In honor of Leigh whannells birthday. I decided to share my theory on Adam being alive.

(contains spoilers from saw 3d, saw 3, saw 1.)

In the 3rd movie, John states he was fixing Amandas mistakes. Adam was one of those mistakes. Considering Adam was suffocated for about 30-40 seconds, he most likely just passed out. He definitely didnt die from that.

I believe John had taken Adam in, and replaced his body with detective tapps. They were wearing similar clothing, and got shot in the shoulder/neck area.

In i think either saw 2 or 3d. We notice that the chain is on the wrong foot. In saw 3, John states “Put the shackle on his **left** foot.” And so amanda does. How could the directors forget such a key detail? Not to mention, Leigh Whannell, the man who plays Adam and wrote SAW with James Wan, I doubt he would let a mistake such as that go onto the big screen.

(yes im aware he stopped taking full control after saw 3, but theres no way he isnt in contact somehow.)

Cary Elwes (Dr.Gordon) states in an interview with Shawnee Smith that the only reason Dr.Gordon is back is because the fans campaigned so hard. They wrote producers, sent letters etc. Unless Leigh is working on another project, i dont see why he wouldnt come back to play as Adam. I mean, its his most popular character.

If you couldnt tell, im hyperfixated on SAW. And Adam is my favorite character in the whole franchise. Seeing him in aaw 11 would definitely make my year.

High as balls, and thinking about the fact that Lawrence never had any photos of himself, which makes sense given his relationship with Allison. They were unhappy together, the only reason they were together was for diana.

But it feels representative of how they never really loved each other.

Then, thinking about Lawrence and Adam meeting in the bathroom trap, Allison reveals that Adam has been taking pictures of Lawrence for days. When he throws the pictures all over the room I can’t stop thinking that Lawrence probably had never seen that many pictures of himself before.

How he never will again.

He would be kept up at night thinking about what life could have been like with Adam. How he might finally have been happy with him, how it would be to wake up next to him, how walks in the park would be better with his hand to hold, how he would smile while helping Diana with her homework as Adam tries make them laugh for a picture.

There wouldn’t be a day Lawrence’s picture wasn’t taken.
