* Does this one actually count as a movie? Feel like it's a bit of a stretch, but it does say "The Movie" right there in the title xD And it's ME, I feel like my list would be incomplete if I didn't include something starring my fave fire boi lol! ** What?! Frozen II on the list, but not the original Frozen?! That's right, it IS possible for one of a person's utmost fave characters of all time to be in a movie they thought was only okay xD Don't get me wrong, I do like Frozen, it just didn't make the cut for this list! Frozen II on the other hand came out in theaters at a time when I only had to pay $15/mo for unlimited movie tickets and I loved it so much, I was seeing it 2 or 3 times a week x'D *** I know rules didn't say to point this out, but I feel like I had to do it anyway: Utmost. Fave. Movie. Of. All. Time. RDJ and Val Kilmer in a comedic whodunit? Movie gold! Watch it. It's good!
Okay, now to tag people! Remember this is just for fun, absolutely no pressure to actually do this, only if you want to! Tagging: @basiliskonline @daughterofkyne @astranovus64 and to anyone else reading this who thinks creating a list of your fave movies sounds fun, I tag you as well! :D

Dafne Keen and Hugh Jackman in Logan (James Mangold, 2017)
Cast: Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Richard E. Grant, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal, Quincy Fouse. Screenplay: James Mangold, Scott Frank, Michael Green. Cinematography: John Mathieson. Production design: François Audouy. Film editing: Michael McCusker, Dirk Westervelt. Music: Marco Beltrami.
James Mangold knows something that James Cameron figured out on the first two Terminator movies and George Miller on the Mad Max series: that if you're putting together a big action movie with superheroes and sci-fi concepts, it's best that you keep the human scale in mind. That's the secret of Logan's success -- and to my mind the undoing of most of the blockbuster comic book movies, even those in the Marvel X-Menseries of which Logan is a part. Hugh Jackman's Logan/Wolverine character is a known quantity, and his performances have stood out through most of the films in which he appears. But Logan has never been a particularly human-scale figure: His adamantium superstructure makes him virtually invincible. But he has a troubled past, and in the beginning of Logan he's also physically ill, making him snarlier but also more humanly vulnerable than ever. Holed up in Mexico with the last of the X-Men, Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and Caliban (Stephen Merchant), he's just trying to get by, procuring medicine for the nonagenarian Xavier, who has occasional seizures that, because of his telekinetic powers, endanger everyone around him. All of this is the usual fantastic stuff of the Marvel movies, but the humanizing of Logan takes place when he's faced with saving a young mutant named Laura (Dafne Keen), who has been created in a laboratory using some of Logan's own DNA. And so the story of the declining Logan, the dying Xavier, and the imperiled Laura develops a human emotional content that actually becomes quite touching -- especially as Logan is not at first inclined to acknowledge Laura as essentially his own daughter. Plot complications ensue because of the attempts of the biotech company that created Laura and a handful of other synthetic mutants, who have escaped captivity, to reclaim them by any means necessary. The slam-bang action stuff is well-done but the whole thing would be just routine without the fine performances of Jackman and Stewart, and especially young Keen, whose fiercely determined Laura reminded me of Millie Bobby Brown's work as Eleven on the series Stranger Things. This is evidently a great time for very young actresses.

Secret Mutant Madness 2017 Sign up closes on 10 November
Tumblr media
Charles: *writes* Dear X-Men Fan, I'm sending you this postcard to remind you to sign up to Secret Mutant Madness 2017.
You can leave multiple prompts for XMFC, DOFP and XMA related fiction and art. You can choose other people's prompts and write or illustrate them. If you only want to prompt, that's splendid. If you only to want to fill prompts, that's delightful. If you want to do both, that's groovy (I’m so “down with the kids” as you young people say).
Sign up closes on the 10th of November at 5pm GMT.
Our resident technopath @jackyjango has done something terribly clever to these postcards. Just touch the wording below to be magically transported to:
Secret Mutant Madness 2017
Isn't technology brilliant? Isn't mutation wonderful? Aren't certain people totally, utterly and completely wrong when they say humans and mutants can't live in harmony? Isn't it rude of certain people to make jokes about other people’s sudden hair loss?
P.S. Apologies for Erik's outfit. He insisted on wearing it. He has a perfectly lovely suit and turtleneck he could have worn. Or a fetching plaid shirt and denim combo that has a charming lumberjack vibe. But no, he was determined to go for the red leather downmarket Dom look. At least it’s better than the goth lobster costume he wore when he dropped a stadium on me. Or the drag queen crossed with a comic book villian monstrousity he favoured when he tried to replace me with Emma Frost. As for blue and yellow flight suits, HE CAN FU
Erik: Hello, Charles. What are you up to?
Charles *sweeps the postcards into his desk drawer* Nothing, darling, just tax returns.
Erik: Oh. Have you done the Secret Mutant postcards yet?
Charles: Yes, dear. They were posted yesterday.
Erik: Oh. Did you remember to specify it’s for mutants only?
Charles: Of course.
Erik: Are you sure?
Charles: *opens his eyes very wide, licks his lips and sparkles at Erik*
Erik:
(Forty minutes later)
Erik: *putting his clothes back on* What were we talking about just before the Sexy Times?
Charles: *putting his clothes back on* Tax returns.

Dear Secret Mutant,
thank you for signing up! Here’s some info on my likes and dislikes to help you navigate my prompts (I’m sorry if they’re mostly fic-centered: if you’re an artist feel free to take them as general hints and let your inspiration run wild – I’ll love you all the same, if not more <3):
ERIK YES
I love AUs, like, any kind of AU. I’m the utterly insufferable person who will, without fail, see/watch/read/listen to something new and try and cherik it. This goes on the sorry not sorry list. Powered AUs are also much appreciated, if that works with what you have in mind.
While I’m mainly Cherik trash (and mostly I headcanon Charles and Erik as bi), any ship (whose characters involved have some sort of canon interaction) is good, be it hetero/homo/threesome/poly etc. Also any genderswap combination is ok.
Any rating is ok, feel free to be as explicit (or not) as you’re comfortable! You’re more than allowed to thrill me, scare me, shock me, disgust me with gore (though I’d prefer it to be relevant to the plot), torture me with angst and make me cry all of my tears – or crack me up with comedy and cocoon me in fluff, your choice. (Of course, it can also be a bit of this and that.)
Hell yeah with any kind of parenting/mentoring, domesticity, ups and downs of established relationships. You’ll have me melt in a puddle with pining, UST, fake relationships, secret relationships, porn with plot, sex to love, arranged marriage, exes still in love, hurt/comfort, cuddling, actual loving relationships based on mutual respect and, last but not least, chess scenes.
ERIK NO
underage, incest, dub/non-con, scat/watersports, D/s ‘verse, significant age difference + unbalanced power relationships where one party is (or has been, at a certain point) a parental/mentoring figure to the other party (so I guess that actually rules out Charles/Jean), damsel-in-distress!Charles, rough!Erik and ginormous!Erik, bestiality, cute animal hybridizations (e.g. dog/cat ears and tails - while I’m down with any AU where everyone is a snail, a kitchen appliance or a tree), and tentacle erotica are a no-no.
For any further clarifications, feel free to drop an anon ask or have the mods contact me on your behalf!

Chaos Walking watch movie full 2021
Chaos Walking 2021 full - https://chaos-walking-eng.blogspot.com/
The main character, Todd Hewitt, is the only boy in the city of Prentissstown, inhabited only by men. After the war with the monsters, the settlers were infected with the Noise virus, and all the women disappeared without a trace. Now the surviving men can hear each other's thoughts, thanks to which Todd, on the eve of his majority, hears in the noise of other people's aggressive and suspicious thoughts that the inhabitants of the city are hiding something from him. And this is something so terrible that Hewitt is forced to flee, taking only the dog Mancha with him. Hiding from the chase, he encounters an unknown creature - a girl whose thoughts he does not hear.
Doug Lyman's film Treads of Chaos, a large-budget adaptation of Patrick Ness's novel of the same name, will be shot on a large scale, THR reported. This could cause Lionsgate to delay the release of the film from March 1, 2019 due to the busy work schedules of Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley, the main roles. According to sources, the budget for the fantastic film is estimated at $ 90–100 million. Filming is expected to take two or three weeks, but will begin in late 2018 or early 2019. The main work on the board was completed in November 2017 and this delay is associated with the hiring of actors. In the near future, Holland will have a sequel to the blockbuster Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Ridley will be busy filming the ninth episode of Star Wars. Now the producers are in negotiations with the author of the trilogy, Patrick Ness. He is asked to write additional pages of the script. The action of the Ness trilogy takes place in the New World, in a human colony on one of the planets, which has become a haven for settlers from the dying Earth. The protagonist's name is Todd Hewitt (Netherlands), and he is the last boy from Prenticestown - a city where there have been no women for a long time and men go crazy with the constant noise. Having won the war with the local creatures, spots, the Terrans were infected with the Noise virus and now hear not only each other's thoughts, but also the thoughts of all living beings. In a month, Todd turns 16 and realizes that something terrible can happen on this day. The boy flees the city with his talking dog Mancha and sets out on a journey, during which he meets the girl Viola, who has just arrived from Earth in a reconnaissance ship. Todd discovers that women do not hear noise, but this is not the only revelation he will learn over time. "The Tread of Chaos" is a very dark trilogy, where the writer is more interested in life in a new society, the genocide of aliens and the problems of choice that the main character faces. Although there is a romantic line, it does not become central. Large-scale filming and remakes have always been a common practice in modern Hollywood. In late March, it was learned that Fox Studio had changed the release of two films at the same time - "New Mutants" and "Dark Phoenix" - sending the photos for review. Lionsgate released the first trailer for the sci-fi movie Chaos Walking, which features a literary base, impressive cast and talented director. The film is an adaptation of the first book in Patrick Ness's “Chaos Walking” trilogy, entitled “The Knife of Never Letting Go” (2008). If the film is financially successful, we will certainly see cinematic adaptations of the next two books “The Ask and the Answer” (2009) and “Monsters of Men” (2010). According to the plot, in the near future, the main character Viola (Daisy Ridley) ends up on a mysterious planet, where all women have disappeared, and men are unable to hide their thoughts from others because of the mysterious noise. By a happy coincidence, Viola is played first by Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland), who is trying to protect the girl from the cruel reality. In addition to Daisy Ridley (Star Wars) and Tom Holland (Spider-Man), the film features Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal), Nick Jonas (Midway), David Oyelowo (The Cloverfield Paradox), Cynthia Erivo (“Stranger”) and others. The action of the fantastic ribbon unfolds on the planet where the surviving earthlings moved after a man-made disaster. An unknown virus has killed all women and children, and men have gained the ability to hear the thoughts of others through the noise that causes aggression. At the center of the plot is the story of a young man named Todd, who meets survivor Viola, who manages to drown out the noise. Together, they try to uncover the truth and save humanity. The film Steps of Chaos was shot by filmmaker Doug Lyman from the first novel in the eponymous book series by Patrick Ness. One of the screenwriters was Charlie Kaufman, who won an Oscar for the script for the drama Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Reason. Initially, the famous Robert Zemeckis was planned to direct the thriller, but, having declined due to an inadequate filming schedule, he remained in the role of producer. Viola Id's image, capable of revealing the secrets of a new planet, was created by Daisy Ridley, who gained popularity thanks to her role as Ray in Star Wars. Todd's role was played by actor Tom Holland, who is remembered by the audience for his participation in films about the Marvel Universe. Danish actor Mads Mikkelson (The Hunger Games, Twilight) starred in the usual image of the main villain, personifying the image of the cruel mayor of Prentissstown.
