Prompt: Sharing a scarf

-Kim Seokjin fluff from the ‘It’s the small things..’ Series-

Your favorite day of the week was Friday. Not Saturday, nor Sunday; it is Friday. Even if you have 8 am lectures, it is still Friday. Every Friday you and your best friend’s lectures finish in the noon and both of you hang out. Since both of you are too lazy to go out in the weekend, it is better to hang out when you are already out. Most of the time, you will go to a restaurant recently opened in the city, or a café with the most delicious Belgian waffles. You switch the role of finding a new place every week. Both of you love eating, so this is really satisfying activity for both of you. After the meal, you would walk around, fooling yourself, thinking you are burning off the calories of the delicious food you’ve just eaten.

Seokjin was driving the car and you were choosing songs from the mutual playlist.

“When do we arrive? I am so hungry.” You pouted. “We are almost there.” He said. You sighed.

“Why didn’t you have breakfast though?” he asked. “You knew this restaurant is far from the campus.

“I told you, I didn’t have time. I was late to Mr. Kim’s lecture.”

“You didn’t even listen it, you always doze off in ten minutes.” He said.

“Shut up!”

He parked the car skillfully. You envy this trait of him. He can both jab at you and park the car perfectly, when you suck at both driving and parking the car.

After you got off the car, you walked to the restaurant. You sat in a window seat.

“What should we order?” he asked thoughtfully.

“Since you found here, you should recommend something.”

“I haven’t come here before.”

“Still, you must have read comments about what’s good. Hurry, I am really hungry.” You said. He sighed but still ordered the food.

After the lunch, you walked to the park nearby. Seokjin shivered. “It’s colder than I thought.” He said.

“I told you to bring your jacket with you.”

“I wanted to enjoy the last bits of summer.” He said.

“Summer? It is already October.” You rolled your eyes at him.

“But it was sunny, and it was supposed to be 20C degrees.” He explained.

“You will never grow up, huh?” You took off your blanket scarf from your neck. “Come here, let’s share this.”

“No, it is okay.” He rejected.

“I am not okay, though. Come here.” You grabbed his arm to pull him closer and wrapped the scarf around both of you.

“We look stupid.” He groaned.

“We have looked more stupid than this, in several occasions.” You said back.

“Still..” you shushed him. “Let’s get some tea from that café, so we can look more stupid.” You joked and dragged him to the café.

As soon as you entered the café, he got out under the scarf. You rolled your eyes at him.

“Can we get two take out black tea, please?” you ordered and paid. After taking your tea, Seokjin insisted to not to use the scarf, but as soon as you got outside, he gave you puppy eyes.

“Come here!” you opened your arms to let him get under the scarf, but he went for a hug. He naturally wrapped his arms around you, so you wrapped yours against him, too.

“It is much warmer this way.” He breathed in relief..

“Don’t we look stupid this way?” you joked. Deep down you were enjoying his warmth, too.

“No, we look cute. As in a way to warm people’s hearts.”

“Too cheese!” you laughed.

“Yah! You enjoy it, too.” He feigned hurt.

“But, I can’t drink my tea.” You said. He unwrapped his arms, but you tightened your arms around him.

“I am joking. But still, we need to part away, so we can walk and drink our tea.” You said and you two started to walk around the park. It was still hard to walk while sharing your scarf and trying to drink your tea. But Seokjin was right, it really warmed your heart.
