I think about the saint row reboot a lot and I think (even though I really enjoyed the reboot. An i will never understabd the hate it got.) They should have stuck with the broke college student angle.

Instead of buying a church, you are the child of one of the Saints and you fucked off to college. While your gang family fucked off half way across the planet. Giving you proper daddy or mommy issues.

You live in a tiny ass apartment that way too expensive. An the story turns from we are already career criminals to we are just starting being criminals and everything that can go wrong, goes wrong.

You throw partys your not suppose to. You make friends etc. Would it truamatize a good chunk of the millennials playing the game. Because suddenly you have to worry about a presentation in game and also outside. But i think thats needed to have accurate enough staying power.
