I've never actually drawn a character from shitty YouTube screenshots of concept art before and it was very hard but honestly worth it. I also usually only keep Necro and Undine in their wing forms but honestly these new designs are so fucking cool I couldn't possibly resist.

I looove this new design. I'm really excited for October even if I haven't been playing much Strive lately.

#mine #origami #manticore #RED #what a lovely sendoff to this red wax pastel.... completely different feeling depending on your screen I'm afraid.#for me it's sharingan levels of hurt on mobile and almost disappointingly orange on desktop.#do switch around your devices for the complete manticore experience.#this is adapted from a winged lion model by Mauricio Flórez Pinzón #I'll make a post with a link and some photo resources #basically the only changes needed was a modification of the tail and a bit of unfriendlyness added to the mane #his was more inspired by st marc's lion i imagine #too much of a cherub vibe for my purpose #otherwise absolutely excellent model #very easy collapsing #GREAT weight distribution: despite my moving the tail to the center and the head being pretty voluminous is still stands on its 4 legs #i had no problem of the model opening up and flattening itself or anything #and there are plenty of sculpting possibility #all the while the shape is pretty understandable already from the collapsed model

If your still undecided about what modern au Machete would have as a job, I would like to nominate him as a niche fashion model. Not like a popular celebrity, because he's not conventionally attractive, but he has that aura. He can Walk (in heels!!!)

I want to give him an excuse to wear all different kinds of fancy clothes, basically. He deserves to be dressed to the nines and glare down at an audience from the runway.

#modern Machete is into fashion without a doubt #enough to dream about being a designer or a model or anyone in those circles #but I'm not sure he'd have the personality for it #I think you need to be at least passably sociable as a model right?#bold enough to put yourself out there but also humble and cooperative so people will want to work with you #and you have to be adaptable and stress-resistant to deal with long shooting days and travel #you gotta let hair stylists and makeup artists touch you and be somewhat ok with dressing and undressing with other people in the room #I tend to think his day job is something kind of boring and not glamorous at all but he's very good at it and it pays well #and he uses some of those paychecks to buy himself nice things to wear #but it was very sweet of you to think he could be a model he would've loved to hear that #answered #anonymous
