Interview with Tom Holland - Ekklesia Conference 2024
COMMENTARY:
The cultural shift Tom Holland has rightly identified is a direct result of the success of the Students for a Democratic Society to impose the cognitive structures of the Post Modern Historic Deconstruction on the global academe, there by ensuring the constant Marxist/Fascist metrics as the moral anchor of civilization, The premise behind Post Modern analysis is the desire of the American draft dodgers from the 60s to deny any over-arching Truth to the battle in Vietnam, such as Clausewitz, in order for them to elevate their collective condition of being scared shitless of going to Vietnam into the apogee of civic virtue. Eliminating Hegel, the libertarian logic of Ayn  Rand's Virute of Selfishness provides the perfect shifting tableau of advancing any convenient ethical construct as revealed wisdom. The classic case study of this effect is William F. Buckley's rebuttal to James Baldwin at the Cambridge Union in 1965, which, in the final analysis, is a full throated vindication and endorsement of "Bull' Conner's claim to preserving social order in Birmingham, Alabama with attack dogs and fires hoses against the Childrens March in 1963, The imposition of the Post Modern analysis after the SDS takeover of Columbia in 1968 played directly to the advantage of Buckley's rebuttal, which remains the pillar of the MAGA Conservatives and Christian Nationalist behind Trump. N.T. Wright is a chiild of the 60s cultural wars, he is absolutely correct regarding Pauline Theology, but it would serve him and the Anglican Church for him to abandon his aversion to Hegel as an artifact of the distortions originating with Post Modern Historic Deconstruction, which includes the abandonment of all things Calvin, The diffidence of his position resulting from Post Modern analysis is a force multiplier for the Pro-Life Calvinism of the Total Depravity Gospel of radical Evangelicals and the white supremacist Christian Nationalism, Hegel  rejected Calvin because Luther wasn't a Calvinist and the TULIP doctrine violates Free Will and the "love your neighbor" clause of Jesus's perfection of the Shema in Mark 13:29 - 31, In addition, Hegel gave up the Total Depravity Gospel of the Vatican and Inquistion when he nailed in 95 Thesis to the church door. N.T. Wright needs to understand that, when he refers to Christian liberals, he is refering to the Jesus Seminar, When American Evangelicals refer to liberals,  they mean "nigger lovers". The original sin of the Presbyterian Church, USA, is the Jim Crow bigotry of Woodrow Wilson and Buckley's rebuttal is a pillar of that moral rot. And Post Modern Historic Deconstruction is the sustaining ideological conceit of that social disorder,   That fact is that James Baldwin's proposition at the Cambridge Union is exactly why MAGA Conservatives and other white supremacists behind Trump hate Critical Race Theory, In the 59 years since Buckley v  Baldwin, social  research has established that Baldwin was exactly correct. ' ' Which is why Hegel would come in handy to N.T. Wright's pastoral ambitions.

If you are wondering why a linux driver isn't already included in the price you paid for your modem, or disagree with the practice of selling linux software, please read this explanation. The connector/pinout information may be applied to edit configuration files. Vista is installed on it and i am sick of it. Memory card support, ms, sd, xd-picture card.

Suh, dudes. Long time, no admin post. I hope you’ve all been enjoying the holiday breaks with your loved ones and making that money if you’ve been caught up in the retail life.
Since things have been f***ing nuts for everyone over the past month, I’ve made some adjustments to the calendar, both IC and OOC.
Ongoing IC Events---
21 December, 1978 - Robards Holiday Party, hosted at the Robards house for DMLE employees and close friends
24 December, 1978 - Christmas Eve Party at the Avery Manor, hosted by Prija Avery and her husband, Atticus
31 December, 1978 - New Years Eve Party at the Nott Manor, hosted by the Nott family
31 December, 1978 - New Years Eve Party at the Higgs Farm, hosted by Bertie Higgs & co.
Please don’t post starters or reply to open starters for these events any later than Sunday, 5 January, 11:59 pm PST.
Upcoming IC Events---
13 January, 1979 - classes resume at Hogwarts
18 January, 1979 - Quidditch: Hufflepuff vs. Slytherin
27 January, 1979 - the start of Reading Week
Please don’t post starters for these events until more details are posted as they come along.
SD’s First Ever AU Week---
No more jokes, we’re doing the damn thing. From 6 January to 12 January, we will be hosting our first ever AU week. This will hopefully give everyone a chance to catch up on the ongoing non-AU threads they have going on before we dive into a new semester, and give everyone a fun creative outlet outside of the norm.
So if you have suggestions for the AU week’s theme, HMU! On discord or the main’s ask is fine. We will hold our vote on Sunday.
That’s all for now, folks. Thanks for your patience with me during this hectic season. Cheers, M8s.

primed to scream PRIMES! PRIMES! PRIMES!!
f i just typed the answer to most of these questions and chrome crashed so christ i have to fucking retype all these but much condensed because i am lazy.
2. chocolate bars or lollipops?
chocolate bars. but only milk. my mom buys exclusively Very Dark Chocolate though so i usually just stare at those and Wish.
3. bubblegum or cotton candy?
well bubblegum or cotton candy flavored stuff neither they both taste nauseating. if we’re talking about the actual stuff then bubblegum because i can pop it. this actually reminded me i have gum in the pantry from the beginning of the semester i havent even opened yet so now my roommates have you to thank for popping noises the next hr or so
5. do you prefer to drink soda from soda cans, soda bottles, plastic cups or glass cups?
soda bottles because i dont like to drink soda quickly and so i want to close it and not let the carbon dioxide escape. soda cans a close second because it’s satisfying to open the tab.
7. earbuds or headphones?
wired earbuds because headphones are too big and clunky and you cant easily lay on your side with headphones on. but if my next pair of earbuds break within a month i might consider Switching because ive had 3 break on me in the past month and half and im at my wits end with earbuds.
11. what you have for breakfast on an average day?
i dont eat much for breakfast cause i want to sleep in until the last possible moment and i get stomachaches when i eat a lot in the morning but ill eat a piece of bread and yogurt maybe.
13. lanyard or key ring?
key ring but that’s just because i havent used a lanyard before. i think i would like a lanyard. im constantly looking for my keys in bags.
17. most frequently worn pair of shoes?
this pair of black sandals that i have tan lines on my feet from how much ive worn them
19. sleeping position?
ill sleep however... i like sleeping on my left side. on my stomach with my head to the right. on my back with my arms crossover my chest to keep warm. at the end of the bed with my head where my feet should be. i dont move at all when i sleep so freshman year when i had a lofted bed i think my roommate was a bit concerned in the beginning when i refused a bedrail because she thought i might fall. i never fell which was nice.
23. strange habits?
oh man idk i probably have a lot of those but nothing i can think about right now when im being put on the spot.
in elementary school i used to refuse to step on the yellow tiles at school.
29. best way to bond with you?
talk to me about the stuff i love!!!! and watch the stuff i love with me!!!! i am always down to [whatever the rabb.it replacement is these days] stuff with people and just generally both yell at each other and be passionate about stuff. currently what im passionate about is the stuff im screaming over at @winstonbillions so talk to me about that stuff!! please. i am always 3 seconds from screaming about ANY of that stuff.
31. what outfit do you wear to kick ass and take names?
idk about outfits to kick ass and take names but i have outfits where i get my ass kicked and name taken aka what i wear to exams. which is my tower of pimps shirt which ive deemed lucky. is it lucky in any way? no, but i’m hoping if i wear it enough to exams it might.
37. suitcase or duffel bag?
duffel bag. suitcases are so large and unwieldily. that reminds me i have a suitcase of winter clothes in my trunk i need to take out.
41. last person you texted?
as in actual texts on my phone? that would be my dad. asking him if i should drop my class im failing.
as for the last person i instant messaged, that would be one of my mutuals through my musical theater sideblog im currently yelling at about [musical theater related interest]. im not kidding guys talk to me about the stuff i post about on @winstonbillions PLEASE
43. hoodie, leather jacket, cardigan, jean jacket or bomber jacket?
2 months ago i would have said hoodie but im kinda becoming a cardigan kind of person now. theyre just Soft and and Long and Casual and i love them. hoodies are too hard to take off.
47. favorite type of cheese?
mild cheddar, american, and mozzarella. i actually only Recently started cataloging cheeses in my brain to their actual names so for my entire life i was like i just like cheese even though there are certain ones i hate like swiss and blue cheese.
53. what is the current state of your hands?
a bit cold and a bit tired from typing all the answers to all these asks tbh. but other than that good. i just cut my nails because they were atrociously long.
59. if you were a video game character, what would your catchphrase be?
“worm” or “fuck” or “no!” according to my roommate
61. favorite line you heard from a book/movie/tv show/etc.?
oh my ogdokh oym ogdos sd fdospohm to mo edf ucmign fugod mfyo uacant just ask me this im going to absolutely die

67. good luck charms?
not really any tbh. i try to wear my tower of pimps shirt whenever i take an exam but that’s about it.
71. least favorite pattern?
what does this even fucking mean?????? i will say the observer design pattern in programming because i don’t understand it well despite having used it twice now.
73. favorite weird flavor combo?
oh god idk why are all these questions getting harder. nothing i can think of at the moment.
79. which looks better, your school id photo or your driver’s license photo?
i say school id tentatively, but neither of them looks great. my school id photo was a selfie.
83. writing or drawing?
writing. i wish to GOD i could draw and i probably could if i put in the amount of time i need to to learn how to draw but im a lazy bastard. but i’m not that great at writing either as i’ve found out. everything is way too short and out of character and too venty and i am weird about letting people i know read what i write (sorry @ all the people who keep asking me to let them read my writing.  it’s not that great you’re not missing out at all and i hate the Mortifying Ordeal of Being Known) and i abandon ideas literal minutes after getting them.
89. who would you put before everyone else?
what the fuck kind of question is this?????? i GUESS the answer should be me but uh i am not even putting myself before myself as i am procrastinating on a shitload of homework with this. i guess my “close” friends. they’re pretty chill. but generally ill do anything for anyone all you have to do is ask.
97. how many phone numbers do you have memorized?
4, my own, my home landline, my dad’s cell, and my dad’s work.

DMS 103: Basic Video
The Department of Media Study, University at Buffalo SUNY
Spring 2020 Instructor: Charlie Best (pronouns: he/him/his or they/them/theirs)
T/TH 9:00 am - 10:50 am
CFA 286 Office hours by appointment and Tuesdays 11am-12pm, starting 2/4/20
Instructor email: [email protected], UB email TBD blog: “DMS 103 SP2020”  https://video103.tumblr.com/
THIS SYLLABUS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. IT ALMOST CERTAINLY WILL CHANGE. DUE NOTICE WILL BE GIVEN OF THE CHANGES. Course Description: Basic Video is a beginning level class on the uses of digital video as a medium of artistic expression. The class will be a mixture of history, theory, technique and practice; with the emphasis on combining the former three into the all-important act of making. The class is intensive and hands-on; the apprehension of technical and aesthetic skills in shooting, sound, and editing, will be emphasized. Class assignments will introduce students to, or deepen their familiarity with, as many areas of the moving image genre as possible. Importance will be placed on using video as a means of expression, articulation, exploration and experimentation. This course will emphasize experimentation over imitation. Active and constructive participation in class discussion and activity is required. However, both listening
and speaking are involved in successful participation, and this requires sensitivity to the ideas and
methods of participation of others in the class. It is a goal of the class to be open minded and respectful
of others’ work. All ideas, thoughts and critiques are welcomed. Screenings and discussions of specific
screenings will enhance the class. In class exercises and workshops will occur frequently and focus on
elements being currently discussed in the course. There will be weekly moving image creation AND reading/writing/watching assignments, as well as longer term ones. Access to equipment and editing facilities will be available with the $125 lab fee for this course. Course Outcomes
Students will:
▪ have a basic knowledge of video camera operation, lighting equipment and techniques, audio recording, visual composition, and post production editing software.
▪ students will create original video artworks.
▪ critique and analyze one’s own work and classmates’ work using critical analysis and constructive comments.
▪ work individually and collaboratively to produce a finished work that meets assigned objective.
analyze and discuss video examples with effective use of vocabulary of film/ video production.
Required Supplies
-sketchbook or notebook and pen/pencil for notes, drawings, diagrams, etc. Bring it to class every day
1TB USB 3.0 portable Mac compatible hard drive. *NOTE: Although hard drive space is available for students in the editing lab, an external hard drive is highly recommended for this course. Class project files will be large in size. A flash drive is not large enough to properly save your project files. Students are responsible for their file management.
-All required course readings will be provided either electronically or on paper.
Recommended Supplies
-SD Card, minimum 32 GB
-You may find as the course continues that you wish to purchase/borrow various tools/supplies for your work. Expect this desire to come about! No assignment will be given that will require to make any outside purchases in order to successfully complete the assignment to your fullest potential.
Evaluation and Grading Attendance and Participation: 25% Weekly/Biweekly Moving Image Projects and Written Responses/Viewing Assignments: 20% Midterm Project : 25%   Final Project and Portfolio Review: 30% Grading scale: 100-90 = A   89-80 = B   79-70 = C    69-60 = D
 59 and below = F
Extra Credit: Extra credit is welcomed in multiple forms, and can be decided upon between the student and instructor on a case by case basis. Some suggested forms are: independent written analyses of media that has been posted to the class blog, attending and reviewing a local exhibition, camera/video studies done outside of an assignment. To be considered for extra credit, the student must schedule a brief office hour appointment with the instructor, to view and discuss the work. Each extra credit assignment adds 5 points to a previous assignment grade, of the student’s choice. Extra credit cannot be earned and then saved for a future assignment. Extra credit cannot make up for a missed assignment.
Assignment Descriptions Moving Image Projects (MIP): These projects, given weekly or biweekly, are meant to complement/practice a skill/concept covered in class. Consider them like digital sketches in a sketchbook. An informal, raw work that shows dedication or thorough study is just as valid as a completed, polished work. Take them seriously, but enjoy them as well. These are opportunities to make mistakes and learn more about your media making interests/dislikes. The criteria for each MIP will be given the day they are assigned. They will never be required to be more than 2 minutes. We will occasionally critique them as a class and in small groups. Personal feedback will be given from the instructor to the student regarding their MIP.
Written Responses/Viewing Assignments (WR/VA): These assignments, given weekly or biweekly, are meant to complement or further topics presented in class. The criteria for them will be given on the day they are assigned. All written responses will be a minimum of 300 words. College level writing proficiency is expected. Content and thought is graded more heavily than grammar. All written responses are to be turned in to the instructor via email or hard copy, by the start of class, the day they are due. We will occasionally share our writing, in part or full, with each other during in class discussions. The purpose of these assignments is to grow in our critical thinking and sharing of viewpoints, learning to ask questions and analyze media thoroughly. Honest reflection is valued over trying to be fancy for fancy’s sake. Personal feedback will be given from the instructor to the student regarding their WR/VA.
Midterm Project: The midterm project will be a student produced work of 2-3 minutes in length, considered fully complete at the time of presentation. The student will be able to select their final assignment from 3 available project categories, to be given. A proposal will be required and factored into the final grade. This work will demonstrate the student’s grasp of concepts learned in the first half of the course, as well as their conceptual/formal interests.
Final Project and Portfolio Review: The final project will be a student produced work of 5-10 minutes in length, considered fully complete at the time of presentation. A proposal will be required and factored into the final grade. The student will be able to select their final assignment from 5 available project categories, to be given. The student will also present a portfolio of 5 moving image works, not including the final project. These works will have been made over the duration of the course. After the initial due date, a previous assignment may be edited and re-presented as part of the final portfolio. This will not change the assignment’s initial grade, but is meant to encourage further editing on one’s portfolio throughout the semester. The portfolio and final project will demonstrate the student’s grasp on skills learned throughout the course, and the growth of their conceptual/formal viewpoint as a video maker. Class Blog I will be regularly updating a class blog. Here you will be able to find documents, links, criteria, news and more that I will post for you. Required reading or viewing for an assignment I will try my absolute most to both post to the blog, and distribute in person/via email, so that it is always in two locations. The purpose of this blog is to provide resources that can greatly aid your personal research and creative practice, provide an archive of the artists/topics/films/videos/websites/etc we look at, and provide inspiration for assignments. I highly encourage, if you do not already, to start your own creative practice of collecting/archiving media/resources that are meaningful to you. All students will be timely informed of the week’s schedule and the specific nature of assignments. Possible skills learned may include: green screen, lighting, camera angle/shot workshop, sound editing. Possible topics/themes/genres covered may include: narrative and non narrative film making, documentaries, music videos, internet video/memes/social media, video games, performance, race and video/film, gender/sexuality and video/film, found footage, appropriation, general video history, film history, Surrealist film, non-Western filmmaking approaches, collaborations/social experiments, experimental media use. **Once I have more information regarding scheduling during final exams, I will have a more complete schedule regarding final critiques. I am hoping I can add one more week of work time for everyone, but that remains to be seen. Course Policies
Attendance and Participation
Students are allowed 3 unexcused absences (“no call, no show”) for the semester. After a 4th missed class, your final grade will be lowered by half a grade. With six absences, it will be difficult to pass the class. If you know you will be missing class, I appreciate an email sent ahead of time. Medical/personal emergencies are considered excused absences. Students are responsible for any work or content covered that they missed in an absence.
Assignment Policy
Students are expected to turn assignments in on the day they are due, at the beginning of class. This policy will be reconsidered only under extenuating circumstances. Turning in something is always better than turning in nothing. Communicate with the instructor as soon as possible if completing an assignment on time is an issue.  Students are free to use anything they make in this course on their portfolio. Content Warnings I will do my absolute best to inform students, prior to viewing, if the media we are going to watch/read, contains content one may find sensitive or potentially triggering. Please note that media of any content can cause intense reaction based upon the viewer and context it is presented in.
Class Conduct
Students must show the instructor and others proper respect by adhering to the following guidelines:
Students will be on time to class and stay until dismissed. If late, students will enter the
classroom quietly and unobtrusively. If you are over 15 minutes to the class or leave early
without informing the instructor, your attendance will be marked as absent for the day.
Students will refrain from engaging in off topic discussion or distracting behavior during class.
Students will show other students courtesy while they are speaking or presenting material. Respectful, supportive and constructive feedback is expected from all students when reviewing and critiquing their peers’ work in any form.
Students will adhere to professional standards of interaction at all times during class. Students are responsible for the material covered and the homework assigned on the day/s they were absent.
Students are responsible for checking their emails regularly for class announcements.
There will be extremely limited cell phone use in class, as it is distracting to the instructor as
well as your classmates. I ask that you turn off phones and only use computers for notes during
lecture-based classes. Use of these devices during unallocated class time will reflect negatively
on your participation grade. Use of laptops and tablet computers is not allowed during class time for any purpose other than taking notes during lectures, or for an instructor authorized in class workshop. Laptops must be closed during screenings and project presentations.
We will be screening several films and videos in class and discussing each film, so please be
awake, alert, and attentive. Closed-toe shoes are required for every class due to production workshops and handling heavy equipment that has the capacity to cause bodily harm.
Do not leave bottles of water, coffee cups or any waste behind in the classroom or editing studios. Use common sense when considering bringing food or drink to class.
Academic dishonesty and acts of plagiarism will result in serious consequences. If you have any question about the relationship of your work to the work of another, ask your instructor prior to handing in such assignments.
Contact the instructor if you are having trouble keeping up with the course. It’s better to reach out
than wait until it’s too late.

Blind Item #13
Apparently when our favorite former actress was back in the States a few months ago, she slipped her drug of choice past her protection via a friend. This time around, she is going to have to find a new way to get herself supplied. Oh, I have no doubts she will. It is one of the main reasons she is visiting. She misses that kind of partying and she knows no one will dare arrest her if she is busted. It is partying without having to worry about any legal consequences at all.

Sounds like it was before...then XX introduced her to Harry thinking in terms of Harry hiring Me-Again and either she spun it into a "blind date" (as reported for their meeting), or he didn't understand the setup and assumed it was a blind date. Question is, who's the fixer? Guy Pelly or Markus Anderson? And has HRH twigged yet? If not, who's going to tell him?

If you go by this blind. Megan was a yacht girl and Harry was one to use the services of yacht girls (why else would the friend make the assumption?) If they both participated in yacht activities, then neither is morally superior. Harry would have no standing to criticize her - not that he has or would.

It's not 100% up to Harry. If the Palace finds out that she was doing this, he will face a lot of pressure to dump her or renounce it all to marry her.

Not a fan of the royals but I can't believe that the palace hasn't thoroughly investigated Markle, so she must have passed muster. The palace staff are more class conscious and snooty than the royals. I googled, "who introduced Harry and Meghan" and the name "designer Misha Nonoo" kept coming up. I'd never heard of her so I looked up her website and her designs are meager, repetitive and forgettable, however Nonoo is a tall attractive blonde, so I totally believe that she could be a yacht girl who does the part time work to finance her design house.

I think this blind implies she yachted before Harry and that is when one of Harry's buddies used her. Later when he saw them together he just assumed that Harry was using her services also. Doesn't necessarily mean she was yachting when dating Harry. Ash X - just google yacht girls. The term started when beautiful girls hung out at Cannes Film festival and then just with rich guys on their yachts in the med. It has evolved into just high high priced escorts to rich guys and not necessarily on yachts and generally referring to celeb or semi celeb women doing it. It is apparently a real thing. A lot of blinds here about actresses you would never guess that have been 'yacht' girls or still do $$$$ escorting.

Unpopular opinion, but the Queen saw her sister, who was also the "spare", destroyed by being unable to marry the man she wanted. Harry is 6th in line to the throne, or will be by the time he marries, so I don't think the vetting is as extreme for Meghan as it would have been for anyone William dated.

Factor this into the equation. Meghan Markle is paid to perform. (In all kinds of situations). She has now lucked into the gig of a lifetime, playing the role of Prince Harry's loving wife. The Princess role- with the being American,divorced,multi-cultural thrown in for distraction and media-adoration bonus points. The reason for this performance is simple, Prince Harry is a closeted Gay Man, who wishes to pursue his lifestyle behind closed doors. Ignore the manufactured P.R. around his bachelor lifestyle, and examine his past "romances". Think "straight" about this, no man in his position, or a Joe on the Street would ever consider marring Meghan Markle , with the slightest knowledge of her past. This is just a "Hollywood type" arranged marriage to give the Stars cover.

Agree, Nutty_Flavor; it's a lot lower standard for Harry than Billy, as Harry will never inherit. And the standards for Billy are lower than they were for Chuck. Still, I'm sure that Betty and Phil Battenberg think that Uncle Eddie's spouse was enough yachting for the family. The question is: do they care enough at their ages to push back? Certainly there is no cattier bunch than the palace staff, and if there's a rumour, they either know about it or they started it. Perhaps Meggie has a unique ability to charm them. Stranger things, what? Meanwhile, Sarah and Andy grind their teeth....

I'm pretty sure that Harry had to ask the Queen's permission before he could get engaged to M.M., I don't think he's far enough down the list to be able to avoid that. I'm also pretty sure that the gossipy Buck palace people made sure her majesty heard about all the info about her, not to mention any information their version of secret service dug up. My guess is that it's a combo of Harry being down the list of succession and the example of all four of her children being divorced were enough for her to decide it wasn't that important....as long as she doesn't continue on like Fergie did. @ Don, 'Power Ginger': Love it!!!

Grace wasn't abused, no sexually anyway, her father pretty much ignored her, the boys were everything to him, not to mention that stories abound that he believed she was not actually his daughter. She spent her whole life trying to win his praise and affection which resulted in a father figure complex, and affairs with much older men (Bing, Gary Cooper, Gary Grant) as a dark spin off from this. She was no angel and actually very catty to other women, Ava Gardner called her out in public on her hypocrisy, Liz Taylor and Joan Collins were in the room at the time. As for this blind, I take it with a pinch of salt , MI6 would have everything on this woman and the Queen would be told as she seems quite taken with Meg, it probably came from one of Harry's friends who isn't happy about him marrying Meg so is sticking the knife in. Enty is safe from litigation because the royals never sue about gossip , too many other things might come out in court.

I see ZERO chemistry between Harry and MM. Is this like a George Clooney/Amal Beard situation? Also, I've seen some reports that Harry is not Charles son. Some have reported he looks like one of Diana's lovers. Any truth to this? If there is any truth to the former, why should the Queen care who Harry marries if he's not related to the Queen anyway?

@Mango - The roasting a chicken bit made me wonder if it was a code phrase....they said it multiple times. I know I'm cynical as hell, and maybe I have read too many of Enty's blinds over the years, but I thought it was way too contrived. I am trying to figure out why she ALWAYS has her hand on his arm, or his back. So far, my reasoning has led me to think she knows he misses his mother desperately, so she has determined that he needs constant touching and reassurance. I don't like being catty, and I am certainly not racist, but this relationship seems too contrived, like the roast chicken.

Or, maybe they were just roasting a damn chicken and he proposed. I certainly have no means of comparison, but I’d imagine cooking your own dinner is quite a lark when you have to make an appointment to see your own Grandmother. She’s definitely grabby, but Americans tend to be more like that. Perhaps they’re actually in love. I’ll choose to think they are.

346NYC, apparently Diana did have an affair with a ginger. However, Google Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Baroness Fellowes. Those are Diana's older sisters, they are both gingers, and Harry strongly resembles them. I've also noticed that as Harry gets older, he begins to look more and more like a Windsor male in all but coloring. (though the height comes from his mother's side) All in all, I believe he's a genetic Windsor.

No one ever says what the past allegations are about Markle. Just this yacht story. Harry has definitely changed his demeanor/appearance since the engagement announcement. A couple of psychics have said it won't last more than five years. Markle was supposedly up for the next Bond movie as a Bond girl. That would have sent her career into the stratosphere. Hmmmm.

Only Markle says she was supposed to be a Bond girl. Nobody else - certainly not the Bond film people.

What I find interesting is the theory that Diana's biological father is James Goldsmith. She looked so much more like Jemima Kahn then the Spencer sisters. If true, it would make Harry's children with Meghan 1/4 Jewish and 1/4 Black.

Meggie a Bond girl? Not the lead, certainly. She's not that hot. As for Harry being one of mom's lovers' sons? The timing is wrong for that. Also, there's a pic of grandpa Phil at about Harry's current age, with beard. They look like brothers. He's got the Battenberg Y chromos. The word among those who served with Harry is that he's a good chap. Passing on the family tradition of the holiday hunt because Meggie doesn't like it--plus his body language around her--well, that doesn't bode so well for the future. But his gonads are surplus to requirements now, thus he can just be gossip fodder. It's a shame, as he was thought to be the one to bring back some rascally masculinity in house Battenberg.

It was interesting to me that the last (and only other) blind by Enty that 'revealed' Markle as a yacht girl disappeared from this site overnight. It said like more and more people were coming forward about it and named other women from MMs Deal or No Deal days that did the same to supplement their income. They commanded higher rates because of being on a tv show.

I saw "Diana: In Her Own Words" on NatGeo channel. It was originally first aired during a lunar eclipse (well, that was my memory of it). She said she used to hear voices. Like Prince Charles proposed to her and said something along the lines of, "you realise that means you might become queen someday?" And the voice said, "you won't Ben queen but you'll have an important role." And it came true... 🌙

Longtime reader here, first comment - Had to ask if anyone remembers that Jimmy Saville, underage rapist and sex purveyer extrodanaire was also intimately connected with Prince Charles and considered his "mentor", and was allowed to come and go in Buckingham Palace as he pleased. The Queen knows how to handle little Miss Markle, and it will be to appear to be kind and accepting but make no mistake, Markle will be lucky to last through the next five years, and the tabloid thrashing that is going to hound both her and Harry will "teach" him to fall in line next time around, no doubt about it.

My take: Meghan is approved because with all her diversity (American, actress, biracial, divorced) and the distraction it has created, she makes Camilla look less awful, and a bit less controversial. It's pretty clear that the Queen plans on Charles taking the reins, and whatever Camilla will be (Consort? Surely not Queen, one hopes!), she will be in a position that has not occurred in the British Royal family in centuries, as a divorced publicly acknowledged adultress & cuckolder (or is it cuckoldress hahah?). Royal PR are very savvy & trying to spin Chas. & Camilla as less unsavoury than they have been viewed in the past. BTW, has anyone seen Tracy Ullman's take-off on Csmilla? Very spots on Youtubr: it's a scream.

I agree with the commenters saying that Harry has hit a new low. Everything about those 2 seems too fake and contrived - at least on her side. She's really a mediocre C list actress, with mediocre looks. A trip to Top Shop on Oxford Circus, and one can spot 100 Markles, much better looking than this one. He could do so much better, but prefers to settle for average, in every way.

I know someone who moved in Royal circles who says it's openly acknowledged within the fam that Harry is James Hewitt's son. But personally I can see Prince Charles in his looks.

I heard it was the other way round. Awkward when a mutual acquaintance turned out to be a girl from Harry's past. At 1st, Meghan Markle repeatedly turned down Harry's invitations because she had a boyfriend. I remember reading about that back in 2015 when Harry 1st spotted her as an exercise guru on Canadian TV. Finally she agreed to go on a date with him and it was arranged through a friend. Could it be that not every human with a vagina is a whore for fame, money and power? Could it be that those at the British tabloids are just bitter? They hated Frank Sinatra too. That's why they called them rats. Could it be they buried the truth about Harry trolling for chicks on TV programs because it's unseemly?

A new low? I tend to think his low was the Nazi costume. So you think he only consorted with pedigreed virgins before? Curious what bothers you most about MM, her sexual history or her race.

@Media Viewer, not sure where you got the idea that the British tabloids were "bitter" about Markle. Both the Daily Mail and the Sun have been outdoing themselves to sell her to the British public. The last 3 Markle headlines in The Sun: "Get that Markle Sparkle: Meghan Markle's Skincare guru on the perfect prep for your big day." "One is Amused: Meghan Markle's Xmas gift to the Queen caused Her Maj to burst out laughing." "Royal Knees Up: Pubs to open until 1am for 2 nights to celebrate Harry and Meghan's wedding." The tabloids are there to get clicks - and have a healthy side business being paid for placement, which is why you see so many articles about Emily Ratajkowski in them. Whether the positive Meghan articles are paid-for-placement or just a way to stay in good graces with the Firm is unknown. The fact is, though, that the British tabloids are not tearing Meghan down at this point in time.

It can't be anything worse than what Prince Andrew got up to with his friend Epstein. Then there's Charlie's friendship with serial abuser Savile. The Royals can cover up scandal no problem, as they have the security services doing it for them.

He looks so much like a young Prince Philip it’s ridiculous. How can people ignore such a strong resemblance to his father and paternal grandfather? It makes no sense. Yes, Diana had affairs. No, she did not father Harry with one of them.

None - you must be one of those ppl who judges ppl by the colour of their skin, and not the content of their character. To you, MM, who is average in every way, is special, because of her race, while I don't give a shit about her race, and I dislike her purely for what sort of person she appears to be. Reverse racism it's called.

as much as I dislike him, remember, Charles too knows what its like to be forbidden to marry who he loved- and look at the lengths he ultimately went ot and the disaster that ensued. Maybe Harry really loves her- given his past, I have to believe he knows all about her. I bet the castle/crown staff just keeps all of Meghan's indiscretions/past secreted from the very old Queen, whose husband is failing... can't be too hard.
