Okay but- if you think about it, Saru really does hate being touched, even by Misaki when they first meet. Not much of a surprise if you look at Saru's home life and how he was treated. So naturally, the very first time Misaki feels conformable enough to hug Saru, he's pushed away instantly only to be told that hugging is something Saru isn't crazy about. This of course does disappoint Misaki a bit but he decides to try again a few weeks later, only to get the same results.

However, despite the constant rejections, he doesn't give up because he's determined get his best friend more comfortable with hugs, and soon enough he notices that Saru had stopped pushing him away, but still refuses to return the embrace. Either way, progress is progress, so over the next couple of months the hugs continue and then one day, Misaki is surprised.

As usual, Misaki comes running up to Saru and throws his arms around his best friend, giving him a bit of a tighter hug then usual. Just as he was about to let his friend go, he is taken by surprise when he feels Saru wrapping his arms around him, surprising Misaki right away. This causes Misaki to look up at his friend in confusion, only to see Saru looking off to the side and seeming to be a bit embarrassed.

"...Are you hugging me back, Saru...?" Misaki asks, still sounding rather confused.

"I um...to be honest, I've always liked your hugs but I had to tell myself I didn't because I feared that you would reject me... No one had ever wanted to hug me before, not even my own parents obviously, so I just told myself I didn't like hugs...but yours are different... They're warm and I feel safe..." Saru mumbles in a soft tone, still not looking at Misaki.

Hearing that had definitely surprised the little ginger, and even made his heart hurt slightly. However, after learning this he tightens his embrace on Saru and gently snuggles against his chest while feeling Saru's arms tighten around his smaller form.

After that day, Misaki made sure to hug Saru every day, sometimes twice or three times a day so Saru could always feel the safe embrace his friend provided for him and Saru always returned his friend's hugs, making Misaki the only one allowed to ever touch him in such a way.

Lego Batman X Sarumi AU where Yata is batman and Saru is joker.

This is absolutely making me imagine tiny Lego figure Sarumis XD Fushimi is indeed Yata’s greatest enemy and will be very cross if Yata claims he’s fighting a lot of people right now, how dare Misaki fight around. Since Yata’s all rich and stuff maybe when he was younger and his parents were still alive he spent a lot of time being bored at fancy parties, which is where he met Fushimi. They became best friends but then after Yata’s parents died and he decided to become a superhero vigilante he kinda forgot about Fushimi and clearly Fushimi had no choice but to become a supervillain in order to get Yata’s attention, you know, as you do. Fushimi restyled his hair to look more like his shitty dad’s so that he would be extra super villain-y and that was too much for Yata, he has no idea that this villain is also his former best friend. Fushimi is very proud of being Yata’s greatest enemy, until Yata’s like nah you’re not my greatest enemy, I have a bunch of enemies. Fushimi is obviously displeased by this and has no choice but to aspire to even greater heights of villainy, so that he can have all Yata’s attention to himself (and then the big climax is Yata finally realizing Fushimi’s identity and admitting that Fushimi truly was his number one best nemesis all along).

so, I’ve really quickly scribbled a thing that came to my head, the classic “how you fall asleep / how you actually sleep” featuring fushimi saruhiko and yata misaki from K

Cancer & Scorpio compatibility (part 1/?): Trust (Scorpio).

(English isn't my mother language so I apologize for the grammar and silly mistakes you could read. Be aware of the spoilers. Feel free to add anything if you want.)

As soon as Saruhiko and Misaki joins Homura, Saru regretted about his decision since he can't get along with the group. He's a person who doesn't know how to deal with people, he didn't even care about it. When he met Misaki, he was the one who literally get into his life without ask for permission (in Lost Small World, Misaki kept telling Saruhiko about the weird messages he had received even when Saru had yelled at Misaki and, after that, Misaki thought that they were already besties xD), Misaki was the only one person who went near Saruhiko and the only one person who Saruhiko established a connection.

On the other hand, Misaki is more... friendly than Saru XD that's why he can get along with the guys of Homura.

We only can see Saruhiko's reaction as bored but he could be mad looking at Misaki talking all friendly with someone who isn't him. Being aware that Misaki isn't looking at him anymore/ isn't looking ONLY at him (and after his meeting with Reisi in LSW), Saruhiko has no other option more than leave Homura (leaving Misaki behind) and move on (without Misaki). The issue is that Saru DOESN'T WANT to leave Misaki. As Tatara said in the novel RED SIDE, Saru: “...he holds on too much to one single thing” (translation by me), and that thing that he's holding onto is what keeps him in Homura, even if he doesn't want to stay. If he can't let go of that one thing, what he can do to get his attention once again? Easy, hitting him when it hurts: bad-mouthing about Homura and Mikoto.

PS: We can see other example of a jealous and possessive Saru in the chapters 10 and 11 of the manga K - Memory of Red, “Inside the Cellar”, in which Misaki and Saruhiko ends up underground when they're running after a Strain. Misaki said to Saru: “I thought of you as one of my important comrades too”, and then, Saruhiko whispered: “Me 'too' as 'one of my important comrades', you say?”, but in the end he faced Misaki and said, “...so annoying” [x it's killing me to use this kind of website as a source but I couldn't find anything else, original source: x]

Chapter 1: Doesn’t Realize They’ve Been Injured

BINGO TWO WAYS, FINALLY!

“What have you done now Suoh?” Munakata placed his hand on the hilt of his sabre as he and the Red King looked around. They had been on the roof of a building, about to have their clans face off when a blinding light engulfed them both.

“I haven’t done anything Munakata.” Mikoto lit a new cigarette as he looked around the now empty rooftop before the cigarette dropped from his lips. Munakata turned towards the direction Mikoto was looking at and found himself frozen as well.

The Red and Blue Swords of Damocles were lazily hovering in the distance, side by side instead of opposite each other as they always were.

“Shall we go investigate?” Munakata asked, mind abuzz with questions and confusion.

“Ah,” Mikoto breathed out as his Aura lit up his feet and hands and he was taking off towards the Swords of Damocles. Munakata shook his head with a small smile but was quick to follow the impulsive Red King with his own Aura aiding him.

The two Kings arrived at the site where the Swords were hanging over and found themselves freezing at what greeted them.

“Fushimi and…” Munakata’s eyes went wide from behind his glasses while he took in the scene below.

“Misaki,” Mikoto said in shock, golden eyes just as wide as Munakata’s.

“Misaki!” Fushimi called out as he ducked under a blast of green flames and threw his hands out, creating disks of Blue flames upwards.

“Right!” Misaki shouted as he easily leapt up the disks that Fushimi had created, using them to get an advantage as his Red burned brightly around him.

With a battle cry, Misaki launched himself at a man in a green and black helmet that held some sort of rocket launcher and left both in a carter, taking them out of action.

Fushimi’s sabre was alight with his Blue and he was slashing his way through a small army of green and black helmeted men. Misaki leapt back into the fray, this time familiar knives held between his fingers that were coated in his Red that also surrounded his feet, allowing him to glide and speed around the men fighting as if he was still on his skateboard.

“This isn’t working! There are too many of them!” Misaki shouted as he was blasted back to Fushimi’s side by a combination of green flames from their opponents.

“We better use that then,” Fushimi adjusted his glasses as Misaki threw a red-coated punch to take out a man who was trying to sneak up behind Fushimi.

“No Blood!” Misaki shouted as he was launched up into the sky by a disk of Blue from Fushimi while a blast of Red surrounded Fushimi in a protective ring of fire.

“No Bone!” Fushimi shouted as his Blue began to spike up high to mirror the way Misaki’s Red was from his place high in the sky.

“No Ash!” They shouted in unison.

“Fushimi, ready!” Fushimi held his Blue flaming sword in front of him, one hand behind his back in his usual ready stance.

“Yata, ready!” Misaki echoed his arms crossed in front of him in an X form with his knives raging with Red flames.

Munakata and Mikoto watched in stunned silence as they were forced to throw up their own shields as a huge blast of Red and Blue lit up the area.

“Their Weismann levels must be off the charts!” Munakata grunted as he and Mikoto both fought to keep their shields intact. Finally, the flames disappeared and the two Kings could lower their shields and stare at the street below. Every enemy Fushimi and Misaki had been fighting were on the ground and the two were standing side by side, fist-bumping as if they did this every day.

“So, they really became us huh?” Mikoto lit up a cigarette, inhaling deeply.

“Not exactly like us, they are working together in a way I’ve never heard of before. Not for a Red and a Blue King at least,” Munakata knew Fushimi held potential, but he hadn’t expected this.

“It’s Fushimi and Yata,” Mikoto said as if that explained everything and perhaps it did.

“If they are Kings now, we must be in the future. It would be prudent to ask them for aid to get back to our time.” Munakata suggested and Mikoto hummed in his usual way. Munakata adjusted his glasses before he followed his Red King off the rooftop and down towards the future of both of their clans.

“You idiot, why didn’t you say anything?” Fushimi seemed to be fuming; his hands were hovering over Misaki’s side that was now coated in blood. Misaki was leaning against a wall of a building with a pained look on his face.

“I didn’t notice okay?” Misaki huffed as he allowed Fushimi to inspect the wound on his side.

“Didn’t notice, of course, you didn’t.” Fushimi ran his fingers through his hair in exhaustion before he stiffened up. Fushimi turned and threw his left arm out in front of Misaki, his knives lighting up Blue while his sabre in his right hand glowed Blue as he stared down the approaching men.

“Who are you?” Fushimi growled as Misaki lurched forward with a pained sound, but Fushimi used his outstretched arm to keep the injured Red King back behind him protectively.

“Mikoto-San?” Misaki’s eyes were wide and glassy with unshed tears.

“Misaki,” Mikoto inclined his head with a small smile, “The Red looks good on you.”

“Don’t talk to him, identify yourselves now.” Fushimi snarled, his eyes flicking between Munakata and Mikoto.

“Reisi Munakata, Captain of Specter 4 and in my time the Blue King.” Munakata knew the procedure and was proud of the way Fushimi was acting and the way Fushimi had grown into his Specter 4 uniform. Munakata held his hand up, allowing his flames to light it Blue.

“Mikoto Suoh, Homra, Red King,” Mikoto grunted with his own display of Red, before inclining his head at Fushimi who blinked like he was taken back before he steadied himself.

“Saru, the strain we were trying to track down before the damn Green’s cornered us.” Misaki placed his hand on Fushimi’s shoulder.

“Time displacement, right. Damn.” Fushimi sighed and relaxed, both his and Misaki’s Swords of Damocles turning into crystals and fading from the sky.

“You’re going to have to come back to Specter 4,” Fushimi sheathed his sabre as Misaki bounced on his feet.

“Of course,” Munakata agreed pushing up his glasses. “You’ve become a man Fushimi,”

“Tch,” Fushimi rolled his eyes as he tossed his head to the side as Misaki lunged at Mikoto. Mikoto willingly caught Misaki in a hug, allowing the smaller man and now the Red King to cling to him.

“Mikoto-San!” Misaki sobbed into the man’s white shirt.

“Misaki, you’ve done well.” Mikoto praised.

Munakata watched Fushimi’s reaction and was pleasantly surprised when Fushimi’s eyes softened at the sight slightly before sighing and pulling his phone out.

“Akiyama, we’ve got a code 12…Yeah, we’re bringing them back to Specter 4… Yeah do that, he’ll want to see this and call Homra while you’re at it.” Fushimi ordered with an ease that made Munakata proud to watch.

“Misaki, you’re hurt,” Mikoto stated as he did his best to balance the swaying Red King in his arms.

“Tch, idiot!” Fushimi was at Misaki’s side, sweeping him up into his arms bridal style. Misaki just squinted up at Fushimi before leaning his cheek against the Blue Kings’ collarbone with a sigh.

“We can follow you back to Specter 4 Fushimi, don’t concern yourself with us.” Munakata offered and Fushimi glanced at Mikoto who nodded silently agreeing with Munakata.

“Try and keep up,” Fushimi stated shortly as a disk of Blue formed under his feet and it took off into the sky carrying both Red and Blue Kings.

“Our future huh? It looks like it’s in good hands,” Mikoto exhaled a puff of smoke as both remaining Kings lit their flames to follow Misaki and Fushimi.

“Indeed it does,” Munakata hummed as they followed the men who seemed to have succeeded both of them.

Niki Fushimi x Seigo Ōtori

DON’T CALL THE PSYCH WARD ON ME YET! LET ME EXPLAIN, OKAY? Hear me out!

They’re three years apart;

One is a holy man and the other is a practically a demon. Perfect for that exorcist flavor;

Niki and Seigo meet in high school, with Seigo being a senior to Niki the troublemaker. Similar to Izumo and Mikoto;

During these years they have a platonic bromance (or more… if the thought of a kinky priest is your cup of tea);

Niki was there when Seigo became a King. Possibly became a clansman of his too;

At 19, in 1993 Niki meets Kisa and marries her. Saruhiko is born on the same year. Niki more or less stops seeing Seigo to focus on his new toy.

In 1999 Cathedral calls all its members to try and stop Kagutsu from destroying the city. Niki doesn’t go, and as such he is the last surviving clansman of the Gray Clan;

With nobody left to go to, Seigo turns to Niki for help on how to handle little Nagare. It’s actually niki’s idea to use a straight jacket to stop him from going overdrive (it does seem like the kind of idea Niki would have…);

Remember how J-Cube, the game on the Jungle App, had Rubik’s cubes in it? Guess who got Nagare into those before the app was made? To entertain little Nagare Niki showed off his skills with the toy since the kid coudlnt have his hands free;

Maybe that’s why Niki wasn’t around home so much anymore;

When Niki gets sick, Iwafune goes to see him on his death bed one last time. Niki doesn’t need a confession before passing away, and rather tells Iwafune that he’s proud he chose a more carefree lifestyle like his own;

Iwafune is actually there at Niki’s funeral. He even talks to Saru, who doesn’t suspect a thing;

Remember that this is just after Jungle’s Flash Mob against Homra in Lost Small World. Saru has already had his first contact with Nagare. Iwafune definitely knows this. Maybe there’s a little hint about it who leaves Saruhiko confused but not able to catch the truth quite yet;

Wouldn’t it be sick if this was behind the story of how Nagare thought of the “Niki virus” that will be used against Saru a year and a half later to pull him away from Misaki and Homra? (Yes I know Aya is the one using the virus, but I doubt she had the necessary powers to create it herself. Nagare definitely used her for this);

Btw Nagare totally judges Aya’s impression of Niki when playing J-Cube.

Later in Return of Kings when Saruhiko joins Jungle, Iwa reminisces about Niki and his daddy senses kick in realizing how deeply he’s scarred Saru. (“I MUST SAVE THIS CHILD”);

Great fodder for IwaRei crack too. Imagine them arguing back and forth on how to parent Saru properly.

Munakata: Why did you let Sukuna stab him!?

Iwafune: it wasn’t him, Saru slipped while they were playing-

Munakata: UNSUPERVISED!

Iwafune: Why don’t we talk about who bought him those slippery sneakers in the first place?

Munakata: -angry noises-

Overall I just like the plot behind these two being somewhat close, romance or not. I might  RP it if I find the right partner~

A Star Is Born Sarumi AU! Fushimi as the established star, Yata as the newcomer and Munakata as Fushimi's manager

But with a better ending, right? Right?? ;3; So say Fushimi’s a musical star who’s become less popular of late due to issues with him arriving late for concerts or not showing up at all, plus maybe even getting into public fights and such. I’m thinking Fushimi maybe isn’t an alcoholic in this AU but just suffering from general mental issues that make it hard for him to remain a star, like he can’t handle having all these people constantly watching him and he thinks that really all anyone cares about him for is due to his songs, if he didn’t have his career he’d be nobody and so he doesn’t give a shit about his own well being at all. Munakata’s always trying to help him and keep him on track but Fushimi’s even become distant with him of late, maybe there was some recent scandal with Fushimi lately that’s caused most people in the business to write him off and Fushimi’s taking this to mean that it’s finally happened and his last precious thing is going to be destroyed.

One night Fushimi goes to a bar just to drown his sorrows a little and he ends up running into this red-head at the bar who he gets into an argument with, like Yata accidentally spills his drink on Fushimi and when he starts to apologize Fushimi just gets this twisted grin and is like oh is that who spilled on me I couldn’t see a midget like you even from so close up. Yata gets annoyed and they squabble a little, Fushimi’s surprised by how much he enjoyed himself for once. That’s when Yata storms off and ends up showing up on stage with his guitar as the performer for the night. Fushimi’s surprised that this hot-tempered shrimp wants to be a star but then he finds himself drawn to Yata’s music, like something about the honesty and authenticity in Yata’s songs makes him transfixed. Halfway through Yata’s set his speakers end up going on the fritz and Yata starts panicking, say there was some kind of record label guy at the bar that day scouting him and when the speakers break the guy leaves. Yata’s visibly frustrated about losing his shot at the big time and that’s when Fushimi just quietly gets up and finds himself fixing the issue so Yata can finish his set, not even sure why it’s just he wants to hear Yata sing again.

Afterward Yata comes over and grudgingly thanks him, Fushimi just shrugs and says it was nothing. Yata introduces himself, Fushimi tries to shrug off giving his own name and maybe that’s when Munakata shows up looking for Fushimi and says Fushimi’s name, Yata immediately recognizes that name and is suddenly all amazed because the Fushimi Saruhiko just listened to his music (also this means he spilled his drink on a big star, Fushimi snorts and tells Yata to stop staring at him like that it’s annoying). Munakata smoothly interjects and maybe ends up inviting Yata to Fushimi’s next show. Yata takes the offer all excited, afterward Fushimi glares at Munakata and wonders what that was all about. Later on though Fushimi’s writing material for his next song and he keeps thinking about Yata as he does, Yata’s music just won’t get out of his mind.

A few weeks later Fushimi runs into Yata before the show, he’s not really feeling up to performing and was thinking of canceling but then when he sees Yata there Fushimi finds himself more eager to go on stage. Midway through his show he suddenly asks Yata to come on stage and sing with him just out of the blue, Yata’s shocked but also finds himself super eager to get to sing with Fushimi. Together they perform this awesome duet and get a standing ovation, shortly afterward Yata is offered a record contract of his own.

So after this the two of them start spending a lot of time together and while Yata’s getting more and more popular Fushimi’s beginning to fall back into old habits. The more popular Yata gets the more Fushimi feels like he’s being left behind, Yata wants to be with Fushimi but he also doesn’t want to entirely give up his career, he wants to sing with Fushimi and be successful together. Finally maybe Fushimi painfully breaks things off with Yata, telling Yata that he was only a distraction anyway even though really Fushimi’s doing this because he’s decided that he’s holding Yata back. Afterward Fushimi returns home and pulls a knife from his drawer, he’s about to harm himself when Yata shows up and punches him, slamming him to the floor and crying as he’s like what the hell you asshole do you think I’ll let you leave me this easily. Fushimi says calmly that Yata doesn’t need him and Yata tells him that he’s an idiot, Yata’s songs were only good because he had Fushimi there to encourage him and without Fushimi Yata’s music won’t sound the same ever again.

Also i found preview images from chapter 5 or 6 or something on canna magazine’s twitter, but without those sweet sweet in between chapters im kinda lost on whether or not i should even translate them

I am definitely buying the tankobon whenever it comes out, and i’ll order fetters too since i completely didn’t know that existed so i didnt buy them when i was in japan ;;;;; i really can’t afford to buy magazines like canna, rutile, cheri+, ect since theyre like 10 bucks a pop, and even though they’re not really monthlies, the price and shipping costs add up to a lot (where the shipping costs more than the books themselves lol i stg)   

but yeah a volume of canna is released every 2 months, so it’s been a while since red hood started it’s serialization which is why

If no one takes this even after the tankobon release (nudge nudge hint hint), i’ll probably go to renta for translation purposes, since it’s probs cheaper and easier to rent each chapter for a few days than to buy 2 copies of the books (1 to unbind/scan, 1 to treasure 4ever)

next up is another collab w procrastination scans/shotaddict19 and it’s a saru x misaki dj, and i’ll try to finish that one hoohaku dj, and then another supokon chapter

but school is back and boo i hate circuits and transistors and all that other gross wiring electronics stuff, so expect really really really slow releases (which is why i wanted to get red hood out asap)
