched kusuke straight in the face, HARD, but only because he caught him off guard. kusuo laughed harder than he has in years.
• kusuo gets along really well with arens mom, weirdly enough they have a lot in common.
• they get engaged YOUNG. like, the minute theyre both 18. they dont get married for a few years though.

more inajapan shenanigans in finland! quick edits on lq photos of train doodles, which you can see from the overall quality, haha..
no owlposting goes without culture explantion:
1st comic: soccer is "jalkapallo" in finnish, but it might be hard for japanese to pronouce correctly, due to japanese language not having the "L" sound finnish has (the L sound is tied to japanese R, which for explains how sometimes names with R in japanese are romanized with L). depending on the area, soccer can also be shortened to "jalis" or "futis" (from swedish "futbol" for soccer, I think?).
(oh! and someone mentioned in tags or somewhere that they think Endou would be good with languages? that made me think that what if Endou's good with them, but just not good at studying them? like, textbooks do him nothing, but when he's surrounded in another language, he's like a sponge and learns it like nothing on the go? I think I really like that idea!)
2nd comic: I actually drew this after watching the scenery on a 3 hour train ride - if you travel long distances here (on train or motorways), you'll see mostly forests, fields and lakes. especially up in north, there will be like swams too, but... it's pretty empty here. (I might be biased, but I personally love the scenery) ((and it was kinda freaky to visit tokyo and think that there was a looot more people than in my whole freaking country.....)
3rd comic:
sauna habits. yes, we gather a bunch of birch branches and hit each other with them. no, it actually feels good!! it's hard to hit so hard it'd hurt, the leaves feel nice and it smells good. you can also find them sold in bigger stores, right in the freezer section.
rally english: the way of pronouncing english like you pronounce finnish. it's dumb and fun and usually done by race drivers, hence the name. also to note: if you write it down, no english speaker understands, but every finn can read it (ai käänt rait it pat ai vil trai) ((if you want to hear it, here's a video. watch at least the first clip because poor timo...))
also: "voi juukelis puukelis" is literally how the finnish subs translate saiki k's "yare yare daze" and I love it so erne is gonna say it, even though I doubt no one actually says it
also also: not important but a fun fact, traditionally with summer cottages and other summer places, the sauna is a separate building. the living place is a bit further inland, and the sauna is close to the body of water. some newer cottages etc. can have another sauna in the actual building too, usually with an electric stove, instead of wood-heated ones used in the separate sauna.

Do you have any saiki k headcanons? Like how he would be before kidnapping and after?
Probably, yeah, he's honestly not too bad. Aged up but you're still in school (Y'know, 18 and all)
Yandere! Saiki K Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Manipulation, Stalking, Brainwashing mention, Reading minds, Invasive behavior, Kidnapping mentioned.
Tumblr media
Saiki, if I'm being honest, is really passive with his darling.
He hasn't really been a big one for attention.
He'd also probably deny his feelings towards you at first.
It starts really small for him.
He notices the new student in class and doesn't think much of them.
Saiki picks up little things he likes ahout you but his obsession is rather slow in nature.
He's not the best socially so he mostly uses telepathy to hone in on your thoughts.
He doesn't mean to do it on purpose at first.
Subconsciously he hones in on your thoughts like white noise.
Something about his darling puts him at ease but he isn't sure what.
Determined to figure out why he likes you, that's what starts his obsession.
He wants to interact with you but he does it subtly.
Full conversations, even with telepathy, aren't something that comes naturally to him.
Instead, he decides to show his care for you in little ways.
Stuff like altering your grades or just making your life slightly easier.
Sort of like him thanking you for making him feel... nice.
It starts as a nuisance, if people see he likes someone he's going to be disturbed.
Kokomi would make his life hell.
He makes his growing attraction hard to detect.
He prefers to keep an eye on you from a distance for the first part of his obsession.
Saiki usually keeps his feelings very subtle.
Soon he may try and talk to you on private, but that's rare.
He doesn't need anyone knowing he likes you...
He'll never hear the end of it, both in thought and voice.
Stalking comes easy to Saiki, in fact he can do it without meaning to.
Hearing your thoughts tell him a lot about you.
Saiki also has a ton of powers, so luckily he is a tame yandere.
He knows better and is very careful when it comes to you.
He carefully learns about you with curiosity, picking the brains of you and those around you to know more.
Saiki befriends you at some point and he actually feels pleasant about it.
He is definitely a yandere who takes his obsession slower and calmer than the others.
Jealousy is easily dealt with.
Saiki just needs to manipulate the people around you if he feels he wishes to isolate you to himself.
Which is why there really is no need for him to kidnap you?
He's powerful, he know brainwashing, he can change your thoughts-
He doesn't need to keep you in a dark room-
He prefers not to, anyways.
Although, if I have to say how he'd act then...
He could probably manipulate his parents and keep you in his house.
That or some other secluded location-
Saiki would also find no use in murder.
He's a yandere that could easily have you without needing to resort to illegal means to have you.
He's that powerful, luckily he knows to be careful.

Ψ . . . SAIKI’S HOMEROOM WAS CURSED. There was no other way to explain why they got so many transfer students. Saiki counted no less than six transfer students, (Toritsuka hung around so much he might as well have been part of the class) and not one of them could be considered normal. It would have been impressive if they didn’t all cause Saiki so much strife.
Saiki stared impassively ahead as the usual wave of drivel washed over him. It was the usual speculation ahead of a new student: what they might look like, how smart they were, whether they would be single. Saiki cared about none of it. All he wanted from the new transfer student was for them to be blessedly, reassuringly normal. No odd powers. No obnoxious personality. No bizarre looks. Just a regular student he could pass in the halls without triggering a catastrophe.
“Saiki, have you heard about our new transfer student?” Kaido asked. He crossed a hand over his face. “I’ve felt a disturbance in the energy levels of the universe lately. They’re a force to be reckoned with. Their powers might even be on par with mine.”
We have nothing to worry about then, Saiki thought.
“We’re getting another transfer student?” Nendo and Aren crossed over to join Kaido. “It’s pretty late in the year. I wonder where they're from?”
“I feel bad for them. How are they gonna catch up if they have to start over from the first year?” Nendo wondered.
They’re coming from another city, not another grade.
As if on cue, an onslaught of hopeful musings cascaded over Saiki.
Yumehara: I hope they’re cute. We could gush over boys together! They could help me write love notes!
Hairo: The baseball team has been looking for a new member for a while now. Maybe they’d be open to joining. But the soccer team also needs someone. And the swim team. Oh well. I’m sure I could convince them to join all three.
Mera: I’ve eaten nothing but pencil shavings and eraser bits for the past three days. I hope they can share food with me. A meat bun sounds so good right now …
Teruhashi: A new student! There’s nothing like making a first impression on someone. Like a worshipper meeting their goddess for the first time, I’ll be sure to make them fall to their knees!
Saiki’s head ached. He wished the new student would just come already, if only to get everyone to stop thinking about them.
Eventually, the classroom door slid open, and Ms. Shima strode inside.
“Please return to your seats. Our new student will be arriving shortly.”
The anticipation in the room was stifling. Saiki sighed to himself. Everyone was going to inevitably be let down by the new student, and they would all complain to Saiki about it for the next month. He didn’t know which was worse: everyone being delusional, or everyone being disappointed.
Despite himself, Saiki couldn’t help sending up his own little hope.
I hope they’re normal. Please let them be normal.
Restless minutes ticked by. Just as the room was growing rabid with excitement, a shadow fell through the door of the classroom, and the new student appeared.
“Sorry for being late, everyone. But fear not, your good-looking new transfer student has finally arrived.”
Saiki’s heart sank. He knew instantly that the student who swept into the room would not be normal.
They were lean and agile, going to stand by the teacher’s podium with a self-assured grace. Their hair was a soft white, and a pair of round tinted glasses perched rakishly on their nose. The new student smiled brilliantly when they turned to face everyone, lowering their glasses so their eyes could be seen.
A collective gasp went through the room. There was a thud as someone fainted.
The new transfer student hadn’t been lying. They were inordinately attractive.
Their eyes were the most beautiful anyone had ever seen, wells of pure, cerulean sky. As they took in the room, their eyes seemed to glimmer with their own light. Eyes to be lost in. Eyes to reflect the light of the universe.
Who just thought that? Saiki wondered. You're not Shakespeare, please calm down.
“My name is Gojo Y/N,” the new student said. “I hope you’ll take good care of me.”
“They’re so hot!” everyone squealed, and Saiki winced. Already he was getting images of proposals and marriages and babies with wide, beautiful blue eyes. Gojo grinned, posing this way and that as the class was reduced to a group of adoring fangirls.
Good grief. It hasn’t even been ten minutes.
“Settle down, please, everyone,” Ms. Shima said. She then sidled up next to Gojo, discreetly slipping them a square of paper.
“Call me later,” she whispered, and the class shouted in outrage.
Even the teacher? What have we come to?
Ms. Shima straightened her glasses as though nothing had happened. “Please find a seat, Gojo-san. We need to continue on with our lesson.”
Gojo threw the teacher a jaunty wink, then glided down the aisle to find a seat. Saiki thanked his lucky stars that all of the seats around him were occupied, although it looked as though any of his classmates would happily have sat on the ground if Gojo would only ask. Actually, half of them wouldn’t have minded Gojo sitting on their laps.
Good grief. How am I going to survive with Teruhashi and now Gojo in the same class?
Gojo passed by Saiki’s seat, paying him no special mind. The class internally seethed when the new student found their seat, revealing the lucky seatmate to be Yumehara.
Saiki narrowed his eyes in her direction. That hadn’t been her seat two minutes ago. How fickle seating charts were when a new student arrived.
Yumehara looked up at Gojo, her eyes gleaming. She was trying very hard to maintain her composure.
“Hey, cutie,” Gojo said. “Thanks for saving me a seat.”
It was too much. Blood spurted out of Yumehara’s nose, and she fell back in her seat, already halfway to the gates of heaven.
Gojo plopped down, their shoulders shaking with silent laughter. The class proceeded as usual, albeit with more wistful sighs and romantic daydreams than usual. It wasn’t too bad, all things considered, except that something about Gojo nagged the back of Saiki’s mind. He found himself thinking about it all through class, trying to pin it down.
And then, as the bell chimed and they all broke for lunch, Saiki realized.
He hadn’t been able to hear a single one of Gojo’s thoughts.
Tumblr media
Unless Gojo was extraordinarily dim or had some sort of telepathy-cancelling device, Saiki couldn't think of any reason why he wouldn't be able to hear their thoughts. Gojo seemed to be smarter than Nendo at least, and only Kusuke could limit Saiki’s abilities. So either Saiki’s abilities were acting up, or something was up with Gojo.
There were few words Saiki dreaded saying more, but drastic times called for drastic measures.
Toritsuka, I need your help.
Toritsuka stopped in his tracks and gave his purple head a decisive shake. “No.”
No?
“No! Everytime you ask that, I end up having to do something awful! Who are you going to have me impersonate next? Your grandmother?”
It's nothing like that. I just want you to look at the new transfer student’s guardian spirit.
Toritsuka perked up. “Oh, you mean Gojo? They're a hottie, aren't they? Don't tell me you've got your sights on them too.” He wiggled his eyebrows.
Saiki just stared at him. Toritsuka sighed.
“Fine, fine. I was going to check them out anyway.”
They found Gojo in the cafeteria, their table already full of adoring students. Gojo was regaling them all with some story, waving their hands about like a performer.
Toritsuka squinted in Gojo’s direction. His eyes glazed over and a dopey expression crossed his face. Then abruptly, he leapt back, nearly falling over a chair.
Saiki helped him to his feet. What is it?
“Something is up with their guardian spirit,” Toritsuka groaned, rubbing his head. “At first it was this beautiful woman in a brocade coat, the shiniest hair you'd ever seen. And then she turned around and her teeth were pitch black!”
Sounds like something from the Heian era.
“Well, if she can keep her mouth shut, I don't care what era she's from.” Toritsuka grinned.
You are an affront to your ancestors.
“Saiki!” a shrill voice called from across the cafeteria. It was a testament to Gojo’s presence that no one even glanced at Aiura bolting across the room to Saiki and Toritsuka.
“Have you seen the new transfer student?” she demanded breathlessly.
“Yeah, we checked out their freaky guardian spirit just now,” Toritsuka replied.
“Besides that and their godly good looks, have you noticed anything odd about them?”
So Saiki hadn't been imagining things.
I can't read any of their thoughts. It's strange.
“I could see their aura from out in the hallway,” Aiura said, her eyes wide.
Toritsuka made a face. “But didn’t you say everyone had an aura?”
Aiura turned to Saiki. “Did you turn off your aura?”
No.
She crossed her arms, one eyebrow raised. It took Saiki a moment to realize.
You could see Gojo’s aura through mine?
“Yes. Theirs doesn’t have as large of a radius, but I can see it through yours, no problem.”
“Is that bad?” Toritsuka asked slowly.
Saiki’s mind was whirring. Was that a bad thing? Gojo was immune to Saiki’s telepathy, had a Heian era guardian spirit, and an aura strong enough to be seen through Saiki’s. They seemed to have no problem attracting people to them, commanding their adoration with almost as much finesse as Teruhashi. None of those things on their own was a problem, but taken together, with those blue eyes …
Toritsuka and Aiura turned to each other at the same time.
“Do you think—” Aiura squeaked.
“That Gojo could be a psychic?” Toritsuka finished, horrified.
“No, no, no! That’s unacceptable!” Aiura shook her head vehemently. “We are not accepting any more members to the Psychickers!”
Stupid name aside, Saiki was inclined to agree.
“We need to end this before it starts,” Toritsuka said, a strangely menacing look crossing his face.
Aiura cracked her knuckles. “Gojo’s first day is about to be their last.”
Don’t get ahead of yourselves. We don’t even know if Gojo is a psychic.
“Better safe than sorry,” Toritsuka said, and Aiura nodded.
Saiki sighed. Of the three of them, he was the one who should have been the most concerned about Gojo. There were already too many people who knew of Saiki’s abilities; if Gojo did turn out to be a psychic, it was inevitable that they would find out too. While the thought of teleporting Gojo to a remote desert island was tempting, Saiki knew he couldn’t do it. They were already too well-liked, too admired. They had already made plans and commitments to the students here. Removing Gojo would require meddling in practically everyone’s memories, and that was a headache Saiki would rather avoid.
Let me find out if Gojo is a psychic first, Saiki told Toritsuka and Aiura. Then we can go about dealing with them.
Tumblr media
Saiki kept a close eye on Gojo for the rest of the day. They continued to be charming and amicable, throwing around their expressive hands and rakish smiles, offering glimpses of their beautiful blue eyes. Saiki could have tolerated their behaviour (since it was never directed towards him). but Gojo’s mind remained stubbornly silent. Not a single thought trickled out to Saiki the entire day. It was one less voice for Saiki to filter out, but he half-hoped he would hear something if only to prove that Gojo was just eccentric and not a psychic.
Maybe Gojo really is just as dim as Nendo. It would certainly save me the trouble.
The final bell of the day rang, and Saiki’s homeroom filed outside. Despite the multiple offers Gojo received to hang out after school, they only waved noncommittally at everyone. They waited until the room was practically empty before they slung their bookbag over their shoulder and slunk out into the hallway, hands jammed into their pockets. Saiki drew his invisibility over himself and followed a safe distance behind.
Gojo bypassed the main entrance, continuing instead deeper into the school. After they had turned the corner and continued forward a couple of feet, Gojo stopped.
“You know, I consider myself a pretty laid-back person, but even I draw the line at being stalked.”
Saiki froze. Was Gojo talking to themself?
They raised an arm and removed their glasses. Slowly, deliberately, they turned around, their eyes flashing.
“Whoever you are,” Gojo said flatly, sounding like an entirely different person, “you have five seconds to show yourself. I don’t appreciate being followed.”
There was no way Gojo could have seen Saiki. He was invisible. And yet, Gojo had no problem staring directly at him. Their eyes seemed bright enough to burn.
They tilted their head. “I wasn’t kidding. If you want me to count, I will. Five … four …”
Saiki clenched his fists. Gojo was bluffing. It didn’t matter what kind of psychic a person was, invisibility could not be seen through.
Gojo’s voice lowered so that it became edged in cool steel. “Three … two ….”
A beat. A slow smile that turned Saiki’s blood to ice.
“One.”

A Not-So-Disastrous Romance (Book 1) Chapter Fifteen
Kusuo Saiki x Reader
Chapter Fifteen: Festival Problems
Summary: As usual, things go wrong for Saiki. Luckily, he know has a companion to help him.
“A haunted house, a café, bean bag toss, a haunted house, a café, a haunted house, a café—” Nendou listed off the different class events as he, Kaidou, Saiki, (Y/N), and Kuboyasu walked by them “—Whoa, there are all sorts of things!”
“All sorts of haunted houses and cafes, you mean,” said Saiki.
“At least everyone is having fun,” said (Y/N) positively.
“Should we just pick one and enter?” suggested Kaidou.
“Yare yare.” Haunted houses are a joke to me.
“We could eat something,” said (Y/N), knowing Saiki would prefer that.
“Restaurants with food made by high school students?” said Saiki dubiously.
(Y/N) nodded to one sign and grinned. “That one has coffee jelly.”
“Well, then, let’s go to the café,” said Saiki, instantly on board.
“Oh, yeah, that haunted house café!” said Nendou excitedly, pointing at the wrong café.
            “No,” said Saiki.
“They shouldn’t combine the two!” exclaimed Kaidou. “I don’t want to look at ghosts while drinking my coffee.”
“That wasn’t scary at all,” scoffed a boy from a different school, standing next to his friend outside of one haunted house. “They said, ‘I’m gonna get you.’ How stupid.”
“PK’s stuff is crap,” agreed his friend.
            “Who’re those guys?” wondered Nendou.
“They’re from another school,” said (Y/N), frowning and watching them go into another haunted house.
“I’m gonna check that one out,” said Kuboyasu. He smiled at the group, but it was tight-lipped and slightly menacing. “I get a kick out of scary stuff. I think this one’s gonna be scarier.”
            “For them,” murmured (Y/N).
“They brought it onto themselves,” said Saiki. Karma wasn’t his problem.
Sure enough, a few moments after Kuboyasu walked in, two screams went up from within the haunted house.
“Whoa! They’re really screaming,” exclaimed Nendou. “Just how scary is that place?”
“Well, then, shall we go in here, too?” suggested Kaidou, pulling aside the curtain.
“I want coffee jelly,” said Saiki.
“We’ll get it after,” said (Y/N) encouragingly, and Saiki couldn’t exactly say no to that, so he followed them into the haunted house.
“It’s so dark that I can’t see anything,” exclaimed Kaidou, shaking slightly as they walked farther in.
I can see everything clearly, even the guy waiting to ambush us.
“Hey, get going,” said Kaidou, pushing Nendou forward nervously.
“Hm? You’re the one who wanted to walk in first,” said Nendou.
“I’ll lead,” said (Y/N), squaring their shoulders and walking forward.
Instantly, someone grabbed their ankle, and (Y/N) jumped, yelping in surprise. (Now that was just an unfair tactic, who wouldn’t be shocked at that?) Poor Kaidou screamed at their reaction, got breathed on strangely, and saw the exit sign—all of which terrified him until eh was basically clinging to Nendou as they walked onward.
“Come on, we’re going ahead,” said Nendou, unaffected.
“I think I’ll enjoy this from back here with you, Kusuo,” said (Y/N), sighing.
“You found this scary?” said Saiki.
“If someone grabs your ankle in the dark, you jump,” said (Y/N) sagely.
“Boo!” A boy jumped out at them, right in front of Nendou.
            “Hey,” said Nendou.
The boy collapsed, unconscious due to the frightful sight of Nendou’s face.
“Whoa, that was realistic,” said Nendou.
“Because it was real,” said Saiki.
“Even I’d faint if I suddenly saw that face of yours up close in the dark,” said Kaidou.
“Uh-oh,” said (Y/N), kneeling and feeling the boy’s pulse. They gave a thumbs-up. “He’s alright.”
“What are you going to do?!” cried Kaidou, staring at Nendou. “It’ll be ruined for the next customer—”
“Ah, scary! It’s so dark!” said someone from behind them. Too late, the customers were coming.
“Shoot! Let’s hide this guy first,” said Kaidou, trying to drag the boy’s body to the side.
“I’ve never hidden a body before,” said (Y/N).
“We are not doing that,” said Saiki.
“Hey, look at these things.” Nendou laughed as he put on fake glasses that made it seem like his eyes were falling out.
“Perfect! Put them on!” said Kaidou, grabbing bandages for himself and throwing fake blood over Saiki. (Y/N) grabbed a zombie mask. “Here they come,” said Kaidou. He crouched and leapt out. “Boo!”
A face exactly like Nendou’s stared at him, and Kaidou collapsed in shock.
“Oh, Mom,” said Nendou, greeting her while his friend lay unconscious on the ground.
What a family resemblance, thought (Y/N).
l
“One Nendou…Two Nendous…” murmured Kaidou deliriously on a bench.
The group stood outside of the cafes and haunted house to talk properly instead of being in the dark (though the students had yet to take off their costumes). It turned out Nendou’s mother was there touring the PK Festival with Saiki’s parents, so they were there, too.
“You should’ve told me if you were gonna come,” said Nendou.
“I’m just stopping by because I’m on break,” said Mrs. Nendou.
“We happened to run into Nendou’s mother and became friends!” said Mrs. Saiki cheerily.
This is one friendship I wish you wouldn’t make.
“Well, now that I’ve seen your class’s attraction, I’m going home,” said Mrs. Nendou matter-of-factly. “Good luck with your haunted house.”
“Hm? We’re not doing a haunted house,” said Nendou.
“Oh, yeah, we’re borrowing these,” said (Y/N), taking off their zombie mask and setting it to the side.
“What, you aren’t?” said Mrs. Nendou.
“Our class is displaying rocks we found in the schoolyard,” said Nendou.
Saiki sighed. “I’ll go wash my face.” He didn’t need to walk around looking like an idiot.
He headed into the bathroom and set his glasses to the side while he washed the fake blood from his face.
Yare yare. This is why school events are such a pain. Lots of minor characters keep showing up and causing trouble for me. And I didn’t manage to go and get coffee jelly with (Y/N) yet, either. This all happened for nothing.
He finished splashing his face with water and straightened, picking up his glasses. Except when he put them on, he found fake eyeballs instead of green-tinted glass.
            What the heck is this?
“What do you think, pal? They look good on me, don’t they?” said Nendou, resting Saiki’s glasses in front of his own face.
“Give those back to me, you idiot,” said Saiki, reaching out. His eyes widened, and he tried to cover his eyes. “Shoot!” He couldn’t help but exclaim out loud with his telepathy.
Too late. As Saiki looked up again, Nendou was already a stone statue, transformed by Saiki’s unfiltered gaze. The stone glasses fell and shattered on the floor. Saiki just stared. Not good.
“Kusuo?” Outside of the restroom, (Y/N) called out in concern. “I heard you cry out, is everything alright?”
They always become observant at the wrong moment.
            “Kusuo, I’m coming in!”
Yare yare, not my dad, too.
Sure enough, Mr. Saiki nearly kicked down the door, and (Y/N) slid in with them, unable to stay out since they were worried (and there was no one else around, so…).
“Ah!” cried Mr. Saiki as he saw Nendou.
Saiki had turned around to avoid eye-contact with anyone. The last thing he needed was more people getting turned to stone.
“Hey, this is—” Mr. Saiki cut himself off and looked at (Y/N) worriedly.
“Did you accidentally turn Nendou to stone?” said (Y/N), staring.
“He took my glasses and looked me in my eyes. That’s his fault,” said Saiki.
“Kusuo, you can’t just say that!” said Mr. Saiki.
            “They know.”
            “I know,” said (Y/N).
“About his powers?” said Mr. Saiki, blinking in surprise. (Y/N) nodded. “Oh…alright then.”
“Can we focus?” said Saiki, irritated. “Just give me your glasses.” Mr. Saiki’s glasses floated through the air and landed on Saiki’s face. Now he could look at people without turning people to stone. “Okay, that power is blocked.”
“I like your eyes,” blurted out (Y/N) instinctively as they saw Saiki’s purple eyes properly. They had always been obscured by a green tint, but they could see the violet clearly now.
Saiki short-circuited and froze at the compliment while Mr. Saiki babbled about not being able to see without his glasses.
Turning pink, (Y/N) coughed. “So, uh, how do we turn him back?”
Saiki tried to focus. “The effects last twenty-four hours.”
“Uh-oh, his mom is waiting for him outside,” said (Y/N), frowning.
“Oh, no, what are you going to do, Kusuo?” said Mr. Saiki, blindly patting Nendou’s shoulder.
“You’re talking to Nendou. Don’t ever make that mistake again. It ticks me off,” said Saiki.
“Can you teleport him back to your house?” suggested (Y/N). “Then we can at least make an excuse that Nendou left instead of anyone seeing them.”
Saiki was reminded of one of the reasons he liked (Y/N): they were actually helpful.
“Are you listening, Kusuo?” said Mr. Saiki, still patting Nendou’s shoulder.
            Crack
(Y/N) and Saiki froze before turning. Nendou lay in stone pieces on the ground. (Y/N) covered their mouth in shock, and Mr. Saiki was stricken.
“Kusuo…Look after your mother, okay?” He raised his phone. “Hello? Is this the police? I’ve killed someone.”
Saiki grabbed his dad’s shoulder before his sobbing could actually be listened to. “Calm down.” (Y/N) took the phone and ended the call. “You don’t have to go the police. It’s fine.”
            “What?! Really?!” cried Mr. Saiki.
            Saiki picked up Nendou’s head.
            “That’s just a disturbing sight,” said (Y/N).
“I can turn back time and restore it to how it was,” said Saiki, doing so and letting the statue of Nendou come together once more. (Y/N) breathed a sigh of relief.
            “Whoa!” exclaimed Mr. Saiki.
“What was that noise?!” Mrs. Nendou banged on the door from outside.
“Shoot, Nendou’s mother is gonna come in,” said Saiki. “Dad, go hold the door.”
“Okay!” Mr. Saiki grabbed the door handle and gave a thumbs-up.
            Wham!
“Ooooh.” (Y/N) winced as Mr. Saiki was thrown into the wall as Mrs. Nendou broke down the door.
“What happened, you guys?!” cried Mrs. Nendou. She saw the statue. “Huh? What? What?! Riki?!”
(Y/N) and Saiki exchanged a glance as she walked closer. Then, she patted Nendou’s shoulders.
“This is amazing! So this is the rock display you guys were talking about!” she exclaimed. “This looks exactly like my son.”
“Well, I guess this is natural,” said Saiki.
            “They’re definitely related,” said (Y/N).
“Riki? Huh, where did Riki go?” wondered Mrs. Nendou.
“Well…probably the restroom,” said Mr. Saiki.
“We’re in the restroom,” said Saiki, amazed by his father’s terrible attempt at lying.
“He headed out to check on some other classes. He volunteered to help them earlier in the week since some people are sick,” said (Y/N), smiling.
“Oh, really? That’s so nice of him,” said Mrs. Nendou.
Thank you, (Y/N), thought Saiki, thankful as always to have them around.
“Well, I should help out, too, and give you all a hand,” said Mrs. Nendou.
            “What?”
            “Huh?”
“You’re taking this to your classroom, right?” said Mrs. Nendou, gesturing to the statue of Nendou. “Now, let’s go!”
No one could argue with her, and within a few minutes, Nendou was situated in Class 3’s display. People instantly crowded around it, amazed and surprised at the exact likeness.
            “H-Holy crap,” said one student.
            “Why Nendou?” exclaimed another.
“How did they carve something like this?”
“Things have gotten worse,” said Saiki as he, Mr. Saiki, and (Y/N) stood to the side. “It’s so obvious that high school students couldn’t make something like that.”
“Maybe they won’t notice?” (Y/N) offered as much support as they could.
“Oh, what is this?” The principal walked in. “Oh, my!” He stared at the statue, and (Y/N) and Saiki’s hearts dropped. This situation was quickly growing out of control. “This is an incredibly elaborate stone statue! Is it a gorilla?”
“Very close, but not quite,” said Saiki.
            Poor Nendou, thought (Y/N).
“I’m so moved…” The headmaster smiled. “The Best Class Attraction Award goes to Class 3!” he declared.
(Y/N) and Saiki stared in dismayed shock as even more people crowded into the room to get a look at the winning class’s display and the Nendou statue. They really had lost any semblance of control of the situation.
“It’s become the showpiece,” said Saiki, crossing his arms.
“This isn’t good, Kusuo!” cried Mr. Saiki. “Can’t you teleport it out and steal it?!”
“There’re too many people,” said (Y/N), frowning.
“Or better yet, should we break it? You can restore it just like you did earlier!” said Mr. Saiki.
“My power to turn back time can only be used once per day per target,” said Saiki.
“What?” said Mr. Saiki, panicking. “But that means—”
“Let’s make sure it doesn’t break again, then,” said (Y/N), concerned about Nendou getting hurt.
“Whoa, I wonder how tough the stone is,” said one boy, pretending to hit the statue.
“It’s really hard,” said another, pulling on Nendou’s ear.
“Don’t touch!” cried Mr. Saiki, running up and pulling them off.
“Huh? Whoa, what’s with this guy?!” cried the first boy.
“A scary middle-aged man is shouting,” whispered a girl worriedly.
            “He’s suspicious!”
            “Someone, go get a teacher!”
Saiki facepalmed, and (Y/N)’s eyes widened, but neither could exactly stop the teachers from dragging Mr. Saiki out. After all, they couldn’t just explain “oh, yeah, that is actually Nendou, Saiki turned him to stone, so please don’t hurt him.”
“I guess I have no choice. I’ll make Nendou’s safety my top priority,” said Saiki.
“He is your friend,” added (Y/N).
“Don’t say that, I don’t have friends. Other than you,” said Saiki.
            (Y/N) just grinned. “Uh-huh.”
“Take this, Baron Cola!” A young boy had climbed onto Nendou’s shoulders and was pretending to shoot him with a toy gun.
“Get down, Yuuta,” said Saiki, stepping forward.
Yuuta brightened upon seeing his neighbor (and, in his mind, favorite superhero). “Cyborg Cider-man No. 2! Look, look! I capture Baron Cola.”
“No, that’s a gorilla, so get off,” said Saiki.
(Y/N) didn’t ask what that all meant, but they reached up as Yuuta began to rock Nendou back and forth.
“You can’t climb on exhibits,” said (Y/N) calmly, setting him down.
“But it’s Baron Cola!” exclaimed Yuuta.
“It’s not the real Baron Cola,” said (Y/N). They put their hands on their hips. “Do you understand?”
Yuuta stared up at them, and Saiki nearly groaned as the image of a superhero in pink superimposed on (Y/N).
            Yare yare, not them too.
“I understand, Cherry Blossom Lemonade!” cheered Yuuta.
(Y/N) cocked their head and blinked at Saiki. “Who?”
“A superhero from a show he likes,” said Saiki.
“Are you two undercover, Cherry Blossom Lemonade, Cyborg Cider-man No. 2?! Is that why you’re being nice to Baron Cola? Are you on a date?” babbled Yuuta.
Saiki froze, and (Y/N)’s cheeks warmed.
“Yuuta, there you are,” said his mother, walking in. “I’ve been looking everywhere for you. It’s time to go.”
“Aww, but I just managed to find the bad guy,” said Yuuta.
His mother chuckled. “I’m sure you did.” She took him by the hand and led him out.
“You called her, didn’t you?” said (Y/N), looking at Saiki.
“Yes,” said Saiki. He had called Yuuta’s mom with his telepathy, but although it had mostly been to keep Yuuta from hurting Nendou, it was also to avoid more of Yuuta’s questions. Him and (Y/N), on a date? Saiki had barely gotten over figuring out he had a crush on them. That was too much for him with so much else going on.
“Well, the festival is almost over,” said (Y/N), glancing at the clock and trying to push aside Yuuta’s assumptions (and their blush). “I don’t think we’ll be able to taste our classmates’ coffee jelly, but I think we’ve earned a trip to Café Mami after this.”
Okay, so maybe a date—which this wasn’t—with (Y/N) was something Saiki would get excited for.
l
(Y/N) and Saiki both let out a content hum as they took a bite of their coffee jellies. They had successfully kept Nendou in one piece and teleported him to his bathroom at home so, come tomorrow, he’d transform back like nothing had happened.
“I’m glad Nendou will be alright,” said (Y/N).
“I’m glad we avoided more trouble,” said Saiki.
(Y/N) nodded. “What about your glasses? Are you going to keep borrowing your dads’ or can you get yours fixed?”
“I can get mine fixed,” said Saiki, but, unfortunately, that would mean dealing with a certain someone.
“Are you going to go back to the green tint?” said (Y/N).
            Saiki nodded.
“Too bad,” said (Y/N), smiling. “I like your eyes.”
Saiki felt his heart stutter, and (Y/N) looked firmly down at their coffee jelly in order to not over-analyze his reaction in case they had just made a fool of themself. Still, they couldn’t help it. They did like his eyes. They liked everything about Saiki.
For his part, Saiki found he liked the compliment. Appearances weren’t something he cared about or judged since, for the most part, he just saw people as bones or muscle, but hearing that (Y/N) liked something about him was nice. He wanted them to like him, too.
But for now, (Y/N) and Saiki were content to sit across from each other in content silence with coffee jelly. Still, though, thoughts of how much nicer it would be if this was a date flitted through their mind.

Like the reader is a transfer student who kinda acts the same as him, like their very quiet, seems emotionless most of the time and doesn’t smile often but their really sweet and is probably the one who nags him the least (and buys him jelly coffe :3) idk just some cute shit i thought of, you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to!
ive never written a platonic kind of thing but im all up for a challenge! :)

Fandom: The Disastrous Life of Saiki K
Character: Kusuo Saiki
platonic
Just Like Me
Today was (M/n)'s first day at PK Academy. Any normal person would be scared or even excited but (M/n)? He was neutral. Didn't hate it but didn't love it either. And now here he was walking into the gates of his new school. In class, there were a bunch of people talking about yet another new transfer student. The teacher walked in, silencing the chatter. "Alright class, we have a transfer student. I expect you to treat them with respect. You may come in." The (h/c) haired male walked in. "Hello, im (M/n) (L/n)." He then walked straight to an empty seat, Not even waiting for the teacher to tell him where to sit. 'He seems.. normal' a certain pink haired male thought.
Tumblr media
It has now been some time after the (h/c) haired male transferred to PK Academy and needless to say, Saiki wasn't annoyed by this new student. The other ones... well that's different. But so was (M/n). He wasn't loud or obnoxious or anything. He was calm, normal, and quiet. Although, because of this some people describe him as boring or even at times, emotionless. But not with Saiki. When (M/n) is with Saiki he is something different. A sweet, kind, fun person. Someone who can be fun without having to yell. Him and Saiki are usually seen together at cafes or even sweet shops. The first time they went Saiki ordered some coffee jelly. (M/n), not having heard of or seen coffee in jelly form, was curious as to what it is. "Hey Saiki, what does coffee jelly taste like? I've never had it." The pink haired male looked up at the (h/c) colored male then back to his coffee jelly. He slid one cup of coffee jelly towards the boy, "Try it. It's good." (M/n) took a bite and enjoyed the jelly treat. He bought Saiki some more as a thanks. As they were walking home (M/n) said something, "Hey Saiki, aren't you glad you finally have a normal friend? Haha" This made the pink haired boy stop for a second. 'He thinks we're friends.. I'm.. glad' "Mhm".

Anyone still in this fandom?? Anyone?! I hope so, because I adore this anime so much!! Apart from the inappropriate jokes, I really love the plot and how comedic this anime is!! I barely see any comedy anime's that are actually good, but this show LITERALLY has me on the floor.
I still need to finish season 2 and get on with season 3 🥹
This is more so a comedy fanfic than a tkl fanfic, but bro still gets tickled, so 🤷‍♂️
Summary:
Kaido and Aren both drag Saiki along to the mall to have their photos taken as a fun way to get out of the house. What sucks for them is that Saiki is having a hard time participating smiling for the camera.
Warning:
| tickling | claustrophobia descriptions |
Enjoy!

'Nothing like reading a comic on a clear Saturday evening to bring this peaceful evening together.. ' Saiki thought to himself. He held up an action comic that he had for years, untouched until this day. His dad bought him this comic when he was 14 for him to read, but Saiki had never gotten around to actually reading it because he thought it was something more of what his dad liked than himself. He proved himself wrong however, because he is now in the middle of reading chapter seven. He was nearly at the end of the comic while hoping that it would not leave off with a cliffhanger.
It explained the main character fighting this villain who just got done with its sappy story of how no one cares for his personality and likeability. 'ppt.. How pathetic, you chose to be a villain.' Saiki thought. Though, he can also understand why the character turned out to be a cold hard villain in the first place. I mean, who WOULDN'T understand one's backstory?
As he continued to read, he felt his telepathic senses tell him that someone was coming up to his door. Saiki scoffed at who it could be this time since everyone kept bothering him before picking up the comic.
"Hey, Kusuo? It's your dad.. There's people outside for you. They're wanting to know if you could go visit the mall real fast." The voice from the other side of Saiki's door could be faintly heard.
'What a bother. I finally chose a day to relax, and this is how the world treats my day off?' Saiki, once again, had thought to himself. He was irritated. Not only did he just finish the book that unsurprisingly left off with a cliffhanger, he now has to deal with what he assumed were two idiots who wanted to drag him along to the mall, and for what?!
'This could be a good time to search for the two other comics.. I mean, dad did only buy one of the other three.'
Saiki had to think about it for a moment longer. If he stays home, he could enjoy the peace and quiet for the first time in like, forever for the poor soul. But if he pushed himself to be dragged around by two fools who have no idea what it's like to favor time with being alone, he could find those two other comics that he desperately wants.. No.. Needs!
At the speed of light, Saiki got dressed in a casual, but yet a usual set of clothing. He looked around his room one last time to make sure he's not forgetting anything; not like he needs anything other than his wallet and cellphone. He did however, catch a glimpse of his Germanium ring that was sat neatly on his dresser, untouched.
He stared at the ring for a good minute or two before deciding that he should probably wear it in case of hearing unwanted spoilers for his comic that he is starting to realize, but won't admit to, to be obsessing over.
He walked out of his room once he had put the ring on, and headed for the front door rather excitedly than usual.
"Oh! Kusuo, deary! You're rather excited. Anything particular happen? You're not hanging out with some girl.. Are you?" Saiki heard his mother and her overly sweet, yet invasive tone, and stopped in his tracks to look at her with a deadpanned face.
'Welp, the excitement is gone now, thanks Mom.'
"What? Don't look at me like that sweetie, I'm only asking!" Kurumi said while walking up to the door to block it. She wasn't going to let him go until he tells the truth. It's not like he wanted to go or anything.
"I'm going out to get two other comic books that I started reading, now let me pass." Saiki kept it truthful, but left out crucial details to savor any more bombardening questions.
"Uh-huh? So when I open this door-" Kurumi started to say, going for the knob.
"Wait, don't open that door! You won't get off my back if you! -" Saiki reached out his hand to try and stop his mom from opening the front door, but missed by a millisecond, as she opened the door to show two patient students out front. 'Great, this is going to be a long day of parenting 101 questions..'
"Oh! Hi Mrs. Saiki! I hope we're not much of a bother, but we're just gonna empty your hands by taking your son with us to the mall to snap a few pictures for memories!" Aren, who was the first to speak, reassured Saiki's mother on instinct. Aren assumed that Saiki's mom was rather irritated given that her face looked like it was about to fly off her silhouette of a head. Too specific??
"Oh.. Oh! Ahaha, I should have known! My apologies, kuboyasu! You boys have fun, I don't want to keep you guys here any longer!" Kurumi placed her hands on Saiki's shoulders to gesture him out the door. She waved a goodbye to all three of them, and closed the door gently.
It was a good day to not hear the mopes of his own mother during this time. Because right now, she's probably thinking of how much her child has grown up to be hanging out with other people for once..
﹏﹏﹏
As the three walked together to the mall, Aren and Kaido were rambling like usual. Saiki instinctly followed behind so he knows that those two won't wonder off somewhere without his telepathic powers to notice.
'I guess this is babysitting but for the rookies.. I don't have my powers so it's going to be very tough to predict their thoughts and movements with this ring. It's a good thing that I don't actually have to talk though.' Saiki thought to himself.
"So! Saiki, I was quite surprised that you accepted our invitation on this journey. I thought you would say no and go read or something that you usually do." Aren blurted out.
'Well, there goes that assumption.. I was reading until the book left me with a cliffhanger..' Saiki thought once again.
Aren then walked a bit slower to get to Saiki's pace.
'What does he want now?'
"Is there any particular reason why you accepted to come with us to the mall?" Aren said, looking at Saiki with interest.
Saiki cursed at himself for not bringing the comic book with him to just show it to his classmate, but this is what he gets when accepting plans that he didn't want to participate in the first place.
"Just came for a couple of comic books.." Saiki said without glancing at Aren. It's unlike of Saiki to us his actual voice to speak, but he had no other choice so he just rolled with it, hoping for the best.
"..Huh. So you didn't want to take a photo with us?" Kaido budded in, slowing down to get on the same pace as the other two now.
Saiki only shook his head this time. He really didn't have time to enlight in conversation.
"Well, TOO BAD! because look!" Kaido linked arms with Saiki, surprisingly enough for him, and pointed at the mall in front of them.
"We're going in there to have our pictures taken, and we brought you along to join with! So let's go!" Kaido then sprinted, with Saiki being dragged, into the mall.
'What a p-pain.!' Ow. The grip that Kaido had on his upper arm was really getting to him. Who would have thought that the grip of a usually weak boy could do this much pain?
The mall was pretty huge for Saiki. He rarely goes to the mall, so anytime he does arrive he's always wondering if the building somehow got bigger. Who would of thought? Sometimes renovations can happen even for huge malls like the one that these two students dragged him along to.
As they got inside, Saiki started to look for a book store that might have obtained his comics. He saw clothing stores, shoe stores, food stands, jewelry stores, toy stores, but no book stores to be seen. It's not like this mall has a second story anyway?
"Hey look! The photobooth is right there, c'mon guys!" Kaido said. He started to run, not even realizing that he still had a death grip on Saiki, and he pulled him along with.
Saiki let out a gasp and a cough at the same time due to not realizing the grip as well, and because of how painful the pull was, but he managed.
Eventually, all three of them arrived at the photobooth, going in one by one. Kaido went in first, the boy to be the most excited for these photos, leaving Saiki to be uncomfortablely in the middle, and Aren coming in last. It was a tight squeeze, but they all managed to sit on the seat. It was fortunate that they were all in frame of the camera.
"Alright guys, I'll pay! The first set of photos we're going to pose all handsome and hot, the second photo is going to be a funny picture, and the third photo, we're going to make scary faces!" Kaido said quickly.
'Yeah, like I'm doing any of what you just requested. A normal blank face is all I'm really up for.' Saiki thought.
"Can't we just pose like normal? I don't think the first one is really necessary." Aren chimed in.
'The first and probably last time I will ever agree with you, Aren.'
"Fine fine, it's whatever! You guys do what you want, but I'm at least getting a smile from you two!" Kaido gave both Saiki and Aren a glance before pitching in his two dollars for photos.
As the booth counted down from 5, Kaido did what he requested earlier and went for a "hot" pose, while Saiki and Aren went for the 'peace sign' pose. Saiki had a blank face and as for Aren, he held up two 'peace signs' with a small smile and a wink.

The booth made a clicking sound and showed the results on the screen infront of them.
It was at that moment that Saiki got scared with what the photo will show. 'Dammit! I forgot that any photo taken of me with these booths won't actually show my silhouette, making it seem like anyone who has ever took a photo with me in any booth, my mom and dad for example, will have them gasp and then do a double take with paled faces.. If they find out that I have psychic powers, it's over for me-'
"That's perfect! Saiki, could you express more with your face? Your blank stare is scary looking." Kaido blurted out, pointing at saiki's blank expression that was giftedly shown in the photo.
He blankly stared at the photo, seeing none other than him sitting in the middle with his pose. And then he looked at his germanium ring. 'Oh.. I forgot I had you on, you almost scared me half to death.' he then looked back up to Kaido and gave him a shoulder shrug. No way is he expressing more than just a stare to scare off any child who dares to look at someone else.
"C'mon Saiki! It will be once in a life time that we get 'high school Saiki' smiling for a photo! Do you know how rare that would be to us?!" Kaido all but begged to Saiki now, holding onto the psychic's leg.
'What a bother.' Saiki rolled his eyes and waved away Kaido's hands that were practically glued to his leg.
"Fine then, if you won't smile for the picture then have it your way." Kaido said, crossing his arms in a dramatic way whole pouting like a five year old.
'Like that's going to make me smile? You're at a loss pal.' Saiki just stared back at the camera, already assuming that it was going to count down soon.
5..
4..
As the booth counted down for a second time, Kaido went ahead and did a funny lookin' face that looked like it was aimed for Saiki to try and get him to crack a smile, but it was no use since Saiki didn't glace at him once, but Kaido still kept the pose for the picture.
Aren did a funny face as well, having both of his fingers to stretch out his mouth a bit, and had his eyes crossed inwards to look at the bridge of his nose. Unlike of Aren, but nonetheless, Kaido was going to be pleased with it.
And again, Saiki held a straight face for the camera, already knowing those two are wanting to get a reaction from the boy. He wasn't going to let that happen.

The booth clicked on time to get a photo of the three. Kaido reached out for the photos to see how Saiki didn't lift up any corner of his mouth to make a slight smile.
"You've got to be kidding me! Saiki~ why can't you just smile for once in your life? this is just sad man!" Kaido whined to Saiki, shaking the boy by the shoulder.
'I'm not going to let in on your games, Kaido. I came here for a specific reason.' Saiki thought. He stared at the camera, not wanting to look at either of the boys. Unfortunately for him, however, Kaido had a mischievous plan to get Saiki to smile. He's never done anything like it before with Saiki; sure, he's done it with many of his friends, but Saiki? That boy is too stoic for his own reputation to get what's coming to him. Poor dude can't even sense what's about to happen because of the germanium ring, and yet Saiki is congratulating himself for putting it on to block out any and all thoughts around him.
"Okay guys, let's all smile like we mean it!" Kaido said, putting on an innocent smile for the camera. He swung his arm around Saiki's shoulder, having his hand rest just below his collarbone in a respective manner.
Aren then made a peace sign with his hand that was closest to Saiki, and held it up behind Saiki's head just enough for the camera to get it in; all the while tilting his head a bit towards Saiki, and smiled sweetly.
Saiki didn't think much of what they were doing, though. He had thought that Kaido tried to just urge Saiki to try and smile for the camera, but he wasn't going to let up on the act. And as for Aren? It's a weak move to try and gain any reaction over. He just kept a straight face with no interest whatsoever. How regretful he was going to be after making that decision..
"C'mon Saiki, smile~" Kaido sang, putting pressure with his fingers just below Saiki's collarbone. He didn't get a dramatic reaction from Saiki, but he did see how Saiki's eye had twitched from the on going touch.
'This is no funny business, Kaido. What are you doing?!' Saiki had thought. He tried to move his shoulder to dislodge the boy's hand, but he soon realized that Kaido wasn't going to let up until he smiled for the camera. 'What a bother..'
Aren saw what was happening when glancing over, and decided that he wanted to join in as well. He lowered his peace sign hand to now bring attention to the back of Saiki's neck to scribble the two fingers gently. This caused Saiki to twitch his head back just slightly before going back to his usual pose.
"C'mon Saiki! We know you want to~" Aren Dragged out, now moving his hand to the side of his neck with a bit more pressure than before.
"Y-you've got to be kidding me.." He whispered just enough for them to hear. He lowered his head down a bit, trying everything in his power to not make it seem like it's bothering him. If he ruined his "normal boring student" reputation, it's all over for him. I mean, who gets taken down by just a few tickles?
"Saiki~ the camera is about to count down; you better start smiling or we might never stop." Kaido said. He reached his other hand to squeeze at Saiki's side, which caused an embarrassing gasp from Saiki.
He grabbed at Kaido's torturing hand, and tried to pry it off his side, but Aren thought faster and grabbed at Saiki's bombarding hand to cease any escape. It was no use for poor Saiki, and he knew it.

'Good.' Saiki thought. 'If I just wait until the count down is over with a straight face then it will be all over.'
Well.. It was until Kaido decided that he was bored at squeezing his side and just reached for Saiki's armpit that Aren was closest to, thanks to him for pulling at Saiki's arm to reveal his vulnerability.
"AH-aha!" Saiki immediately ducked his head down, desperately trying to get his arm free as Kaido dug into his underarm. Saiki replayed the word 'embarrassing' in his head over and over again.
Kaido looked at Aren with a surprised, but hopeful face when hearing Saiki blurt out a laugh. "Saiki~ was that a laugh we just heard? Do it again, but look at the camera this time!" Kaido said, using his other hand to try and lift Saiki's head up. They just wanted his face in the camera, nothing more.. They were desperate to know how he looked when smiling, let's be real.
"F-fuhuck off!.." was all Saiki could say before he fought the accusing hand that was lifting his head up; he bit his lip to quit from laughing out loud and loosing his reputation. It's just two people Saiki, come on now, bud.
"Surely Saiki has a weak spot somewhere! We just have to find it in time before the timer goes off." Aren said while sneakily moving his hand away from his neck and now down to where his bottom set of ribs were. This made Saiki violently flinch away from the touch, and decided to us his free hand to grab at Aren's wrist to try and pull it away, but it was no use.
You know.. For how long this was going for, they all were surprised that the booth had stopped counting from 4.. Oh well! More fun for Kaido and Aren, at least. Not so fun for Saiki though, because he was desperately trying to keep his child-like giggles on a down low.. His bottom ribs weren't his weakest spot, but it still held some sort of sensitivity for the young boy to squirm a bit in his seat.
Saiki had pushed himself closer to Kaido to get away from Aren's hand, but he followed the poor psychic.
"Why can't you just smile for the picture?! That's all we want." Kaido urged to Saiki, digging a bit deeper in his armpit now. This earned him a surprised squeal and an inch closer of Saiki, who was trying to not push himself into Kaido, but it was hard to do so since both of them were attacking one side at once.
Saiki all but shrinked in on himself as well. All this tickling was a new feeling to say the least. He's been tickled before, yes. Many times actually; his parents always used to tickle him when he was a kid, and they always went for his weakest spot since discovering that his psychic powers limited his sense of sensitivity except for that specific spot. But ever since he's gained control of his powers, he knew when they were about to strike, and so he used his powers to get away from their daily tickle attacks until they became subtle. But right now? He's in ticklish agony! He's never felt more skiddish and childish ever since he was a kid until now. It felt weird to him, but surprisingly, he didn't quite mind the affection.
To be quite honest, he misses the affection. He was touched starved for sure, but he never realized he was until he put on that germanium ring. It was all new to him. It was overwhelming, sure, but it was definitely a new experience to have his touched starved thoughts be lifted away by a few tickles by his classmates.. Classmates. It makes sense for family to do it, but for classmates? Saiki was confused by it. It was all so new-too new. He was confused on why he was letting himself shrink to be this tiny version of himself just to get away from the touch. Why he felt the need to come into contact with Kaido so much when he desperately doesn't want to make the situation weird because he's usually not the touchy, or "clingy" type, from what he thought of it at first. In fact, He was more so confused on why he was letting himself finally laugh out loud with ease to his classmates for them two hear clearly now..
"Ahahah! Nohohot theehehere! Nohohoh! Stahahahap, AH-Ahahahah!" Saiki giggled out loud. He twisted as his back now faced Kaido, and with his free hand, he began to try and push Aren's hand away from his hip. His weakest and most sensitive spot. Saiki desperately tried to pry off Aren's hand, but Aren was too busy taking in Saiki's laugh to even register that he was trying to fight back.
Kaido just put his hands on Saiki's shoulders now that he doesn't really know what to do or what to expect now that he's finally hearing Saiki laugh. And it wasn't an obnoxious laugh as he thought it would be. It was like airy, child like giggles. His giggles weren't too deep, but they weren't too high either. It was like any other ordinary giggle that a boy would have. It was all too sweet for Kaido to handle that he just sat there and smiled out of pure joy. What can I say? His giggles were contagious.
For Aren, he looked at how Saiki was handling the tickling on his hip since he figured that this was a bad spot for him. Saiki had he's head down still, but he was able to see the corners of his smile to know that it was wide enough to show his happiness. And when Aren lightened up from digging into his hip, to lightly squeezing it now, Saiki squirmed even more, and allowed himself to hiccup every now and then from the touch-Both boys will remember that. It was an endearing sight to see for Aren.
"Okahahay *hiccup* okahay! Ihihi'll smihihile fohohor thehe-" Saiki was cut off by a click and a flash from the booth. All three boys looked at the camera, and saw how the photo came out of the slot.
"Was that supposed to happen?" Kaido said, lookin at both Aren and Saiki.
"I don't know, but at least it got it!" Aren said, looking at the photo with enthusiasm. And for some odd reason he was still tickling Saiki's hip.
"L-lehehet gohoho ahahalreahahady!" Saiki said, pushing even further into Kaido, which ended up with the blue haired to be squished against the booth wall.
"Woops! My bad.." Aren said, letting go of Saiki's hip. He turned his head to Kaido, who had the photo.
"Guys, look! It's showing Saiki's smiling face!" Kaido said, happily. He held up the picture infront of Saiki, who was finally able to turn back to sit normally on the chair, and Aren.
"Awww, for someone who had their picture taken from their side view, I'd say this suits you, Saiki. You look cute, man!" Aren said, going for his hip again, which caused the teen to flinch again.
"Aah-!" Saiki quickly moved on instinct to get Aren's hand off of his hip, which worked this time. He held his hand in the air for the time remaining of being in that booth for his own safety. Uncharacteristic of him, he of course thought to himself, but nonetheless, it's do or die.

The three all got out of the booth, and started walking around the mall since Saiki had mentioned about the comics.. Not that he wanted them around, but his mom would kill him later if he just ditched them like all the other times he ditched them.
"What comic are you looking for exactly?" Aren questioned, looking at Saiki as they all followed.
"It's called 'The night Lurks within' these forests.'" Saiki said, blatantly. He looked from left to right, trying to find the comic store, but was faced with clothes stores and food stands.
"That sounds like something that a kid would read, haha!" Kaido blurted out.
Saiki stopped in his tracks to turn to look at Kaido with a straight, but offended face. "It's not a kids comic. If you read this comic, you'd be traumatized by how much gore and foul dialogue it has." Saiki said before turning back to look for the comic store.
Kaido all but had fear in his eyes when hearing Saiki be that straight forward with him. He looked at Aren who gave him a shoulder shrug, and then back to Saiki.
"I.. Uh, ehehe.. I know where a comic store would be in this mall-" Kaido started to say before he got interrupted.
"Where!" Saiki had stopped and turned to face Kaido again in a serious manner.
Then they were off. Kaido had shown the way to where one would be, and Saiki was following with enthusiasm in his steps. When they got the comic store, Saiki had stormed off, temporarily ditching Kaido and Aren to fend for the two other comics that he was desperate to get through out this whole trip.
"Saiki is a different person when trying to find something he's obsessed over, huh?" Kaido had said, looking at Aren. They waited on a bench that was close to the book store while they waited for Saiki to return with the comics.
"Yeah.. But I kind of like this side of Saiki. He's always so blunt and careful of what he does or says, so seeing him like this brings so much relief off my shoulders." Aren said without looking at Kaido once.
"Yeah, I think the same. I always saw him as someone who didn't care about anyone or anything, but this alone debunks my thoughts about him. I wonder why he's not like this at school."
"I don't know.. People can be too much for someone like him. He likes to be left alone, unbothered. I used to be that way, too. Even though I was in a gang. Being left alone is a great feeling until you find out that you really want to be with someone. Which I think is why he's acting so out of character with us all of a sudden, because he realized that he really needed someone to boost his social battery enough to act like himself." Aren said quietly, but just enough for Kaido to hear.
Kaido was quiet now. He understood what Aren said, and took it all in to realize that it might just be what it was that had Saiki be like this. Though it's subtle, they still knew that Saiki was acting different than when he was usually with them at school.
Just then, they see a satisfied Saiki who was holding two comic books in his hand. Did he also get a chocolate jelly out of a comic store?!
"That was quick! Did you find the right ones?" Aren said, looking at him with a smile.
Saiki just nodded happily and started to walk in the direction of where the exit doors were of the mall. Kaido and Aren both looked at each other with smiles on their faces, and walked with him to the doors.
Maybe Saiki isn't just this stoic and blunt person they mad him out to be afterall.
