Headcanon that Gilan figured out if he talks really fast and says a lot of similar sounding words (ex: Sally sells seashells by the seashore but 10x fast) then Halt, being a non native speaker, gets a little confused for a second while he pieces together what was just said. Gilan now says complete gibberish really fast for no reason to replace or add emphasis to certain words.

Like, instead of saying "Halt, no offense, but your food is horrible" He'll say "Halt, no offense, but your food is dingdangdiddlypiedpicklepiperpositively horrendous" and Halt just stands there for a second debating if he should try and decode that or if he should just give up

So everyone remembers,’Sally sells seashells at the seashore.’ Right? Well I’ve heard of some people getting suspicious that it was Sally as in Percy’s mom. Though. I’ve made a discovery. There is another version of those alliteration. ‘She sells seashells by the seashore.’ What if Apollo heard about Poseidon having a child with Sally so made that Alliteration to tease Poseidon. Then when Poseidon progressively got annoying, Apollo changed it to she. So Apollo continued to tease Poseidon. Then when Apollo couldn’t tease Poseidon anymore Apollo decided to give the Alliteration to people. So that Apollo could continue to annoy Poseidon without being the one to speak it.

Behold, the gang... They're all here today:

Doing more laid back beach-y things, such as having a little picnic and generally vibing.

Currently: Sitting on the picnic blanket, the boys a.k.a Lorien and Branson are hanging out, sipping on some tea and nibbling on some little Cake Yazdi-inspired muffins/cupcakes; a Rouhani family (Mina's family) special.

Meanwhile, Mina is chasing a tiny crab that continues to elude her. Everyone has seen it, by now - even still, she insists on trying to catch it and show it to the others up close.

Sal is off in her own little corner, perusing the shoreline for seashells. (Sally doesn't sell seashells by the seashore in this little story, however!)
