anna limón & dr. lawrence gordon: they are both. So Fucked Up. and Morally Grey. but honestly? yeah!! they’d get along! they both so deeply love the people they care about and have little regard for all else! they’re both stupid medical professionals! they’re both my silly little comfort characters! 6/10, they’d vibe.

mabel martin & adam faulkner-stanheight: they’d hate each other for a solid week and then realize they’re actually destined to be pals. adam infodumps about camera lenses for ten minutes while mabel very excitedly explains hagstones and their capabilities to him. i feel like they’re the type of people to go around town and find stray cats u know. they’re good. 9/10. PALS.

lolo garcia & detective allison kerry: lolo canonically hates authority figures & law enforcement, and she’d also despise that kerry’s method of dealing with things is just kinda. going with the flow. like if lolo was the one in the room when danny matthews got kidnapped? that boy would have been FOUND in MINUTES. 2/10. no.

ekaterina roskova & detective mark hoffman: they’re both primarily motivated by vengeance due to a loss: mark of his sister, ekaterina of her own life. while this is an important motivator for them both-- along with them both falling into the Bite the Hand That Feeds You character archetype-- ekaterina would not like mark as mark’s violence is aggressively self-centered. he hurts people because he likes to; ekaterina hurts people in an attempt to gain what she is owed. also, mark is a corrupt authority figure, and ekaterina wants his ass in the ground asap. 3/10, i feel like they’d understand each other but mark’s a coward.

janet kirk & will schenk: i’m gonna be honest. i have not seen spiral. however, will is apparently a serial killer fanboy who likes fighting corrupt people, so, yeah, they’d probs get along. solid 4/10.

jonathan mills & amanda young: “is this entire post an excuse to talk about jonmandy parallels?” fucking yes it is. next question. they are the SAME PERSON. they would HATE each other for MONTHS. how dare you be like me! i’m like me! and then they would realize that they’re both incredibly damaged people who need to open up and they’d go and smoke somewhere and discuss their feelings and jon would probably cry and then they’d be siblings forever. 10/10 this is my favorite thing to think about ever.

brandon & daniel matthews: oh yeah babey! teenage boys put in a hostile and abusive environment because of the failures of their parents! they would be friends. they’d hold hands platonically probably. also they’d laugh at amanda and jonathan. 9/10.

aurora silver & john kramer: . horrifying to think about! 5/10, they’d get along from a philosphical perspective but aurora would think john is soft on his kids and john would think aurora wastes potential. the polite coworkers who secretly gossip about each other. i’m correct.
