Ok so I think Sean would be very chill and at the same time very open and gentle in his way of loving someone.

Some things depend on if when you’re dating it’s before the events of Seattle or after. Or if you’re with them and seeing his character development for yourself.

I do think he would be very protective no matter which version of that is.

He’d want to be there in every way. If it’s protecting you from someone or something else or even from your own thoughts. Cause let’s be honest we all have our moments when we aren’t as kind to ourselves as we should be. And he’d be right there! Hence the song

Before the incident:

If you’re dating before the events of Seattle then I see so many movie nights with popcorn and snuggly blankets. Daniel would always want to be right in the middle 😁 Sean would try to send him away unless you told him different. Sean’s dad, Esteban, would walk by making teasing comments every so often but all in good fun.

If you guys went to parties he’s definitely the show off type when it comes to you. Introducing you to everyone that talks to him. You’ll probably never really talk to these people again after the party and he knows that, it’s just a way for him to say “I love this person and no one else!” to people so they don’t get any ideas.

100% loves to draw you. You are his muse whether you realize he’s drawing you or not. (You know he’s drawing you but he doesn’t always know that you know. He thinks it’s genuine when you pretend to be surprised as he hands it to you.)

Laying on his bed sharing earbuds and listening to the music in silence is something he loves to do because just being in each other’s presence is special to him. He loves spending any kind of time with you.

After the incident:

Now if you’re dating him during/after the incident/journey to the boarder, he’s a bit different.

His protectiveness is a lot more heightened. Nothing will get past him when it comes to you or Daniel.

And as much as their dad is still their dad, he has taken on some kind of parental figure over Daniel so it would make sense that you both took on those roles.

Talking with each other about what’s the best plan of action when it comes to Daniel is a frequent conversation. Talking with you about wether they should go to their grandparents for medicine for Daniel was a big one.

You both are pretty much in a rush trying to survive and get to Mexico that it put a pause on your relationship. You were still together but there was now things that were more important and you didn’t really think about other things. That was until you both were able to settle down at the farm.

Things at the farm weren’t completely perfect but you both had the chance to feel normal again. Or at least as much as you could.

Coffee in the mornings, swimming at the lake, cuddling at the campfire with the others, playing that pirate ship game that Daniel says he out grew is a normal routine for you guys.

Also I just feel like he loves kissing your forehead/the top of your head. He does it very frequently.

He’s also a big hand holder. If you’re walking and let go of his hand, he is offended! ☝️

All in all, he’s very sweet and loves you greatly. He’d do anything for you and Daniel. Whatever it takes.

You and Sean had gotten together just before his career skyrocketed, every premier you were arm on his arm love in your eyes as you stood together. 

You'd been seen as the It couple, the normal person and the film star. It didn't bother you that he was famous, of course you missed him when he was away filming but you'd make up for it when he came home when the pair of you would fall into each other's arms.

This time had been particularly hard on you, while he'd been away there had been pictures published in the tabloids showing Sean with someone else. You'd been assuming that a proposal was coming soon, seeing as how long you'd been together but those pictures filled you with fear and dread.

Arriving back from work, you saw his bag in the hallway. Smiling widely, you took off your jacket and rushed inside looking for him. As you entered the living room you saw him walking down the stairs, more bags in his hands. “Sean, what's going on?” You asked as your heart began to beat faster.

“We're over.” His words hit you like a ton of bricks to the chest. “What do you mean?” You asked in hardly a whisper. “I don't love you anymore.” You felt your heart breaking into pieces. “Don't say that.” You said as you looked at him. “Don't lie to me.” Sean placed down his bags as he looked at you.

“It's been coming for a while, I met someone else. I don't love you anymore.” Tears ran down your face as you looked at him stood there wearing Jeans, a button down shirt that you'd brought him and a brown jacket. He looked so good and this made it worse.

“Why are you doing this?” You croaked out in a small whisper as Sean walked over to you. “Because it's not right to string you along.” He reached up to touch your cheek, he always hated when you cried.

 “Don't touch me!” You smacked his hand away. “You don't have the right to touch me anymore!” You yelled through your tears. “It's that person you were seen with in the papers, wasn't it? You said I had nothing to worry about, you said it was just publicity! You lied!” Shoving him away from you, Sean stumbled back and looked at you.

“I'm sorry.” He whispered as he placed down your house key and picked up his bags. “I'll come for the rest of my stuff when I'm settled.” Watching him walk away, you crumbled down to the ground, sobbing on the floor.

Sean stepped out of the apartment and closed the door, he could hear you sobbing and it broke his heart. He would give anything to take the last five minutes back. Leaning against the door he took a shaky breath, Josephine was wrong just because you were from different worlds didn't mean you wouldn't work. 

But it was too late now, he'd already broken your heart.

“Jesus!” Sean let out a loud groan of pain, clenching his teeth as you brushed through his knotted ginger hair. “Can’t ya be any more gentle with that?” He whined, his face scrunched and contorted with pain. You simply rolled your eyes. Sean could be quite the crybaby. You both knew he needed this, though. God forbid he ever took care of his hair. "Stop being so dramatic, Sean!" You groaned, carrying on brushing it through his hair, being extra careful to get the knots out. “I’m just sayin’!” He protested weakly. “That hurts, Ruby!” He winced, but the look in his eyes held something different; something tender. He seemed to enjoy the fact that you were brushing his hair. It seemed…intimate somehow. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just..I'm trying to help." You sighed, doing it slower.

“Nah, it’s fine. Don’t worry about it.” He chuckled weakly. “Jus’ be a little gentler, aye?” Sean glanced at you. “I have a sensitive scalp.” Sean smiled sweetly, his hair looking much softer and clean now. "Surely it feels better, no?" You asked genuinely, running my fingers through the soft strands. “Yeah.” He smiled, running his hand through his clean hair. “Feels nice, actually. Thank ya.”Sean’s eyes lingered on you as he smiled warmly. He moved in closer, until he was only inches away. “It feels nice having someone that close… brushing my hair.” His tone made it clear that he wasn’t talking about his hair. "All you have to do is ask." You reminded, smiling gently at him, finishing getting the last tangle out.

“I know.” He leaned in even closer, his eyes never leaving yours. “I just wanted to take the chance to be near ya.” Sean suddenly grabbed your face, kissing your lips passionately. He held the kiss for a moment, pulling away slowly. When he did, he looked down at you with a sheepish grin. "You're a fool." you teased playfully, giggling as you wrapped my arms around his neck. “Only for you.” He mumbled, resting his head on yours. He looked down at you lovingly, his eyes staring deeply into your own. Sean slowly reached to rub your back, running a soft thumb over your skin. He leaned down, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead. "damn right Macguire." you smiled, poking his chest softly. Sean snickered, poking you back. He moved into your lap, wrapping his arms around your waist. He nuzzled his nose into your neck, kissing it lightly. “You wanna go see a show later?” His tone was soft and almost playful. He nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck again, rubbing his stubble up against your skin.

"The one in Valentine? or Saint Denis?" you grinned, pressing kisses to his jaw. “The one in Saint Denis. I don’t think the gang would appreciate me and you seeing a show in Valentine's.” Sean kissed the spot where his hands rested, his face nuzzled into your neck. He looked up, flashing you a devilish smile with his signature crooked, red grin. “Wanna go to a bar too?” His tone had that same playful nature from before, but this time there was an undertone of something else. Something… smoky and seductive. "Is it gonna end up with us going to a hotel?" you smirked, hands running up and down his chest. “Maybe.” Sean smirked right back, his hands lightly cupping your waist. He looked into your eyes, his voice still playful and almost mischievous. “But I promise, I’ll make it worth your time if it does.” he reassured, face tinted almost as if he was blushing.
