Kaeya Alberich

Your legs trembling like a leaf as you somehow kept yourself propped up against the kitchen counter, waiting for the water to get warm enough so you can make yourself a glass of chamomile tea, a natural and subtle pain killer for your condition every month. Your fragile figure inhaled sharp breaths as you poured the water into a glass mug, only for it to slip from your hands as a sudden wave of pain coursed through you, effectively making you dizzy and unaware of your surroundings as the door to your home simultaneously opened. The cavalry captain rushed into the kitchen, his senses on high alert only to find your figure gripping the counter edge with knuckle whitening grip with one hand, head against the counter, propped up on the floor, barefooted amongst the sharp glass shards. He was quick to move, his leather shoes stepping across the glass and scooping you in his arms in one swift motion. Your half lidded eyes looked up at him, seeing the worry etched on his eyebrows as he laid you down on the soft bed. "Kaeya.... " You breathed, only for him to place a kiss against your forehead and mumbling, "Let me bring you the beverage. Don't move. I'll be right back." Suffice to say, he didn't even go to angel's share that night.

Half an hour passed when the door opened, none other than your partner chiming in with a bright grin on his face only for it to slowly vanish as he looked at you. His face held no expression as he made his way towards you, placing a small bag on the table, making you aware of his arrival. "You're back" you smiled weakly only for the silence to respond you as he disappeared down the hall, returning with a pillow and blanket. His actions were quite as you just looked at him quietly. You knew he was upset that you didn't tell him, and you also knew an apology wasn't enough, so you stayed silent, waiting for him to speak first. His hand slipped beneath you as he raised your lower back and waist, putting a pillow beneath you before gently placing you back down. Your middle portion was now warmed by a blanket as he took his seat where your form ended. He placed your feet on his lap, his hands massaging gently on your aching foot as he leaned back, closing his eyes.

"Just tell me next time. Events aren't worth anything when I have to see you like this. "

Xiao

It was rare for him to visit you at night, but something inside him told him to check up on you just once tonight, and so he did. His figure looked through the window, expecting to see you doing your work like you usually did in the quiet's of the night but all he saw was your figure curled up in itself, hands slightly shaky as you massaged and pressed against your own legs and feet, trying to find any comfort that you can to just make you fall asleep somehow. Only a few seconds and he was beside you, holding you close as he held you securely, rubbing your lower back with just the right amount of pressure. He knew he wasn't the best at these things and neither did he know what to do and what it was besides the process that was happening with you right now but all you did was nuzzled into him closer, silently making him believe that he was doing something right. Soon enough, his warmth from both him and his actions put you into a painless slumber.

The chances were almost next to none to not see your happy-go-lucky self in action and today was one of them. Worry was evident on his face and in his voice as his subordinates saw a new freaked out sight of him that day. Your eyes opened to the moon shining right before your eyes through the window as you felt a steady hand move across your abdomen. You looked at the owner of the hand, looking at him with soft eyes and breaking his trance, "Scara" and the next moment, his lips were on yours in a trembling kiss. He pulled away, placing his forehead against yours.

His eyes held pain as he laid beside you, his hand coming up to caress your hair. "What can I do? " You gulped, collecting the strength to speak "Just help me fall asleep. Please. " And that night was the first time when you discovered that the God of freedom sung lullabies much more sweeter than the tales and songs. Maybe because it was you? No one knows the answer to that till now as your eyes drifted close.

Kunikuzushi - i feel like he'd be clingy?? he js got abandoned by his creator. a sprinkle of abandonment issues. very very very sweet like this mf is one of the sweetest ppl u'll ever meet tbh. when he has to run errands he def brings sweets n snacks home for u, for example dango and mochi. very gentle w/u n has super soft hands. def praises u 24/7. he is a 100/10

Scaramouche - if kunikuzushi was THAT sweet, he'd surely be sweet too, right..? oh boy, you are so wrong. this mf is like the rudest bitch you'll ever meet, always cursing at you and shit.
