Context: Y'all know that episode where Bloodmoon meets Roderick and follows his orders? Well, what if that didn't happen at all? Instead of them having an evil plan (as the episode was named), Bloodmoon calls "Moon" (before he becomes Nexus) and tells him to come pick him up. How did the Bloodmoon twins get "Moon's" phone number? Idk I guess they stole it on the way out 😂😂

Also, something I can’t stop imagining:

Blood Moon being manipulated by Roderick in a way they don’t notice at first but they gradually become more and more stockholmed by Roderick to the point they don’t remember how to do anything by themselves besides killing.

It gets to the point where Blood Moon is neglecting themself and Roderick is controlling their entire life and Blood Moon is simply Roderick’s servant and Blood Moon’s needs and health is neglected. If they get injured, the injuries don’t get treated because they ‘failed to properly succeed’.

"You uh...are you okay?", Jeremy asked, tilting his head. They can feel Jeremy's hands gripping his shoulders tight, practically squeezing him.

"Y-yeah...", the boy replied. "I uh... I just zoned out. That's all."

Jeremy looked to his side, glancing at Samuel.

Samuel sighed. "Kevin... I don't think that was just zoning out."

"...What?"

"Have you heard of absence seizures?"

Kevin blinked. "I-I guess."

"Well, one of the symptoms is that you... 'zone out.' Are you feeling okay? Do you feel anything strange?"

"Well..." Kevin quietly said. "Sometimes, my head feels like it's about to explode. I can't focus and I just wanted everyone to go away. I feel like everything is closing in and I..." He gripped his jacket. "I don't even realize it happens. And when I do, I'm already..."

The boys all looked at each other. If it is what they think it is, then Kevin might need some help.

The 11th book for my 2025 Book Blanket is The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allen Poe, presented by Re: Dracula with Stephen Indrisano as narrator and Sam Stark as Roderick Usher.

This one gave me fits. This is the third version and its one that I'm mostly happy with. I love the crack on the image, and I tried doing a bunch of color changes to achieve it, which kinda worked but it was super thick and I didn't trust it to hold up to use and washing. I also tried a solid white square with embroidery floss, which didn't look great. Doing a chain of black on the white square split the difference perfectly and if it does come off, I can replace it without having to figure out how to replace a whole square.

I have two ratings for this one. My rating for The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allen Poe is ⭐⭐. I like Poe. I like Gothic literature. I didn't like the Fall of the House of Usher. 🤷‍♀️ BUT, as for the audio from Re: Dracula, Stephen Indrisano, Sam Stark, Tal Minear? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! It was gorgeous to listen to. I'm also listening to Carmilla and plan on listening to Dracula in May.
