Tumblr media
|| Event Date:  FRIDAY, November 6, 2020 ||
|| Start time:  5:30 pm PST ||
Our POPULAR Friday Night Social “Networking” Event is a networking event that meets the first (1st) Friday of every month. It started as a way for TV and feature writers to meet one another and has evolved into so much more. This event was established in order for you to personally meet people and network yourself and your project(s).
Although we enjoyed meeting everyone in person over the last several years, we have now taken this POPULAR networking event ONLINE – with the same days (1st Friday’s) and NEW start & finish times of: 5:30 PM PST to 8:30 PM PST.
Taking this event ONLINE will allow all those participants in different time zones to join us. No excuses serious writers!! It’s time for you to network and meet new people.  As our President Ms. Sargent always says, you never know who you are going to meet and what that new contact can do for you and your career!

Upcoming: Secrets of Subplots – Webinar
Tumblr media
Webinar Event Date: Saturday, August 22, 2020 || Speaker: Geoffrey D. Calhoun || Start time: 1:00 pm PST ||
The main plot can only take you so far. Subplots are essential to add content and buff out your story. Subplots are not random events and filler added to a script just to hit a page mark. That creates an erratic story which will be lambasted by the film community and your peers. Subplots are designed from the bottom up to properly support and reinforce your stories theme, concept, and characters. This seminar will breakdown the proper subplots to utilize and how they intersect with a main plot.
