They were up to something. I can see glimpses of their vision and I somewhat feel cheated that we never got that Salamanders Villain Arc.

You don't know subversion of expectations until you read a salamander tell a bunch humans that he isn't here to save them and that they can go eat bricks for all he cares.

Or that space wolve romantic side plot. Like sure, it would have been mangled corpse and a thing only the author could love. But it would have been entertaining to read.

Theres an alternative timeline that never came to be because Games Workshop patched up that gas leak.

Y'know, smithing is probably dominated by women on Nocturne. Think about it. The best boy apprentices would probably go into the neophyte trials, but the best girl apprentices can't. So they stay behind and keep smithing until they become masters unto themselves. Look I'm just saying Nocturne has a bunch of brawny women churning out spectacular metalwork, is that too much to ask for

She's in my homebrew chapter's colors so I guess she's one of Casta's little marooned squad, who have had lore but no name for months

Part 3 or Salamanders as Salamanders. Sternguard veteran as a red salamander. The entirety of this pairing was that the red salamander looks cool and I wanted to paint red. Turned out well I think. The photo is by Scott Bolick.
