Lobster and Gruyère Tart with Herb Salad
Ingredients:
For the Tart:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
8 oz cooked lobster meat, roughly chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Herb Salad:
1 cup mixed fresh herbs (such as parsley, chives, dill, and basil), roughly chopped
1/4 cup arugula or baby greens
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Tart:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to fit a tart pan or a baking sheet. Trim any excess pastry.
Prick the bottom of the pastry with a fork to prevent it from puffing up too much.
Blind bake the pastry for about 10 minutes, or until it starts to turn golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
Prepare the Filling:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
Stir in the grated Gruyère cheese, chopped chives, and parsley.
Assemble the Tart:
Evenly distribute the chopped lobster meat over the partially baked puff pastry.
Pour the cream and cheese mixture over the lobster, spreading it evenly.
Return the tart to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
Prepare the Herb Salad:
In a large bowl, combine the mixed fresh herbs and arugula or baby greens.
Drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toss gently to combine.
Serve:
Slice the Lobster and Gruyère Tart and serve warm.
Accompany each slice with a portion of the fresh herb salad on the side.
Tips:
You can use pre-cooked lobster meat to save time. Freshly cooked lobster is also a great option for added flavor.
Adjust the types and amounts of herbs in the salad according to your preference.
This tart pairs well with a crisp white wine or a light salad for a complete meal.

Lobster and mac and cheese are both very rich, but they can be cooked in the same pan, which makes it easier to prepare.
Ingredients: 2 cups elbow macaroni. 4 cups chicken broth. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 cooked lobster tail, chopped. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley. 1 tablespoon butter.
Instructions: Put the elbow macaroni and chicken broth in a large skillet and mix them together. Bring to a boil over a medium-high level of heat. Lower the heat to medium-low, and let it simmer, stirring every now and then, for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until the macaroni is done and most of the broth has been absorbed. Salt and pepper should be added along with the heavy cream. Put the Parmesan cheese, the mozzarella cheese, and the cheddar cheese on top. Mix the sauce and cheese together until it's smooth. Cut up the lobster tail and parsley and mix them in. Take it off the heat and add the butter, stirring it in until it melts and is fully mixed in. Serve hot, and if you want, top with more parsley.

This shrimp scampi with zucchini noodles is a new way to make a classic dish that is light and tasty. You can make it quickly and easily, and it's great for a weeknight dinner or a special event.
Ingredients: 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined. 4 medium zucchini, spiralized into noodles. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1/4 cup olive oil. 1/4 cup white wine. 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes. Salt and black pepper to taste. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. Grated Parmesan cheese for serving optional.
Instructions: In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat until the butter is melted. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, and saut for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Increase the heat to medium-high, then add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turns pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, pour in the white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add the zucchini noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the noodles are tender but still slightly crisp. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, and toss everything together until heated through. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot, optionally garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.

King salmon fillets are marinated in a tasty plum sauce and then grilled in this recipe. The sweet and sour sauce goes well with the rich salmon flavor, making this a dish that's great for any event.
Ingredients: 4 King salmon fillets 6 ounces each. Salt and black pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 cup plum preserves. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro optional, for garnish.
Instructions: Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. On top of the salmon fillets, sprinkle them with olive oil and salt and pepper. Put soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and plum preserves in a small saucepan. With the heat on medium, melt the preserves and make the sauce smooth. This should take about 5 minutes. Take the sauce off the heat and add the sesame oil. Salmon fillets should be grilled for four to five minutes on each side, or until a fork can easily flake the fish. Brush salmon with a lot of plum sauce in the last minute of cooking. Take the salmon off the grill and give it a minute or two to rest. If you want, you can serve the grilled salmon with chopped cilantro on top and extra plum sauce on the side.
